Finally, after weeks of continuous skyping with Lauren Bo has been present and been trying to be patient. Lauren would courteously ask questions and Bo delightedly answer.
"Hi Lauren." Bo confidently greeted her and Lauren would stare at her for a few moments and muster with a little smile "How are you Bo?"
Except the second time they had skyped, she refrained from telling Lauren (if that was a good idea) she had broken up with Dyson. Bo felt Lauren had erected a cold arctic wall between them. She's thinking by constant skyping with Lauren, she will realize Bo is there as her friend. Hopefully there will be a chance for their relationship to bloom despite the fact Lauren is keeping Bo at arm's length. She is reading Lauren's aura towards her is lessening each time they skype, even her succubus is worried.
Bo kept reminding herself foremost is to be her friend and work her way into her heart again if there is a chance. Not knowing someone slowly had work into her heart.
"I'm fine. The PI business is booming. But I…well…Kenzi and I are thinking of expanding our PI into something more with the times."
Lauren arched her eyebrow indicating she's pique at this news. "What do you mean with the times?"
Kenzi interjected, "More like tech, Hotpants. We're thinking working with electronics-internet and security for homes, too. —Surveillance." She's so excited telling Lauren what's happening with them. AND, Bo is making the effort of getting along, well trying. Kenzi can see how Lauren is a bit wary and gradually letting her guard down.
"Yeah, sometimes PI can be extremely dangerous even for Kenzi." Bo chimed in.
Lauren seems to be following their ideas. "So, it's not just for fae? Humans, too?"
"Yes" Bo and Kenzi answered together they glance at each other and laugh.
"That's a good idea." Smiling at them, Bo hasn't seen her smile genuinely since they reconnected. Lauren is happy for them, and unconsciously set some kind of boundaries between her and Bo.
"So, nothing new happening?" Kenzi inquired trying to find out about the woman who constantly call out to Hotpants in the middle of their time.
Lauren sighed, "Just the same routine." Kenzi observed Lauren's posture how her shoulder dropped, her facial expression at first cold when she and Bo talk it's not as tense as before.
Although Lauren sat straight there's that underlying restlessness. Kenzi can read anybody but with Lauren sometimes she holds it closer to her chest. After knowing her, yeah, she can read her now. Why is she restless? Ahhh! She needs some loving…smiling inside. Too bad for Bo, that woman must be the reason.
They had chatted the weather in Toronto to what is going on at the Dal, and of course the desert of Afghanistan.
"I've missed one of Trick's liquor." Lauren told them but not admitting she's craving for one of her favorites. The one-hundred-year-old scotch. Bo knew which bottle, and she knew they're Lauren's favorite so she took one of them – she's hoping to mail the bottle to Lauren. She's afraid that if she asks for the address, she may not give it. Kenzi was thinking the something similar to Bo's, "Lauren can I mail some snacks?"
"What kind of treats?" Lauren practically drooling for her favorite snacks, she should tell Kenzi what kind instead of her sending she doesn't like.
"Well…. I thought maybe some of those kraft peanut butter, Gatorade…."
"They're fine Kenzi. I know I eat healthy but I'm craving for some chips-can you send some? …. Wait…a moment. Do you know what kind of snacks I like?"
"Duh. Hotpants." Kenzi rolling her eyes. "I've seen what you've hidden."
Lauren blushed, "You've found my hidden stash…Why didn't you say so?"
"Cuz, I know you might move them somewhere else when I stayed at your place." Raising her eyebrow, she is not surprise Kenzi snooped around her home while she stayed over.
"Ok, just surprise me." Lauren starting to type in the address. Kenzi hurriedly written down the address. Bo is so ecstatic; it's also sad Lauren didn't trust her with her address.
"Got it Lauren…Expect it I think maybe in a couple of weeks or so."
"I know we have bagels here at the mess hall." Lauren kept rambling, "I like our bagels."
