'This really is ridiculous!' Mori thought with annoyance as he used a broom to defend himself from the torashinai attacks of a certain combat-thirsty young girl.
"Come on, fight! Show me what you've got!" Taiga exclaimed with fierceness worthy of a wild tiger as she attacked the blue-green-haired young man with her favorite kendo practice sword.
Despite her young age, the Yakuza princess attacked with fluid and strong blows, demonstrating a great mastery of her swordsmanship, simply exalting why she was called the infamous Fuyuki Tiger even though she did not like the title.
While all this was going on, the spectators of the match could only watch in amazement the encounter between the two young martial arts masters. Shirou especially watched with sparkling eyes as his older adopted brother used a mundane broom to defend himself. In Kiritsugu's case, he gained some interest in the past of the young man he just adopted, coming to the conclusion that he was even more mysterious than he appeared due to the great skill with which he defended himself against the swordmaster.
However, the combat in the courtyard of the Emiya residence began to become more intense. Frustration began to appear on Taiga's handsome face, causing her face to gain an angry countenance that would scare anyone, even her beloved grandfather Raiga, famous for being an infamous soulless Yakuza for decades ... Not even he would be foolish enough to challenge the Fuyuki Tiger being so angry.
"What's wrong with you?! You're just defending yourself! Fight back!" Roared the brown-haired girl.
"I don't want to fight!" Mori shouted at her, somewhat surprising to those who knew him as the infamous Sun Wukong of yesteryear or the fearless Jin Mori, but now as Dan Mori he had gained a way of being no longer so thirsty for combat ... Or at least to combat to no purpose.
"Grrr!" Growled his opponent throwing a blow to the side of the turquoise hair.
Moving the broom he had as a replacement Yeoui, Mori was able to block the attack successfully and using his improvised weapon as a foothold, the young man managed to push Taiga to get more space.
"Calm down, I don't want to fight you, I want to clean my house!" Exclaimed the former Monkey King, but the Yakuza princess turned a deaf ear.
The aforementioned attacked again against her opponent launching this time several thrusts that Mori managed to deflect without much trouble thanks to the broom he had in his hands, the latter used the brush part to launch a horizontal warning blow to make the girl retreat. Which worked for a moment, but the fearless girl rushed forward again swinging her torashinai because of Mori's lowered guard due to her previous move which was too open.
Taiga directed her attack towards the turquoise hair's head which if it were to connect would knock any grown man unconscious from all the concentrated force behind the attack, but fortunately the Fallen God still retained a good portion of his great ape-like flexibility and with it managed to tilt his upper body backwards, thus dodging the girl's powerful strike to the surprise of many, especially some of the spectators who knew the fame or skill of Fuyuki's best swordswoman.
'Here we go.' Mori thought calmly returning to his original position again.
Subsequently, he swung the broom with great skill as if it was indeed a proper stick for fighting and launched several swinging attacks against Taiga, although the latter managed to block them, the blows had a considerable amount of force that made the girl retreat and lose ground again.
But that didn't bother the young Taiga at all, who smiled with some elation when her opponent started to answer her attacks making this silly encounter progress more and more to become a real fight, which was what the Yakuza princess wanted from the beginning.
Mori launched a sweep across the floor with the broom towards her opponent's feet to knock her down, but the Fuyuki Tiger managed to dodge the attack with great reaction speed and reflexes jumping before the cleaning implement touched her and then she launched a diagonal attack makes the turquoise hair's shoulder.
The Fallen God managed to dodge the brown-haired girl's surprise attack by spinning to the side and then launching a lunge with the opposite end of the broom brush to the girl's left side. To some, the broom seemed to be a dangerous spear that would impale the girl.
"Hmph! Don't you dare underestimate me!" Fuyuki's Heavenly Tiger exclaimed with a fierce smile as she landed on the ground and in quick succession made a swift turn to accumulate centrifugal force and in conjunction with her own power deliver a devastating blow to meet her opponent's attack. - Go, torashinai! -
Crack!
It was the sound that echoed throughout the courtyard of the Emiya residence when Taiga's shinai hit the end of the broom from the side, causing that side to fly into the air. And thus, Mori was left with half of the broom in hand, thus losing attack range.
"Kukuku! What did you think of that?!" Asked the Fuyuki Tiger amusedly to her opponent.
The fallen god frowned. "You're better than I thought." He admitted realizing that if this girl in front of him had participated in The God of High School tournament, she would have been a fierce opponent, and possibly a great match for Mira as well.
