"Sorry I think you must have given me a concussion in our last sparing session you want us to do what?" Yang said as she turned to look at Mereoleona.
The two powerhouses have been at the Ultime-Volcano Mountain Trail for a few days now and during that time Yang had begun training under Mereoleona and learning under her.
Yang had learned a lot from the former captain of the Crimson Lions, during that time she gotten a good handle on how to use her magic and she learned a couple of spells too.
Also Yang had learned about Mana Zone as well and that added a lot to the arsenal of moves. Like for example thanks to learning Mana Zone Yang can move and stand in mid air which is perfect whenever she use Ember Celica to maneuver around her opponents.
Yang has gotten stronger for sure since she arrived in this world but what Mereoleona suggested what they should do next for their training was a bit insane.
"You heard me Yang, I want the both of bathe in the lava of the volcano" Mereoleona said.
"You can't be serious Leona if we do that we're going to burn to death their no way that our aura can protect us from the intense temperature of the lava!!" Yang said causing Mereoleona to look at her.
"You forget that we also have mana Yang, with mana skin along with our aura we should be able to deal with the intense heat of the lava" Mereoleona replied.
Yang realized that Mereoleona did bring up some good points. Even though she hasnt been in this world long she felt that she could almost do anything with her magic. But even Yang knows that their has to be some limits on what they can do with their magic.
"I want to know why you think bathing ourselves in lava is going to make us stronger" Yang said.
"Not too long ago we have faced the eye of the midnight sun which were lead by another race called the elves who wanted to take revenge on the people of this kingdom for murdering their kind a long time ago" Mereoleona said.
"That's horrible that...sounds like something what on what the faunus are going though...and why they created the White Fang" Yang said she lowered her head a bit.
"Turns out if was a devil that behind it, before you and you guys arrived we was training and preparing ourselves aganist the devils" Mereoleona said.
"So is that the reason why you want us to bathe in the lava you think somehow this will allow you to fight aganist the devils?" Yang said as she crossed her arms.
"The devils use forbiddem magic and during that time at the shadow magic left overs of the devil magic remain and my magic was ineffective aganist it" Mereoleona explained.
She then gave Yang her trademark grin a grin that made even Yang shiver just a little bit.
"So I thought why not bathe in Lava if we can do that our bodies can adpat to the heat and our bodies and magic power get stronger as well" Mereoleona.
"Well that makes sense I never really thought about it like that" Yang said.
"So Yang what do you say are you in, have you forgotten you said you wanted to be the strongest" Mereoleona said.
"No its fine I've gotten this far their no need to turn back now alright Leona lets do this" Yang said as she punch the inside of her right hand.
"That's what I like to hear now lets get started" Mereoleona said as she begun to take off her clothes and Yang started to do the same.
Once the two of them were naked the both of them wasted little time and got in the Lava to Yang it was super hot but she felt it her aura and mana was protecting her and so Mereoleona and Yang sat next to each other.
"I got to thank you since you unlocked my aura I think we might find the answer we are looking for the answer to attaim greater strength" Mereoleona said.
"Greater strength to become the strongest heh you know the more I spend time with you Leona the more I realize coming into this world is a blessing for us" Yang said.
"Well I'm happy that I got a sparring partner and it wont be long until we have a chance to burn Salem and her little minions to death" Mereoleona said.
"Hell yeah and I'm going to be the one to do that" Yang said.
"Please thats going to me, you might get scared shitless again of her" Mereoleona said.
"Nah if I see Salem again I'm not going to hesitate I'm going to burn her to ashes as many times as it takes and you know their no one else I rather do it together with" Yang said as she smiled at Mereoleona.
Even though it might be almost a week but Yang really had started to and develop a bond with Mereoleona, to Yang Mereoleona was becoming a huge mentor and a bit of a mother figure to her.
"Hmph well I guess kicking Salem and the Devils asses together would sound like fun just hope you dont slow me down Yang" Mereoleona said.
"Relax I'll be fine besides I'm training under badass lioness after all" Yang said as she then had a serious look on ger face.
