Chapter 4!

Insert head canons about 1-B. That's basically what the first part of this chapter is. The second part is mainly me amusing myself.

Enjoy, more notes at the end!

Looks by the Books

*Kinoko POV*

"Based on what uniform or image would fit them rather than just what we know they like," Tokage suddenly said aloud, catching all of their attentions, "where could you see the others working if they didn't choose heroics?"

"Some of our classmates definitely look best in the outfits of the fields they like though," Kendo appraised seriously. "Or my image of them is from what they like," she tacked on but the other girl rolled with it.

"Fine, fine," the greenette waved off with a smirk, "any job they match that isn't a hero."

Kinoko laughed a little at that before settling into her thoughts like the others. She, Tokage, Kendo, and Yanagi made up the so called Fashion Club and regularly got together to chat about fashion related things. Because of that, it had become pretty common amongst them to think about outfits for their classmates rather than for themselves. It was always good fun and some of the other students would go to them for advice on clothes at times. They had even gotten the class to indulge them and do a few different category fashion shows that they could be the judges of.

They were hanging out in her room today, all of them grabbing some cushions and occupying the floor, and Kinoko would have thought more on what they tended to get up to but Tokage snapped a finger as she began the assessments.

"Awase carves a lot and he's really good at it," the sharp toothed girl grinned while the others imagined it alongside her. "He'd have his headband and a focused look on as a woodwork artisan," she said, framing out the situation, and Kinoko followed up.

"Kaibara would probably be a photographer since it's his hobby," the brunette voiced next, though she took a moment to contemplate further, "but I think he'd look good as an athlete too." At her own words, Kinoko imagined the boy with pleasant consideration, "maybe soccer or baseball," she softly smiled.

"Kamakiri would be a scientist," Kendo answered next, "you wouldn't think so from just seeing him but he actually really likes that stuff." The class rep paused momentarily, a hum escaping her lips as she thought, before going on, "pop him in a lab coat and that wouldn't look half bad."

The three of them who'd already gone aimed their attention toward Yanagi who coughed lightly, "Kuroiro is quite adept with his wording and prefers to remain locked within his own darkened quarters," she provided readily. "It seems that the path of a writer would suit him best as an alternative," she assured and Tokage made a noise before shooting a teasing grin towards the class rep.

"Kendo, you'd so be some kind of an instructor," the splitter laughed while Kinoko already got to imagining it. "Either a martial arts one or a gym teacher. You can even carry a kendo stick for good measure," Tokage poked cheekily and the three of them chuckled while Kendo softly grumbled at her statement.

"Kodai could absolutely be an airline stewardess or a police officer," Kinoko interjected, letting Kendo off the hook. "She's just got the perfect looks for those jobs," the brunette reasoned, getting a round of agreements from the other girls, and Yanagi spoke up right after.

"Komori, you would naturally follow an idol's path," the ghost like student appraised, especially since it was part of what Kinoko already wanted to do, but a glint entered her visible eye. "Although a coffee shop girl would be another position of appeal," Yanagi assured which made her blush for a second at the teasing compliment as the others mused at the jab.

"Shiozaki would be a nun or a baker right?" Kendo wondered as she re-positioned how she sat. "Maybe even a florist but I think those are her best matches," she finished as Kinoko took the next one on the list.

"Shishida is the neat but desk type," she grinned a little, "he's got to be a teacher or a librarian, hands down, with some sharp looking fit with a vest."

"Shoda probably fits either the office worker look or a chef at an izakaya," Tokage explained with a point of her finger, "I doubt he'd be in a more out there profession."

"Tsunotori loves trivia about Japanese landmarks so maybe a tour guide?" Kinoko figured, already smiling at the thought. "If I wasn't from Japan I'd feel pretty pumped by a fellow foreigner who was knowledgeable about the the sights we were seeing."

"Tsuburaba demands a concert band or orchestra," Yanagi mused confidently, "he plays many brass and woodwind instruments with great skill."

"Tetsu would so be a fire fighter," the splitting student informed, a look as if she was thinking of something coming to her face. "I asked him when we were younger and he said if he wasn't trying to be a hero then he'd be a fireman," she explained, leaning back and gazing up, "then again some kind of fighter fits too."

"Tokage, you'd be a model," Kendo teased back from earlier but there was a sense of earnestness to her words. "You've just got everything needed for it in my opinion and you'd look good in tons of different outfits," the class rep noted and they all shared a few giggles at Tokage's silly, flushed, smile.

"Fukidashi screams mangaka or comedian," Kinoko cut back in, sparing any more embarrassment once again, "he loves to draw and uses his head bubble when he delivers jokes."

"Honenuki could be some kind of physical trainer or better yet a doctor," the orange haired student offered, likely thinking of how he helped in the Fitness Club, "he has some of the skills for it already."

"Bondo has the frame for construction," Yanagi supplied but seemed to reconsider momentarily. "Though granted his hobby perhaps plastic model design instead," she substituted while Kinoko nudged her in a friendly manner.

"Yanagi you'd be a beautician," the brunette poked with a playful smile. "Or you'd ask me to come into a shaded backroom so you can read my fortune," she giggled which Yanagi only replied to with a smile of her eye.

"Monoma has got to be a bartender," Kendo added back in, a slight look of bemused exasperation at the name. "He's got the look for it and he'd constantly be chatting people up with all sorts of things," she laid out while the other three voiced their agreements.

With that however, they had come upon the final student and Kinoko locked eyes with Kendo who gained a more focused look. The brown haired girl noticed that Yanagi was also gazing back and forth from the both of them and they all waited patiently in hopes of Tokage beginning the conversation about the last student. Much as they expected, the out of the loop splitter huffed and laid back while picking up the topic.

