Yuno I have to say your base is pretty amazing, you and your squad pretty much has everything here" Jaune said to the teen that was chosen by the four leaf clover grimiore.
After Yuno showed Jaune the sleeping quarters the talented mage for Hage village had went ahead and gave Jaune a tour of the rest of their base. It was amazing to Jaune it seemed like the base has all the tools you need in order to be a great magic knight.
It reminded him of his time at Beacon back when he was a student training to be a huntsman. But the difference here is that you are already in a squad and magic knight and you can already go on missions.
As of right now Jaune and Yuno were currently sitting down on a bench at the outside area of the base. The two decided to sit and talk for a bit until Langris and William returns from seeing lord Julius.
"Hey Yuno, I know about the wizard king and the magic knight squads, but how exactly do you become a magic knight?" Jaune asked.
Yuno didnt say anything at first "well for the most part you have to take the magic knight entrance exams" Yuno replied.
"Really so you guys got to do exams too huh I guess no matter what world their are some things that are the same, so what did you guys have to do" Jaune asked.
"Well we just had to some simple tasks using our magic, like creating something shooting our magic through a wall we even got to do a combat test" Yuno explained.
"Really I bet you passed it with flying colors Yuno, I can sense how strong you are you must have trained really hard to get where your at" Jaune said.
Yuno nodded "thats true I have to train to get where Im at and the exams were no problem at all in fact all of the magic knight captains wanted me on their squad"
"Woah really that's amazing Yuno but if you dont mind me asking why choose the golden dawn?" Jaune asked.
"Because the golden dawn is the best squad in the clover kingdom, it was the best path for me to achieve my goals in becoming the wizard king" Yuno said.
"You want to be the wizard king, Yuno thats pretty awesome Yuno I guess we both have lofty goals huh" Jaune said as he laughed a bit.
"I guess so...but Jaune haven't you already competed your goal you are a huntsman now when you told us everything about you and your situation" Yuno calmly said to the older teen.
Jaune sighed as he looked down "yeah you can say that I did and looking back I guess I wasn't as excited as I would have liked to be probably because I didnt really go through the regular in being a huntsman like finishing school"Jaune said.
Yuno didnt say anything at first absorbing what Jaune just said into his brain.
"You shouldn't feel that way, dont forget your fighting aganist a immortal witch that wants to destroy your world, you are risking your life to protect the people in your world and those you care about you earned the title of being a huntsman Jaune dont let anybody tell you otherwise" Yuno calmly said.
Jaune then looked at Yuno in awe a bit and he was touched that Yuno believed in his strength and that he worked and earned in being the man he was today.
"Thanks Yuno you really cheered me up,now I'm determined to get stronger and beat Cinder and Salem for good" Jaune said as he had a determined look on his face.
Yuno looked at Jaune and a image of Asta smiling appeared in his head.
Yuno smiled to himself "I found someone that's like you...Asta" Yuno said thinking about his adopted brother and rival.
Before Yuno could go deeper into his thoughts. Both Yuno and Jaune both saw two indivuals approaching them.
One of them was a girl who had long wavy vermillion hair with bangs on her head. She was also wearing a brown corset that was tied in strings. She was wearing brown boots and a red cape like mantle.Like Yuno and the other guy she was wearing the short golden dawn robes over her shoulders.
Jaune would have to admit the girl was really beauitful and well...developed if he had to guess she looked a few years younger them him. She looked to be around Ruby's age or maybe a year younger.
The other one was a tall male he was wearing the same uniform as Yuno. he had short blue hair that was pushed to the sides and back and having a fringe on the left side he was also wearing glasses.
To Jaune he looked to be around his age about 19 or maybe 18.
"Hey Yuno who is this with you?" the girl asked.
"Indeed I never seen him around him before?" the boy said.
"Oh right, Klaus, Mimosa this is Jaune I actually saved him earlier today as he was falling from the sky" Yuno blunty said.
"Falling from the sky what do you mean did he loose control of his broom?" Klaus asked.
"Really oh no I hope your alright" Mimosa said to Jaune.
"Oh no I'm fine luckily Yuno was right their when he saved me" Jaune said as he laughed a bit.
"But I'm a bit confused why were you falling from the sky in the first place did you fell off your broom?" Klaus asked.