"Hey Leona it sounds like these devils might be bad news just know that just like you guys have our back with dealing with Salem we have your back with the devils" Yang said.
"Really but Yang there might be a chance you can't come back to our world" Mereoleona said.
"Then we're going to find a way back here besides as long as we got magic and even our aura we can do anything we set put minds too" Yang said.
"Heh well said Yang I'll hold you up to that promise" Mereoleona said as she smirked at Yang.
"Right" Yang said she was wondering how the others were holding up with their training...and she hopes Blake is ok where ever she is.
"AHHH!!!" Weiss screamed as she jumped and thrust at Nozel however Nozel had multiple shields made from his mercury magic to block the attack. Weiss then saw a tentacle like spear coming from the shield and Weiss flipped back and dodged the attack.
Once Weiss landed she huff and was out of breath.
"Captain Nozel his magic is so versatile he can defend almost anywhere while at the same time he can attack from anywhere its a perfect mix of offense and defense" Weiss said.
"Weiss thats enough we're done for today" Nozel said as be deactived his spell.
"Yes sir" Weiss said as she went ahead and grabbed her grimoire and put it in her satchel and strapped Myrtenaster to her left side.
"Your doing well in using your magic power however don't let it get to your head" Nozel calmly said.
"Yes sir" Weiss said the more of she spends time with Nozel the more she realize he reminds of her of Winter everyday. He serious and strict but deep down he does have a caring side.
Weiss realize that she could relate and get along with captain Nozel because not only because he and her older sister were similar but they both grew up in wealthy backgrounds and high expectations due to their family name.
"Not that means anything anymore" Weiss thought.
Nozel was impressed with Weiss even though its been a few days but she has started to get use to using her magic and using it in coordination with her semblance.
The more Nozel sees Weiss glyphs the more they look similar to rune arrays which are magical circles. Nozel knows that back in Weiss world their basically not any magic anymore due to the brother gods taking it away as well killing the first wave of humanity.
"But is it possible their semblance could be a weaker form of magic...regardless its due to that Weiss is learning and mastering her powers in a impressive rate not to mention she has a huge amount of magic power...just like Noelle and mother" Nozel thought.
Weiss and Nozel looked and they both saw Noelle she looked a bit nervous and she then saw Weiss.
"So this is Weiss, I'll admit she really does look similar to us wouldn't be shock somebody would mistake us for a sliva" Noelle thought.
"Noelle so you finally came" Nozel said as Noelle walked up to Weiss and Nozel.
"Yes big brother Nozel you said you had some information about mother and her death" Noelle said shocking Weiss.
"Go to dorothy she has the answers your seeing" Nozel said.
"The captain of the Coral Peacock" Noelle said she wanted to know why Nozel would want her to go to as far as she saw her the sleeping captain but Noelle understood maybe her brother had a reason he wanted her to see Dorothy.
"I understand brother I will be on my way" Noelle said as she looked at Weiss
"You must be Weiss Ruby told me a lot about you she thinks we would get along" Noelle said as she smiled a bit at Weiss.
"Well I can imagine why I think we can be good friends its nice to finally meet you Noelle, Nebra told me a bit about you" Weiss said.
"Really Nebra did?" Noelle asked.
"Yeah she did and she told me about how you saved her and the rest of your siblings I think she was a bit proud of you" Weiss said.
"Really I never thought Nebra would feel that way" Noelle said.
"Take it from me Noelle I had a rough relateionship with my younger brother I was so focus on myself I forgot to look after and care for him when I come back home I'm going to do my best to repair our relateionship and start over" Weiss said.
"It's not too late for you guys as well" Weiss said.
Noelle looked at Weiss and smiled "thanks, Weiss and your right it isnt too late for us to start over, I better get going it was nice meeting you hopefully I'll see you around more and maybe we can start being friends" Noelle said as she held out her hand to Weiss.
"Of course besides any friend of Ruby is a friend of mine I saw Asta the other day during our meeting he sure looks like a handful like Ruby is" Weiss said.
