"Here we are! Casa De Blitz!" Blitzo said as he opened the door to his apartment home. Along with carrying five shopping bags in each hand. Each filled with a multitude of things for Loona.
"Geez," she said seeing her new home. Which wasn't all that much. "With the amount cash you just blew, figured you might have more than some apartment,"
"Saving the big bucks for our upcoming business venture," Blitzo said "Though this is your Adoption Day, almost like your second birthday. And money's no object when it comes to my Loonie,"
"Ugh!" Loona said snapping and grabbing Blitzo by his horns, hoisting him up "What's you're deal huh!? You spent all this cash! Got me new clothes! You even took me to that salon to stylize my hair! What's the catch!? Am I your sex slave or something? Am I supposed to guard your crummy little home? What?"
"Catch?" Blitzo asked "There is no catch,"
"Oh don't give me that," Loona said "I've seen plenty of Hellhounds come and go from those kennels. And they're all doing somebody's dirty work. Hell you saw them at that mall. That one at the burgers hop mopping up. Or that other attacking that shoplifter. We don't even show up on the hierarchy of demons, imp's are the lowest of the low. Hellhounds don't even make the list."
The newly adopted canine put her owner down, and fell to her knees, tears in her eyes as she buried her face in her hands.
"Sniff... Nobody wanted me for so long. And now, suddenly, I just get a whole new life? It just doesn't..."
Blitzo put his hand on Loona's shoulder. "I... I know what it feels like to have everything taken away from you. I've lost everything I cared about recently too. A close friend, my family. When I saw you in that kennel... Your eyes, they..."
Loona looked up as Blitzo. Now wearing a caring face, one that said he was here for her. This imp, he wasn't just looking for a property. He wanted to help her, to not have her experience the same sorrow he'd felt in life.
"C'mon, want to see your new room?" Blitzo asked extending a hand out to her
Loona simply dried her tears off and got
"You're one weird imp Blitzo," Loona said
"It's Blitz, the O is silent," Blitzo said "Though I'll also accept dad,"
"Don't push it," Loona said
