A New Start
Ranma looked up at the house that he'd now be staying at. It was a nice looking Aboud, nothing fancy, just a nice, spacious looking house with plenty of rooms to spare. He took a deep breath and then exhaled.
'Whelp, here we go. A whole new life. And with my mom of all things.' He said as he slung his pack over his shoulder and started walking towards the front door of his mom's, and now apparently his, house. As he reached for the door knob however, the door was blasted open and a green-haired blur tackled him to the ground.
"Welcome home Darling!" Cried Lum as she snuggled Ranma. He couldn't help but blush, it was hard for him to NOT blush when this scantily clad alien beauty got the jump on him.
"Lum!? What are you doing her!?" He asked. Lum just giggled at the poor boy's question.
"Silly darling, don't you remember? You're mother asked me to come live with you!" She said as she started kissing Ranma's cheek.
"HEY! C-CUT THAT OUT!" Ranma cried as he tried to get Lum off of him.
"Hmph hmph hmph hmph!" Came the voice of Ranma's mom from behind the alien beauty.
"Oh my! Is this going to be a regular thing with you two?" Nodoka said as she shook her head at the two teens. Lum looked back at her and smiled.
"Mhm! This is how a good wife SHOULD greet her hubby when he comes home." She said. Ranma growled at the alien.
"LUM! WE'RE NOT MARRIED!" He shouted as he finally managed to get Lum off of him and got up.
"HMPH! Not yet." She said with a pout. Nodoka chuckled at the two of them.
"Well, don't just stand there, come on in!" She said as she waved Ranma in.
Ranma looked around. It felt almost familiar in a sense, but at the same time he felt like he was in a strangers house. He shrugged and walked around.
"Well, it's a nice place mom." He said. Nodoka smiled at her son.
"I'm glad you think so. Oh, by the way honey, your room is upstairs and has your name on the door. Feel free to drop your stuff off in there and get comfy while I fix us a nice meal, ok?"
Ranma smiled and nodded as he headed up to his room. As he was walking, Lum jumped up and followed him.
"Wait for me darling! I'll come with you." Lum said, only for her to be stopped by Nodoka.
"Now hold on there, Lum." Nodoka said as she yanked Lum back.
"Huh!?" Lum said as she looked back at her future mother-in-law. "Why?"
"No offense dear." Nodoka replied. "But I think maybe you should give Ranma some space. And besides, until you two are officially married, I will not tolerate any 'hanky-panky' under my roof. Is that understood?" She said, giving a light glare at the floating alien.
"But..." Lum started to say, but looking at the Nodoka's glare made her drop her head in defeat.
"Yes ma'am." She said. Nodoka grinned at her future daughter-in-law.
"But, if you want, I'll teach you how to make a meal that's sure to make any man with good tastes melt into a puddle for you."
Lum instantly shot back up with a look of shock and delight.
"R-Really!?" She asked. Nodoka gave a sly wink.
"Would I lie to you?" She asked. And with that, she and Lum went to the kitchen to start making lunch.
Meanwhile, Ranma had just dropped his bag on the ground and took a look around his new room. It was pretty plain, but it was basically a blank canvas meant for him to paint as he saw fit. It had just enough room for him to practice his katas in, so he was happy about that, it had a TV on the far wall facing in front of a comfy looking bed, and hooked up to it was a Nintendo Switch and a DVD player.
All and all, it looked like a nice place to chill after a long day. He went to the center of his new room and did a quick kata just to break in the room. After he was done, he plopped down on his bed. It felt weird to him. He had spent so many years sleeping in a sleeping bag on the hard ground of the outdoors and sleeping on futons that laying down on an actual bed almost felt like he was on a marshmallow and was about to sink to the floor.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he started to drift off to sleep. He felt so tired, more tired than he thought he'd be. But, then again, this was the first time he ever felt like he didn't have to be constantly on guard. He was half way asleep when he felt something wiggling around in the bed with him! He jumped up, ready for a fight if necessary. But he dropped his tense stance when he saw that it was Lum.
"Hey Darling.~" She said seductively. Ranma jumped out of bed, a little bit of fear going through him."
"What are you doing!?" He all but screamed. Lum chuckled as she stretched out on the bed.
"Just coming up to see you, Darling." She said as she tried to look as seductive as possible. "Oh, by the way, your mom says lunch is ready." Then she grew a coy smile.
"So, would you like a little appetizer?" She said as she arched her back. Ranma was blushing so much he looked like a tomato! He was about to have a very epic nosebleed until he turned away.
"Um! I...I think I'll just head on down!" He said as he charged out the door and down the stairs. Lum huffed and pouted as she watched the dust trail left by Ranma fade away.
"OOOHHHH! Why does he have to play hard to get?" She said as she flew out the door after him.
As Ranma and Lum came into the dining room, Ranma was taken aback by the delicious food that was laid out in front of him. His mouth was watering at the sight as his mother laughed.
"Well, don't just stand there, let's dig in!" Nodoka said as they all sat down to eat. Ranma felt like he died and went to Heaven. Kasumi was a good cook, but his mom's cooking blew hers' out of the water.
"Wow this is good!" He said as he ate. Nodoka chuckled at her son and decided to play up their alien house guest.
"You know dear, Lum actually helped make most of this. She's actually a big help in the kitchen." She said with a smirk. Ranma stopped eating, swallowed and looked between the two girls.
"Really?" He asked. Lum smiled and nodded her head.
"That's righ Darling! I helped make this meal you like so much!" She said. Ranma looked at the alien girl and smiled.
"Well, thanks Lum. I guess." He said as he kept eating. Lum blushed at the praise.
The next day, Ranma stretched as he got out of bed. For a moment, he forgot where he was. But then He remembered and calmed down.
"GOOD MORNING DARLING!" Came Lum's voice as she flew into his room and glompped onto the pigtailed boy.
"WHAT THE!?" He cried out in shock. "Lum!? What are you doing here?" She giggled.
"Oh Darling! I'm just came in to make sure you woke up in time for school." She said as she nuzzled his cheek.
"School?" He said, but then his eyes went wide as he remembered. "OH CRAP!"
With that, Ranma ran off to grab a quick bite from the kitchen before running off to school. Nodoka saw the red blur and tried to call out to her son.
"Ranma!" She called out. But Ranma was already on the run to school. Lum flew beside her mother-in-law and they both sighed.
"Oh boy. He didn't stay long enough to have a decent breakfast." Nodoka said. Lum shook her head.
"I wish he would have waited for me!" She said as she flew after the pigtailed boy.
"DARLING!" She called out. Nodoka sighed with a small smile on her face. She then went to the phone to make a few phone calls.
"Hello, Furikan High? This is Nodoka Saotome. Ranma's mother. No, seriously. Well, whatever. Anyway, I'm calling because I want to transfer my son out of your school."
Meanwhile, Ranma was running as fast as he could without channeling ki into his legs. While he was starting to like living with his mom at her place, it was a longer run to Furikan High. Oh well, he'd just have to get up earlier from now on to make sure he had plenty of time to get in a run. As he kept running, he ended up running up to Akane.
"Oh, hello." He said, trying to be civil. Akane glared at him and then turned her head away in a huff.
"Don't talk to me, womanizer!" She said. Ranma gave her a deadpanned look.