"Hey, isn't this getting out of control?"
"Yes! Those last attacks... They seemed to go to vital points!"
"Somebody stop them!"
Exclaimed the workers in the audience at the strange situation that had developed without apparent sense, but despite their words, none did anything to stop the said combat that was gradually escalating to be even more brutal.
"Mori-nii ... He is strong ..." Shirou muttered under his breath. The red-haired boy frowned remembering how the turquoise-haired man had saved him in the fire. Yes, only someone strong could have saved him from that inferno.
Meanwhile, Kiritsugu was analytically watching the situation without any hint of interrupting the fight. This was an interesting development and gave him some clue as to where Mori might have come from ...
'He came out of nowhere, he's not registered in the system ... Apparently he's a martial arts master despite his young age, only having trained from a very young age would he be able to achieve that, plus he hid it quite well to the mundane eye, but another martial arts master recognized him ... ' It was the mental tirade to which the mind of the former Magus Killer was ranting. And with a frown, he came to the conclusion. 'It seems that the vestiges of the Hitokiri no Akai Hasu are still on the loose... And I just adopted one of them ...' The former mercenary let out a weary sigh. 'What would you think of this ... ? Natalia.'
Taiga smiled elatedly. "Oh~? That's nothing, right now I'll show you how good I am with a sword." Said the brunette and then got into a fighting stance again.
Mori looked seriously at the Yakuza princess with the broken end of the broom left, it was uncomfortable but it was the best he had at the moment.
The Fuyuki Tiger let out a deep sigh. "Here we go."
No sooner had she finished formulating those words, the brown-haired girl had already rushed at her opponent at a faster speed than before.
'She's ... Going Faster!' Exclaimed the former Monkey King surprised by the explosive change in Taiga's abilities.
"I will have no more mercy!" Roared the Celestial Tiger.
[Kogaku no Gyō]
The Way of the Tiger's Jaw.
The turquoise-haired youth barely had time to raise his guard for the incoming attack ... But such an act would be in vain for this technique of Fuyuki's best swordsman.
[Gōhō Hagan]
The Devastating Roar of the Mountain-shattering Tiger!
Instead of hitting Mori directly, Taiga struck the ground below him with overwhelming force but not to shatter the earth but to raise a wind wave that was able to unbalance the young man's stanceando break his guard.
'It's just like ... The Dance of the Four Gods!' The fallen god couldn't help but make the comparison.
The attack Taiga had used was very similar to the functions of the first three stances of his dear friend Han Daewi's Dance of the Four Gods from his Full Contact Karate, specialized techniques created by the old master of the new and young Jade Emperor to defeat and assassinate Renewal Taekwondo practitioners.
Mori never expected to find a similar technique in this new world.
"Here I come!" Announced the brunette her attack by launching an upward strike with her torashinai.
Making use of his great reflexes and reaction speed, the turquoise-haired man managed to dodge the attack aimed at his chin but had managed to hit the end of the broom he kept causing it to fly away. As a consequence, the former Monkey King was now unarmed.
"Now then ... " The Yakuza princess gave her opponent an icy glare. "Show me your true martial art."
"What?" The young man shouted in bewilderment.
Taiga snorted with annoyance. "Do you think I'm stupid, that I didn't realize you weren't serious, that I didn't realize you weren't using your true martial arts? You may be very good, but you'd better stop underestimating your opponent." Fuyuki's Heavenly Tiger told him coldly.
The big tiger was angry ... And it was in the mood to hunt a good prey right now!
A frown appeared on Mori's face before softening. "Yes... I think you're right." He accepted his opponent's words before entering the base stance of Renewal Taekwondo.
His feet were apart, his hands were at his sides. His stance looked relaxed to the mundane eye, but to the eyes of a martial artist or experienced ones like Taiga and Kiritsugu managed to discern that the Fallen God was prepared to respond with any incoming threat to his personal space.
"Good." Nodded the chestnut complacently before smiling cheekily. "Let's get on with it!" She lunged at Mori ... Even faster than before!
But the turquoise-haired man didn't despair and started using one of the Renewal Taekwondo techniques.
[RE-]
Mori ... Please ... Live ...
Pain.
'Guh! Ack!' Growled the fallen god as he glimpsed the memory of his grandfather in his final moments.
