Chapter 2: Meeting the Silver Eyed Huntress
Yami Sukihero let out a huff of smoke from his cigarette and sighed a bit as he looked at the same red and black haired girl that was currently laying down in one of the couches inside of the black bulls hideout. The magic knight captain then looked at Asta and Noelle the ones that had found the girl and he had to make sure if he got the gist on how he found this mysterious girl.
"So let me get this straight, you two were busy training outside our base and then suddenly that giant scythe appeared out of the sky and was heading straight at you kid, and then you deflected it with your sword. Then you managed to sense somebody's ki which turned out it belonged to this girl and you and Noelle went into the forest and that was when you found this girl and brought her to our base" Yami said as he summarized from what Asta and Noelle told her.
"Yeah you pretty much got the gist of it captain Yami" Asta said as he rubbed his head a bit.
"My question is how did a cutie like her, ended up in the forest in the first place?" Vanessa said.
"Hey since that scythe of hers belongs to her I wonder if she strong, if so I want to fight her!" Luck said.
"Of course you do, you battle maniac" Magna said to his rival and best friend.
"So what should we do with her Yami?" Finral asked his captain.
"I say we throw her out to the wolves, that way I can get back to admiring my darling little angle" Gauche said as he looked at a picture of his sister Marie.
"No way, we are not doing that!" Noelle yelled causing Yami to sigh.
"Well first things first when she wakes up I'm going to ask her a couple of questions, great and this coming right after we are trying to find some clues on the devils, this is a real pain in the ass, but it looks like we have don't have a choice in a matter" Yami said.
After the Black Bulls captain said that the girls eyes shot up wide open and she gasp a bit and she quickly sat up from the couch and took deep breathes.
"Hey your awake , are you alright?" Asta asked causing the girl to look at him and then at some of the black bulls that was around her and the base.
"What's going on where am I-" the girl started to say but Luck quickly got in front of her invading her personal.
"Hi I'm Luck are you strong?, do you want to have a fight right now, I bet that would be a lot of fun right!" the blonde haired boy said to the girl.
"Uhhhhh..." the girl had a confuse and trouble look on her face as if she was caught off guard by Luck getting close to her and asking her to basically fight him.
"Hey" Yami said as he grab Luck by the head and had the blonde haired boy turn and face him.
"Will you quit trying to scare our little guest here, she doesn't want to deal with your battle loving crazy ass" Yami said.
"Wow he's pretty scary" the girl thought.
"It's ok your in our hideout, my friend and I found you laying unconscious out in the forest" Asta said as gestured towards to him and Noelle.
"I was wondering if you can tell us what happend about how you ended up in the forest in the first place" Asta continue saying to the girl.
The girl looked at Asta and gasp a bit "that's right I fell into the void and Neo was trying to kill me oh no Yang, Blake are the others ok!!,oh no!" the girl said.
"Easy honey everything is going to be ok just relax your safe now" Vanessa said as she gave the girl a smile and it was that reassuring smile that made the girl calm down a bit.
"Alright now that you calmed down, you mind giving us your name kid?" Yami asked the girl as he took another puff from her cigarette.
"Oh right I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose nice to meet all of you hehe" the girl now known as Ruby said.
"Wow! what a cute name for such a cute beauty such as yourself I- no stop Finral your heart along belongs to Finesse!" Finral said as he slap himself.
"Uh...is he ok?" Ruby ask.
"Don't mind him Ruby anyway it's nice to meet you I'm Noelle" Noelle said to the silver eyed girl.
"Hi I'm Asta it's nice to officially meet you Ruby" Asta said as he smiled at Ruby.
"Hi I'm Luck you got some pretty eyes and you look strong do you-" Luck started to say but Yami grabbed him again.
"Luck ask her that again and your dead-" Yami said to the lightning mage while at the same time Ruby at to fight back at blushing since Luck complimented on how pretty her eyes was.
"Gauche and this in the picture is my darling little sister Marie isn't she just the cutest" Gauche said as he showed the picture to Ruby.
"Yeah uh...she is pretty cute" Ruby said while thinking that this guy might be more overprotective then her own sister Yang.
"I'm Vanessa it's nice to meet such a cute girl like yourself Ruby" Vanessa said as she winked at Ruby while at the same time taking a sip of wine from the bottle.
"I'm Magna awesome to meet you Ruby" Magna said.
"I guess last but not least I'm Yami I'm in charge of these knuckleheads we have other members of our squad but they are out right now so then Ruby now that we have the introductions out of the way, you mind explaining to us how you and your weapon just appeared out of nowhere like a ghost" Yami said as he took another puff from his cigarette and let out some smoke.
