When everything seemed to be going well, a new threat presents itself. When a sudden surprise attack destroys their home, Ellie finds herself in great danger. After being saved by a masked individual, she is forced to find a new refugee for herself and the other survivors which leads them into the middle of a war in Seattle. 24. Chapter 23

Chapter 7: Fee-fi-fo-fum (2/4)

Fox Boy:

"How do you know that?!" Jesse asked him while holding his Kimber Custom.

"He used to say that to me when I was younger." It was a quote from Jack and the Beanstalk, but he changed from Englishman to Danish Boy. "This might have been a trap to lead us here." That was his conclusion due to some of the signs.

"Great." Dina spoke up. "What do we do?"

Fox Boy grabbed his F2000 and reloaded in order to prepare himself to move forward.

"Where are you going?" Maria asked him.

"He is watching us right now," That was obvious to him. "Staying here will only make us an easy target." Jester could have easily planted hidden explosives in the area or he could be waiting to surprise them with his flamethrower. Both possibilities were very unpleasant and he would rather avoid them.

"Fuck..." Ellie touched her face in deep annoyance before holding Geralt's MPX. Then she moved to look at Mel, Owen, Manny and Nora, who were all mourning the death of Jordan.

Unfortunately, Jordan wasn't going to survive. The bleeding on his legs were too much, alongside the fact that he was probably infected.

That, however, made Fox Boy remember something. Which caused him to approach the unconscious Leah.

"What are you doing?" Mel asked him after she and Owen moved their heads to look at him.

"She was bitten." Fox Boy revealed to them.

The moment he said that, everyone, primarily Leah's friends looked at him with strange looking expressions.

"¿¡Que mierda estás hablando!?" Manny immediately limped towards them.

Fox Boy then lifted Leah's T-shirt up and showed him a bite mark on the upper half of her belly. "Antes de pasar por ese agujero, uno de ellos la atacó."

"Oh god... No!" Mel yelled in response as she approached Leah.

Fox Boy stood up as the rest of them approached her.

Nora touched her face and looked away after she saw the bite mark.

Owen only gave it a look of pure disbelief.

"Jesus..." Maria rubbed her forehead as she watched the other group gather around Leah. "Listen, if Fox Boy is right, that psycho clown may be waiting to attack." She spoke to Jesse, Ellie, Dina and Tommy.

"What do we do then?" Dina asked as she held her Browning BDA. Strangely, Fox Boy noticed that she seemed to be on edge.

"Fox Boy, I'm gonna need you to climb to the roof of the house and check the area." Maria pointed towards the house where those words were written on and told him to basically check the area.

"Alright." Fox Boy did what she said without complaint because Jester probably planted traps on the place.

Slowly, he made his way towards the house in order to climb to the roof. However, just when he was a few steps away from it, he realized something. A painfully familiar noise coming from the wall where the words "Fee-fi-fo-fum" were written.

"Get down." Causing Fox Boy to immediately throw himself into the ground.

"Wha-" Before they could question the reason why, out of complete nowhere, the loud sound of gunfire was heard and to their shock, they could see bullets coming out of the wall in a horizontal line.

"Holy!" Jesse immediately launched himself and managed to tackle Ellie and Dina into the ground.

Tommy stumbled backwards and fell, thankfully pulling Maria into the ground with him.

"AHH!" Mel, who was kneeling down on the ground, laid on it and covered her head.

"No!" Owen shielded her by getting on top of her.

Manny also got done and began firing at the wall, not realizing that there wasn't someone behind it.

Nora also got done and began firing.

As the incoming fire continued, Fox Boy crawled towards the wall where the incoming fire was coming from. It was shooting non-stop horizontally, fortunately, it was high enough so they could avoid it by staying on the ground. Once he reached the wall, he immediately made his way to the wall, he got into a crouching position and immediately moved to the right.

Ellie Williams:

After they all got to the ground to avoid the bullets that were clearly coming from a machine gun. They all remained on the same spot as the Albino Weirdo slowly made his way to the corner in order to reach the right side of the house.

"Fuck!" Ellie yelled due to the loud sound of the gunfire. "We got to do something!"

"Just stay down and let Fox Boy handle this!" Jesse instructed her as he kept looking at the wall with his pistol ready.

"Yeah, it's onl-" Before Dina could say anything as well, the gunfire suddenly stopped. "See." Dina was relieved that Fox Boy was able to stop the gunfire. "Cute Boy, is it clear?" She asked out loud.