Instantly, unimaginable pain shot through his entire body from the tips of his toes to the crown of his head. Mori could only describe it as if a bunch of burning needles pierced his pressure points disabling his body completely.
'It's ... The Bounce of the Boundary Remover!' The turquoise-haired man thought in conclusion.
It was the consequences of having used the Boundary Remover for two hundred and fifty thousand to confront Satan, the rebound of the technique had completely wrecked his body!
And because of that, the former Monkey King had to stop his attack ...
Everyone looked expectantly at how the young man had returned to his original position while Taiga continued her attack, and in a few moments the torashinai ...
She didn't hit Mori in the temple because Taiga had parried her strike an inch from connecting with the boy's head and landing a devastating, and perhaps fatal blow at the same time.
The young swordswoman had her face obscured by her brown locks, but the turquoise-haired man who was closest to her could see the mortally enraged countenance that the Yakuza princess had imprinted on her beautiful face.
"Why... Why... ?" Fuyuki Tiger muttered under her breath, the only one who could hear her was the fallen god. "Why did you stop?!"
However, Dan Mori didn't say anything, his mind was still assaulted by that ghostly pain that ran through his body and the memory of Taejin's last moments alive.
The lack of response made the brown-haired young woman even more enraged, and she was about to start a verbal assault for the disrespect to the honor of martial artists until she felt a hand on her shoulder that brought her out of that threshold of anger.
"I think we should calm down, that's enough fighting for today, don't you think?" Kiritsugu said calmly while looking at the girl, but in the last part he gave an inquisitive look to one of his adopted sons.
Both youths said nothing, Taiga turned her face the other way without wanting to look at the turquoise hair, while the latter lowered his gaze, as if watching the grass was the eighth wonder of the world.
"Well ..." Began to say the man who was known as the Magus Killer in the world of Thaumaturgy focusing completely on the Yakuza princess. "If you're here that means your grandfather wants to see me, doesn't it?"
"Huh?" Fuyuki's Tiger shouted in confusion, before being shocked as she remembered the reason why she had originally visited the Emiya residence. "Yes! Grandfather wanted to talk to you about some things, although I don't really know what they're about but grandfather said it was very urgent for you to be there." The brunette said hurriedly, wanting to fulfill the task that Raiga had given her and not to take longer so as not to be scolded.
If the leader of the Fujimura punished her ... She wouldn't be able to eat sweets for a month! She couldn't go through that again!
"I see." Kiritsugu smiled slightly. "Well, let's not keep old Raiga waiting any longer. Please lead the way."
"Yes, follow me!" Exclaimed the girl starting to walk out of the Emiya residence, but not before giving a cold look to Mori, who could only sweat.
'Great ... Only two weeks in this world and I'm already hated by someone ... Well done, Dan Mori!' The turquoise-haired man couldn't help but think with regret and weariness.
"Mori." However, when he was called out the aforementioned cut off those negative thoughts. The one who had spoken was Kiritsugu. "I'll go to the Fujimura residence for a moment, and I'll be back in a few hours. You stay in charge, I'll take care of dinner and everything else."
"Yeah, sure... Everything will be ready tonight, old man." Replied the former Monkey King in a flippant manner.
That answer was enough to satisfy the former Freelancer before retiring with Taiga, bound for the latter's house.
Mori let out a sigh that he didn't know he was holding back as the duo left the place, then turned his gaze to the workers who were startled by the young man's golden gaze and continued with their work in a hurried manner. The fallen god shook his head with some amusement, certainly, that little encounter with the Yakuza princess had taken a lot of time away from their work even though it had lasted only a short time, but that didn't take away from the fact that they had to get back to work.
"Are you all right?" A voice brought the turquoise-haired man out of his thoughts again.
Mori lowered his gaze. "Oh, Shirou... Yes, everything's fine. I don't have any scratches." He told him with a frivolous smile.
The red-haired boy looked at him critically, as if doubting his adoptive older brother's words but still didn't say anything to argue.
"You're good at fighting, Mori-nii." Shirou told him deciding it was the best thing to say.
The young man laughed nervously. "Yeah, that might be a good thing."
"Could you teach me some of that?"
That question made Mori's brain stop completely to process very well what his little brother had asked him.
"Do you want me to teach you how to fight?" He asked him with the turquoise hair. "Why, is someone bothering you? I'm going to pulverize him!" He exclaimed the latter in annoyance as he came to the wrong conclusion.