"I can't see Midoriya as anything other than a part-time convenience store clerk who works nights and barely leaves her house," Tokage mumbled, blowing a raspberry as if it would help her think harder, and Yanagi struck first.

"She is mainly active at night and the dark hardly blocks her vision," the most reserved of them replied, laying it on a bit thick in Kinoko's opinion, but Tokage just gave a goofy smirk.

"Fire quirks right?" she laughed, completely missing the clues given to her, and Kinoko went with a more subtle approach.

"Some kind of slow clerk job for sure," she agreed, trying to be more natural. "Candy or snack store owner out in the countryside?" she tried, placing more emphasis on the location, but apparently that was a miss too.

"Imagine her with relatively straightened and neat hair, maybe do it with a ribbon, and a more peaceful expression," Kendo attempted next, urging the two who did know to answer along with her eyes, and the pair caught on immediately.

"Shrine maiden," Kinoko replied in unison with Yanagi but a confused noise sunk their hopes.

"Really? I don't see it," Tokage disagreed mildly. "Well, I guess I kinda can but it just doesn't match to me," she further explained and the three of them knew it was hopeless.

Kinoko liked Tokage, she really did, but the greenette was going to losing points with her soon.

The Art of Distraction

*Sen POV*

"That's...That's just not fair," Awase whispered as he peered up from his carving, "to anyone."

"That's an extra large too," Sen noted with a hint of amazement.

"Someone should check on Tokage," Fukidashi suggested cautiously but Sen shook his head.

"Don't even let Tokage out of her room honestly," he stated yet Bondo's small voice followed suit.

"Too late," the giant student mumbled just as Tokage wandered into the area.

It was a common occurrence for the Arts Club to meet up in the lounge and commandeer a table so the four of them could work on their preferred subjects. Awase was carving a new wood design, Fukidashi was practice his drawing, Bondo was building a new plastic model and Sen shifted through photographs of each of their projects while also going through shots he had taken around campus. As the resident photographer, he was the one mainly responsible for any photos of group events as well as, more commonly, assisting his fellow students individually or in their clubs when they wanted to visually document their hobbies. That said, he naturally had a good eye for spotting things and because the Arts Club gathered in the lounge he, and his fellow members, tended to play witness to the daily events in the 1-B dorms.

Although, the current event, that had gone on for an embarrassingly long enough time already, was one almost the entire class was invested in. The sole exceptions were the two it was centered around being Midoriya, who probably wasn't interested, and Tokage, who was out of the loop. Taking a moment to pause from his own tasks, Sen glanced over with the rest of the Arts Club members towards Midoriya and a now frozen in place but staring Tokage who were around the kitchen. Midoriya, who wasn't making things any easier for anyone, was finishing off an extra large drink that rested on her own bust of all things. The tall greenette sipped at the straw lazily before finally grabbing the empty cup and disposing of it while Tokage remained completely entranced. After a quick stretch, Midoriya suddenly yawned widely and Sen heard Awase click his tongue in a forced hush as he himself mentally groaned at Tokage's diverted attention.

"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me," Awase hissed in disbelief, "she missed that?"

"There's two large reasons for why," Fukidashi joked, though deadpanning his delivery, and the headband wearing boy rested his cheek in his hand as he frowned.

"She's looking at her tits again," he grunted, "and I want to blame her but I can't." Awase stared slightly, his gaze drifting towards what caught all of their notices, before relenting. "Not with that," he sighed and the rest of them silently agreed.

Sen doubted that Midoriya had bought it herself, in fact he had a good idea who got it for her, but she, for whatever reason, was currently wearing a shirt with the words 'Sugoi Dekai' emblazoned right on the chest. If the drink hadn't already done it then her shirt cemented that Tokage wasn't figuring it out today. He knew that Midoriya probably just found the piece of clothing mildly amusing but her actions were currently working against many of them in terms of having Tokage finally realize what they all wanted her to. Sen contemplated a bit more but he quickly spotted some movement and noticed a certain horned blonde who had a hand in the current issue.

"Tsunotori," he called, waving her over, "why do you keep gifting those to her?" he gestured and his classmate winked.

"It's really funny," the horned girl beamed, letting a strong laugh leave her mouth alongside her words. "I got a few others for her that are in English," she informed before going on, "and some hats for Kodai."

"You did it to distract Tokage too I bet," Sen called out, shaking his head a little at her hardly hidden motive, but it didn't appear to bother her.

"My guess is on the later side," Tsunotori replied honestly and Sen heard Awase groan at the words.

"Shit," the headband wearing student groused. "My guess is coming up soon," he complained as Fukidashi raised up from his drawing while stretching his fingers.

"She's never going to figure it out at this rate," he chimed in, his speech bubble showing question marks to make his point, and Bondo nodded timidly.

"It is unlikely," the gentle giant of a student agreed which got another huff from Awase.

"Just our luck," he snickered, almost amused, "the only person who can distract Tokage is the same as the one we need Tokage to notice something about."

"Usually that'd be a good thing," Sen noted, finding the idea a bit funny himself.

"Who has the last guess?" Awase questioned curiously, aiming his words over to Tsunotori who had taken a seat next to them.

"Tsuburaba," the blonde murmured in response.

"Now I know why he was so confident," Awase snorted and there was a chorus of agreeing hums before they slowly went back to their individual practices.

Well, when Tokage did finally notice then Sen would absolutely have a camera on him.

Notes and Stuff

The idea that Pony buys meme clothes, mostly in English, for the others is hilarious to me. She does it for most of them but Izumi and Yui are the ones who actually wear them regularly around the dorms. Also I think this is the most 'down bad' version of Setsuna I've written.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and look forward to more updates from me!