"Yes." They heard the Albino Weirdo's voice.

With that, Jesse stood up from the ground and began to move towards the house. "Check if the others are okay." He told Ellie and Dina he moved towards the house while holding his pistol.

Fox Boy:

"Hmmm..." Once he made his way into the house, Fox Boy was able to see the source of the gunfire. Located at the other side of the wall, there was a M1917 Browning machine gun there. Though, around the tripod, there was a strange looking battery connected to what appeared to be a rotation system, that practically turned the weapon into a turret.

"You okay?" Suddenly, he heard Jesse's voice coming from behind him.

"Yes." Fox Boy replied.

Jesse stood beside him and looked at the Browning M1917 "Is that..."

"It's a M1917 Browning machine gun mounted on a tripod that has been turned into a turret by Jester." Fox Boy could tell that this wasn't actually done in a hurry, Jester probably had this prepared for them way before they got there. If he is not mistaken, the turret was activated by a remote control, so Jester is probably watching them right now.

"You think there's more of those?" Jesse asked him as he looked around the completely empty house.

"Yes, there are definitely more traps around." Fox Boy was already searching for another since he was almost certain that Jester left another one in the house.

It turns out that he was correct, because a very strange noise was heard by them. With Jesse and Fox Boy immediately moving their heads up because it was coming from above them on the second floor of the house.

The two of them moved their heads to look at each other, before Fox Boy pulled out his F2000 and began to move towards the stairs that were just a few steps away from the Browning M1917 . With Jesse following behind him with his Kimber Custom at hand. Very slowly, they reached the stairs with Fox Boy having his assault rifle ready.

Fox Boy took each step as carefully as possible, searching for any sign of booty traps that Jester might have left. The stairs turned out to be clear since they were able to reach the top with no trouble. However, that strange noise was heard by them again as soon as they stepped into the second floor of that empty house.

There was only a single door upstairs, located in the middle of a small corridor. Fox Boy quietly approached that door , half expecting a trap on the other side. "Stand back, there might be a trap on the other side." He informed Jesse.

"Or there might be someone, because those were the sounds of steps." Jesse pointed out since the sounds did indeed seem to be steps.

But Fox Boy was certain that there was no one else in the house. So he slowly approached the door and prepared himself to enter the room. Rotating the door knob and gently pushing the door open.

"Hmmm..." Jesse moved to peek inside once the door was open.

It turns out that there was absolutely nothing inside. Nothing other than a strange looking map hanging on the wall in front of them and what appeared to be some kind of remote control toy car , which was the source of the noise that they heard. The toy car was another indication that Jester was watching them, because the range in those things wasn't that high.

"Is this...?" Jesse asked as he approached the strange looking map. "I think it's a map of the town."

The map was very poorly made, which Fox Boy could tell that it wasn't done by Jester. Indicating that he just found and put it on the wall. It showcased a large wall surrounding several poorly drawn houses indicating the town or whatever that settlement is supposed to be was completely composed of custom built houses. But the thing that called the most attention on that, were three markings on the map. One was a point that had a very detailed drawing of Fox Boy's mask in it, located in the lower left of the map inside one of the poorly drawn houses.

"This is where we are." Fox Boy was quick to figure out what that mark meant.

"That's obvious, but what the hell do these other two mean?" Jesse asked him as he pointed at the other two marks on the map.

There were two more marks on the map besides the one where they were located. One was located on the top of the map while the other was located on the far right.

"I don't know." There wasn't any drawing or writing on it, so he didn't know what exactly those two markings were supposed to be showing.

Suddenly, both of them were startled by a sound coming from behind them. Looking back, they saw that the toy car began to move once again. The remote control toy car moved towards a door located on the right side of the room, a closet door.

Fox Boy and Jesse looked at one another for a second, before they both approached the door with their weapons ready. It only took them six steps to get near the door and Fox Boy stood in front of it with his F2000 ready. Jesse slowly approached the door and extended his hand to get it open.

Jesse signalled him with his fingers.

One...

Two...

Three...

Before he opened the door and aimed his pistol at it.

However, there was nothing inside.

Nothing other than something written on the wall with red paint.

L'horloge tourne.

"What does that mean?" Jesse asked him since it was written in french.

"Clock is ticking." The moment he said that, he realized what it meant. "Those two marks are bomb locations."

Jesse widened his eyes before looking at the map again. "Oh shit!" Cursing it out loud before moving close. "They're on the wall." Looking closely, they could actually see that the marks were right on the wall that surrounded the settlement.