The boy looked at his older brother with a raised eyebrow and was visibly very confused. "What are you talking about? No one can bother me when I just got out of the hospital."
"Oh!" Mori shouted, realizing his mistake. "Then why do you want to learn how to fight?"
Shirou shrugged his shoulders. "It looked interesting."
The fallen god watched his brother for a couple of seconds without blinking before laughing in amusement at the red-haired boy's reasoning.
"Yes... That's very interesting." The former Monkey King gave a strange, kind of wistful smile to the boy. "Maybe someday I'll teach you something, but for now let's keep preparing everything to make the house habitable ... And we also have to prepare dinner." He said the last with a sigh. He had never been very good at cooking, not to Mira's horrendous level, but it was acceptable. Daewi, on the other hand, was a certified master chef.
Shirou smiled. "Of course."
And so both Emiya brothers continued with their tasks that afternoon. And miraculously they would discover Shirou's divine skill in the kitchen.
...
On the other hand, the patriarch of the Emiya family was in a "business" meeting with the Yakuza leader of the Fujimura group, Fujimura Raiga.
Despite being a Yakuza group they were very different from the typical Yakuza seen in anime, manga, movies and other media, in which they were generally stereotyped. But sometimes they were very similar, but that did not apply to the Fujimura group, who followed a code similar to bushido or at least that was what Kiritsugu understood, and for now it seemed to be true.
The former Magus Killer sat on a cushion in front of Raiga, who was just like his guest.
If there was one way to describe Taiga's grandfather, it was ... Tiger, it was like seeing a tiger in human guise.
Raiga had sharp features, wrinkled skin and short gray hair. His eyes were black and he had a prominent nose. He wore a green and white yukata and over it a tiger-patterned haori that just managed to accentuate his resemblance to a tiger.
But despite his intimidating appearance, he was a good person ... As long as you didn't mess with him or his beloved granddaughter.
Raiga smiled broadly at his friend. "It's good to see you so soon, Emiya-san. As far as I'm informed you're already settling into your new home." Said the older man politely.
Kiritsugu nodded. "Yes, the house will be completely ready in a few days. Those workers you recommended to me are very good at what they do."
Raiga laughed pleasantly. "Hahahaha! I told you my friend, just trust me after all I am the lord of this land, Hahaha!"
'I'm sure the Tohsaka won't like to hear such presumptuous words.' Thought the former Freelancer according to the research he had done on Tohsaka Tokiomi just before the start of the Fourth Holy Grail War. In the end he formed a friendly smile, or at least tried to. His smiles were very tired and melancholy. "Well you're absolutely right about that, were you able to get what I asked for?"
"Oh, right. I almost forgot." Raiga stood up and searched through some drawers until he took out some folders with documents. He then returned to his original position before handing the documents to the former Magus Killer. "It wasn't too hard but it took me a bit by surprise, I don't usually get new identities for people unless it's necessary."
Kiritsugu took the documents. "Thank you, I'm sorry for bothering you with that but it was very necessary." He said as he looked through the papers, all of them had false and new information for Dan Mori. After all, the guy came out of nowhere and he needed to put it in the system or it would be a problem for the future.
"No need to thank me, just returning the favor, my dear friend. You know how they say, Today for you, tomorrow for me besides, that's what friends are for, Hahaha!" Raiga said cheerfully.
If you are wondering how the former mercenary and old Yakuza leader is quite simple, the "small business" Kiritsugu had done in Fuyuki to get quick stability in the city was to contact the underworld lord of the city, who turned out to be the Fujimura group. The first meeting was quite serious, but eventually, when the magus presented him with the remaining military equipment and ammunition left over from the Fourth Holy Grail War, plus various arms smuggling contacts and much more, the old and inflexible Raiga instantly took a liking to Kiritsugu and tried to make his stay in Fuyuki the best of all, both for the man and his two adopted sons.
His honor as a Yakuza and as a swordsman demanded it, besides, the old tiger liked the former mercenary, a feeling that only the current head priest of the Ryuudou temple generated in the old man.
"Even so, thank you very much for everything you've done for us." Kiritsugu bowed slightly in thanks.
"Ugh, you're just like old Ryuudou, you're both too serious! But I guess that's what I like about you guys." Raiga said in amusement before seeming to remember something. "By the way... My dearest granddaughter Taiga was somewhat ... Irritated? Since she came back to look for you, I'm surprised because she came out very lively, do you know anything about it?" The man asked seriously, not because he was upset, on the contrary. He was worried that something that was able to change the Fuyuki Tiger's mood in a short time was true.
