Chapter 2!
This is likely what I'll have this fic's format be. I'll go more in depth at the end of course but you'll see the structure of it for sure. I'm already quite enjoying doing this shorter writing for this fic too.
Enjoy, more notes at the end!
Are Talk Shows All Talk?
*Setsuna POV*
Monday at the dorms was the only day that Setsuna woke up particularly early.
The start of the week held a 1-B tradition that none of them wanted to miss so the greenette lounged with a morning cup of coffee as her classmates milled about in wait for the same thing as her. Right on cue the PA system that was set up came on and a pleasant jingle rang through the dorms before a variety of soft to big smiles made it onto the faces of the 1-B students as a voice came through.
"Monday again, time is 7am sharp and our students are all up and preparing for the new week here at the 1-B dorms," the voice announced smoothly, a grin clearly in their tone, and a resounding hum came from said students. "Starting our morning, it's Weekly 1-B with Always Flexible: Honenuki Juzo."
Setsuna chuckled into her cup as she watched some of her classmates clap or give a small cheer at Honenuki's words. Weekly 1-B was a broadcast set up by the class to both be informative as well as entertaining. At the start of the week, the Weekly 1-B team would go over important events, both in and out of lessons, scheduled for the week while also mixing in fun segments and talk about recent 1-B related happenings. It was an idea thought up by the class as a whole and each of them enjoyed hearing about possible info they missed amongst their peers as well as getting a refresh on things to come.
"Of course we can't have this program without our co-hosts," Setsuna's fellow recommended student called.
"Good Morning, it's your class president, 'Big Sister': Kendo Itsuka," Kendo greeted over the system, getting calls back from the students, before another person tuned in.
"And local, Fried Tofu Please!: Midoriya Izumi," Midoriya added on with a slight yawn in her semi-low and somewhat aloof voice.
Setsuna still wasn't sure how the 'not a morning person' Midoriya got roped into Weekly 1-B, nor what the deal with her show title was, but she worked well with the other two.
"We've got a full week everyone," Honenuki hummed, likely skimming the schedule the Broadcasting Club would receive from their sensei. "I'm seeing an increase in team rescue training ranging from pairs to groups of five," he informed, gaining a mix of excitement and groans from the listeners. "We also have a continuation on super moves so keep brainstorming new techniques or how to polish what you've got," he added on while a purely positive reaction followed before Kendo's voice came through next.
"I hope everyone remembered to study for the math quiz later today as well," the class president reminded firmly and Setsuna watched a few of her classmates' faces fall. "There's also the possibilities of pop quizzes throughout the week so keep on top of the notes," she advised kindly and Honenuki picked it back up.
"After classes today our head baker Shiozaki Ibara has requested as much assistance as possible in exchange for freshly baked bread so please see her if you're interested," he noted, Setsuna already spotting a few of her friends heading towards Shiozaki to confirm, and Midoriya's cool, matter of fact, voice rotated in.
"Keep your ear out for an instrumental performance some time this week," she informed which instantly got some enthusiastic chatter from the rest of 1-B. "Don't want to miss out whatever piece is played," the aloof girl assured and Honenuki gave a light chuckle.
"Keeping everyone on their toes, Midoriya?" he poked while Setsuna could imagine the other greenette shrugging along.
"Part of the fun," Midoriya seemed to nod but Kendo chimed in.
"The Instrumental Club just hasn't decided on a day yet right?" the orange haired student questioned and a long pause hung over the 1-B dorm.
"Correct," Midoriya answered with pure seriousness before both her fellow members snickered at what must have been an equally serious expression.
"Don't be that upfront!" Honenuki laughed heartily.
The Broadcasting Club continued going on, covering the smaller announcements from both their teacher and other clubs in 1-B as well as simply conversing back in forth much to everyone's general entertainment. Setsuna, like the others, laughed or listened along but eventually they came to the last part of their weekly program.
"Now then, it's time for our question corner," Honenuki began while rustling about for something. "Our write in today is from Death TaKe-san," he hummed, pausing a moment before putting on a good reading voice. "Good Morning, Weekly 1-B team!"
"Good Morning, Death TaKe-san," The three members replied back courteously.
Setsuna eagerly peered about the dorm's lounge area to see if she could figure out who wrote in today. It was a game among 1-B that someone would write in with a false name that might be from another student and then Weekly 1-B would try to guess who the real sender was. A number of the other students were whispering to one another, making their own guesses as well, but answers appeared to be all over the place. That said, Setsuna had to wonder just what the hell was a Death TaKe.
"I totally forgot to study for today's math quiz! What should I do? Please help!" Honenuki finished dramatically before shifting back and making a thoughtful sound.
"Well Death TaKe-san," the recommended student addressed pleasantly, "don't stress so much!" he advised with swift confidence. "Take a few deep breaths. Math isn't until later so you still have some time to go over the material," he concluded before turning his attention elsewhere. "Anything you want to add Pres?"
