I'm on a roll! Looks like I just can't stop writing this story.
Chapter 3: Drum Roll!
"So you've come to, Inmate", said the girl on the right as Akita shakes the jailbars.
"The you in reality is curently fast asleep", said the girl on the left. "You are only experiencing this as a vivid dream."
"You're in the presence of our master. Stand up straight", shouted the girl on the right.
What the hell is this!?
Akita shifted her view to the long-nosed man sitting at a desk.
"Welcome. I am delighted to make your aquaitance. This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter", the man said with a gruff voice.
"It is a room only those bound by a 'contract', may enter", the man said as Akita woryingly looked at the jailbars.
"I am Igor, the master of this place. Remember it well", Igor said as he tapt his fingers on the desk. "I summoned you to speak of important matters. It involves your life as well."
"Important matters", Akita questioned.
"Still, this is a surprise... The state of this room reflects the state of your mind", Igor said while looking at the room. "To think one would apear as a prison. You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the future, there is no mistake that ruin awaits you."
"Ruin", Akita questioned again.
"I speak of the end of everything. However, there is a means to combat this ruin. Rehabilitation. You must rehabilitate towards freedom... That is your only posibility to avoid this ruin... Do you have the resolve to chalenge the distortion of the world", Igor asked.
"I'd rather avoid ruin", Akita responded.
"Then let us oversee your rehabilitation", Igor said as the two girls turned around. "Ah, pardon me for not introducing the others. To your right is Justine. To your left is Caroline. They serve as wardens here."
"Try and strugle as hard as you like", Justine said.
"The duty of wardens is to protect inmates. We are also your collaborators. That is, if you remain obedient", Caroline said calmly.
"I shall explain the rules of this game and the role of these two on a later date", Igor said before the twins turned around.
So cute..."Now the night seems to be waning... It's almost time", Igor said as he crossed his legs. "Take your time to slowly understand this place. We will surely meet again, eventually...", said Igor before the loud bells rang.
"Time's up", Justine shouted. "Now hurry up and go back to sleep."
Akita then wakes up.
What... Was that? What a strange dream... Ruin... Rehabilitation... What did it mean..."Looks like you're up", Sojiro said while wearing a-
Hipster-
-hat. "Now get ready. We're meating up with the staff of your new school. So get dressed. I'll be waiting downstairs."
Sojiro walked back downstairs and Akita began changing. She put on the white shirt that barely fit because the measurments were taken a while back. And as before the blazar didn't fit...
It's way too tight...So she just left her blazar open again. She put on the skirt with it's suspenders, but they kept on falling to the sides, pressing on her breasts.
Argh... Well it'll have to do.She then put on her leggings and walked downstairs.
"Oh hey. The school you'll be atending is in the Aoyama district. It'll take a while to get there by train. The transfers a real hassel too. I'll drive you there, but just for today. Let's go.
By the time they arrived it was daytime. The school looked gray and bland.
Just like everwhere else...Sojiro turned to Akita. "Do me a favor and behave yourself, allright? Don't get me wrong - I don't care what happens to you. Just don't cause me any trouble."
And so Sojiro and Akita walked into the school and into the principals office. And in the office stood a-
fatman--and a female teacher. And so Sojiro began writing down the information for the contract as Akita looked at the ceiling with her arms behind her back. The female teacher kept staring at her.
"To reidarate, just so we're clear-", Akita looked back down and put her hands to her side. "-you will emedietly be expelled if you cause any trouble. In my humble opinion, you are just a liability, but I had our circumstances to consider. Whatever slu-", the female teacher beside him bumped her shoulder at him. "-things you may have gotten away with back at your hometown... Those days are over. If you get thrown out of our school... there will be nowhere else for you to go to. Keep that in mind."
Says more about you than me...The principal turned to the teacher on his left. "This is the teacher in charge of your class."
"I'm Sadayo Kawakami", said the woman. "Here's your student ID." She put the ID and something else on the table, which she then quickly grabbed before anyone noticed. "Be sure to read the rules, any violation will send you straight to the guidance office. And if by chance you cause trouble, I won't be able to protect you at all. That IS your promise... Right Principal Kobayakawa?"
"Mhm... She's completely responsible for her own actions", the principal replied.
"But really though. Why me? There should've been better candidates."
"It was a sudden transfer and your class was the only one with an opening."
"If you're done explaining thing, mind if we get going? I have a cafe to open", Sojiro said frustrated.
"Sakura-san, please keep a close eye on her. Don't let her get into any trouble outside-"
"Don't worry. I'll have a serious discusion about the situation she's in", Sojiro said, interupting the principal.
"Come to the faculty office when you come to school tomorow. I'll show you to your classroom", Kawakami said.
As Sojiro and Akita walked towards the exit, Sojiro stops.
"Everyone's giving you the cold shoulder. That's what having a criminal record does to you. Turns out your past follows you wherever you go. By the way, if you get expelled now... I won't hesitate to kick you out. Got it?"