"If the wall is destroyed, the horde outside will get inside and we will have no means of escaping them." Moving his head once again to look at the time below the words in french. "The bombs are going to explode in an hour."

"AH SHIT!" Jesse cursed once again. "Come on!" Before he rushed out of the room and Fox Boy followed behind him.

The two of them ran as quickly as they could outside, descending down the stairs and reaching the door that they used to get inside. Once they stepped outside, they saw everyone.

"What is going on?!" Maria asked as she watched them run towards them.

"That clown put bombs on the wall, if it blows up, that horde is gonna get inside!" Jesse was quick to answer Maria's question.

"What?!" Dina asked in deep shock.

"One in the north, the other in the east." Fox Boy added. "And it's going to explode in an hour."

Ellie approached them. "What are we gonna do?!"

"Ummm..." Jesse looked at Fox Boy for a second before speaking. "Him and I are going for the one in the north since it's the farthest one while you guys go for the one in the east which is closer." That was his solution.

"And do what?!" Dina asked him. "We don't really know how to disarm a bomb!"

"You may not have to." Fox Boy decided to speak up in response. "It might be an explosive which you can pick up and move it far away from the wall." Jester has a preference for these kinds of bombs for some reason.

"We'll manage somehow , just go!" Maria told them since they're wasting time.

Ellie Williams:

After getting awful news that there were bombs on the wall that was separating them from the large horde. Jesse and Fox Boy ran away from them in order to get to the explosives located in the north.

As they watched as they ran, Ellie moved her head to look at the others. "Wait, but where exactly is the bomb?!"

"Jesse said that it was at the east, which means that way. Maria pointed out while pointing in the direction with her index finger.

"Hey." Suddenly, Owen came closer to them. "What's going on?" Everyone else was surrounding the unconscious girl.

"The clown guy from that video is here and he put bombs on the wall." Dina explained to him. "And it's going to explode in an hour if we don't do anything."

"What!?" He was visibly surprised by what he heard.

"We're wasting time." Tommy spoke up. "We gotta move." Before he proceeded to move towards the same direction that the boys went in order to get past the house.

"He's right, come on." Dina followed behind him.

"Look, just deal with your friend while we deal with this." Maria was referring to the fact that the girl that Ellie stabbed, Leah, was bitten.

Maria then left after Tommy and Dina. "Keep your fucking eyes open, that clown psycho might come at you guys with a flamethrower."

Owen was clearly horrified by what she said, but Ellie didn't care, she just ran to follow her people with the submachine gun at hand.

Fox Boy:

Fox Boy and Jesse ran as fast as they could through the strange settlement that they encountered. The night was dark and the snow was still going strongly. But they had to fight through it in order to get to their destination.

Their surroundings were covered in darkness, but the way forward was completely clear. However, one detail didn't escape Fox Boy notice. The fact that there were no signs of combat in the area. Despite the darkness, there should be some signs of gunfire, blood, corpses and destruction. But he saw nothing, which prompted him to stop and pull out his Mark 23 and use it's flashlight to illuminate the area to try to find something, but he saw nothing.

"What is it?" Jesse noticed his confusion and stopped running as well.

"No signs of battle, destruction or death." He told Jesse as he illuminated the building, curbs, and street.

Jesse looked around just like he did. "Wait, if the Normandies attacked this place..." He realized the exact same thing.

Fox Boy continued to illuminate the area, until he saw something from a distance. Causing him to pause for a second.

Jesse noticed and moved his head to look as well. "What is..." Before he ran towards it.

"Wait." Fox Boy ran after him while placing his handgun back on the holster.

The two of them ran very quickly, until they reached the thing that they saw. It turned out to be some kind of storage building, just like the one they had back in Jackson.

"What the hell?" Jesse asked in confusion as the door was wide open and the entire floor was covered in strange looking hooks that had loads of ropes attached to them.

"Don't go inside." Fox Boy immediately knew what that was. NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN! NOT AGAIN!

"Why not?" Jesse asked him, apparently afraid.

"There are people hanging on those ropes." Fox Boy revealed to him.

Jesse widened his eyes after hearing what he said. But he didn't do what Fox Boy said and moved to actually see.

However, he only took a single step past the door and looked into the ceiling. Before he started hyperventilating, rushing back outside and vomiting on the Fox Boy's boots.