"Sheesh, excuse me for trying to be civil." Ranma said.
"Darling!" Came the voice of Lum. Ranma and Akane looked up to see the beautiful alien flying overhead before flying right next to the two Earthlings.
"Darling! Why didn't you wait for me!" She cried, making Ranma and Akane deadpan at the flying girl.
"Uh, because I'm going to school, duh. And you don't go to my school Lum." He said. Lum didn't look like she cared.
"Humph. Excuses. Oh, and hello you black widow." Lum said to Akane. She turned red in the face as she growled at the girl who stole her fiance.
"GGGRRRRRRR! Why don't you two go to the planet Horndog and get married already!?"
As they made it to the school, Ranma and Akane found the front of the school full of male students. Both Ranma and Akane thought that the students where there to try and beat Akane up again, but they were shocked when they all ran right past them and crowded around Lum!
"Huh!?" Both teens said. Lum was also confused. All these boys were holding up strange things and were pointing them at her with pervy looks on their faces.
"Um...Darling? What are these guys doing?" She asked. Ranma took a breath, sighed, and did his best to explain to the alien girl.
"Well Lum, those guys are holding up phones that have cameras in them. And you, are a beautiful alien girl, dressed in a tiger skin bikini, in a court yard full of horny teenage boys, and they're all taking pictures of you."
"...Oh..." Lum said as she started to understand. But then she started posing for them.
"Take all the pictures you want fellas! But just, remember, you can look but you can't touch. Because..." She flew straight for Ranma and wrapped her arms around him.
"That honor belongs to my Darling alone!" She said as she started kissing Ranma all over his face.
The poor boy didn't know what to do at this point. He just stood there, letting Lum kiss his cheeks as all the boys started glaring daggers at the young martial artist. Akane growled and glared at the two before stomping off.
"Go and bone your stupid alien whore somewhere else you pervert!"
Lum glared at the angry girl and fired another bolt of lightning at her. Akane lit up like a Christmas Tree. Ranma just stood there and watched. Not sure if he should laugh or feel bad for the girl. Soon afterwards, the bell rang...but it did NOTHING to save poor Ranma at all. It only heralded more trouble.
As Ranma tried to sit through class, Lum wouldn't leave his side. Not even while the teacher was lecturing. The teacher, Akane, and a lot of the other students all glared at Ranma as the alien beauty kept trying to flirt and cuddle with him.
"Saotome-san! This is a classroom! NOT a make out place!" The teacher said. Akane got up, picked up her desk and got ready to throw it at the two of them.
"Why don't you just die and take your space hooker with you!" She said as she threw her desk at them.
"YIPE!" Ranma said as he dodged and rolled out of the way, Lum in his arms. "Calm down will ya!?"
Akane tried again, but her assault was stopped by Kuno busting into the classroom.
"Saotome! I knew you were a two-timing woman seducer! And NOW you've shown your true colors by showing up with this demon from the stars! I STRIKE!"
He said as he tried to attack Ranma with his sword. Ranma did his best to dodge every strike, but he was having to dodge both Kuno and Akane with Lum latched onto him like a ball and chain.
"Come on! Do we have to do this now!?" He said. Later Ranma, Akane and Kuno were all holding up buckets of water as punishment for the destruction they caused. Ranma fumed. It wasn't even his fault! But as he held up his water buckets, Lum kept trying to convince him to leave with her. An offer that was becoming WAY more enticing by the minute.
"Darling! Come on! This place is boring! Let's go somewhere else and have some fun!" Lum said as she kept glomping onto Ranma. He snarled a little at the alien girl.
"Lum. I'm in trouble right now. Can't you go home or just go out on the town by yourself?" He said. Lum hugged him tighter.
"Well yeah, but I want to go with you!" Lum said. Akane started fuming as they kept talking.
"Haven't you caused enough trouble already!? Why don't you go back to your stupid home planet already!?" She screamed. The teacher popped his head out and and shouted at the kids.
"QUITE!" He shouted. All the kids, even Lum stood up straight at his booming command.
"SORRY!" They all said.
Later that day, Ranma kept fuming over getting in trouble because of Lum. As he tried to get away from her, he noticed everyone around him giving him death glares. Mostly the men, the women just looked at him like he was a two-timer. He didn't really care though, it's not like he cared what they all thought of him. But then he noticed someone filming Lum's rear on their phone and started to see red.
"Yo." He said from behind the perv. He started to pale and turned around to face a very mad looking Ranma. He gulped.
"So, any reason why you're looking at and filming Lum's butt like some creeper?" He asked. Lum spun around and noticed what Ranma was talking about for the first time.
"HEY YOU!" She screamed. Now the wanna be pervert was even more sure of his impending death.
"Lum, please," Ranma said, cracking his knuckles. "Let me handle this guy."
And with that, Ranma knocked the guy into next week. Ranma then noticed that out of the guy's pocket, was sticking a check. Ranma pulled out the check and growled when he noticed who signed it...Nabiki Tendo.
A little while later, we find Nabiki counting her money from her latest sales. She chuckled at how easy it was to make money off the boys in this school. The pictures she took of Ranma in his male form also helped with the female demographic.
"Another day, another couple of yen." She said. But as she was pocketing her money, her desk was flipped out of the way of a very mad looking Ranma and Lum. She gasped but then recollected herself.
"Oh, hello..."
"Save it!" Ranma said, cracking his neck as Lum crackled with lightning.
"Any reason why I found a check made out by you in the pocket of some scum bag recording Lum like he was filming a porno?" He asked. Nabiki was starting to panic.
"You know, I already didn't like you. But now you're REALLY starting to push your luck bitch!" Lum said as her hair started changing colors. Nabiki knew she couldn't talk her way out of this one. Ranma, maybe, IF he still lived at the dojo. But now that he and Lum lived somewhere else...
"Ok." She said, pulling her wallet back out and counting out some money. "How much is this going to cost meEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!"
She was cut off by Lum shocking her into oblivion. When Lum was done, Nabiki fell over and dropped her wallet, which Ranma swiped from the air. He took out ALL of Nabiki's money and also found some pictures of himself in both forms, Akane, Kasumi and even Lum in the wallet as well. He growled, then turned to Lum.
"Lum, would you mind shocking these until they turned to dust?" He asked the alien. Lum looked at the pictures and nodded.
"No problem." She said and took the pictures and fried them to a crisp. When she was done, Ranma, who had counted out Nabiki's money, grinned and looked to his companion.
"So Lum, what do you say you, me and mom go out tonight and eat? My treat. Or rather, Nabiki's treat." Lum grinned back at her darling.
"Sounds fun! Thanks Nabiki!" She said sarcastically as she and Ranma left the room. Nabiki twitched on the ground as she spasmed from the shocking she just received. As she did, all of Nabiki's cronies began to rethink their choice of occupation.
As Ranma and Lum headed back to Ranma's mom's house, Ranma couldn't help but think about how satisfying it was to give Nabiki a taste of her own medicine. When they got home, they saw Nodoka making some tea. Ranma smiled at his mom.
"Hey mom! We're home! And we're going out tonight. My treat!" He said. Nodoka turned to her son and smiled.
"That's great son! And that sounds like a great idea." She said. "And this is perfect timing, because I've got something I want to tell you."