Ruby looked down a bit she has no idea where she was and what happened to the ones that fell through the void not to mention she is worried about the group that made it to Vacuo and the fact that Cinder has gotten both of the relics and there no doubt in her mind that Cinder has brought both of the relics to Salem by now which isn't good. Ruby needs to find a way to hopefully find the others so that they could go home and join Oscar and the others in Vacuo so that they can try to stop Salem from attacking Vacuo next.
She then looked at the Black Bulls at first she thought they were a little strange and quirky but Ruby could tell they were good people so maybe they could help her with her situation right now and she doesn't know how but she can sense something coming from each of them expect for Asta for some reason.
"OK, first of all Asta and Noelle thank you for helping me out I really appreciate it now then uh this is going to be a long and crazy story and you might not believe me-" Ruby started to say but Yami interrupted her.
"Kid trust us we have seen our plenty of crazy things especially with what happen recently" Yami said.
Ruby wondered what Yami meant by that but she still went and tried to tell the Black Bulls everything.
"Ok um well I guess I can start from the beginning" Ruby said.
So Ruby went and told them everything about how she used to go to Beacon to train to be a huntress until Cinder attacked Beacon and how it fell to going to Mistral and prevent it from having the same fate as Beacon to wind up saving Mistral and telling them about the relics and their journey to Atlas the truth about Ozpin and Salem and to recently what happen to their time in Atlas and if safe to say the Black Bulls were shocked and they couldn't help but feel bad for Ruby and what she had to go through.
"Wow Ruby I had no idea you and your friends had to go through this" Asta said as he felt bad for Ruby that she had to take on a powerful threat like Salem
"Considering the options you really did the best you could do in the end you did save a lot of people" Noelle said causing Ruby to sigh a bit.
"Yeah but I feel like a part of this was my fault if I didn't lie to Ironwood then he probably would have not turned against us like that we betrayed the faith and turst he had of us" Ruby said.
"Well at least you have own up to your mistakes kid but that Ironwood guy sounds like he was pretty stubborn regarding that his decisions were the best ones" Yami said.
"But hold on guys there still one problem here I haven't heard about Atlas Mistral or any of the other places Ruby was talking about" Magna said.
"Magna has a point on this continent only the spade clover heart and diamond kingdom exists" Finral said.
"True and I haven't heard of any of these places either" Yami said.
Ruby widen her eyes in shock after hearing this revelation how could they have not heard of Atlas or Mistral or any of the other kingdoms and when she heard them talk about the clover spade heart and diamond kingdom she was pretty confuse since she haven't heard of any of those type of kingdoms before. Was she really still on Remnant?.
"Well then this might sound crazy but the only option I could guess is that either little red here is from a continent that we haven't discovered yet or she probably from some other world" Yami said.
"A-another world no...is this what Ambrosius meant by saying don't fall, all of us got transported to another world" Ruby said as she couldn't wrap her head around it.
"But that's actually a good thing right if you were somehow transported here to our world, that means that your friends are here as well" Asta said as he smiled at Ruby.
"Yeah but did you forget,that Neo chick that tried to kill Ruby is still out there somewhere" Noelle said.
"Neo" Ruby said she still has no idea why the short pink and brown haired woman wants to kill her so bad is it because of what happened with Torchwhick maybe she thinks Ruby was the one who killed Torchwhick even though that wasn't the case. Ruby would like to explain her side of the story to Neo but the question is would Neo be able to listen to her side of the story.
"Well this might be even more crazy then the elf incident still though we got to take this situation one step at a time" Yami said.
"So I take it that you have a plan captain?" Vanessa asked her captain.
"Well first things first I'm going to have to go to HQ and need to explain the situation to Julius if I know him he might have some solutions on how to help our little red hooded friend here" Yami said.
"Yeah if there anybody that can help Ruby then it would surely be the wizard king" Asta said.
"Wizard King?" Ruby said as she had a confuse look on her face.
"He strongest mage in the clover kingdom, the kingdom that we reside in right now he basically is the leader of the magic knights which is what we are" Noelle explained.
"Oh I see so he pretty much leads you guys's military and magic knights...wait can you guys really use magic?" Ruby asked.
"Yep all of us can use magic expect Asta of course" Luck said.
"Really you can't use magic Asta?" Ruby asked the boy who can use anti magic.
"Yeah actually I was born without any magic at all so to deal with that I pretty much trained everyday so that hopefully I can be a magic knight and become the wizard king until one day thanks to the grimiore I'm carrying I'm able to use anti magic" Asta said.