"Oh god! Oh god! Oh god!" Jesse was on his knees, shaking completely. With the Albino Boy simply standing there, looking at his distraught friend. And Jesse moved his head up to look at him. "Th-th-the-t-they..." He was stuttering, having a lot of difficulty speaking. "THEY EVEN HANGED THE BABIES!" Yelling at the top of his lungs was the only way he could bring himself to say it.

Fox Boy could only close his eyes in response to that, despite already knowing.

"And you should have seen the parent's faces when it happened." Both boys widened their eyes and moved their heads to look at the door once again. Only to get startled by the fact that Jester was standing there with his hands behind his back. "Say cheese!" Before he revealed that he was hiding his HK69A1, which he used to fire at Fox Boy.

With the grenade landing perfectly into Fox Boy's stomach, causing him to stumble backwards and fall into the snow right away. However, the lack of an explosion indicated that it wasn't an explosive grenade.

"Shit!" Jesse immediately stood up after Fox Boy fell. "You fucking psy-" And attempt to aim his Kimber Custom at him. Unfortunately, before he could aim properly, Jester tossed his HK69A1 at Jesse's face. He managed to dodge but that left him open to receive a Jumping Spinning Crescent Kick kick to the face, causing him to fall to the side. "Ahhh..."

"I was hoping that you idiots were at least a little smarter than him." Jester stomped on Jesse's hand until he let go of the pistol. With him kicking the weapon away as soon as Jesse let go of it. "But sadly, I overestimated your intelligence since you all did exactly what I was expecting you imbeciles to do."

"What?" Jesse asked him in confusion. "AH!" Before he was kicked in the ribcage by Jester.

"There is no bomb you dumbass." Jester revealed to them as he began to stomp on Jesse's torso. "Well... There was one, but it already exploded."

"Ahh... The front gate." Jesse responded to what Jester said while grunting in pain.

"Bingo!" Jester opened his arms widely, before he performed a moonsault double stomp.

"AAAAAH!" With Jesse screaming in pain as he was crushed by Jester's feet. Then he jumped backwards.

"I guess you're not as stupid as I thought, Jesse." He sounded considerably happy with that. "I can see why he's your second favorite." It was directed at Fox Boy.

Fox Boy was lying on the ground with an immense pain on his stomach due to the grenade that he took. He was having trouble breathing and by the force of it he was almost certain that he had internal bleeding. Moving his head to look, he saw that he was hit by a sponge grenade, bullet-shaped, with a foam rubber nose and a high-density, plastic projectile body.

"Shit, are you-" Jesse tried to speak with him, but before he could finish, Jester kicked his face.

"Quiet you." Jester spoke as he stood up and approached Fox Boy. "Hmmmm..." Strangely, he actually grabbed Fox Boy and made him sit up, which wasn't a good idea due to the pain in his stomach. Fox Boy simply ignored the pain for a bit as Jester proceeded to take the tactical vest off of him. Then he grabbed his F2000, the BFR and his Schiavona.

"What are you doing?" Jesse asked him.

"Taking back what's mine." After he said that, he turned around and proceeded to toss the Schiavona and the vest into the ground and use the F2000 one-handed.

With the two boys just watching as Jester unloads the bullpup rifle into the sword and vest , shattering the blade into pieces with each shot while doing a considerable amount of damage on the vest before the weapon runs out of bullets. "My! My! MY! That feels really good!" He yelled loudly before he dismantled the F2000. "You know, these are practically the worst weapons I produced." That was a truthful declaration as he tossed the parts into the building that he came out from. "But that was on purpose, Reaper wanted you to have the worst weapons possible to see how well you could handle a situation with crappy equipment." He revealed to him before pushing him into the ground with his feet. "This one isn't mine though." He pulled his Mark 23 from the holster and tossed to the other side unlike the other ones.

Fox Boy wasn't exactly surprised by what Jester said, as he always felt like there was something odd about his weapons.

His FN F2000 was poorly balanced and way too heavy due to the shotgun attachment that was modeled after the Franchi SPAS-12, the sight didn't exactly suit the weapon at all which made it difficult to aim properly, the trigger was way too light making it difficult to control the fire rate of the weapon at times.

His Schiavona was of good quality, but there was a big problem with it. Fox Boy knew nothing of Italian fencing, so he had to improvise most of the time with it. He eventually managed to learn how to use it well enough, but he still thinks he would fare better with a different kind of blade.