"Wait you can fly using a broom" Jaune thought. He didnt say it out loud because that wasn't important at the moment.
"Well no but its a bit of a long story" Jaune said.
Yuno then gave a brief version about Jaune situation and how he ended up here and Klaus and Mimosa were shocked to say the least.
"Jaune I'm so sorry you had to go through so much I can't imagine any of us would fight an immortal being like Salem" Mimosa said.
"I agree but to think you actually come from another world, a world where you dont use magic thats interesting to say the least" Klaus said the old him would have been in shock and disbelief if he heard of a world without magic.
But due to seeing Asta in action Klaus learned their are many ways to fight and survive then using magic.
"In any case Jaune its nice to meet you, while your here in our world if you need anything just ask" Mimosa said as she smiled at Jaune.
"Thanks, Mimosa right I defintely do that in fact since we are waiting for captain Vangence to come back mind explaining me more in detail about your kingdom and whats a grimiore" Jaune said.
After that Mimosa and Klaus explain everything about the clover kingdom and what a grimiore is and Jaune found that it was pretty cool that he could use a lot of powerful spells if he trains and grow stronger.
He also learned about the clover kingdom having royal and nobal families and the golden dawn had members that was in those families and Mimosa was a part of the vermillion househould.
Jaune also learned that their was commoners and peasants those that live on the ourskirts of the kingdom that has decent to little magic power.
Jaune didnt like that at all top him it reminded him of Atlas and Mantle. On how the people of Atlas looked down at the people of Mantle and Ironwood attempting to abandon the people of Mantle while he tried to lift Atlas further in the air to escape from Salem.
"I guess no matter what world their inequality everywhere" Jaune thought.
Mimosa Yuno Klaus Jaune continued to talk for a couple of hours so much until it was near sunset and they saw a spatial portal opened up and they saw William and Langris coming out of the portal.
"Captain Vangence, Vice Captain Langris" Klaus said as he Yuno, Mimosa and Jaune went down to one knee after that William told the group they can stand up.
"Captain how did the meeting go were you able to locate and find my friends?" Jaune asked as he was worried about Ruby and the others.
William gave Jaune a small smile and Jaune felt a little bit at ease once he saw the look William gave him.
"Yes at the meeting I learned that most of your friends are here in the clover kingdom. Ruby is with the black bulls, Weiss is with the silver eagles and Yang is currently with Mereoleona but they are on their way back to the clover kingdom right now" William replied.
Jaune is relived "thats great I'm glad that mostly everybody is ok hold on what about Blake" Jaune asked.
"Unfortunely we can confirm Blake or Neopolitan is not with any of the magic knight squads which means they could be most likely somewhere outside of the clover kingdom altogether.
"I see well I'm sure Blake is fine but Neo she could be a problem" Jaune said.
"I concour we will do everything we can find Blake and Neopolitan, but Jaune I also have some good news for you as well this could benefit you as well" William said to the blonde haired teen.
"What would that be if you dont mind me asking sir?" Jaune asked raising his eyebrow a bit giving William a bit of a look of confusion on his face.
"Lord Julius suggested since that you and your friends might be here for awhile. You and your friends can use this opprunity to stay here and become magic knights" William said.
"Wait do you actually mean-" Jaune said shocked at what William was actually implying.
"I do Jaune how would like to be a part of the golden dawn and stand with us in protecting not just the clover kingdom but your world as well" William said.
Jaune didnt know what to say he only knew some of the golden dawn members for only day and here William is offering him to get stronger by being a magic knight and when they are ready to go home they would have a chance to beat Salem for good.
"They are giving me a chance, a chance to finally do something and become a hero" Jaune thought.
Jaune bowed "captain Vangence I really dont know what else to say sir but thank you, I wont waste this opprunity you given me" Jaune said as be have William along with Yuno Mimosa Klaus and Langris a determined look.
"I swear to you all I wont let any of you down and I will get stronger not only as a huntsman but as a member of the golden dawn" Jaune said.
Everyone smiled even Langris had a little bit of a smirk on his face.
"I know you will Jaune, I know you haven't eaten anything all day why don't we introduce you to everyone else and have dinner together" William said.