The black-haired man let out an exasperated sigh. "I guess that would be the fault of one of my children."
"Oh? Little Shirou? Weird, she's so childish that she should be able to get along with any child... Or get along really badly with them..." Said the older man remembering his granddaughter's personality very well. However, Kiritsugu shook his head at that conclusion Raiga had come to.
"Not at all, Shirou had nothing to do with it. In fact, we could say it's Mori's fault."
"Eh?"
Seeing Raiga's confusion, the former Magus Killer decided to explain to him what happened not long ago with Taiga and Mori.
The Yakuza leader showed a thoughtful expression at what Kiritsugu had told him.
"I see... With such a hot-headed personality I'm not surprised that Taiga tried something like that, but I'm surprised that your boy is good enough to get my granddaughter's attention like that. Taiga isn't the Fuyuki Tiger for nothing, she just has to win a couple more tournaments to make it to the nationals and finally exalt herself as the best swordsman in all of Japan. But ..." It was the diatribe that old Raiga was suffering from right now.
"I think I can give you an answer to that." Those words caught the old Tiger's full attention on the black-haired man. "For someone to be so good at martial arts besides not having an identity could only mean that he was part of the Hitokiri no Akai Hasu."
Raiga's eyes widened like saucers for a second before slowly narrowing into a fierce tiger-like countenance. Subsequently, he rose from his seat and gazed at the paintings in the room reflectively under the watchful eye of the former Freelancer.
"And to think that there are still smoldering little fathoms of that organization left, but it doesn't sound so far-fetched. There have been cases of individuals like your son Mori who suddenly return to society ... But I never expected to have one in my territory." He said with a frown before sighing wearily, something strange for the energetic older man. "No wonder Taiga acted like that, it would be her first time feeling the presence of a martial arts master of that caliber. I can also imagine her annoyance at not having a real battle."
"Why do you say so?"
Raiga sighed again. "Believe it or not, the Fujimura are descended from the great Miyamoto Musashi."
The former mercenary's eyes widened slightly. "Are they descendants of Japan's greatest swordsman of the Edo period?"
"Hehe, well... Sort of." Old Tiger chuckled. "More like we are descendants of one of his disciples, after all, no evidence was ever found that Miyamoto Musashi had any offspring, however, the closest thing he had to children were his disciples, so we could consider ourselves descendants of the infamous Shinmen Musashi no Kami Fujiwara no Harunobu. But Taiga... She is a very special case."
"What do you mean?" Kiritsugu asked with interest, he was discovering more and more secrets hidden in the small town of Fuyuki ... Just when I thought I could live in peace.
"Taiga's father is surprisingly a descendant of another of Miyamoto Musashi's disciples, but this is a special case. Because he is a descendant of one of the disciples who was allowed to bear the surname of Shinmen Musashi no Kami Fujiwara no Harunobu as his own, that is, a Miyamoto. That means that ..."
"Fujimura Taiga is the closest to Miyamoto Musashi." Kiritsugu concluded in puzzlement.
Raiga laughed uproariously at the desired conclusion. "Indeed, so that brat of yours has caught my granddaughter's eye... May kami-sama protect him. Though I'd like to meet him sometime." He said with a friendly smile.
"You can always visit us for lunch if that's what you wish." The magus proposed with kindness.
"Likewise my friend, likewise."
Kiritsugu smiled slightly, how long had it been since he had a real friend? His wife didn't count, besides she was dead. Maiya? She was more his assistant than a friend, his former Servant Saber? In fact, he did everything he could to stay away from her, Natalia? More like her adoptive mother, Shirley? ... Yes, not since Shirley had she had a true friend, so it was refreshing in a way to re-form bonds of friendship after decades of so much torment, frustration, and death.
"Well, if that's all I'll call it a day, thank you very much again, Fujimura-san." The former Magus Killer got up from his seat and pointed to leave.
"Wait, I have something else for you." The Yakuza leader interrupted the black-haired man's retreat, who looked at him with confusion. The old Tiger began to dig in some drawers until he took out some documents along with a pair of school uniforms, one for high school and one for elementary school. "I have already formalized all the preparations for your brats to start their classes next week without fail, it wasn't that difficult. Both will be at Homurahara Academy, it is fortunate that this school has a high school division and an elementary school division, which made things easier for you."