His Magnum Research BFR, there was nothing wrong with it but the weapon was just too big to be practical for maneuvering in most situations and the caliber was just too much for him since the recoil was way too powerful for someone of his build to handle properly.

"What is with you crazy assholes!?" Suddenly, Jesse asked in anger. "You hit, cut, shoot, shock, burn and do a bunch of nasty shit with him, and for what?!"

"Hmmmm..." Jester holds the BFR in his hand and uses it to scratch his head. "I don't know about the others." Before he fired at Jesse with the shot missing his leg by a few inches.

"AH!" With Jesse being startled by it and trying to crawl away.

"I do it because I enjoy it." Jester revealed to them as he fired another shot, missing Jesse's arm by three inches.

"Ah!" With Jesse grunting and crawling away.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He fired another shot while laughing, missing Jesse's torso by an inch as Jesse continued to crawl away in fear. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He continued to laugh maniacally before firing, missing Jesse's genitals by two inches. "Fear,fear,fear, I cannot live without seeing the faces of fear that you miserable insects make." Jester told him while approaching Jesse. As soon as he was close enough, Jester pressed the barrel of the BFR into Jesse's forehead.

With Jesse shaking in fear. "Get it over with..." He closed his eyes and accepted his fate.

"No..." Fox Boy tried to speak but he had no way of doing anything to prevent it.

"Nah..." Jester moved the barrel away from Jesse's forehead and instead placed the muzzle less than a hand's width away from his ear. . "You're not the one I want." Before he fired the .50 Action Express bullet way too close to Jesse's ear.

"AAAAHHHHHH!" With the very loud noise visibly causing extreme pain on him. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" With him screaming in agony while covering his ears and rolling on the ground.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Jester only laughed in response to Jesse's pain. "Well, that was fun." He declared before he smashed the but of the revolver into Jesse's forehead, knocking him out completely before tossing the BFR away, right into the pieces of his dismantled F2000.

Fox Boy, not liking what just happened, decided to ignore his pain and stand up. With all his might, he forced himself to stand in order to try to do anything to help Jesse. However, as soon as he was on his feet, he was greeted by Jester charging at him and delivering a Jump Double Front Kick into Fox Boy's face, sending him into the ground once again.

"How noble, you want to help your little friend." Jester spoke as he stood over him. "Except it's actually pretty pathetic." He pressed his foot on top of his stomach. "Did you know that they were actually planning on ditching you as soon as they found a safe place?"

In truth, Fox Boy already knew that, he just didn't care. He wanted to help them no matter what.

"You did, didn't you?" And Jester realized and seemed surprised by it. "Mon Dieu, you really are hopeless." He said that while pressing his foot on his stomach, making his pain much worse. "But don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt him any further." Despite the awful pain that was felt by having the pressure of Jester's foot on his damaged stomach, he felt relieved by hearing that. "It's Dina that I'm gonna hurt now." Before he was presented with that horrible revelation.

Fox Boy widened his eyes in response to that. "No..."

"What's that?" He didn't hear him properly.

"No." Fox Boy responded to what he said.

"Aaaawwwwnnnnn..." Jester held his hands together and placed them next to his face. "That would be so cute if it weren't from the fact that she probably thinks you are retarded or something." He removed his foot from his stomach. "But don't worry, I promise to give her back once I'm done, not exactly in one piece but cl-"

As soon as Jester said those words, Fox Boy while still on the ground, pressed both of his feet on his hips while simultaneously cupping both of his ankles with his hands. Performing a tripod sweep that managed to push Jester to the ground.

"What the?" Jester seemed surprised. "That was almost imp-" As he spoke in response however, Fox Boy pulled out the kunai that was left for him by Reaper in a reverse grip and used to stab Jester's thigh with full force with it. "OH!" Before he actually pulled the kunai and stabbed Jester's stomach with it. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" However, all he did was laugh in response to the blade piercing through his body. "THAT WAS QUITE THE SHOCKING REACTION!"

Fox Boy was about to try to stab him again, unfortunately, before he could do anything else. Jester actually pulled out something from inside his outfit. "BBBBZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz..."

Jester actually pulled out a taser which he used to shock him. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" With Jester's maniacal laughter echoing through his ear as he fell head first into the ground once again as Jester continued to shock him with the taser. "Thank you for the very forgettable experience!" Jester told the Albino Boy before he actually pushed him off of him. "Also, a Ninja knife, this is so cliché..." He mocked him as he pulled the kunai off his stomach like it was absolutely nothing and tossed into the building alongside the rest of his weapon.