"Yes sir that sounds like a plan" Jaune said.
After that the group started to walk to the dining area and Jaune was walking with Yuno.
"Hey Yuno" Jaune said causing Yuno to look at him.
"You said that you would help me deal with Cinder and Salem, I appericate that just know Im going to do everything I can to help you become the wizard king" Jaune said.
Yuno was surpised but he could only smile a bit.
"Thanks Jaune" Yuno said to his new found squadmate and friend.Yuno has a feeling that things are going to be interesting here with Jaune around.
Asta yawned it was the middle of the knight and currently the anti magic boy was on his way back into his room after using the restroom he then looked out the window and he saw that Ruby was standing outside by herself.
"Huh is that Ruby whats she doing out by herself" Asta said.
Meanwhile with Ruby the newest member of the black bulls was busy looking up at the full moon. So many thoughts are racing in her head but for the first time in well months she finally felt hopeful again.
"Hey Ruby" Ruby turned around and she looked and saw that it was Asta behind her. Ruby saw that her new friend and squadmate was behind her.
"Oh Asta hey what's up is something wrong?" Ruby asked as Asta went and stood next to her.
"I was just going to ask you that, you couldnt sleep" Asta said to the silver eyed girl.
"No I guess I have a lot on my mind so far...you know its wierd that I get to see a full moon that isnt all broken up" Ruby said as she couldnt help but laugh a bit at that statement.
"Oh thats right you said that the god of darkness from your world was the reason your moon back in your world is like that...that's actually insane he has to be crazy strong to do that!" Asta said.
"Yeah and don't forget that he was the one that wiped out the first wave of humanity as well" Ruby sighed.
"Ruby whats wrong I can tell by your Ki your a bit overwhelmed and upset" Asta said.
Ruby wanted to tell Asta that she was fine and nothing was wrong at all. But she knew that Asta wouldn't buy it since he could tell something was wrong with her.
"I'm just-I'm just questioning myself that can I actually be a huntress can I actually be a hero and save my world" Ruby said.
"Really but why would you dobut yourself like that Ruby, your amazing" Asta said.
"Because no matter what I do or decide it just feels hopeless Asta, think back from what I told you.Back at Atlas if I would have maybe told Ironwood the truth then Atlas would still be around and we maybe would have had a better chance aganist Salem" Ruby said.
"But you saved a lot of people Ruby you warned everyone about Salem and giving the people of your world a chance to fight back" Asta said.
"Maybe but I'm just delaying the inevitable" Ruby said as she put her hands on her face before turing to look at Asta.
"Did you know back at Atlas I fought a hound grimm back at my friends manor right before we killed it the grimm turned out to be a silver eyed faunus" Ruby said.
"Salem she must have killed or either turned so many of the silver eyed people into some grimm hybrid...she probably killed my mom Asta and I'm scared that I might have to fight my own mother" Ruby said as she had tears in her eyes.
Ruby then rub her eyes "I'm greatful that you and the Black Bulls took me in and even made me a part of your squad" Ruby said as she clutched on her black bulls robe she was wearing.
"But I'm not even sure that you guys training me would even be enough, also their the fact that we might not ever get back home" Ruby said.
"You don't have to worry Ruby because we have your back" Asta said.
"Huh" Ruby said.
"Ruby your part of the black bulls now and you noticed that we can be a bit crazy but just know that we will always have your back and that includes stopping Salem" Asta said.
"I know things may look hopeless but you shouldn't give up so easily, you wanted to be a huntress right to save people. Then thats exactly what your going to do, you make your own choices Ruby don't let anybody not even Salem choose how your life going to play out" Asta said.
"Asta" Ruby said shocked at her new friend and squadmate words.
"Look at me, I don't have any magic at all I wasn't blessed but I made my own path and became a magic knight and soon I will work my way up a be the wizard king and show no matter how much magic we have or havent. Or if your a noble or not we are all just people at the end of the day and we all have to look out and protect each other" Asta said.
He looked at Ruby and she still looked in awe at Asta.
"Oh crap sorry Ruby I really got ahead of myself!!" Asta said.
Ruby couldnt help but giggle a bit and she shook her head.
"No its fine Asta I really needed to hear that, your right I shouldn't give up too easily I choose who I want to be and I can't have Salem that my choices and what I want to be away" Ruby said.
