Chapter 3: The Lioness and the Dragon
Yang really doesn't have any idea what's going on the first thing that happened to her was that she protected Ruby by taking Neo's little sneak attack head on. Which pretty much resulted in her falling through the void and the next thing she knew she woke up and was currently in some kind forest waking up to this fiery orange haired woman, who was currently roasting a pig and was demanding who she was and where she came come. In Yang's experience in recently fighting in the war against Salem this wasn't the craziest thing she has experience.
"Where am I?" Yang asked the woman.
"I'm asking the questions here girl did you not hear what I just asked you" the woman said.
"Well sorry, I just want to know where I am if you must know I kind of had a crappy experience recently" Yang said annoyed with the woman attitude a bit.
"Really now would that happened with you falling out of the sky late last night" the woman said shocking Yang.
"What falling out of the sky?" Yang said as she had a look of confusion on his face.
The woman sighed a bit and rubbed her head "last night while I was taking a soak in the hot springs in the ultime-volcano mountain trail I saw you flying right out of the sky and crash landed near where I was and when I went to check out the crash there you was unconscious" the woman said as she put out the fire and once she did she ripped a piece of meat from the boar and ate it.
"Really so you took care of me after I crash huh...thanks I owe you one" Yang said to the woman.
The woman only scoff and said "I don't want your thanks girl I want answers and if you won't answers I'm just going to have to beat it out of you" the woman said as she put her right fist in front of Yang and wrapped it around with fire.
"What the fire" Yang thought as she was surprised to see the woman creating fire she wonders if she was using a semblance but at the same time this feeling it was similar to how Cinder had used her maiden powers. However Yang narrowed her eyes as her eyes turned red.
"Is that a threat" Yang said.
"It is and I suggest you answer my question or else you could be my nice morning warm up" the woman said as she created a firey aura around herself shocking and scaring Yang a bit.
"What with this chick...I can sense her overwhelming power!" Yang said as she felt her arms shaking but she breathed and calmed down a bit.
"No, Yang calm down you can't be afraid don't let her imitate you" Yang thought.
A part her, maybe her old self would want to fight this chick and sure she gotten stronger and wiser in the past two years. But she learned when and where to choose her battles especially when she is looking at by her definition a literal monster. She might be just as scared of her then even Salem herself and that was saying something.
Yang calmed down and sighed as she realized the situation she was in, right now she has no idea where she was, not to mention she fell through the void. So she has no idea what's going on with Ruby and the others. Were they alright were they able to stop Cinder and protect the relics and were they able to bring the people of Atlas to Vacuo.
There was a lot of things she wants to know and do but she fell through the void and has no idea where she is, so as much as she hate to admit it this woman is really her only lead at the moment.
Yang sighed "alright but I should warn you it's a long and complicated story" Yang said to the woman.
The woman laughed "kid let me tell you something in all my years as a mage I've seen some pretty crazy and interesting stuff" the woman said causing Yang to chuckle a bit.
"I'll take your word for it ok where should I-" Yang started to say but a loud growl was heard and she knew what it was and she blushed heavily.
"Haha normally I don't share my food with anyone and I would probably make you hunt your own food but I'll make an exception go on dig in" the woman said as she grinned at Yang.
"Well I guess I am a bit hungry" Yang said she also realized that she hasn't really eaten anything at all for the last day or so since she pretty much spent her time trying to help the people of Mantle, try to rescue Oscar and help evacuate entire kingdom of Atlas to try to get them to Vacuo. So with that the young blonde huntress had grabbed a peace of the pork and started eating it while trying to explain to the woman pretty much about everything with the war against Salem.
So Yang did she explained everything about who she was and what she did and how Beacon fell because of Cinder and that she was working for Salem who control the grimm not to mention what happen at Mistral, and their journey to Atlas and them learning about the relics and the gods and she even explained about what happened to Atlas. Yang must have guest that a couple of hours has passed while explaining her story to the woman and surprisingly she didn't interrupt Yang and was calmly listening to her entire story.
"So that's pretty much it" Yang said to the woman.