"Well he is a handful but so is the rest of my squad so I'm use to it besides it seems like Ruby is fitting in just fine with us" Noelle said.
"I see I'm glad that Ruby is doing great with you guys especially with what happened with Penny...Noelle please look after Ruby she might still blame herself a bit with what happened back at Atlas" Weiss said.
"Dont worry Weiss Ruby in great hands after all she is part of the black bulls now and we always look after one another" Noelle said after that both of the teen girls shook hands.
"Nozel I'll be going now" Noelle said as she bowed at her older brother after that Noelle left leaving Weiss and Nozel alone in the training room.
"Captain Nozel tell me about your mother...was a devil responsible?" Weiss asked.
"What good would it do if I told you that?" Nozel simply said.
"Well I am a member of the silver eagles and a huntress its my job to help people especially those that I care about" Weiss said.
"There's a chance you might not be able to come back to our world Weiss ,our battle should not be your concern" Nozel said.
"With all due respect sir when my friends are in troblue it is my concern, you and the clover kingdom has done so much for my friends so much that your willing to come with us to Remnant to fight off Salem...well soon its going to be our turn to return the favor and I know Ruby would say the same thing" Weiss said.
"So make no mistake once we delt with Salem we will be coming back to help you guys deal with the enemy here which I guess are the devils" Weiss said.
Nozel just looked at Weiss and he knew she was dead serious about what she just said.
Nozel closed his eyes "if you really are serious in fighting by my side then be prepared our training will be much harder and its possible I will send you out on missions as well but for now rest for a bit" Nozel said as he started to leave the training area.
"Yes sir!!" Weiss said as she started to leave the area with Nozel.
Meanwhile at the Blackbulls hideout we Yami and Ruby are doing their own training we see Yami and Ruby clashing with their weapons the two of them not giving an inch from each other until Yami pushed Ruby back.
Ruby silver eyes glowed "he going to launch a sword slash" Ruby thought.
Just like Ruby saw by reading Yami ki Yami launch a dark slash at Ruby but Ruby used her semblance to teleport out of the way.
"What the did she just teleport" Yami said he tried to sense Ruby ki and at the last moment he quickly turned and block Ruby incoming strike.
"Hahaha look at you red seems like you starting to get the hang of using Ki, goodness are you a monster diguised as a little girl those glowing eyes of yours is proving my point" Yami said.
"Hmm nope I'm just a regular huntress and a proud member of the black bulls" Ruby said as she pushed Yami a bit and spund crescent rose and slashed at Yami multiple time but Yami easily blocked them.
Ruby then jumped in the air and it wasn't long until she used another spell and it wasn't long until multiple Ruby's were created due to her rose magic.
"Rose Magic: Petal Clones"
"Nice red, seems like your also starting to get the hang of using your magic I guess you fighting our magicless brat paid off" Yami said he increased his magic power a bit.
Yami then began to quickly swing his sword at the Ruby clones creating multiple dark slashes and easily destroying them.
"Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Avidya Wild Slash
"This time she attacking from behind" Yami said as he quickly turned around and saw that Ruby flying at him but Yami quickly turned and swung his sword horzionatly at Ruby but the huntress used her semblance to turn into Rose petals and went above Yami and she spun forward and swung crescent rose downard at Yami but Yami quickly jumped back and dodged the attack by jumping back and Ruby struck the ground creating some smoke.
"Aww man I almost had you" Ruby said.
"You did but give yourself some credit red training with you made me sharpen and improved my ki sensing so thanks for that" Yami said.
"No problem I have gotten better feel in using ki and my magic I think I got some ideas on how to use my semblance in combination with my magic I really couldnt do it without you captain Yami" Ruby said.
"No problem but remember you did this by your own efforts I just pushed you in the right direction now then how about we go inside and rest up a bit" Yami said.
"Sure maybe I can go and visit Henry and talk with him a bit...hey captain Yami do you think Asta and the others can get information about forbidden magic?" Ruby asked.