"Mmmmm..." Fox Boy grunted as his body wasn't responding properly. "BBBBBZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..." Made it worse by the fact that Jester continued to shock him with the taser, which was a Air Taser Model 34000.

"Well, well, well..." Jester removed the taser from his neck and approached his ear. "Daddy Reaper is gonna be so happy to hear that you finally grew a pair." He said that while patting his head for some reason.

Jester then stood up from the floor, despite the fact that he was bleeding from a stab wound in his leg and stomach. Then he moved towards his HK69A1, picking it up off the ground and reloading it with a grenade.

"Since I'm also impressed that you finally grew a pair, I'll let your little girlfriend be for now." Jester said that to Fox Boy before he actually aimed his HK69A1 towards the building. "But when I do get to play with her, I might end up breaking her." Before he actually fired a 40mm grenade into the building.

The grenade exploded inside the storage room that was filled with hanging corpses, with fire beginning to erupt from the ground as soon as the loud explosion happened. With the whole place slowly engulfing in flames afterwards. With Fox Boy just watching as the hanged corpses began to fall from the ceiling right into the flames. Men, women, children and even babies, something that brought back the worst kind of memories.

"Thinking about Nicola and Bart?" Jester asked him while he kneeled in front of him.

Fox Boy buried his face on the snow after hearing those names.

"If you ask me, it was a waste." Jester admitted to him. "Wolfgang had it coming, but Misery..." He pulled Fox Boy's hood down. "They should have just given her to you." And began to run his fingers through his hair. "You could have married her and the two of you could have raised the twins together as a family."

...

...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" After saying that, Jester bursted into laughter. "Sorry, I couldn't resist." He then grabbed Fox Boy's wavy hair and pulled it. "Truth is, you're better off without her because she was nothing but dead weight." Then he pushed his head into the snow again. "Dina, she seemed to be something else, but that is yet to be seen."

Jester then let go of his head and stood up from the ground. "Reaper has ordered us to let you and your little friends be for now." He pressed his feet on Fox Boy's face. "He didn't actually specify for how long, but trust me, when the time comes..." Then he applied pressure on it, putting his weight on his head. "We will each take our time in playing with each of your new friends." The light of the flames illuminated his mask as he approached his face. "And I call dibs on Dina." The menacing smile that was displayed on his mask became even more frightening as a result of it.

"Hmmm..." Fox Boy could only grunt in response as he could barely move his body.

Jester then removed his foot from his head. "Oh, and don't get upset about the weapons." He told him that after straightening up. "You will find all the tools you need scattered around this place to make yourself some new weapons." That was his advice to him. "Just do me a favor..." Then he kneeled down once again. Despite his claim to contrary Fox Boy was very calm this chapter since he had time to give the exact name of the grenade launchers being used and eating jelly babies and giving a full explanation of why he was eating them in the middle of escaping the horde

Even at the end there when he told everyone frankly yeah we aren't safe Jester is here still calm

Hope the next chapter as Fox and Jester saying hello to each other and Jester confessing if they survive the encounter he like the other masked ones is a bit curious to see what Fox Boy will do with himself now who knows Jester might even say good luck to Fox Boy before trying to kill them all

The joint groups are now on the run now that the countdown was over. Driving for their lives, given their vehicles were covered in some sort of liquid that attracts the infected. The best bet is to find a place to lay low and get as far from the vehicles as possible until the heat cools down. Sadly the entrance to a community place was blocked and they had to abandon their vehicles early. Now they have a new problem to deal with... Jester whose in the area.

They lost Jordan who got chewed at the bottom half of him trying to get past the entrance blocked by rubble. Another thing for the crew to be upset with Abby about given they are there because of her.

Jester is in town, and there's no telling what twisted games he has lined for them. Given Dina's lost hand in the sneak peak, I'd say bad. I'm sure Dina's lost hand was Jester's handy work, and who knows what else he did. Sure hope Jester dies, given what he did to all of those people.

Not sure its a good idea for Fox Boy to delete the videos about the Normandies, especially when they need it to show to Isaac to show an idea on how dangerous the Normandies are.

Speaking of sneak peak, well Fox Boy, Ellie and Dina are acting on their feelings. Fox Boy gets his own name, which is a major step forward to him no longer being defined by the Normandies. Question how does he get his name, does someone give it to him, or does he just decide to do it himself.

Jester just wanted Fox Boy for now, but later his target will be someone else.