"I have that's some tale girl I can tell you been through a lot but I have to say you being trained and having to fight these Grimm sounds like a lot of fun and I want to have a chance to fight this Salem myself and this Cinder bitch" the woman said with a grin on her face.
"Are you serious you still want to fight Salem even if she is immortal?" Yang gasp in shock thinking is the woman insane.
"Of course I do and if she regenerates I'll just keep killing her until their is nothing left I see it as a challenge to kill a unkillable mage sounds exciting" the woman said.
Yang was surprised she can tell by her look that she wasn't scared at all, if she were to fight Salem she would charge first hand without asking any questions this woman she was the exact opposite of her mother, while Raven was all in all a coward this woman was brave and confident in her own power. Yang likes to think she was a confident person but even she admits she has her doubts and fears like a normal human but this woman she doesn't have anything of those doubts it's like she wild and ferocious animal.
"You sure are confident in yourself I wish I could be as fearless as you" Yang said as she sighed a bit.
"It's ok to have some fear girl, but it's how you overcome your fear that matters you must have the mindset that you can defeat and destroy anything in your way no matter what and if you can't then you just have to get stronger until you can" the woman said to Yang.
Yang didn't expect that type of advice from the woman she thought she was all brawns and no brains but "huh I guess there more to her then meets the eye" Yang thought.
"Now then to our current issue with you, those places you mentioned along with the planet called Remnant I haven't heard of any of those places before" the woman said.
Yang widen her eyes in shock "wait your joking right, you haven't heard of Atlas, Vale or Vacuo?" Yang asked the woman.
"Does it look like I'm joking girl, I haven't heard of any of those places before here on this continent four kingdom resides here the clover, spade, heart and diamond kingdom" the woman said.
"This isn't good" Yang thought she began to go back to what Ambrosuis said before they made their plan in transporting the people of Altas to Vacuo him warning them about not falling was this the result of it her being sent to a different world altogether.
"Damn it now what do I do, somehow I got sent to a different world and I have no idea what happened to Ruby and the others and if they managed to stop Cinder, protected the relics and saved most of the people of Atlas!" Yang said in frustration.
"A different world huh I guess that makes sense since you fell out of the sky, but shouldn't worry girl" the woman said as she stood up.
"How!, in case you haven't noticed I'm in a different world all together separated from my friends and sister!" Yang said.
"And, what will all your complaining do instead of whining get up and do something about it, how about this I can contact Julius first and explain the situation to him and maybe after a few days I can get you to the clover kingdom and have you meet with him" the woman said while at the same time Yang stood up as well.
"Ok, well that's a start so who is this Julius guy?" Yang asked the woman.
"He's the wizard king the strongest mage we have in the clover kingdom, he basically leads all of the magic knight squads" the woman simply said although as of right now Julius was not the strongest mage in the clover kingdom right down due to what he did in order to survive against the battle with the leader of the eye of the midnight sun.
Yang was confused a bit when she mentions the magic knights she did mention about Cinder and Salem being mages but she didn't think about it too much.
"Ok sounds like he your boss or leader can he really help me try to get back to my world?" Yang asked.
"If anyone can help you with your problem it's definitely him, Julius is pretty much a nerd for these kinds of things" the woman blunty stated.
"Really then what are we waiting for lets go see him right now" Yang said.
"Hold on a minute girl, we're not going back to the clover kingdom just yet remember what I said we are going to get some training done" the woman said.
"Are you serious I don't have time for training my-" Yang said but the woman interrupted her.
"Don't you want to become stronger?" the woman asked.
"What?" Yang said in a surprised tone.
"I said that don't you want to become stronger, this is your chance to get stronger a chance to put those fools who had terrorized your home in their places besides you should have more faith in your friends and your sister they are strong enough to take care of themselves am I right" the woman said.
Yang listen to the woman's words she really wants to go back to her world and help her friends and make sure they are safe, hell her uncle, Qrow was probably devastated due to the fact that he might think she was dead. But as much as she hated to admit it as of right now she wasn't strong enough to fight against powerful figures like Cinder and Salem she needed to get stronger and for some reason Yang can sense how powerful this woman was, and she knew that this woman can help her and teach her to get stronger way stronger.