Later that night, the three were at a restaurant eating a nice meal. Ranma couldn't believe that the Tendos were scraping by when Nabiki could have helped them out a long time ago with her ill gotten gains.
"So mom, what did you want to tell me?" He asked. Nodoka wiped her mouth with a napkin and cleared her throat.
"Well son, I've decided that Furikan is much too far away from home for you if you intend to walk there all the time. So, I'm transferring you to MY old high school!"
Ranma went slack jawed at that. Lum however, was happy about that.
"Oh Darling! Isn't that great!?" She said, beaming at Ranma.
"Um, mom...that's great and all, but..."
"Say no more." She said. "I'm sure you'll miss your friends, but I don't like the idea of you being in the same school as Soun's daughters. Especially after that mess at their home."
Ranma couldn't fault her for that. But still, a new school? After having just moved here? But still, getting away from Akane, Nabiki and Kuno honestly sounded like a freaking dream come true. He sighed.
"Well, to be honest, it sounds just like the old days when me and pop were back on the road. So, what school am I going to now?" He asked, resting his chin on his hand. Nodoka smiled.
"Well, my old high school, Tomoiki High." Nodoka said. Ranma wasn't sure he had heard the name before, but he figured it wasn't too surprising. He hadn't had much time to get the layout of more than Nerima, since his dead-beat father seemingly wanted him to spend the rest of his life there. But, since he was now living in Tomobiki town, he might as well go to the local high school.
"Ok. So, when do I head there?" He asked. Nokoka just kept smiling.
"It'll take some time to finish getting all the paperwork taken care of, so This will be your last week at Furikan High. So I'd take this time to say your goodbyes."
The next day, Ranma was trying to figure out just how he felt about the whole moving to a different school thing. In all honesty, he didn't really mind all that much. No Akane? No Kuno? Somebody pinch him, he must be dreaming!
He was so happy and trying to ignore Lum, who had insisted on coming with him again, and Akane, who was arguing with Lum and claiming Ranma was just a womanizing pervert, that he almost didn't notice someone calling out his name with all the hate of Hell.
"RANMA!" Came the voice that snapped him out of his musings. He looked up and saw a shadow coming down fast!
"Look out!" He cried as he pushed the two girls aside and did a back handspring to avoid the incoming object that came crashing down in front of him. Ranma looked as he flipped back to his feet and saw that the object was actually in fact a young man, about his age, a little taller than him and looking like a real wild child with his messy hair held back by a leopard printed bandana.
The young man looked up from the crater he created from his landing and revealed a pair of brown eyes that were filled with hatred. He was dressed in a yellow long-sleeved Chinese shirt, dark blackish-green Kung Fu pants and black shoes with wraps that went around the bottom of his ankles and on his back was a green backpack, and in his hands was an old umbrella.
"I've finally found you...Ranma Saotome!" He said as he jumped out of the crater he made. Ranma was confused for a second before he got a good look at the guy in front of him and recognized who it was in front him.
"Oh hey! I recognize you now! Ryoga! Ryoga Hibiki from my old middle school! Hey bud, how's it going?" Ranma said in a friendly tone only to duck out of the way as the now named Ryoga tried to take his head off with a swing from his umbrella.
"DON'T ACT LIKE WE'RE FRIENDS YOU BASTARD!" Ryoga shouted as he treid to attack Ranma again and again. Ranma ducked and dodged every strike, seeming confused as to why he was being attacked in the first place.
"Yo! What's the deal!?" Ranma said as he jumped and backflipped away from the angry boy. Lum and Akane watched as Ranma evaded the wild looking boy, wondering what in the heck was going on.
"HEY! WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING MY DARLING YOU CREEP!?" Lum shouted as she shot bolts of electricity at the boy, only for him to notice and jump away at the last second.
'Huh!?' Lum thought. 'He dodged!? How did he dodge my lightning at the last second like that!?'
Ryoga landed away from the green-haired girl and growled at her.
"HEY! Don't get in my way lady!" He shouted at the girl.
"HEY! Leave her out of this Ryoga!" Ranma said as he did a jumping side-kick at the wild looking boy. Ryoga dodge rolled out of the way and rolled to his feet as he stared at the pig-tailed boy.
"Why? Afraid your little girlfriend will get hurt, Ranma?" Ryoga said, not really looking like he cared one way or the other.
"Sh-She's not my girlfriend!" Ranma said in embarresment. Lum flew close to him and nodded.
"That's right! I'm his fiance!" She said with pride. Ranma looked at her in a frenzied panic.
"No you're not!" He said. As he and Lum started arguing about the status of their relationship, Ryoga started getting even more angry at the fact that he was being ignored.
"HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME, DAMN IT!" He shouted, getting the attention of the two teens and the rest of the student body that was still in the court yard, especially one Nabiki Tendo.
"Darling," Lum said to Ranma. "Who the heck is this jerk anyway?"
Ranma took a deep breath as he prepared to explain.
"This is Ryoga Hibiki. He and I went to the same middle school together. And he's my arch-rival." He said calmly, but his words caught everyone in ear shot by surprise.
"ARCH-RIVAL!?" They all shouted. This guy was Ranma's rival? Did that mean he was as good a fighter as Ranma?
"So, what brings you here Ryoga? Awful long way from home, ya know?" Ranma said, scratching the back of his head.
"You know DAMN WELL why I'm here! I'm here to finish that fight you ran out on!" Ryoga shouted back at his rival. This caught Akane's attention.
"Ranma, you ran out on a fight?" She asked.
"HUH!?" Lum chimed in. "That doesn't sound right! Darling would never run out on a challenge!"
"And I didn't." Ranma said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Ryoga, I waited at that vacant lot outside your house...FOR THREE FREAKING DAYS!"
"HUH!?" Came the shocked replies of everyone there.
"YEAH! And when I got there by day 4, you weren't there!" Ryoga shouted back. Ranma shook his head at his thick-headed rival.
"You know, if he waited for three days, I think he might have been entitled to leave. He might have thought you weren't coming after all." Lum said. Akane hated to admit it, but she kind of agreed with Lum.
"I would have waited longer, but pop dragged me off to our trip to China by day three. Look Ryoga, if you're still mad about that whole bread feud we had..."
"THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Ryoga shouted, his face turning red with anger. "This is a matter of honor with me! I chased you all over Japan AND China just so I could finally defeat you! Now stand your ground and FIGHT!"
Ranma shook his head. On one hand, he actually was happy to see his old rival again. Truth be told, he was kind of itching for a good old-fashioned show down with a good opponent. And, if he was going to leave Furikan, might as well give everyone a show to remember him by. But on the other hand, if he missed school, his mom might kill him. Literally or figuratively, he didn't know which.
"Ok Ryoga, tell ya what, just stand out here for a while and once school is over, I'll give you the fight of your life!" Ranma said, his aura glowing a bright blue. Ryoga chuckled at that, his own aura, a glowing green, shined to reflect his own excitement at facing his rival again.
"Ok then. I'll be waiting. And you better not run out on me this time!" He said, glaring at Ranma. Lum shook her head.
"Technically, he didn't run out on you, his dad dragged him off." She said. Then she noticed Ranma tying a rope around Ryoga's waist and around the gate. Everyone looked confused.
"Um...Ranma?" Akane asked. "Why are you tying that guy to a tree?"
Ranma and Ryoga turned to the blue-haired girl.