"Heh... Don't worry I'll be careful, Sakura-san~", Akita said while smiling.
"Hmph... SIGH... School never changes, huh... C'mon we're going home..."
Heh... He's so easy...
Somewhere at the school...
Two teachers are walking outside and the tall male teacher greets Kawakami.
"What a troublesome situation, huh..."
"I can't believe they pushed someone with a record on me. A male teacher would be better suited for this...", said Kawakami.
"Why would someone like that be admited here?"
"Who knows... It was the principal's decicion. I
was told it was for the school's reputation", Kawakami replied.
"I would've thought my volleyball team has contributed more than enough for that."
"That's certainly true...", said Kawakami.
"Be careful, okay?"
"Then again, if anything were to happen, I'd kick someone like that out tight away."
"I keep wishing she'd just not come to school", said Kawakami. "Still, that's not something I should be saying as her teacher..."
"Well I should be returning to practice now", said the male teacher.
"Oh, right! The tournaments coming up, isn't it."
"Heh, having such high expectationes placed on by others can be a handfull. We'll have to work hard to make up for the track team too!"
"Yes... That's true...", Kawakami said as the male teacher left. "Why did it have to be MY class."
Meanwhile...
"Ugh... Traffic's not moving at all...", Sojiro said as he shook his head at the field of cars ahead of him. "You're taking the train starting tomorrow. So... How was it, the school I mean. Think you can handle it.
"We'll see~", Akita said while giving a small smile.
"... Listen... Agh... Still, you were expelled once already. To think you'd re-enroll at a different one. It's not like anyone will be sympathetic with you. If that's what it was like at school, people might say something about me too in the future...", Sojiro said tired. "What a troublesome kid I've taken in..."
"Why did you take me in?"
"I was asked to do it and I just... happened to agree to it. I've already been paid to do it too, after all."
And today, back to our top stories, said the man in the radio. A subway train has derailed, severly afecting the timetable across all of-"...Another acident? So that's why it's been so crowded. There's been a lot of those recently. In fact... There was a real sad one just a month ago... It happened before you came here. If I remember that girl was just fifteen when she passed away. Her parents are propably just..."
All traffic around Shibuya Station are beign redirected due to the accident, so drivers should expect jam-packed streets."Oh come on...", Sojiro said, letting out one last sigh.
Later that evening...
People are preparing to board the coming train, but the train charges past at top speed, almost derailing itself as it turns.
Inside, the passangers are panicking.
"What's going on?"
"Daddy!"
In the conductors department, the conductor is pushing on the "gas", mouth open, eyes turned white.
And at another turn the train derails right as it arives at the next station, destroying the platform completaly.
It was a news video from a TV in an office, while an old man and a gray haired woman watch it.
"Site directors aparently reported about this six months ago... Deteriorating tracks and ATC. Seems that both the railway company and Ministry of Transport both turned a blind eye to this. There's no way they'll turn a blind eye to this. This will go all the way to the top", the man said. "Hrm... 'Everything is linked', that's what you're thinking, right? ...Ah well. Are you free? We haven't gone for a drink for a while."
"Thank you sir, but I have another meating to atend to", the beutifull Sae said.(I'm a proud simp!) "I must go", Sae said as she bowed and began walking away.
As she walked into a hall there was a brown haired boy with a briefcase waiting.
"So, how did it go", the boy asked. "Did you ask for me? Is it another case?"
"Not quite. I want your opinion on something."
"Sure. Your judgement is often correct though. Can we discuss this over sushi? You are making a student work late after-all", the boy said exitedly.
"Conveyorbelt only", Sae said coldly.
"Aw...", the boy reacted disapointedly.
Meanwhile at Cafe Leblanc...
Sojiro and Akita walk inside.
"Damn. To think there would be so much traffic. What a waste of time. Wasn't even able to open up shop today. ... Whatever...", Sojiro said. "Just go upstairs. There's something I need to give to you. "
They walked upstairs.
"Here's a diary, make sure to keep it up to date. You may be under probation but there's nothing particural you can't do. Besides following the law, of course", Sojiro said as he put a diary on Akita's table. "However, I'm obligated to report on you. Which is why I'm having you keep a diary."
Sudenly Sojiro's phone rings. "Hey, what's up? ...I'm about to leave right now. Don't worry I'll be there in no time. ...U-hu. See ya soon."
He put the phone back into his pocket. "Well I'm off. So do whatever you want for the rest of the night. Oh, and don't mess up my store. If something goes missing, I'll send you straight to the cops. You have school tomorow, so head off to bed already."
And so she was all alone after he went out.
What to do, what to do... What if? Eh, why not...And so Akita began taking off all her clothes, but sudenly the phone begins to ring downstairs.
Damn it...She puts on loosly her school blazer and walks downstairs and answers the phone.
"Hey it's me", ??? said.