"Alright I'll do it teach me everything you know, so I can get stronger" Yang said.
The woman smiled "that's what I like to hear".
"But I should warn you I'm a pretty troublesome student" Yang said with a smirk on her face causing the woman to snort a bit.
"Then I suppose I have to make your life a living hell girl" the woman said.
"You know I have a name you know you can't keep just calling me girl" Yang said.
"Hmph well maybe I'll call you by your name if you can land a hit on me as we train with each other, but regardless tell me your name girl?" the woman said as she had a smirk on her face.
Yang just smirked right back "I'm Yang Xiao Long and don't you forget it so can you tell me your name teach" Yang said to the woman.
"I'm Mereoleona Vermilllion, remember that name Yang" the woman now known as Mereoleona said to Yang.
"Wow that's a bit of a handful teach you mind if I call you Leona instead it's simple and easy to recognize" Yang said causing Mereoleona to sigh.
"Well at least it's better then that stupid nickname Yami gave me" Mereoleona said as she turned around.
"Come I know a place where we can train a bit while we are there I'll contact Julius and tell him about your situation" Mereoleona said as she started to walk away.
"Right" Yang said as she followed Mereoleona she was wondering if somehow during the battle against Cinder if the others fell through the void as well if so then it's possible they could be in this world as well. But she can't worry about that right now first things first she is going to get stronger with Mereoleona training and once she gets stronger she going to put that bitch Neo, Cinder Salem and whoever she has under them in her place.
"Just hang on guys, I'm going to come back home soon and it will be with a vengeance" Yang said said with a determined look on her face as she clinch her fist.
Meanwhile during the same time Yang was with Mereoleona and Ruby was with the black bulls we go to the silver eagles base and currently Nebra was looking after the girl that was lying in the bed in the infirmary room. The doctors had checked on her and discarded her of her clothes to check to see if she had any serious injuries. Expect for some few minor burises which somehow healed a bit on her own she was completely fine the doctors didn't know how she healed up like that. It was almost like she had used her mana to heal herself but it wasn't mana. If magic didn't heal her then what did.
The girl was currently laying down in a bed still unconscious and Nebra couldn't help but frown a bit.
The girl look so much like Noelle a bit she wondered if this girl was a long lost sibling even if she knew that wasn't the case.
"Noelle she gotten so strong and her armor she almost fights just like mother did" Nebra said she honestly doesn't know what to think after she Noelle battle and defeated that elf. Like if they saw each other again what should she say, she had mistreated Noelle so much that she doesn't know how to have pleasant conversation with her or thank her for saving her and Solid and Nozel.
Nebra sighed a bit "I guess I have been a terrible big sister to you, Noelle" Nebra said she heard the infirmary room door open and she looked and saw that Nozel had entered the room.
"Big brother Nozel" Nebera said as she looked at her older brother.
"She still hasn't woken up, Nebera?" Nozel said.
Before Nebra could answer the two siblings her a groaning sound and the two siblings went up to the white haired girl and they saw her open her eyes which was bright blue.
"Wha...what's going on where am I?" the girl said as she sat up a bit "ow my head" she said as she grabbed her head.
"So your finally awake" Nozel said causing the white haired girl to look at them, after the medical team took off her clothes to look to see if she had any injuries,' they put on some clothes on for her which was a simple white t-shirt and white shorts.
"Who...who are you people?" the girl said in a confuse but Nozel could tell she had her guard up a bit.
Nozel didn't answer her "I have questions for you, the first being why did you fell out of the sky and crash landed into our base" Nozel said as he glared a bit questioning the girl to see if weather if she was a threat or not.
A/N: So we have Yang meet Mereoleona and it was a spicy meeting from the start after talking a bit Yang had decided to get some training from the lioness herself while vowing to get stronger so that she could reunite with her friends and loved ones. At the same time Weiss has woken up and has met two of the Silva siblings in Nozel and Nebra how will their meeting go and how will she react in being in a new world well, your going to have to read the next chapter to find out.