The older man handed the last things to Kiritsugu, who accepted them gratefully.
"Thank you again for everything, this time I'm leaving." Those were the former Freelancer's last words of farewell before retiring.
"Take care, my friend. Take care of yourself."
...
When Kiritsugu returned to the residence Emiya was pleasantly surprised that the house was almost finished, maybe in one or two days everything would be ready. Besides, the whole place was well organized and clean, she checked a couple of rooms and everything was acceptable to live in.
He chalked it up to his two adopted sons being the cause of that, which he was very thankful for as he wasn't very good at organizing things other than guns and ammo or magus killing plans.
So the former Freelancer went to his room and changed into a comfortable blue yukata, although he liked his suit it was somewhat uncomfortable to wear it all the time and even more so with his body so tired.
After going through that hell known as the Holy Grail War, his body would end up very fatigued at the end of the day and he would eventually feel muscle aches. You didn't have to be a genius to know why this was happening... It was all the fault of the malevolent entity inside the Holy Grail ...
All the Evils of the World.
Angra Mainyu.
For not having accepted his wish and unleashed a massive holocaust, the God of Zoroastrianism decided to curse Kiritsugu as he punished him with a very painful and insufferably slow death.
Kiritsugu sighed. He knew he didn't deserve better than that and accepted it, but at least he would leave a good life for the two youngsters he had adopted. It was the least he could do in the twilight of his life.
The weary magus entered the dining room to find the table already set and ready while Mori and Shirou finished cooking dinner.
"Wow, it smells good. - Kiritsugu said with a frivolous smile.
"Oh, man!" Said both cooks.
"I'm not that old..." muttered the black-haired man. "I didn't know they could cook."
"It's no big deal, but it turns out that Shirou is very good." Mori said with a big smile.
"I'm not that good, besides, you help me with the things I can't do yet." The red-haired boy said in response, being too stubborn to be flattered just like that.
"Oh, come on. If you didn't tell me what to do, the kitchen might have caught fire." The turquoise-haired boy joked, drawing an amused smile from the boy.
Kiritsugu just silently watched the interaction, he was glad that both youngsters were quickly adjusting to their new life cycle. But then the memories of Dan Mori possibly belonging to the Hitokiri no Akai Hasu made him frown if that was true ... The former Magus Killer shook his head to push those thoughts away, if he indeed was part or as part of that assassin organization, the turquoise-haired man never tried anything to harm anyone not even Taiga who had attacked him.
'Maybe he wants a new life... ' He thought in conclusion Kiritsugu and he could sympathize with that, after all, he was doing the same in Fuyuki. A way to live the last moments of his life in a peaceful way and try to make things right in the end and escape from the past that was eating him up.
And he remembered very well how Mori stopped himself from attacking Taiga at the end of the match, that could mean that ...
Dan Mori also wanted to get away from his past.
It wasn't long before dinner was ready and Mori together with Shirou will bring it to the table so that everything is ready to eat.
"Itadakimasu!" Said the three men together and began to dig into the plates of typical Japanese food quietly but calmly.
Mori couldn't help but smile wistfully, remembering the dinners he had had with Mira and Daewi, cooked by the latter. A memory that brought him happiness but at the same time a lot of sadness.
In a matter of minutes dinner was over and it was night, so they were going to sleep until Kiritsugu called them both.
"Well, I wanted to tell you both something and give this to you." The black-haired man took out the documents and school uniforms that Raiga had given him that afternoon. "You two will start school next week, you'd better get ready. Now, go to sleep." Said the tired man before retiring to his room to sleep. The fatigue was killing him... Literally.
The two brothers looked at the uniforms and then looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders and going to their respective rooms to sleep.
However, the only one who couldn't fall into the hands of Morpheus was Mori who was staring at the ceiling of his room like the eighth wonder of the world.
"So my new life is just beginning... I even have to go to school ... Well, I never finished high school and I doubt Hui Mori did it for me with all the Ragnarok trouble coming up..." The fallen god smiled wryly. "And even if he did, I don't have the diploma here with me but I doubt it would be of any use in another world."
Mori turned his gaze to the uniform, finding many similarities with Taiga's uniform. That made him form a grimace.
"I hope it's just a coincidence ..."
Unfortunately, the former Monkey King was only trying to lie to himself.
And so, the daily life of the most human Monkey King in history began ...
A new journey started from today.