Bo found it so adorable when she rambled, she can sneak that old scotch as a surprise.
A woman's voice called out to her, "Major Lewis, you are needed at the hospital tent." The same voice Bo and Kenzi recognized for the past weeks. Bo doesn't think she'll be her girlfriend. She doesn't think Lauren had found one but her aura keeps getting brighter almost blinding Bo and her Succubus when that woman calls out to her.
It didn't take to be a Succubus for Kenzi to notice Lauren's eyes twinkle, or the slight tilt of her head when the woman calls out her name.
Amber would stand outside trying not to eavesdrop, she always volunteered to fetch Lauren when they needed her. It's always when she's in the comm tent at this hour of the day they would need her. Afterwards they would walk the short distant to the hospital tent, their bodies gravitate to each other, she noticed how Lauren's eyes always twinkle that says a lot as she's making her happy. She would smile in return showing how much the emotion she felt for her, Lauren would lightly touch her arm or her hand letting her know she felt the same.
Bo started to feel anxious she really has lost Lauren for good. Bo tried not to show her hopelessness. I need of a way to show her I am changing, except we're miles apart and she thinks I'm still with Dyson.
"Bo. Kenzi." Lauren unconsciously turned her head to the direction of her voice to the entrance of the tent. They can tell Lauren is keen to finish their conversation.
"I gotta go. I would like to let you know I won't be able to talk to you guys for a while." Looking down at her phone she kept talking, "for almost a month. But…at this date…" scrolling the calendar "Okay Bo…. Kenzi?" finally raising her head up looking at them with a smile. Lauren can't wait to get out to meet Amber even though they see each other constantly she knew in her heart they're getting closer.
Lauren notice Bo is blinking her eyes trying to cover her dejection and a smidgeon of her feelings for Bo surface. They saw the aura even it's a speck of a white dot amongst the dark void from Lauren, maybe there's hope.
Before Lauren had a chance to close the communication between them, "Bye Lauren." Ysabeau's voice rang out.
Lauren gave them a brighter smile when she turns off the computer.

Bo and Kenzi kept themselves busy with their new business…. implementing their idea, they found a building to rent three blocks from Trick's bar. They made fliers, letting their previous clients know they specialized in security. It was a slow process they even gotten a few clients asking to set up surveillance camera surrounding their homes. Kenzi even mentions off handedly how about patrols, too. Bo thought about it and she agreed letting Kenzi know when they are about to expand; that will happen in due time.
There were several times Dyson tried to visit Bo at their new office. Kenzi would only say not at that time as they are busy for him leaving rejected.
Then one day Dyson had caught Kenzi alone unpacking and setting up their equipment, desks and computers; sniffing the air if Bo is around.
Kenzi didn't greet him and knew he's trying to smell if Bo is nearby. "Dyson what you did even I couldn't forgive you." She's trying to hold onto her anger, "You should have just walked away."
"I can't Kenz! You know… We were still in a relationship. She came to me asking for a second chance for us. And at that time, I wasn't competing with anyone. But I don't know Bo had become restless and the moment Lauren went missing… she tried to find her."
Kenzi could only stand there listening to him, what can she say. Bo should have a heart-to-heart talk to Lauren before she had gone back to Dyson. Even then, she shouldn't have ignored Lauren while dating Dyson.
"I felt I lost her already. I'm always competing with her. Bo's my mate!" Dyson snarled at Kenzi who wasn't fazed by his outburst.
"Well, you lost her when you became, He-wolf." Kenzi stopped what she was doing, looked him straight in the eye. "Your wolf intended to dominate Bo. And that's a No..No!" Trying to grind the thought to his stubborn mind.
Bo heard the voices in the hallway knowing its coming from their office the closer she got. The only person who kept stopping by is Dyson, and that stopped her in her track. Bo heard the conversation knew their office door is wide open, she didn't bother to make herself known. She can hear him trying to convince Kenzi to see his viewpoint and trying to come back into her life. Doesn't he understand what "It's Over" means. She realized that constitute with Lauren too. It hurts so much when she laid down in her bed thinking about that too every night.