"Thanks Asta you brought me back to the task at hand and now I'm more motivated then ever to stop Salem Cinder and even Neo" Ruby said.
"Yeah you got this Ruby dont forget we're with you all the way" Asta said as he held his fist out to Ruby.
"I apperciate that Asta,also I'm going to my best and be the best magic knight I can be" Ruby said as she bumped fist with Asta.
"I know you will Ruby know then lets go back and get some sleep I got a few hours left before I get to train and you guys still have a meeting with the wizard king tomorrow" Asta said.
"Oh right that almost slipped my mind" Ruby said as she and Asta was about to head back inside the hideout.
"Hey Asta" Ruby called out to the anti magic user causing him to stop walking and look at Ruby.
"Whats up Ruby?" Asta replied.
"Your dream I think its a great dream infact I think my friend Blake would like and improve your dream since her goals and yours are so similar and I like it too" Ruby said.
"Just like you told me your going to help me with my goals I'm going to help you reach your goals in being the wizard king and make the clover kingdom a place where everybody can feel accpeted" Ruby said.
"Thanks Ruby I apperciate that" Asta said after that Asta and Ruby then went back inside the black bulls base with Ruby figuring out who she wants to be and a new sense of focus thanks to Asta words.
"Hey Leona what is this place?" Yang asked the former captain of the crimson lions.
It was late in the morning and Yang and Mereoleona had arrived at the clover kingdom they were right at the captial of the clover kingdom and Yang couldnt help but be amazed.
The kingdom was huge it had everything and they were smelling some pretty interesting stuff and food as well. To Yang the clover kingdom reminded her bit of Vale and her days back at Beacon.
But as of right now they were standing outside of a tower.
"This Yang is a grimiore tower this is the place where your going to get your grimiore" Mereoleona said
"Wait really so thats why you got me this satchel from that shop earlier" Yang said as she looked back a bit and saw the satchel attached to her belt.
"Thats right lets get to it we dont have all day" Mereoleona said as she and Yang entered the tower.
Once they did that Yang looked and saw so many books everywhere.
"Holy crap their so many books in here Leona, just how the heck am I going to choose a grimoire" Yang said.
"Relax Yang, you dont need to worry the grimiore chooses its wielder" Mereoleona said.
What's that susppose to-" Yang started to say she saw a grimoire glow from the middle section of the sleves and the grimiore glowed in front of Yang.
It was orange and the design carried a three symbol clover at the front and her own personal emblem at the back.
Yang reached out and grabbed her grimoire.
"So Yang you got your grimoire now how do you feel?" Mereoleona asked she then had a bit of a suprise look on her face as she saw Yang blonde haired turned orange as if her hair was on fire. She then looked at Mereoleona and Mereoleona saw that Yang eyes are red.
"I feel like I'm ready to become the strongest and bash Salem's head in" Yang said.
"Heh dont forget to save Salem for me I still want to see how a fight aganist a immortal witch is like" Mereoleona smirked at Yang.Mereoleona thought that training Yang was going to be more fun then she thought.
"So inside this tower is where I'm going to get my grimoire" Weiss said.
The schnee was currently inside a grimiore tower at another part of the kingdom inside of the captial with Nozel.
The duo was going to the magic knight head quarters but before they did that. Nozel had took Weiss to get a satchel and then they went to a grimiore tower so that Weiss could get her grimoire.
Weiss was wearing her regular clothes again however the schnee was wearing the silver eagles robe with a dark blue cape. She has myernaster on strapped to her left side and her satchel to her right side.
"That is correct once you receive your grimiore you will begin your training with me and you will start your journey in becoming a magic knight" Nozel calmly said.
"I see but captain there are so many books how can I choose a grimoire" Weiss asked.
"You don't choose a grimoire the grimoire chooses you" Nozel simply said.
Before Weiss could say anything else a grimiore flew towards her from her left side and it stopped in front of her.
Weiss saw that her grimoire was whitish blue in color and the front had the three leaf clover at the front and her emblem at the back.
"This is it, this is my grimoire"Weiss said as she grabbed her grimoire.She could feel a surge of power within her more then usual when she got her grimoire.
