A/N: And here, we have a different song playing this time around for the moment where the spy car was soaring in the air. Also, the serum administered to Robyn finally wears off.

Chapter 7: Home, Sweet Rabbit Hole

Play Seal Music: "Fly Like an Eagle"

The spy car was flying away from Las Vegas.

"ETA to Area 52, 10 minutes.", the spy car GPS said.

As everyone else except DJ looked out the window with Robyn being amazed at seeing the stars, Kate looked out the window and gasped upon seeing that they're flying up above a passing airplane just beneath them.

"Please return your seatbacks to their full and upright position.", the airplane radio spoke.

Kate then moved back into the car.

I want to fly like an eagle, to the sea

Fly like an eagle

Let my spirit carry me

I want to fly (oh, yeah)

Fly right into the future

"Look how high up we are.", Kayla gasped in amazement.

"Yeah. Look at all those stars.", Robyn agreed.

"So, after we get to Area 52, what are your plans from there, if I may ask?", Kate asked.

"Daffy will save us. He's the hero.", Bugs responded.

"All right, bucktooth. Stick a carrot in it.", Daffy retorted, shoving Bugs back slightly.

"I thought we were gonna figure out the clue behind that playin' card.", Tom puzzled.

"Well, that's the plan, Tom.", Robyn responded.

"Right?", Jerry added.

"Everybody calm down, all right? I can handle this.", DJ assured.

But when DJ grabbed the lever, Robyn gasped.

"No, DJ, wait! That would only…!", Robyn began before DJ pulled it, causing it to beep and sputter.

"…stop the car…", Robyn finished as DJ failed to realize in time that it stopped the car.

The car then started to fall in midair, prompting everyone inside to scream. While Tom screamed as loud as he could, Bugs himself kept screaming until he coughed. To fix that, he sprayed his larynx and then screamed louder as the car continued to fall. At that point, Robyn's body started to regress back into a 9-year-old age one body part at a time as Tom held onto her in fright. In the meantime, however, Daffy was calling someone with a smirk.

"Sell all my Warner Brothers stock. I got an inside tip that Bugs Bunny is about to die.", Daffy urged.

Fortunately, just as the car was about to hit the ground, it stopped a few feet short and all 8 hit the window without any major damage.

"Are you guys okay?", Robyn asked.

"Just a little shaky…", Jerry added.

"Barely.", Kayla added.

"What about you?", Tom asked.

"I feel a little dizzy…", Robyn responded.

"Huh. Out of gas.", Bugs responded.

"Ah, you know how it is with those Tuscan models, nowadays.", Tom responded.

Later, the group of 8 set up camp in the desert with DJ and Kayla in their sleeping bags, a coyote howl faintly heard. While Bugs roasted a carrot by the campfire and offered it to Daffy, Robyn (back in her normal clothes), Kayla, Tom, and Jerry were making s'mores.

"Eh, carrot?", Bugs asked.

"No, thanks.", Daffy politely refused, albeit a bit sullenly.

"It's good to be back to normal.", Robyn grinned.

"You kiddin'? It's a good thing we packed some of this stuff for the trip.", Tom said.

As for DJ and Kayla, they stared at the playing card.

"So, that explains it. You know, come to think of it, you did almost say you were fired back home, Dad.", Kayla said.

"I just can't believe it took a black duck to get us this far.", DJ responded.

"You really think that playing card is going to help you rescue your father and Robyn's?", Kate asked to DJ.

"Yeah, I do.", DJ added.

"You know this all sounds insane, right?", Kate asked.

"It's the only lead we've got. And if Dusty says we should go to Area 52, we should go there.", Kayla retorted.

Kate saw how serious she is.

"Oh. You're serious, aren't you?", Kate asked.

"What do you think?", Kayla asked.

Robyn looked up at the starry night sky as well as the fireplace.

"You know? It takes me back to when I first met you two. Back then, it was while we did a gig in my first movie where I was in trouble and needed help getting away from Figg and Lickboot.", Robyn said to Tom and Jerry.

"Oh, yeah. I remember that.", Jerry said.

"Not one of our best works, I'll admit.", Tom agreed.

"Yeah. But this time? It's all real. And Daddy's the one in trouble. So, we need to help him like Daddy did for me, movie or not.", Robyn urged.

The cat and mouse nodded in agreement as Bugs started eating his roasted carrot.