"Don't rush, go over the material carefully and ask your classmates to help you review what you don't get," Kendo reasoned, laying out a plan for the anonymous sender. "That said, Midoriya do you have your guess ready," Kendo asked, getting a low note from the other student.
"Well our write in used some English in their name," Midoriya laid out simply. "Specifically the word 'Death' which translated over can sound like 'Shi'. So when you put that together you get shiitake like the mushroom. That would lead us to Komori Kinoko but of course the purpose of handle names for our listeners is to misdirect us," the greenette broke down with ease while everyone else nodded along. "The style of wording is closer to Tokage Setsuna but as one of our recommended students it's not her," Midoriya continued on, Setsuna herself agreeing and wondering who this week's sender was to mimic her.
"Makes perfect sense," the class president agreed.
"So our write in is posing as Tokage posing as Komori," Honenuki simplified.
"That's right," Midoriya softly grunted in response. "Which leaves us with the real culprit." There was another pause before Midoriya gave a somewhat amused sigh. "Class 1-B, someone please assist one Monoma Neito before the math quiz today," she stated plainly.
"Monoma huh?" Kendo nodded.
"Monoma indeed," the greenette confirmed.
"Well that's time for us everyone," their last member smoothly transition without missing a beat. "This has been Weekly 1-B with, Always Flexible: Honenuki Juzo."
"Big Sister: Kendo Itsuka."
"And, Fried Tofu Please!: Midoriya Izumi."
"Have a great week 1-B!" the three finished, signing off, and Setsuna drew her eyes over to Monoma who was already holding up a notebook.
"I'm free now Monoma," she offered as a few more of their classmates flocked over.
"I'm grateful," the boy sighed.
A new week always did bring new challenges.

Heaven or Hell?
*Shihai POV*
"With the destruction of a warding stone would fate deign to bring a curse of the vengeful or the fury of the divine," Shihai posed to his two companions as they gathered at one of their desks.
His allies, Yanagi and Midoriya, drew their attentions away from their own research before setting down their phones to deliberate alongside him. Yanagi was well versed on all manners of dark spirits or stories depicting or recording their actions while Midoriya was their gate to knowledge of the divine and mythological. The green haired student pensively tapped a finger while the gray haired one closed her eyes in deep focus.
"The very action would have you abandoned by the gods and overwrought by evil spirits," Yanagi assured, reopening her eyes with a dead set gaze, before Shihai turned to their other companion.
"Depends on the stone," Midoriya firmly stated, her gaze unwavering, and the pitch black student pondered their answers.
"Even if evil spirits are in debt to you for assisting or liberating them then they are more prone to cursing you for little else than it being their nature," Yanagi elaborated even further and Shihai nodded at the possibility.
Both answers were quite sound though of course still unable to truly account for potential fickle natures. This was quite the conundrum he and his companions had found themselves in. There was no solid answers that they could find, only ones within a range of possibility.
"Someone has to have done it before," Midoriya offered next, "even by accident."
"I shall peruse for any information," the other girl nodded while the white haired boy reconsidered for himself.
"Let us conceive the other side away from vengeful spirits," Shihai amended. "Would the divine even care to give the attention to a single mortal?" he posed once more but the green haired student gave him a blank look of little consideration.
"If you do it in the future and get arrested then we don't know you," she shrugged, a brief nod from Yanagi following, and Shihai shook his head.
"To think you'd sever our bonds so readily Midoriya," the white haired boy scoffed though their gray haired third re-entered the conversation.
"We would likely be cursed alongside you as your comrades in this conversation and group," she proposed and a silence drew over the three for but a moment.
"So it's too late huh?" the greenette grumbled, her eyes drawn back to her own research.
"Come explore the unknown alongside me," Shihai offered readily while the other two hummed.
Yanagi did not seem opposed to the request but their other companion was still stalwart in her resistance. Another silence ached over them before she sighed and looked from her phone to the ceiling.
"Think taking out a god would be possible," Midoriya posed back and Shihai felt his lips quirk.
"Directly to deicide?" he questioned, impressed. "You adapt far too well Midoriya," he chuckled in amusement.
"I suppose a cursed existence will be our fates," Yanagi softly uttered in comfortable resignation.
Shihai was certain that the three of them could handle any manner of threat that was placed upon their path. When they were together then all that held them back was the own limitations of their minds. Truly they could become unrivaled and would...
"What lunch set does the cafeteria have today?" Midoriya yawned aloud, getting up to stretch, while Yanagi did the same.
"I haven't the faintest idea," she professed and the two stared down to him next.
"Perhaps the both of you adapt too well," he sighed, the pair shrugging off his words, and he too departed alongside his companions.
Rice bowl seemed the popular choice of the day.

Notes and Stuff
I figure that with each chapter there will likely be two to three clubs per, they'd get their own mini title, and at the end I'd give a little Club note which refreshes the members and what they get up to. This is a slice of life and events won't particularly be in order or anything so even if there's an overlap of a character then it's likely things talked about weren't in the same day across clubs.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and look forward to more updates from me!