"Who", Akita asked, twirling her now free strand of hair with her index finger.
"Sheesh... Have you forgotten my voice already. It's Sakura. Anyway, I closed up shop, but I forgot to flip the sign to 'closed'. It's too much trouble for me to come back now. Think you can do it for me?"
"You called a public phone?"
"Usually I ask for girls' numbers, but I forgot."
"So bold..."
"Just flip it. I'll leave that for you to do."
And so Akita put down the phone, quickly opened the door and flipped sign and ran in, so that no one would see her half naked.
She then left upstairs and laid on the bed with only her underware and school blazer. And so she considered continuing her business.
I'm too tired for that now...Well... Better to check my route tomorow. Looks like I need to transfer from Shibuya... ... More news on the incident. A lot of people got hurt. Propably going to affect tomorrows schedule. And then she saw it...That weird app? It keeps showing up! Time to delete it again, I guess. And so again she dragged into the trash.
Maybe I should reboot my phone just incase. I should sleep, my eyes feel heavy.11/4Good morning dusty attic. Today I start school. And so she gets up. She slept the entire night with her blazer on. She put on her clothes and walked downstairs.
As she walked downstairs she could smell it: coffee and... curry?
"So, you're actually going to school. Well here's breakfeast, just eat it before customers arrive."
"Curry?"
"What's that reaction for? Just eat it."
And so she ate-
The best sh#t I've ever eaten...-and left.
She then asked for directions and found her way to the station.
There's so many people in this tiny cart. So the rumors are true. After a while, she made it to her stop.
It almost felt like someone was about to grope me in there... *SHUDDER*
And after running across the labyrinth of transfer routes, she finally made it to her next train.
Meanwhile at Cafe Leblanc...
"Oh man... Did it say it was going to rain", said a male customer.
"Wait... It's raining outside", Sojiro asked worried.
"Yeah... It just started all of a sudden. This is why I hate early spring."
"Did she take an umbrella", Sojiro mutterd.
"Hmm... What did you say?"
"Don't mind me... So... What will it be?"
"One houseblend please."
With the way she's dressed... I hope she's okay...
Back with our protagonist...
Finally! It felt so stuffy in there...And as she walked outside...
Oh no! It's raining! She looked at her chest. It would get completaly socked.
Time to button up! Ungh... So... Tight...And so she had to button up her blazer and ran under the closest roof. As she stood there she tried to dry her hair. And then her phone buzzed... It was the app again...
What the hell? And as she looked at her phone in confusion someone walked beside her. Akita looked, it was a gorgeus blond girl. She looked at her for a while. And she looked too. They both then looked away.
And then someones car came over to them. The windows rolled down, revealing, in Akita's view, a fit man wearing a blue tracksuit.
"Good morning! Want me to give you a ride to school. You're going to be late."
"Um, sure. Thank you", said the blond.
The man looked over and saw Akita, looking at her up and down.
"Hey! You need a ride too?"
"N-No I'm good."
"Allright", the man said as he drove off with the girl. But she didn't look too happy about it..
And then another blond, this time a boy, came running after the car.
"Damn that pervy teacher!"
"...Pervy, teacher?"
beep"What do you want... Aren't you part of Kamoshidas harem?"
"Kamoshida?"
"Huh? In that car right now. That was Kamoshida. He thinks he's the king of his own castle-" beep "-he does whatever the hell he pleases. But you propably disagree."
"King of the castle?"
"N-No I mean... ... Wait, you don't know Kamoshida? Are you for real. You're from Shujin, right?"
"Think so..."
"... You messin' with me? You're wearing a Shujin uniform. A second-year, huh? We're in the same grade. Never seen you before though... Wait, are you a transfer student. No wonder you don't know 'em", the boy said as he checked the sky. "The rain ain't too bad. We should hurry or we'll be late-", the boy stopped as he looked at how Akita had unbuttoned her blazer.
"Holy, damn...", he said before Akita looked at him. "COUGH S-So let's get going", he said as he began walking towards the school.
"What were you looking at exactly", Akita asked with a hint of smugnes.
"N-Nothing!"
"Oh my... So bold..."
"A-Anyway! I know a route. Let me be your navigator."
And so we return, to the present...
"There was a terrible subway incident that day. You remember it, don't you? I assume you know of the public uproar known as the 'psychotic breakdown incidents'", Sae asked.
"Maybe", Akita responded.
You say that like it's none of your business. It was all over the news and one of the victims was a teacher at your school. You propably heard about it. On that day, were you still an ordinary student?"
"... Let me change the question... You transfered to Shujin academy correct? An ordinary prep school that could be found in any city. That's how it should have been. What happened around that time? Tell me everything, truthfully."
11/4
Beep, beep!A turn around a corner, and everything changed. Akita walked over a puddle, but there was no end to the splash.
"What tha-!", the boy yelled. Akita went after him, but she didn't see a school but a castle.
