Chapter 4: Time to go to work

As night falls the GCPD receives a report from the docks that a frozen cargo ship docked and all the passengers encased in ice Gordon was horrified to give the Bat-Signal.

In Bruce's office he was brooding in the dark basically about Selina but would find her soon after he IDs the trace on her phone the Batcomputer

But the Dark room lit up being shined on Bruce turned around…

Seeing the Bat-Signal out his window.

Bruce stood up staring out to the Bat-Signal the Batman needed.

At Gotham University Dick was sleeping on a table in the library till his watch beeped…

He snorted, sitting up seeing it go off. It was the same type of watch Bruce had to communicate with Alfred and Lucius had made him one too.

He answered the minute he stood up.

"Yes Alfred?" Dick asked.

"Master Bruce needs your help Master Dick." Alfred said.

"Understood. Moving out now." Dick said.

Dick runs out springing into action leaving his stuff behind…

Once he was outside he saw the Bat-Signal.

Bruce opens a bottom drawer with a button inside when he pressed it.

The center of the floor opens automatically and what levitated up was a tube containing the Batsuit.

Dick came out to an alleyway coming from a dumpster he calls out on a speaker from his pocket.

"Cover down." Dick said.

The dumpster opens up like the Batmobile shields from 89 and Returns revealing for the first time in this series the Robin Cycle.

He then places his hand on the scanner between the panels pop opening the trunk where Dick pulls out the Robin suit.

Bruce and Dick suit up at their locations soon…

Batman and Robin.

Fully suited, ready for action.

In a tunnel under Wayne Tower the Batmobile lights up its eye lights and takes off through the tunnel and out in the city.

Robin punches it riding off into the city.

Robin tracked the Batmobile on his radar and joined up with it minutes later.

Batman looks out his window nodding to him as they ride through the city all the way to the GCPD.

Soon as they arrived the Dynamic Duo exited their vehicles Robin approached Batman for what the case is tonight.

"What's the trouble now? The Mob? Catwoman? Or we finally got evidence against Boyle." Robin said.

"We'll see." Batman said.

The Caped Crusaders shoot their grapples and zoom all the way up to the GCPD roof where Gordon waited for them.

"Jim." Batman said.

"Your timing is always inept." Gordon said.

"Lucky you for you we were in the neighborhood." Robin said.

"Then maybe you two should consider sharing phone numbers. But right now we have a big case." Gordon said.

"Is it Selina?" Batman asked.

"I almost wish it was her. No, we received a report from the docks that a cargo ship was found…frozen." Gordon said.

"In this heat wave?" Robin asked.

"Believe me I was the same thing as you. The crew members were all cased in ice. Don't ask how I don't even know. But we don't know if they're dead or alive." Gordon said.

"We'll look into it. But any suspects?" Batman asked.

"Sadly it's unknown if there are or just some freak accident. I'll tell you all the years I've been working in the force I sometimes question my sanity." Gordon said.

"We'll head over to the docks." Robin said.

"Should warn ya Bullock's already on the side. He's not trying to arrest you anymore but he hasn't fully warmed up to you…" Gordon said.

Gordon turns around and Batman and Robin are already gone…

"Always on the move." Gordon said.

From above Gordon was being watched through binoculars across from him.

It was a Female figure in an appearance like Batman who was spying on him while talking to Batman and Robin.

Who is she? What is she? A friend…or foe?

Whoever she was, she leaps down disappearing behind the building.

Meanwhile the Batmobile and Robin Cycle road their way to the docks while on the road Bruce and Dick talk through communication.

"A FROZEN SHIP?! IN THE HEATWAVE?" Robin called.

"It's not the first time something was out of the ordinary. Before your time the Penguin attached rockets on actual Cobblepot's, compelling them to stroll into Gotham Square." Batman said.

"WONDER WHAT'S NEXT?! CROCZILLA?! GIANT MUD MONSTERS?! OR NACHER WITCHES?!" Robin called.

"Wait long enough and you'll find out." Batman said.