"This guy's got absolutely no sense of direction. If I leave him alone, he might end up in Okinawa by the time I get out of school." Ranma said. Ryoga just nodded his head sadly.
"It's ture. Trust me, this is for the best." He said as he sat down. "I'll be waiting right here. And when the last bell rings, you better be ready to fight Ranma!"
The day went on by with Ranma contemplating the upcoming fight with Ryoga. All the while, Lum just kept flying around but the window, looking out at the bandanna wearing boy. She saw him shadowboxing and saw that he really did have good form. But weather he was really as good as her darling was still up for debate.
'But still, he did seem to be able to keep up with Darling earlier. And he could dodge my lightning attack so easily.' She looked to her darling and saw the look of contemplation on his face.
'Darling, I hope you can beat that guy.' She thought.
Meanwhile, Nabiki was using her blackmailing skills to get as much info as she could on Ryoga...and found nothing! She growled. She had NO IDEA just how good this guy was! But if Ranma went so far as to call him his arch rival, then that must mean he's one tough customer. She grinned. If he was really that good, then maybe she could FINALLY get back at Ranma and Lum for humiliating her the past few days.
"Say, Ranma," Akane said to her former fiancé as they sat down for lunch. "Just how good is this guy anyway?"
Ranma took a deep breath as he swallowed his lunch.
"I bet he's nowhere NEAR as good as you, right Darling!?" Lum chimed in happily. Ranma let the breath he was holding out as he looked between the two girls.
"When I first met him, no." He started to say. "But as time went by, he managed to catch up to me. Heck, even though the guy's mostly self-taught, I'd say he's just as skilled as I am. Heck, he almost beat me once or twice."
"HUH!?" They both cried out in shock.
"He...He almost BEAT YOU!?" Lum said, not believing that someone had almost beaten her darling in combat. But Ranma was not the kind of guy to lie about that. Now, she was starting to get really worried. What if this guy WAS stronger than Ranma? What if he actually managed to beat him?
Unkown to the three teens, Nabiki had been listening on their conversation. She grinned. This Ryoga guy would do nicely for her scheme of revenge. Later, after the final bell of the day ran, Ranma jumped right out of the classroom window and dashed towards the gate. As soon as he got there, he saw Ryoga, meditating.
"You ready to do this, lost boy?" Ranma asked him. Ryoga grinned at his rival as he stood up to his full height.
"You have no idea, Ranma." He said as he started to take a few steps towards his hated foe, only to stop and look down at the rope around his waist.
"Uh...but first, could you untie me please?"
A few seconds later, Ranma and Ryoga were starring each other down, their fists clenching as they prepared for the fight of a lifetime. All the students of Furikan were gathering around, anxious to see Ranma fight his so-called rival. Akane acted like she didn't care, but in all honesty, she was curious to see this fight.
Lum was biting her lower lip and gripping her own fists, not sure if her darling would be ok. And Nabiki, was counting up the bets that were placed on the fight. Ranam was the favorite to win, which made Nabiki smile evilly. If Ranma lost, almost ALL of the money would go to her! She didn't have much faith that Ranma would lose, but she had a few plans in mind to make sure this Ryoga guy would win.
"So Ryoga, you really spent all this time chasing after little ol' me? I guess that makes you a middle school drop-out huh? Ha ha ha ha!" Ranma said, taking the time to taunt his rival before they fought. But he was honestly surprised by just how much his words struck Ryoga.
"SHUT THE HELL UP BASTARD! You have NO IDEA what I've gone through just to find you so I can KILL YOU!" Ryoga said as he charged at Ranma, swinging his umbrella like a club at the pigtailed martial artist.
"YIPE!" Ranma cried out as he dodged his rival's swings. "Jeeze man! I was only kidding!"
"I've heard enough of your talk coward! NOW FIGHT!" Ryoga shouted as he made a lunge for Ranma.
Ranma side-stepped to the right and grabbed Ryoga's wrist struck the lost boy in the face with his right elbow. He then slid his right arm under his rivals outstretched arm and did a Judo hip throw that sent his rival flying straight to the ground. Ranma went down to try and put Ryoga in an arm lock, but Ryoga managed to slip out and swung his umbrella at Ranma again, only for the boy in red to kick it out of his hand.
Ranma twisted around and tried to follow up with more low sweeping kicks but Ryoga managed to roll away and get back to his feet. As Ranma came in low, Ryoga grinned and did a forward fip that turned into a falling axe kick, trying to smash Ranma's head in. Ranma dodge rolled to the right and as Ryoga tried to turn to face him, Ranma lashed out with a spin kick that nailed his rival in the tempel.
Ranma charged after Ryoga, but the bandanaed boy lashed out with a kick to struck Ranma in the stomach, sending him backwards. Ryoga flipped to his feet and went after Ranma, who cartwheeled out of the way. Ryoga lashed out with a side kick but Ranma parried it to the side and sent a front snap kick to the lost boy's gut, but Ryoga managed to block it and Ranma's follow up punches.
An exchange of punches and kicks followed, with both fighters seeming to be on equal footing. During one exchange of blows, Ryoga managed to do a Judo sweep on Ranma, taking him down. Ranma managed to break his fall, but found Ryoga mounting him and preparing to pummel him. But Ranma was ready. As Ryoga came down, Ranma lashed out with a foot and used Ryoga's own momentum to kick and throw him off and away.
Ryoga landed hard but got back up and glared at Ranma. Ranma got to his feet and returned Ryoga's glare. They started inching in the direction of the school, not breaking eye contact. As they each placed one foot in front of the other, they started to pick up speed until they were running. They then started leaping to inhuman heights straight up to the roof of the school.
Everyone was shocked to see the two young men leaping like they were a couple of comic book characters! As they leapt off the side of the school up to the roof, Ranma sent a kick at Ryoga's chest, which he blocked, but caught him off guard with a spinning heel to the head. Ranma then struck Ryoga with an axe kick that sent him crashing to the roof.
Ranma flipped in the air and spun straight at Ryoga, intending to crash into him. Ryoga rolled away and Ranma landed on his feet. He looked towards his rival and charged at him. Ryoga flipped back to his feet and charged to meet Ranma head on.
They clasped hands in a battel of strength, but Ryoga had the upper hand in the brute strength department. He started to overpower the pigtailed boy and struck him with a head butt. Ranma reeled back in pain as Ryoga went for the clench and kneed Ranma repeatedly. Ranma managed to avoid getting hit in the nose, but his for head was being smashed harshly.
He managed to block one of Ryoga's knee strikes and grab him around the leg and punched him in the gut, stunning him enough to push him off and trip Ryoga's other leg out from under him and take him to the ground.
Ranma unleashed a barrage of punches on him. Ryoga tried to grab Ranma's arm to put him in a lock, but Ranma slipped out, only to get kicked in the head by Ryoga, sending him to the side. Ranma spun on the ground as Ryoga got up and attacked once again.
Ranma did a sweep kick that Ryoga jumped over, but he wasn't ready for the one-handed double mule kick that sent him stumbling. Ranma went after him and grabbed his head and preformed a flying knee strike followed by a push kick and a jump spinning back kick.
Ryoga fell to the ground but got back to his feet as he sized up his rival. Ranma's biggest thin as a fighter was being agile and fast. If he was going to win, he had to match Ranma's agility and find a way to counter his speed.