"Dyson. You need to leave." Bo stood at the entrance of the office; her arms folded across her chest waiting for him to leave. Giving him that obstinate look he can see in her eyes that her blue eyes are glowing that means her succubus has come out to play again. He backed down trying to make his wolf to stand down and a slight growl came out.
"Dyson, no repeats." Bo's voice in a millisecond change to her succubus. "Now Dog!"
He left in a hurry knowing this is not the time to talk to her. It would be in his best interest to leave her alone for quite some time.
Neither Kenzi and Bo said a word about him as they continue to set up their business venture. Kenzi finally sent Lauren her snacks it was a big box and Bo secretly sneaked in the scotch.

Going out further in the desert helping the wounded, Lauren has been busy with the team's mission. This drained Lauren each time the team would come back with casualties. She would hide in her tent for a while by keeping herself from showing how deeply it affected her. Amber would find her in her tent, she would hold her close for Lauren to cry for the men and sometimes the women who lost in her watch.
A month has passed, since she had spoken to them. They were going to have their talked next week but this couldn't wait. Lauren is boiling with anger; she couldn't believe what had transpired earlier. Really? I can't believe this!
As she sat there, at the comm tent during early evening, she started skyping…hoping the incessant ringing will get Kenzi to answer or to shut the damn noise down. If not, she'll keep doing this until one of them actually is home or at a later time.
After more than 4 times trying, Kenzi's bleary face came into view. "Lauren! Is Everything okay?"
Kenzi notice Lauren's chest exhaling she's trying to calm herself down for a few seconds. Lauren felt bad waking Kenzi up but she can't wait until their next meeting for this.
Not trying to incite her anger at Kenzi. "Please get Bo now! If she's not there! Have her call me as soon as she can!" Practically shouting loud as the laptop speaker boom her voice. Kenzi wanted to turn down the volume but she didn't want to anger her too much at this morning. Her morning, must be early evening her time.
"Okay Lauren let me get her." Kenzi had no time to wonder. As she ran up the stairs, she slowed down to Bo's door. She stopped, what did Bo do now?
Lauren this angry? She knocked hard on her door, Bo didn't seem to have heard her knocking, or she's really dead to the world, she's oblivious to the noise. She opens the door slowly, peeking her head in and saw Bo with a stripe gray cat nestled on top of her head. Lifting its head looking at Kenzi with its wary eyes then slowly rested her head back down and closed its eyes.
She nearly forgot why she came up; she silently walks to the sleeping Succubus. There is an angry doctor downstairs waiting for her to come down and may not have much time.
Instead of quietly waking her up, she put her face closer to Bo's ear, and screamed, "Bo! Lauren's pissed!"
This made Bo jump up from her dream of Lauren, nearly headbutting Kenzi in the process.
"Kenz, what the…." Sitting up straighter than ever, the cat hissed and fled from her bed to the open door.
"Bo when did you get a cat?" looking at the direction where the cat scrambled to.
"Why did you wake me up?" Groaning from her interrupted dream of Lauren, she was in the middle of taking her blouse off until Kenzi's shout. Bo thought she had gone deaf for a moment.
Kenzi scrutinized Bo, "What did you do?" her voice stern as if she's speaking to a child she had used on Tamsin in numerous occasions while raising her when she had done something wrong.
"Lauren pinged my computer that's when I woke up." Bo stared at her. "I was sleeping downstairs watching a scary movie."
Bo got up immediately, pick up her kimono at the foot of her bed.
"Lauren called? I thought we won't talk to her in another week?"
Walking past Kenzi straight downstairs until they stopped at the laptop resting on the coffee table seeing an agitated Lauren. Bo slowly walked to the coffee table; a dreaded feeling came over her.

Lauren is getting agitated the longer she waits, and her mind keeps reverting back to what had transpired earlier.