"Lets hope so kid, its the only lead we got all we have to do is wait and see" Yami said as he sheathed his sword.
"Lets go Charmy probably in there making some good food right about now" Yami said.
"Right man am I hungry" Ruby said as she and Yami started to head back to the base.
"I must admit Blake and Neo are doing really well so far" Lolopechka said as she Udine and the elves were watching Blake and Neo and how they were fighting Gadjah.
The group was currently inside Lolopeckia monitor room and they were seeing how Blake and Neo training is going and Lolopechka was impressed she didnt expect Blake and Neo to learn mana method so quickly.
"Indeed if things go as well it wont be long until they will be able to learn ultimate magic" Patoli said.
"That's true but Patoli Neo you can tell right she growing at a fast rate" Rhya said.
"Your right Neo certainly has a lot of potential however I'm wondering if she thought about what we said" Patoli said.
"About us telling her that revenge wont do her any good and that she could start over here" Fana said.
"Yes Fana, I just hope that Neo will be able to take our words to heart" Patoli said.
Meanwhile back at the forest Gadjah was floating in the air and the forest was surrounded by a thick mist.
"I never expected Neo to have a huge amount of magic power not only that it seems like her and Blake are starting to work together in perfect synch" Gadjah said.
Gadjah looked and saw multiple shadows speed around him he needs to figure out and sense where Blake and Neo might attack.
"Wha-" Gadjah said as he felt something dragging him down and he saw a multiple of shadow hands that came from a circle of arrays.
Gadjah then looked up and saw multiple Blake and Neo clones in the air and they went up and attacked Gadjah.
"Not bad but not good enough" Gadjah said as lightining started to surround his body and after that Gadjah started to release multiple lightining blast from his body and the attack was powerful enough to destroy the clones, the shadow hands that was holding him and the mist.
Once the mist disappeared Gadjah then looked and saw Blake and Neo holding grambol shoroud and Hush.
"We almost got him that time...Gadjah is fast he might be even faster then Ruby using her semblance" Blake said.
"Good you two, it seems like you two are getting use to using your magic" Gadjah said "now then lets continue"
Gadjah then begun to hold out his right hand.
"Lightning Magic: Tenjiolia"
Gadjah released a fast lightining bolt at Neo and Blake but Neo opened up Hush to block the attack and Blake jump up and releases some purple aura slashes at Gadjah.
But Gadjah merely dodge the attack using his speed however Blake using her speed went ahead and tried to attack Gadjah with multiple slashes from Grambol Shroud but Gadjah kept dodging them.
Gadjah jumped back from a slash and fired a lighting attack at Blake but Blake use her semblance to dodge the attack. Gadjah looked and he widen his eyes and he saw Lolopechika.
"My Queen" Gadjah said as he hesiated for a bit and that gave him some hesitation and as he turned and Blake slashed at Gadjah the blow knocking him back and Neo then kicked him sending Gadjah flying.
Gadjah then recovered "well done you two it seems like the both of you are getting the hang on using your magic and learning true magic" Gadjah.
"Yeah but that was a bit of mean trick you pulled" Blake said to Neo who merely shurggued she then looked at the ground and saw flashes her pink coming from her.
"No I'm sure that you know in a battle anything can happen and anybody can use any method to try to win, I just need to be better and not fall for any tricks my opponent tries aganist me" Gadjah said.
"Come let us return to the palace" Gadjah said as he started to walk away from the area and Blake and Neo followed him.
"Excllecent work you two your starting to get the hang of using your magic" Lolopeckia said.
"I agree I think it wont be long until you two can learn ultimate magic but lets take one step at a time" Patoli said.
"Thanks we wouldn't be able to get stronger if it wasn't for all of you" Blake said.
"Oh it's no problem at all Blake I'm more then willing to help a dear friend out especially since I might die soon" Lolopeckia said.
"Lolopeckia!" Udine yelled.
"Its fine Udine I trust Blake and Neo besides I already told the elves it would be only right that they deserve to know my secert as well" Lolopeckia said.