The two young fighters circled around each other as they prepared for the next exchange. Ranma charged at Ryoga and did feint going low before switching to a jump spinning heel kick that Ryoga barely managed to dodge. Ranma kept up the pressure by going into another low sweep followed by a cartwheel kick and then a spinning heel kick to roundhouse kick combination.
Ryoga managed to dodge the barrage of kicks and then caught Ranma's round kick, punched him hard and then sweeped him down. He tried to go for a leg break but Ranma used his other leg to kick himself free and did a breakdancing style wheel kick to force the lost boy back.
But as he got back up, Ryoga charged in and attacked. Ryoga did his own roundhouse kick but it was aimed at Ranma's leg and then followed it up with a few punches and then a in to outside crescent kick that nailed Ranma in the head. Ranma backed away dazed and then Ryoga grabbed Ranma's arm, struck the spot above Ranma's elbow with his own, swung Ranma's arm outward and then threw the red clad boy over his shoulder and to the ground.
Ranma coughed as he crashed to the ground. Remembering a few moves he learned from a style of Kung Fu called Dog Boxing, and spun around the lost boy to his back and used his legs to scissor Ryoga to the ground. Both boys rolled away and then flipped back to their feet.
Ranma charged at Ryoga and the yellow clad boy charged back at him. But as they closed the distance, Ranma grinned and flipped over his rival. Ryoga gasped and was unprepared for when Ranm twisted in the air and double mule kicked Ryoga in the back, sending him flying to the edge of the roof.
"AGH!" Ryoga cried as he tried to right himself before he fell off the roof. Ryoga managed to keep himself from falling then turned to growl at Ranma. Ranma landed on the ground and smirked at his foe.
"What? Is that all you got?" Ranma said. Ryoga was getting tired of his rival surprising him and charged at him once again.
"Stop jumping around like a grasshopper and fight!" He said.
As the two kept fighting, Lum was flying above them, watching the fight with interest. She was surprised, she didn't think someone could give her darling such a hard fight.
'No wonder Darling was so focused on preparing for this fight today. This Ryoga guy really IS a equal match for him. Darling...I hope you'll be ok.' She thought as she watched them duke it out.
Akane was shocked! Ranma really was taking this fight seriously. She had never seen him fight so hard, even Kuno couldn't give Ranma this good of a fight. Nabiki was grinning. Seeing Ranma get tossed around by this other guy was making her happy. Now, all she had to was hedge her bets in case things went south.
Ranma nailed Ryoga with another spinning hook kick and went in for a few strikes to his vital spots. Ryoga shook his head and blocked Ranma's strikes before countering with his own punch to the gut followed by an uppercut that led to a double punch then ended with a spinning back kick. Ranma stumbled back from the last kick and was left wide open for Ryoga to lunge in for the finish.
But Ranma was not down for the count yet. When Ryoga went in for jumping side kick, Ranma side stepped it and back handed his rival. Ryoga lashed out with another punch but Ranma caught it and struck Ryoga in the ribs before twisting Ryoga's arm into a joint lock and then turned it into a throw.
Ranma was about to go in for another lock, but Ryoga twisted around and then kicked at his rival, forcing him back. Ryoga got up and went for a side kick, but Ranma parried it and sent a back fist to Ryoga's face followed by punch to the solar plexus, a rapid barrage of Wing Chuan machine gun punches, a double pal strike and a side kick of his own
Ranma followed up with a tornado kick, a spinning hook kick, an axe kick, and a knee strike that transitioned into a throw. And then, as Ryoga struggled to get back to his feet, Ranma nailed him with a spinning kick that belonged in a tricking expo. Ryoga went flying, seeing stars in his eyes as his body registered the pain from Ranma's attacks. Ranma took the time to catch his breath, Ryoga had definetly gotten better.
"So, ya done yet Ryoga? Or do you want a second helping of whoop ass?" Ranma asked his downed opponent. Ryoga staggered back to his feet, shaking the stares from his vision. He wouldn't stand for this! He'd come too far to lose to Ranma now!
"I'm...not done...yet!" Ryoga said as he yanked his bandana off, only to reveal MORE of them wrapped around his head! But what REALLY caught Ranma off guard, was that Ryoga threw multiple bandanas at him, and they were sailing at him like shuriken!
"Whoa!" Ranma said as he dodged the projectiles. And boy was he glad that he did, because he saw them embed themselves into the roof of the school like they were actual blades.
"What in the heck!?" Ranma asked. But he shook it off when he saw Ryoga throw even more of the bandana shurikens at him.
Ranma dodged them as Ryoga came in close. Ranma saw him coming and did a flip kick that Ryoga dodged. When Ranma turned around for a backfist, Ryoga blocked it and to Ranma's surprise, used yet ANOTHER bandana to tie their hands together!
"HUH!?" Ranma cried out as Ryoga started punching at Ranma. Ranma did his best to dodge and block them, having to rely on his training in Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun to deal with Ryoga's close quarters attacks.
"This'll keep you from runing away Ranma!" Ryoga said as he tried to use his legs to sweep Ranma's feet out from under him. Ranma growled at that and did something VERY unexpected.
"How many times do I have to tell you..." He started to say, as he grabbed Ryoga by the collar, and then jumped up, trapped Ryoga's head with his legs, and then used momentum and his body weight to flip Ryoga, head first, into the ground.
"I DIDN'T RUN AWAY!" He said, as he slipped through Ryoga's legs and used his and Ryoga's tied hands to trap Ryoga in a pain full lock.
"Now, are you going to chill out ya block head?" He asked as Ryoga growled at the pigtailed boy.
Lum was cheering, happy that her hubby had managed to seemingly take down his rival. However, down on the ground, the other students had made a discovery that would show that this fight was far from over.
While Ranma and Ryoga were fighting on the roof of the school, Akane was starring slack jawed at the sight. But she was broken out of her musing when she heard one of the other students grunting and cursing behind her. She turned to see one of the boys struggling to pick up Ryoga's discarded umbrella.
"Hey! What's wrong?" She asked. The boy stopped his struggle and looked at Akane.
"This thing weighs a ton! I can't lift it!" He said. Akane was gasped.
"What!?" She said as she went over to the umbrella. She tried to pick it up, only to be pulled down by it's weight! She tried again, but even SHE couldn't move the damn thing!
'Wait. Ryoga could swing this thing like it was nothing. So then...that means...!' She gasped in shock and horror at the implications.
"That guy's a monster!"
Back on the roof, Ranma was taken by surprise when he felt Ryoga pushing the both of them up with just one hand. Ranma looked down and gasped.
"What!?"
Ryoga balanced the both of them on one hand and then pushed them both into the air.
"I'm not finished yet!" Ryoga said as he lashed out with kicks and punches at Ranma. Ranma countered and lashed out with kicks and punches of his own. While he was better at acrobatic combat then Ryoga, being tied at the wrists made it harder to fight.
As they landed, Ryoga struck Ranma with a palm heel strike and chop to the side of the head. Ranma, seeing red, stomp kicked Ryoga's leg, sending him to the floor, and once again, used Ryoga's bandana against him and put Ryoga in a joint lock right where they were tied together.