"This must be my magic is this how Winter or Penny felt when they are maidens and Ozpin and everybody else here in this world" Weiss said.
She frowned its not going to be easy to tell Ruby that Penny is dead for good. It's hard enough that they are in another world without having any idea how to get home but now she going to have to tell her dear friend and leader that one of her close friends were gone for good.
"Weiss"
Weiss looked up and saw that Nozel was walking away leaving the towel.
"We're done here come we can't be late with lord Julius" Nozel said.
"Right my apologies captain Nozel" Weiss said as she put her grimoire inside her satchel and she ran and followed after Nozel.
Jaune was actually a bit nervous he was actually about going to get his grimoire not to mention that this was his first day being a golden dawn member.
Wearing a the golden dawn uniform it felt wierd at first since its been awhile since he actually wore something so formal.Not since his days at Beacon.
But somehow having the golden dawn uniform feels right especically with crocea mars strapped to his side .The blade was still broken and William promised they will get his sword fix after the meeting.
Jaune still felt the guilt on having to kill Penny. He knew he had to do it so Cinder wouldn't steal her maiden powers but how is he going to explain what he did to everyone especically Ruby who was super close to Penny.
She might hate Jaune guts forever if he told her what happened.
Jaune sighed he can't think about that he needs to focus here and wait to get his grimoire.Jaune was greatful that William Yuno and even Langris was with him.
Jaune then saw a white grimoire glow and float down and the front had a three leaf clover and the back was his own emblem.
Jaune opened his grimoire and he looked and saw what magic he had.
"Sword magic wait so does my magic has to do with swords" Jaune said.
"Both Yuno and William were shocked as they realize Jaune had the same magic as Licht.
Yuno remember his battle aganist Licht and fighting along side him aganist the word magic devil.
Yuno can tell Jaune has a lot of magic power he wonders can Jaune reach Licht's level one day.
"Congraulations Jaune with you getting a grimiore you are offically a magic knight with us the golden dawn I know your going to do great things with us while your here" William said.
'Thanks Captain Vangence I won't let this opprunity go to waste" Jaune said as he put his grimoire in his satchel.
"Then let us be off Langris Yuno Jaune" William said the four of them made their way to the magic knight headquarters.
'Well red your about get your very own grimoire how do you feel?" Yami said as he took another puff from his cigarette.
"A bit nervous actually but at the same time I'm excited so do I just choose a grimoire?" Ruby said as she rubbed the back of head.
Asta Yami Finral and Secre (who was in bird form and is laying on top of Ruby head) were with Ruby inside of a grimoire tower. Before they go to magic knight HQ they need to have Ruby get her grimoire.
"Nope, simply put kid the grimoire chooses you" Yami said.
"I know your going to get chosen Ruby if I can get chosen then so can you" Asta said encouraging his friend and squadmate.
"I have to agree with Asta your too c- I mean strong to not get a grimoire anybody that can fight off Luck has to get a grimoire" Finral said.
Ruby nodded "ok then I guess I should just wait and see what happens then" Ruby said.
Ruby didnt have to wait long until a red glowing book had flew and floated down towards her. At the front the book has a three leaf clover and on the back was Ruby's emblem and Ruby opened up the book.
"Rose Magic" Ruby said she dont know if she should laugh or shake her head at the iorny of her magic type. But she doesn't mind if she can control roses she can obviously combine her magic with her semblance.
"Well that's a crazy magic type you have red but I guess that means your going to fit right in with my group of knuckleheads" Yami said.
"So, Ruby you ready to be a part of my gang and kick some whiney immortal witch's ass?" Yami asked Ruby and Yami smirked as he saw Ruby confident grin and Asta and Finral smiled too.
"You bet I am captain" Ruby said.
A/N: Hey sorry about not uodatinv been busy with other stories. I saw the tralier for volume 9 it looks interesting even though Roosterteeth is a mess especically with how they are handling RWBY going to be interesting to see the gang probably go on a self reflecting arc here.
With that said with however long they are trapped in the ever after they would be trapped here in the black clover world in my story or they could be trapped till the timeskip and they might be a part of a certain movie thats coming up for Black Clover who knows lol. With that said next chapter when mostly everybody reunites with each might be a few hugs and tears there.