Lauren was alone at the Hospital tent, and she was thinking how happy she was that she is able to keep in touch with Kenzi and reluctantly, Bo.That first time they had skype, she's happy she had finally told Bo on how she felt. Her mind on the other hand, kept wondering how her Succubus had healed her via internet and she didn't expect that action... Hmmm, wish she had her lab around here.
Until someone had interrupted her thoughts.
Tamsin stood at the entrance observing Lauren-Dr. Lewis alone sitting behind the desk absorbed on the paperwork in front of her. She quietly walks inside the hospital tent trying not to startle her, she whispered softly as not to attract the attention of the soldiers wondering around, "Hey doc?"
Lauren's head snapped up, she stared at her, "How did you find me Tamsin?" Could it be that one person for "why" Tamsin is in Afghanistan but wanting for her to confirm?
Curious as to how she found her, Evony didn't tell anyone and it's not even a secret. She was not expecting one of the Dark fae to come looking for her, let alone Tamsin.
Tamsin didn't really care much for her. Mmmm, I'm wondering if Bo had convinced her to find her. Lauren's anger is slowly rising.
"I'm fine, thank you Dr Lewis." Answering the question without being asked, slowly she meander closer to Lauren.
"We weren't that close Tamsin, but how are you?"
"Your bedside manner has change since you been here for a while, Doc."
"Reality can change you." Quietly assessing the Valkyrie. "Why are you here, Tamsin?"
"Ah... well you see… Evony had asked me to check up on you." Rolling on her feet back and forth, patting herself hoping the answer she gave Lauren would believe her.
Lauren giving Tamsin another chance to tell the truth. It's a good thing its morning back in Toronto. Unbeknownst to Tamsin Lauren has been texting Evony while they were talking; and she had asked her why she sent Tamsin.
"Are you really sure you were ordered to come here Tamsin?" staring at her intently. Tamsin stood there, swallowing hard. Lauren may look calm, but her mind must be thinking of ways of how to torture you since she knows all of every fae's anatomy and ways how to get rid of your body. Tamsin shook inside with dread.
Tamsin has never been very nice until recently because of how Kenzi had become a mother in raising her which was not bad. Lauren stood up stretching her legs dusting her white coat. Tamsin brace for her wrath her muscle tense in anticipation for the slap or maybe she's going to punch her. Never know with Dr. Lewis.
"Are you sure Tamsin?" asking her again to be truthful; slowly stalking towards as her eyes slit when she got closer.
"I'm sure." She gulps and stood straighter bracing for impact.
"Ok. Just so you know. Evony wants you in her office in an hour." Tamsin's eyes bulged, shit! Showing her phone in front of Tamsin's view and seeing briefly the text Lauren had sent.
Tamsin peddled backward to make her getaway, so she can make it to Evony's office within an hour. Just as she was in the middle of the entrance, Lauren grabbed Tamsin's arm stopping her from leaving. "Did Bo send you Tamsin?" The answer Lauren seek is in Tamsin's inability to look her in the eye. She let go.

The moment Bo came into view Lauren's voice got louder. "Bo! How dare you!" Trying to control her temper, her voice went a notch down, almost forgetting she's in a tent where everyone can hear her outside.
"Don't look like you didn't know anything about it?" Lauren's eyes were cold as ice, full of anger.
Lauren looking at Kenzi seeing the bewildered face, convince her Kenzi didn't know what Bo had done.
"Don't act as if you didn't conceive it" Her tone rising again. "Bo Dennis/Ysabeau McCorrigan you better stop this right now!" Her chest heaving after she had said the last few words. The Succubus woke up from Lauren's tone.
Finally, Kenzi interrupted Lauren's tirade as her eyes narrowing at Bo. "Lauren what did Bo do?"
"I want Bo to say it. If not now, then when you two are alone. You can tell her what she did is wrong." Lauren growled deeply.