Ryoga cried out in pain as he felt like his wrist was about to pop out of place. Seeing no other choice, Ryoga untied the bandana and channeled his ki into it, turning it into a blade and swiped at Ranma. Ranma let go, dodged the wild swipes and did a back handspring kick to Ryoga's chin, sending him back. But as Ranma landed back on his feet, he charged at Ryoga, jumped and hit him with a repeated barrage of kicks that sent him over the edge of the roof!
Ryoga panicked and grabbed at the first thing he could, which happened to be Ranma's leg!
"Hey! LET GO!" Ranma screamed as they both fell off the roof and plummeted to the ground.
"DARLING!" Lum cried out as Ranma and Ryoga fell. Ranma kicked Ryoga off of him and did a round kick to his rival's face. Ryoga grabbed Ranma's foot and dragged him in for a punch only for Ranma to block and counter attack.
They punched, kicked, blocked, parried and counter attacked each others blows, then, as the ground started closing in on them, the two kicked each other aside and flipped perfectly onto their feet and started running off into town to continue their fight.
Akane, Lum and everyone else watched in shock at the skills of the two young fighters. Lum blinked then shook her head as she flew after the two boys. As she flew off, Akane, feeling some form of worry for Ranma, rushed off after Lum. Nabiki whistled, this fight was starting to get interesting. It was way too close to call. She headed off, she had to make sure Ryoga won this fight.
Meanwhile, Ranma and Ryoga were tearing up the town! Literally! They clashed, equally matched, every blow being countered and some even being turned against the one who used it. Ranma did a low spinning sweep kick that Ryoga jumped over, but Ranma followed up with an upwards axe kick that the bandanaed boy barely dodged.
As Ranma came up with an uppercut, Ryoga blocked the strike and struck Ranma with a haymaker that sent him across the ground. Ranma shook the stars out of his head as Ryoga tried to jump onto him. He rolled away and back to his feet as Ryoga did a double jumping front kick to Ranma.
The pigtailed boy got grazed by the kicks and was nearly floored by Ryoga's follow up spinning heel kick. Ranma managed to duck under the kick, spun around and delivered a reverse elbow to Ryoga's midsection followed by a backfist to the face. Ranma then grabbed his rivals head and threw the boy over his shoulder.
Ryoga rolled on the ground and got up in time to dodge Ranma's flip/rolling axe kick that would have knocked the wind out of him and then did a spinning sweep kick that struck Ranma across the face and separated the two once again.
They got up and stared each other down once again. Fire in their eyes as they started walking in a circle around one another. Ranma couldn't help but chuckle, despite the circumstances, which to be fair he wasn't entirely sure why they were fighting in the first place, he was having fun!
"What are you laughing about Saotome!?" Ryoga cried out as they came to a stop. Ranma chuckled again, not mockingly but out of pure delight.
"Come on, don't tell me this doesn't brign back memories for you too. This feels just like old times. And I can tell ya've gotten better Ryoga. But still, this can't just be about that you were late for. What's really got ya mad at me man? Is it the food fued we had that I always won? If it is, I'm sorry man."
Ryoga growled. This guy STILL didn't get it!
"THIS HAS NOTHIG TO DO WITH THE BREAD FUED!" He shouted at his rival, making him jump back slightly.
"Because you didn't stick around for our fight, I chased you all over Japan, EVEN TO CHINA! Because of all the tracking I had to do, I'VE SEEN HELL! And now, I'M GOING TO SEND YOU THERE ON A ONE WAY TICKET!"
He cried out as he charged at Ranma again. Ranma, still a little confused, used Ryoga's mad dash to flip him over into a fence that was behind him. As Ryoga got up, he was too late to see Ranma do a jumping sidekick that sent him right through the fence into the street behind it. Ranma took a moment to catch his breath as he walked over to his downed rival.
"So, have ya had enough Ryoga? Or do ya want another helping of whoop ass from yours truly?" Ranma asked as Ryoga tried to get up. Ryoga growled, not wanting to admit defeat to Ranma after all this time hunting him down! Just then, the two of them were surprised by the voice of Nabiki Tendo coming up from behind them.
"Ryoga!" She cried as she held up her hands in a T. "Time out!"
She said, causing Ranma to tilt his head in confusion. Nabiki kneeled down to Ryoga, giving him a wink.
"Don't worry, I'm on your side." She said. Ryoga was now as confused as Ranma was. As Nabiki implemented her plan, Lum flew over them, a glare on her face.
"What is she up to?" She said to herself as lightning arced off of her.
"What do you mean you'r eon my side?" Ryoga asked as Nabiki whispered something to him, Ranma leaning in to try and hear what they were saying.
"Here, take this." She said, giving Ryoga a small pill. Ryoga looked at it, growing even more confused.
"Uh...what is this?" He asked.
"It's a steroid." She said, making him jump in shock.
"Steroid!?"
"That's right. Take this and I guarantee that you'll beat Ranma! Just swallow it, and it'll boost your strength! You'll be a juggernaut! Not even Hercules would be able to touch you!" She said, trying to hype him up.
Ryoga looked between Nabiki and the pill, not sure whether or not to take the pill. He looked up to the brown haired girl.
"Why are you helping me?" He asked. Nabiki smiled wider and winked.
"Let's just say that I have a score to settle with old Ranma too." She said. Ryoga, thinking that he found someone who understood him, plopped the pill into his mouth and swallowed it. Suddenly, he felt a surge of energy surge through him.
"AW YEAH! I CAN FEEL IT! I FEEL THE POWER COURSING THROUGH ME!" He said. Then, just to prove his point, he grabbed a power line post and YANKED IT RIGHT OUT OF THE GROUND!
"WHAT THE HECK!?" Ranma said in shock. Lum, and Akane who had just caught up to them, all felt a heart attack at seeing Ryoga's feet of superhuman strength. Ryoga chuckled at Ranma as he prepared to attack him again.
"Now, DIE RANMA!" He cried out as he stabbed the post at Ranma. He dodged, seeing the post going right throught the fence behind him like a knife threw paper. Ranma dodged the next few stabs and started flipping away from Ryoga as he chased after the pigtailed boy.
Nabiki chuckled to herself. Ranma was a goner for sure now. She started walking to catch up to them, not even worried about the outcome anymore. Ranma would lose, and she would get ALL the money from the betting pool, and she would be the overall winner.
"NABIKI!" Came the voice of Akane. "Why did you give Ryoga that steroid!? Are you crazy!? And where did you even get a steroid like that from anyway?"
Nabiki chuckled and wiggled her finger at her little sister.
"Oh Akane, that was no steroid. It was just a vitamin pill."
Akane and Lum both gaped at this. A vitamin!?
"So, you mean...?" Akane started to say. Nabiki nodded her head.
"Yep. A plosive effect. Ranma's a goner and there's no stopping ThAaAaAaAaAaTtTtTtTtT!" She was cut off by Lum zapping her once again.
"You little bitch!" She cried. "Are you TRYING to get Darling killed!?"
She said as she flew off after the two martial artists. Meanwhile, Ranma kept jumping and dodging Ryoga's strikes. He could swear he actually saw the lost boy's eyes looking red like a that of a monster.
"Yo man! Calm down will ya!" Ranma said as he leapt over another wild swing from the superhuman boy. As Ranma kept dodging, Lum came flying in just in time to see Ranma land on the post and make a mad dash at Ryoga.