"Not too long ago I've gotten cursed by a devil name Megicula it seems like I gotten six months left to live" Lolopeckia said.
"A devil wait Patoli I think you mentioned to us a devil was behind the massacre of the elves five hundred years ago but what is a devil exactly?" Blake asked.
"A devil are beings that resided in the underworld and they can use very powerful magic if it wasn't for Licht and Luimere we would have died to the word magic devil" Patoli said.
"Yes and Megicula is even stronger then that devil" Megicula said.
Neo frowned a bit so the clumsy princess is going to die because of some curse, normally she wouldn't care less but the thought of her dying makes her sad...wait why would she be sad.
"That's awful I'm sorry Lolopeckia isnt there anything we can do!!" Blake said.
"The only way to remove my curse is to defeat Megicula thats why we agreed that we all need to get stronger I believe it wont be long until the people of the clover kingdom will come here" Lolopeckia said.
"So you want to ask the clover kingdom to help you beat Megicula, wait that means I might be able to see Yang and the rest of my friends!!" Blake said as Neo eyes perked up at that.
"Exactly but this shouldn't concern you Blake you guys have to go and save your own world from Salem, you have your own love ones to protect" Lolopeckia said.
"That also includes you Lolopeckia" Blake said shocking Lolopeckia.
"What?" Lolopeckia said.
"I said you have become a important friend to me you and the elves you brought me in to your homes your kingdom and took me in even though I was a complete stranger and you had no reason to trust me or Neo" Blake said gesturing to the former right hand of Torchwitch.
"You even helped the both of get stronger and teaching us on how to use our magic its thanks to you all that we have a chance to face and defeat Salem and her forces" Blake said before continuing.
"I know Ruby would understand and agree by saying this, but once we are done with Salem, we're coming back and help you deal with Megicula and the other devils as well" Blake said as she nodded and gave Lolopeckia a determined look.
Lolopeckia couldnt help herself as tears were falling down her face.
"Thank you Blake I'm happy that I got to meet you it shows that even from different worlds people can form a bond with each other" Lolopeckia said.
A bond huh Neo wondered to herself...actually she thought about it ever since she been here these past number od days. Even if she returns to Remnant and takes care of Cinder and possibly kill Ruby what then?.
Roman is already dead she really has no attachements on Remnant besides its possible she would be in prison after Salem was defeated back at Remnant.
Maybe Patoli was right maybe she could start over here maybe stay with the elves just to have a quite and peaceful life...well there Rhya but honestly Neo had enjoyed their banters with each other and...well he not a bad looking guy...
Neo shook her head at that last thought.
"Well then you two have done well for now just rest and recover and Gadjah will train you guys again tomorrow" Lolopeckia said.
"Right" Blake said as Neo merely nodded.
A couple of hours later it was night time and Neo was currently in the forest she transformed into Lolopeckia then Patoli and back to herself. Neo then saw some pink like energy coming from her and she was supurised to see clones of herself.
"My my thats a interesting trick you just did"
Neo and her clones and saw Rhya walking to them.
"I didnt know you could create clones using your semblance thought it would be only using your mist magic" Rhya said.
Neither could she to be honest it seems like her semblance must have evolved. She got out her scroll and typed something and showed it to Rhya.
"So your semblance have evolved huh thats pretty crazy you are becoming even more deadly by the minute" Rhya chuckled.
Neo smirked she didnt expect her semblance to evolve like this but she'll take it.
Neo sighed to be honest she was a bit glad that Rhya was here she needs to talk to someone, she wonders...
Neo's clones disappeared and Neo had created a clone of Roman.
"Hey who this guy an old friend of yours?" Rhya asked.
"You could say that I'm Roman Torchwitch a pleasure to make your acquaintance Rhya" the Roman clone said.
"I guess the pleasure all mine I guess..Neo why did you create this guy" Rhya asked.
Neo looked at the Roman clone.