"Look Bo, I know we're working on our friendship." Bo looked stricken by the cold fury in Lauren's face.
"I don't want to talk to you for the next three weeks even if our next skype is next week." Inhaling deeply trying very hard to calm down. "Sorry Kenzi. Maybe by then my anger has simmered down. I'll send you a text when we can talk again."
Lauren stared at Kenzi making sure she has her attention ignoring Bo. "I got to go." Not giving both of them to say she shut the communication down.
Kenzi looked questioningly at Bo; her forehead knitted waiting for an explanation. She's never seen Lauren so extremely vocal of her anger until now.
Again, waiting for more than five minutes she's asking Bo without any words: What Exactly did you do?
Bo looked so ashamed she shouldn't have done it. Now everything she had worked hard for all those weeks they have been skyping went into an abyss. Bo tightened her robe closer to her body, trying to calm herself from Laurens's wrath.
Kenzi stared hard at Bo, shaking her head and left. Oh, she wanted to ask, waiting for Bo to say something. Bo didn't utter a word from her mouth. She got up walked to the stairs quietly leaving a cold atmosphere on its wake.
Oh boy! She needs time to gather her thoughts before going up to explain what she had done.
Bo remembered what she had done previously that afternoon before the first time they skyped with Lauren that night.
She had found Tamsin at the Dal that day by herself having a beer, being somber after Kenzie had raised her.
"Tamsin just the woman I wanted to see."
"Oh…Oh" Tamsin said before sipping her beer eyeing her cautiously.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"When someone's says that especially from you. Its trouble." Trying to ignore the succubus while continually drinking her beer.
Bo sat across from her watching her sip her drink while Tamsin's eyes are wondering around the Dal. Tamsin's attention finally reverted back to Bo; her eyes harden while she's sizing her up for a reason. After twenty minutes of silence Tamsin ask, Bo didn't know what else to do if Tamsin had decline.
"What is it you want Bo?" Straight to the point, resigning to the fact Bo won't leave her alone.
Exhaling silently, thinking Tamsin may not want to do the favor she's asking. "Can you track down where Lauren disappeared to?" Tamsin's eyebrows went up. "Are you serious? I…" She shut her mouth.
"I meant which continent is Lauren hiding? If she's really here in Toronto or not?"
Before imbibing, "You can't find her yourself? What kind of a P.I are you if you can't find your doctor?"
Bo's face became red when she said that. It's true, why can't I find her?
Tamsin didn't feel bad for Bo, she's glad Lauren finally left Toronto. She doesn't want her back because after seeing being in a ping pong relationship with Bo. Lauren is fed up being bounce around with no commitment from the Succubus. Lauren should accept the fact It's Bo's nature not to be monogamous. Or is it me who wants Bo to be monogamous with? Finally finishing her beer, "You owe me big time Succubus." Dismissing Bo by getting up walking towards the pool table.
The next day, Bo found Tamsin at the Dal again, playing pool by herself. She walks towards her and stood at the end of the pool table, getting her attention she slowly walked up to her. "Lauren's in Afghanistan." In a low voice, Tamsin heard and just nodded. That's all Bo had to say when she walked away towards the bar.
Tamsin has been caught. Bo's mind kept replaying in her mind. Did I told her to speak to her? Bo closed her eyes, she messed this up. She should have left her alone but she didn't know Kenzi had found a way to contact Lauren, when she saw Tamsin at the Dal that same day. The next day she should have told her not to locate her as she knew where she was. Still, she wants to know where she is.
EVONY / TAMSIN
Evony could not concentrate what is in front of her. She kept looking at her office door. Waking up to Lauren's call really put a damper to her mood for the day. Willing for the Valkyrie to be coming in that door in ten minutes.
Even if she didn't appear within that time frame, Evony will send her away for the time being. First, she'll put her in the dungeon, or maybe something sadistic. This got Evony smiling, no one messes with Lauren.
Sighing heavily, decisions…decisions.