But to his surprise, Ryoga just smirked and did a flip to the side, causing the post to spin and throwing Ranma off balance and off the post to the ground. As his rival hit the ground, Ryoga smirked and tried to smash the post down on him once again.
"YIEAH!" Ranma said as he barely rolled out of the way of another attack. As he rushed to get back to his feet, he heard Lum's voice from over his head.
"Darling!" She cried out. Both Ranma and Ryoga looked up to see the flying alien girl.
"Lum! What are you doing here!?" Ranma asked. Lum charged up her lightning.
"I came to help, duh!" She said, only to get swatted out of the sky by Ryoga swinging the post at her.
"Don't interfere!" He said. For some reason, Ranma felt his heart stop for a moment at seeing Lum get bashed out of the sky. To him, time just stopped for a second.
"Lum..." He said, watching her fall out of the sky and crashing onto the ground, seemingly out cold. Snaping out of it, he rushed over to the downed alien.
"Lum!" He cried out as he cradled her in his arms. She was out like a light, a bruise forming on her side where she was struck. Ranma looked down at her, his heart clenching in his chest. Then, suddenly...he snapped. His fist balling up so hard that it drew blood. He turned to Ryoga, seeing nothing but red.
"You...bastard..." He said as he got up slowly, glaring at his rival. Ryoga, who was on an adrenaline high, didn't really seem to noticed the look or aura of rage that was coming from Ranma and scoffed at the red clad young man.
"Heh, what's wrong Ranma, that girl your girlfriend or something? Come on, get serious!" He said. But that was when he finally saw the blood red aura coming off Ranma like a roaring flame.
"YOU JACKASS!" Ranma shouted out as he dashed towards Ryoga and did a flying sidekick...that powered RIGHT THROUGH the power line post and sent Ryoga flying towards the other side of the street!
"YOU'RE DEAD!" He said as he followed after his rival. Ryoga shook his head as he got up, only to have his face slammed by Ranma's fist! Ranma followed up with a roundhouse kick, a left cross, a right uppercut, a downward elbow to the solar plexus, then he grabbed him, kneed him in the crotch and then the gut and then the face, and hip threw him to the ground and put him in an arm lock, applying enough pressure to make the bones brake.
Ryoga screamed in pain, trying desperately to brake free. Ryoga managed to wiggle free enough to kick Ranma away and rolled away. But Ranma ran up to his fleeing rival and kicked him in the ribs before grabbing his hair and pulling him up to deliver a strong hook to the lost boy's nose.
"You JERK!" Ranma said as he switched to Tiger Style Kung Fu and used his hands like claws and grabbed Ryoga's arms and ripped and his arms and sleeves. Ryoga kicked Ranma in the gut to knock him away but the pigtailed fighter rushed in again and swiping at him with his clawed hands.
Ryoga managed to block a downwards strike and palm strike to the side of his head, but Ranma turned those strikes into a grab and pulled Ryoga into a series of headbutts. He clawed at Ryoga's face then did a series of chops to his forehead and half knuckle/leopard paw strikes to his exposed throat, over and over again. Ryoga fell back but Ranma grabbed one of his arms and pulled him into a standing armbar, kicked him in the face and then swung his leg over the downed boy's arm and yanked HARD!
Ryoga yelled in pain as he felt his joints starting to dislocate. He rolled to the ground and tried to pull away again, only fro Ranma to turn and do a crouching back kick to his rival's face before rolling away and dashing back at him again. Ranma did another knee strike and cross elbow, then an upwards elbow which flowed into a chop to the side of the head and then a double palm to both of his temples, another headbutt, and then a front push kick before finishing with a backflip kick to the chin. Ranma looked up from a crouching position before running at him again.
"DON'T!" Ranma said as he did a jump side to back kick to front kick combo to Ryoga's chest.
"EVER!" He said then attacked with a barrage of punches that went so fast that they might have broken the sound barrier!
"EVER!" Ranma then did a outside crescent kick to spinning heel kick and then a shuffling sidekick.
"HURT MY LUM!" Ranma said as he ran at Ryoga and did a jump before calling out...
"Musubetsu Kakuto Ryu Ougi! RYUSEIKYAKU!" Ranma called out as he did a flying sidekick, but the difference between this one and his previous kicks, is that Ranma's whole leg had started glowing a bright blue, like it had caught on blue fire, making him look like a shooting star.
Ryoga panicked and tried to block, but the force of the kick was too strong and Ranma nailed Ryoga so hard that they both flew for nearly a whole block! Akane, who had gotten their just before the finale, had watched the whole fight and was shocked. After seeing Lum get swatted aside like a fly and seeing Ranma flip out like that made her jaw drop.
She had never, NEVER, seen him that mad! He started tearing Ryoga apart like it was nothing. She had just stood there, unable to move as Ranma moved like a freaking blure. And that last kick...What was THAT!? It looked like he had lit his leg on fire and hit Ryoga with a Rider Kick. She stood there for another second or two, but then she snapped herself out of it and ran over to Lum.
She and her may not be friends, but she still didn't want the girl to die or anything. She knelt down to her and looked over, but besides the large bruise on her left rib, nothing was broken. That was when she heard Lum moan as she started to wake up.
"Ow..." She said as she tried to sit up. "Ow. What happened? What hit me?" She said as she opened her eyes and shook her head.
"Well," Akane started to say. "You got here before me, Ryoga swatted you aside with that post he pulled out of the ground, and Ranma..." She trailed off.
"Darling? What about Darling? Is he alright!? Where is he!? Is he okay!?" She said as she shot up, only to wince at the pain from her wounded side.
"Ow..." She said as Akane helped her up.
"Well, last I saw him, he was pounding Ryoga to a pulp after calling you 'his Lum'..."
Lum went wide eyed at the last part.
"He...he called me...his Lum...?" She said as her eyes started to glitter and shine. "He called me HIS LUM!?" She said as she got right in Akane's face. Akane reeled back a little at how close the alien was getting.
"Um...yeah...?" She said. Lum's eyes lit up even more as she shot up and flew after Ranma and Ryoga.
"DARLING!" She cried out. Akane just stood there, watching Lum fly off. She blinked.
"Wow. Love sure is a powerful pain killer." She said as she ran after the flying girl.
Back with Ranma and Ryoga, Ranma was still pouring on the power of his kick as he sent Ryoga right into a fire hydrant. Water blasted out of it as Ranma flipped away from his banged up foe and landed a few feet away. As Ryoga tried to get back up, he looked up to see Ranma slowly walking towards him. As Ranma walked over to him, the water that hit his body started to evaporate into steam almost upon contact because his body was still so charged with ki that it heated up his body.
But despite that, the water did start to cause him to change slowly into a woman right before Ryoga's eyes.
"Wh-what the!? Ranma?" He said. Ranma growled at his rival.
"Yeah, I'm a girl, so what!? Let me tell you something bub! You think you had it rough!? When I went to China, I got cursed to turn into THIS whenever I get hit with WATER! WHICH IS EVERYWHERE! I got drafted to compete in a game of tag to save the world! Got FORCED into a marriage I didn't want! But that girl you hit! SHE IS MY GIRL! You HIT MY GIRL, YOU'REA DEAD MAN YOU BASTARD!"