"Well, it's a nice bit of change of pace, come to think of it. But before we can do any rescuing, we have to get some rest first. And what better way than my cozy little home in the underground, where at this time, you can see the desert sky at night, so tranquil, so peaceful, just us, the moon, and our shadows.", Bugs suggested.

"Uh, you kinda forgot the campfire, but I see where you're goin' with this.", Tom grinned.

"Me, too.", Jerry agreed.

"Me, three.", Robyn added.

Surprisingly, Kate walked over near them.

"Me, four.", Kate added, much to their surprise.

"You, too, huh, toots?", Bugs asked, chewing his carrot. "Then, be my guest."

Kate was the first to enter. Deep inside was the interior just like how it was in one of Bugs' shorts called "To Hare is Human", much to her astonishment as she gasped.

"That one's actually real?", Kate asked as Robyn, Tom, and Jerry entered next.

"You'd be surprised how many rabbit holes he actually has around the world.", Robyn grinned.

"Don't forget the tunnels.", Jerry added.

"Oh, yeah. And some routines. Remember 'Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers'?", Tom added as DJ turned to Kayla.

"Don't you wanna join them?", DJ asked.

"No. I just want to stay up here with you and Daffy.", Kayla replied.

Given how he now knew of Kayla's love for Daffy, he paid no mind to it.

"All right. Good night.", DJ said.

"Good night.", Kayla responded.

As the two were getting ready to go to sleep, Bugs and Daffy were talking, unaware that Kayla was waking up and seeing their talk.

"I'm telling you, Daffy... I heard the Warner Brothers say you were their best duck.", Bugs commented.

"Flattered though I may be, flattened I will not... in order for you to get the laughs. It's all, 'whoo-hoo', 'yuk-yuk', and then, bam, wham, blam!", Daffy retorted as, while Bugs was eating his carrot, he put his hand on his head to start off, acted looney, and then spun his beak around with a slap, bashed his head in with his first, and then popped his beak open with his eyes now seen without a mouth.

"And your tail is on fire."

"Exactly my point. The…"

"No, really, your tail's on fire.", Bugs said.

As soon as Daffy turned and noticed that his tail was on fire, he quite jumped in pain.

"YEEEOW!"

He then ran around wildly, trying to put it out.

"Daff, you're accident-prone.", Bugs commented.

Daffy sighed as he slowed down and then put out the fire on his tail.

"What am I talking to you for? All you have to do is munch on a carrot, and people love you.", Daffy groaned.

Bugs could only look to him in pity as he munched on said carrot.

Then, much to his surprise, Kayla picked up Daffy and hugged him gently.

"I love you, Daffy.", Kayla assured sweetly.

She then carried him over to where she was sleeping like a stuffed animal and then put a blanket over her and Daffy to keep warm, the latter looking genuinely surprised before he looked up to the sky as Kayla started to sleep.

"Night, Daffy."

After a moment, he spoke to himself.

"I wonder how Porky's doing right now…"

End Alexandre Desplat Music: "Kristofferson's Theme"

Little did he know that back at the suburbs, Porky was wondering the same thing.

"I-I-I wonder how Da-Daff-Daf-that poor duck's doing...", Porky stuttered with a sigh.

"Beats me. I even wonder how that cat and mouse are doin' on their end, too.", Spike, the neighborhood dog concurred.

Tyke walked over, whimpering slightly.

"What's that, son?", You wonder how Robyn's doing, too?", Spike guessed before Tyke nodded.

"I know that they have until Monday, but I already have a feelin' it could be taking them a while. If we could only go where they're headed.", Spike said.

"Yeah, but wh-wh-wh-where do we g-g-g-leave from there?", Porky asked, getting out a nightly newspaper, which held a picture of Bugs and the gang about their adventure in Las Vegas, much to his surprise as Porky gasped.

"What is it, pig? What's wrong?", Spike asked.

"I-I-I think I know where they we-we-we-have been to.", Porky responded, showing Spike the headline that read, "Hare and Loathing in Las Vegas".

"No way…! That's where they were?! And the Animaniacs were there, too?! And more importantly? How did they print the news so fast?", Spike puzzled.

A/N: Looks like Porky, Spike, and Tyke are soon to get in on it eventually, too. But it's a matter of when the trio would catch up to the main gang.