"Anti Magic so you can negate magic?" Ruby asked if that was the case Asta could be the key in dealing with Cinder and Saelm.
"Yeah pretty much it's thanks to this power that I'm able to fight with and against some amazing and powerful warriors and be able to achieve my dream" Asta said with a big smile on his face.
Ruby smiled she could see that her and Asta were similar in making their dreams comes true and never giving up and not to mention Asta was a good guy she knows that they would get along greatly with each other.
"Well Asta you have my support I know your going to do a great job in being the wizard king" Ruby said to her new friend.
"Thanks Ruby" Asta said.
"All right with that settle Finral I'm going to need you here" Yami said causing Finral to sigh a bit.
"Yeah I had a feeling you would say that" Finral said as he walked and he created a white portal that lead to the magic knight headquarters.
Ruby silver eyes brighten up as she saw Finral spatial magic "wow that's so cool what kind of magic is that?" she asked.
"Spatial magic if you want the simple terms I can pretty much manipulate space" Finral said.
"Wow that's awesome so what are you going to do?" Ruby asked.
"Well I was going to go to HQ and explain your situation to the wizard king maybe he might have some answers that could help you guys out, he is pretty smart guy after all" Yami said "or kid now" he thought.
"But wait shouldn't I go with you and help explain the situation?" Ruby asked.
"Nah we got this besides you just went through some pretty crazy stuff, take this time to relax a bit maybe the others could give you a tour of our base or something but overall just relax kid and leave this us ok" Yami said as he gave Ruby a reassuring smile.
Ruby smiled there was something about Yami that puts her mind at ease like everything was going to be ok maybe things were looking up for her thanks to these magic knights.
"Ok thank you Mr. Yami" Ruby said.
"Yami or captain Yami is just fine kid Finral!" Yami said.
"Yeah I know" Finral said as he and Yami went inside of the portal making their way to the magic knight HQ and once they went inside the portal, the portal disappeared.
"So uh um what now?" Ruby asked.
"Like captain Yami said we can give you a tour on our base and you might be able to meet our other members" Asta said.
"Maybe after the tour we can fight each other!' Luck said.
"He really likes fighting" Ruby thought for some reason she could sense that Luck was pretty strong but she has no idea why.
"Luck Ruby doesn't-" Noelle started to say but Ruby interrupted her.
"Actually I wouldn't mind fighting you Luck I need to see how you guys use your magic compared to a maiden also I see this as a chance on how I can use this as a to counter and fight against Cinder and Salem" Ruby said.
"Yes! this is going to be fun!" Luck said.
"Alright then before that lets show you our base" Asta said.
Ruby nodded and stood up from the couch "well then Asta lead the way" Ruby said as she walked and followed Asta and Noelle but at the same time Ruby smiled to herself thinking that things were looking up for her and that they might have found some help in trying to get home with the magic knights and finish their mission and if possible they could try to recruit them in helping them fight Salem and her forces.
But at the same time Ruby was worried she was hoping that Yang and Blake were ok somewhere in this world as well.
We go to earlier in the morning Yang slowly opened her eyes "ugh wear am I?" the blonde haired huntress said as she grabbed her head she looked and she saw that she was in a forest somehow was she dead...no she is still breathing and the huge headache she was having means she was still alive but the question remains where exactly is she at right now.
"Oh good looks like your finally awake" Yang sat up and to try to see who said that and what she saw was an interesting site. Yang saw that a huge fire was being set and she saw that a giant boar was being cooked and sitting towards her right was a woman who had long orange haired and blue eyes and she was weaing a white tunic that was covered by a long dark blue shirt with long sleeves and a high collar along with a purple slash around her waist and white pants. Yang noticed she was wearing a red like cape as well. But Yang she could sense that this woman is dangerous and means serious business.
"It's not often I get to see a person fall out of the sky like that, now girl your going to have to explain everything to me about who you are and why you just fell out of the sky like that" Mereoleona said as she gave Yang a grinned that give just about anybody nightmares.
A/N: Hello how everybody doing I hope you guys enjoy the second chapter of Black Rose for this chapter we have Ruby basically meeting some of the Black Bulls and explaining her current situation with the Black Bulls and Yami telling that they are going to help her and try to find Yang and Blake and hopefully find a way to get them home. Remember Ruby has no idea that Weiss and Jaune fell through the void so she probably going to be surprised to see them. Also I hope you can guys can catch the foreshadowing about whats going on with Ruby anyway next chapter we are going to Yang side and her official meaning with the lioness herself Mereoleona how will that meeting go well your going to have to find out in the next chapter.
