Chapter 7:
Ben was now standing there, thinking about what Gwen was saying. Then he got a phone call and figures it might be Gwen or his grandpa.
"Gwen," asks Ben.
"Hello Ben."
"Who are you," asks Ben.
"Someone who wants to meet you. Come to the swamp of Florida. We're in an abandoned observatory. If you don't get here, you may never see your cousin or grandfather again." He then hangs up.
...
"I can't believe we've been captured by a cliched mad scientist," says Gwen.
"You do have to admit," says Max, "this guy goes all out."
"You better pray that he gets here," says Dr. Animo.
Then Ben comes as Wildmutt.
"Ben," Gwen and Max say.
"Hello Ben," says Dr. Animo, "or should I call you Heatblast, Wildmutt, Diamondhead, XLR8, Grey Matter, Four Arms, Stinkfly, Ripjaws, Upgrade, or Ghostfreak?" Wildmutt growls. "I wouldn't do anything if I were you... or do you want your family to be eaten alive?" Wildmutt then sees that Gwen and Max are surrounded by mutants. "That's a good boy." The watch then times out. "Now, come with me."
"What do you want," asks Ben.
"Your arm," says Dr. Animo.
...
Dr. Animo then studies Ben's watch. "Incredible," says Dr. Animo, "this watch is like a buffet of DNA! No one will ever doubt Dr. Aloysius Animo ever again!"
"I'm sorry, your name is Animo, and you mutate animals," asks Gwen, "do you even realize how much of a coincidence that is?"
"Do you ever shut up," asks Dr. Animo, "no wonder the boy didn't listen to you!"
"You won't get away with this," says Ben.
"With my new DNA Transmodulator, I will create the perfect creatures!" Dr. Animo then walks towards a bat. "They will all pay for their mockery!" He then blasts the bat, and it turns to a Heatblast like bat.
"Heatblast gone batty," says Ben.
"Heatbat," says Dr. Animo, "thank you for helping me with that. You come up with such amusing names. You know, as annoying as she is, your cousin is right. If you were with your family, you could've easily overpowered me, but you were too busy showing off." Ben then looks down. "Oh, and I lied. My pets are still going to eat them. Bye." Dr. Animo and Heatbat then leave.
Ben looks as the mutants get closer to Gwen and Max. Ben then attempts to get the watch going.