"Well since our little Neo here can't speak Im acting as her little mouthpiece think of me as the middle man between you two" Roman said.
"I see so your protecting your thoughts to the illusion quite clever of you honestly your semblance reminds me of Reve's dream magic I wonder if your semblance is a form of magic you did come from a world that people did use to have magic" Rhya said as he had a thoughtful look on his face.
"Who really knows it's a interesting to think about but Neo not here to talk about that" Roman said as he twirled his cane.
"Alright then little miss Trivia I'm all ears" Rhya said causing Neo to roll her eyes.
"You see Neo has been thinking a lot see if she tried to go and kill Cinder and maybe go after Red she hasnt thought about what she should do next" Roman said.
"Neo has a bit of a rough history her parents mistreated her all because she couldnt speak and they were forcing her to be somebody she isnt however that all changed when she met me of course and it was because of that meeting that Neo had finally gotten the freedom she want and she couldnt care less what others thought about her" Roman said.
"I see looks like you had a diffcult childhood and your parents hated you for being different man oh man seems like people can be judgemental in other worlds after all" Rhya chuckled.
"I guess you know I guess Neo does have things in common with you elves and Blake as well..she never thought about it like that" Roman said.
"That's a good point anyway back to our conversation" Rhya said.
"Right well things were good for Neo and I until we met Cinder and decided to work for her not that we had a choice as much of a bitch Cinder is she is pretty powerful when she using her maiden powers Neo and I didnt have a chance then and you know the rest of the story from the kitty cat" Roman said.
"You see if Neo killed Red and Cinder then what its not like the real me is coming back...she really has no one on Remnant she cares about personally and she commited many crimes so she was wondering could she maybe stay here start over get a fresh start and maybe stay with you and the rest of the elves or even here in the heart kingdom" Roman said as Neo had a sad look on her face.
Rhya didnt say anything for a moment and he sighed and rubbed his head.
"Man Patoli would be better at this then I am" Patoli said.
"I mean of course you can start over here you know our story by now as much as we wanted to join Licht and the others our souls were already bound to our bodies so Licht told us to enjoy this second life we were granted with" Rhya said.
"Can't let my old friend down can I and after we settled in Elysuia things have gotten interesting for us for sure especially since you and Blake arrived I think we figured out what we are susppose to do now" Rhya said as he went up to Neo.
"Really and what would that be?" Roman asked.
"To protect this world and continue to ensure Licht's abd Luimere effort dont go to waste so if you want my answer Neo you can start over get a fresh start and try to atone for the crimes you commited" Rhya said as he placed a hand on Neo shoulder.
"Of course why not pay Cinder back two fold and mess with her especially since you gotten stronger" Rhya said.
Neo thought about it and she gave Rhya a small smile nodded.
"I guess its decided seems like Neo going to stay here in your world after she takes down Cinder now-" Roman stopped as Neo narrowed her eyes as she saw that Rhya was starting at her clevage after that Neo wasted little time and kicked Rhya in the gorin.
"AHHHHHH!!!!" Rhya yelled as he fell to the floor and was holding his private area and after that Neo started to walk away.
"Food for thought pal next time try to be more discreet" Roman said as the illusion disappeared.
As she was walking Neo smiled prehaps landing in this world wasn't bad after all she should thank Cinder for giving her a second chance but thats after she teaches that good for nothing bitch a lesson. For the first time since Roman death things were looking up for Neo and she can't wait to see what the future has in store for her.
A/N: Well never expected to write a long chapter but here we are I wanted to show how everybody was doing in their training I hope I did a good job in showing that. Also Im sure you noticed that Nozel and Rhya mention that how Weiss and Neo was using their semblance thats its similar to magic and was wondering if they were using magic.
Well its due to that similarty and connection that Ruby and the others are having a bit of a easier time in using their magic and don't be shock if you see them using their semblance in combination with their magic just a thought right there.
Now then we are getting closer to where I going to have to put the story on hold and wait until volume 10 come out because lets just say Ruby and the others are much closer in returning to Remnant.