Ranma shouted out as she charged at Ryoga to finish him off. Ryoga forced his aching body to move as he desperately tried to evade Ranma's assault.
"Wha!? WAIT A MINUTE!" Ryoga said but only to get hit with another rapid fire assault of blows before being hit with a couple of spinning aerial kicks. Ryoga noticed that Ranma may have lost some of his strength as a girl, but he STILL packed enough power to send him reeling! Worst of all, the last jump spinning back kick sent him flying right into the fountain of WATER!
"NO! AAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH!" Ryoga screamed as he splashed right through it. Ranma ran after him but once she got on the other side of fountain of water...there was no one to be found.
"RYOGA!" She called out. "Ryoga! Come out here! Where are you!? Get out here and fight you coward!"
Ranma looked around for his/her lost rival, but as she kept searching, her foot got caught on something, she looked down and saw Ryoga's clothes. Ranma lost her rage and blinked in surprise.
"Huh?" She said as she bent down to look at the discarded clothes. "What the? Why would Ryoga ditch his clothes?"
Ranma sat down and thought for a moment, but then a thought came to her head. Ryoga said that he had followed him all the way to China!
"No." Ranma said to herself. "No. Ryoga...you didn't follow me to Jusenkyo did you!?"
Ranma started to panic. He may be mad at Ryoga, but if he got cursed at Jusenkyo, then he might have turned into anything! Ranma started looking around, trying even harder to find the lost boy.
"Ryoga! Ryoga, where are you!?"
"Darling!" Came the voice of Lum. Ranma turned her head and was rewarded with a light green haired blur tackling him to the ground.
"Oh Darling! You actually fought for me! And you even called me your Lum! I'm so happy!" She said as she started kissing Ranma's face. It took a second for Ranma to register what she said, but when he/she did, she blushed like mad.
"I what!?" She said as she tried to pry Lum off of her. "N-NO I DIDN'T!"
"Yes you did!" Lum said, squeezing even tighter. "Akane told me after I woke up. Oh Darling."
Ranma was starting to panic. Did she actually say that!? She panicked even more, what to do, what to do?
"Hey! Are you guys alright!?" Came Akane's voice as she ran up to the two hugging girls. Ranma had never been more happy to see Akane in all the time he/she had known her.
"Uh, Akane! Hey! Hi! Um, how are ya?" Ranma said as she got up trying not to look Lum in the eye. "UM! Hey, uh, Lum's up, look Lum's okay! Um, we should go now! Ha ha ha ha!"
Ranma said as she tried to run away. Lum pouted as she got up and flew after the gender changing boy.
"Darling! Wait up!" She cried out. Akane just looked at where the two were heading and sighed.
'Why am I even here?' She thought to herself. She was about to run off when she saw Ryoga's clothes where Ranma was a few moments ago.
"Huh? Oh don't tell me that, that guy's a streaker too!" She said as she marched off. But before she could get too far away, she heard a sound. She looked around and saw a little black piglet running around. She blinked, and then she started gushing.
"AW! A little piggy! Come here little guy." She said as she picked up the piglet.
Meanwhile, Ranma was looking anywhere he/she could so as not to look Lum in the eye.
'Did I really call her my girl? Why did I call her my Lum? I don't like her like that! Wait...do I?' Ranma thought to himself as he/she tried to figure out the meaning behind her actions.
"Darling," Lum said, catching Ranma's attention.
"Huh?" She said, finally looking at the floating alien.
"How come you're not talking to me? Heck, you're not even looking at me. Is something wrong?" She asked as she flew closer to Ranma, making the boy turned girl blush.
"Uh, no, uh...I...just don't have anything to say, that's all." Ranma said. Lum pouted.
"Come on! You can't call me your girl and go about like you didn't!" The alien girl said. Ranma started to panic.
"I didn't say that!" She said.
"Yes you did!" Lum said. Ranma looked away.
"Oh come on! You only have Akane to go on and she's not exactly trust worthy." Ranma said. Lum started to spark as she growled at Ranma.
"Come on! Yes you did! You just don't want to admit it! Come on Darling, say I'm your girl!"
Ranma started to get mad. She turned to the floating alien as they came up to his/her mom's house.
"You know what!? Fine! You really want me to say it!? Tell ya what, if you can get rid of this stupid curse of mine, I'll shout that you're my girl form the top of the highest building in town! How about that!?" Ranma shouted at the alien.
Lum didn't say anything. She just floated up there, blinking like she had just had her brain turned off. Ranma was starting to worry.
"Um, Lum?" Ranma said as she/he waved a hand in front of her face.
"You mean it?" She said. "You...you mean it? You'll really say that?" She asked.
"Uh...yeah?" Ranma said. Lum snapped to attention.
"Don't go anywhere! I'll be right back!" She said as she flew straight up into the air and into her space ship, which was hovering right above Ranma's mom's house. Ranma blinked and scratched her tilted head.
"Uh..." She said. "Has that thing been up there this whole time?"
And as soon as he/she said that, the ship flew off. Ranma was even more confused. Where was she going? Back home? For some reason, that made the gender swapping boy feel a little sad.
"Ah, I'm sure she'll be back soon."
A week passed. A week without Lum. Ranma felt a little sad, after what happened with Ryoga, Lum flew off and nothing was heard from her since. Nodoka asked where she went, but Ranma really didn't know what to say. And to be honest, he had enough to worry about during that week.
As he was wondering where Lum went, some psycho who turned out to be Kuno's sister showed up and he had to compete against her in some Martial Arts Gymnastics competition. He also found out during this past week that Ryoga had fallen into the spring of drowned pig. Ranma had a laugh at that. When he found out that Ryoga was using his pig form to cuddle with Akane, Ranma was going to say something, but decided that his rival would get his just deserts sooner or later.
Now it was his final day at Furikan High, and the final bell had just rung. Ranma smiled, the end of one chapter and the start of a new one all over again. Just like the old days when he didn't stay in one place for too long. He was just saying good bye to his only two friends, Hiroshi and Daisuke, when SOMETHING came crashing into the classroom from the window!
"What the!?" He and a few others shouted as the smoke cleared and from the smoke cloud...came Lum!
"Lum!?" Ranma said. "Where the heck have you been!?" He said as he ran up to her and saw that she looked haggard and tired. Her hair was messed up, the had bags under her eyes, she look horrible.
"What the heck Lum, you look like death!" He said as Lum started panting...and held up a lazer gun!
"Darling...hold...still!" She said. And Ranma...
"Yipe!" He said as he started bouncing form one corner of the room to the other as Lum started shooting at him.
"Hit the deck! She's gone mad! She's kill crazy!" He said as he and the other students tried to get out of Lum's line of fire. She kept firing at Ranma who did everything in his power not to get hit.
"Hold...Still...Darling!" She said as she kept shooting.
"Like heck I will!" He said as he landed on Akane's desk, only to tackle her to the ground as he avoided another shot.
"Hey! Watch it!" Akane said.
"You watch it! You slow as molasses tomboy!" Ranma said. Akane got mad and grabbed Ranma in a full nelson and held him in front of Lum.
"Here Lum! Shoot him! Shoot him!" She shouted.
"What are you, CRAZY!" Ranma said as he tried to struggle out of Akane's grip. Lum aimed her gun and fired.
Ranma braced himself as he was zapped by the blast. He thought this was the end, ended by an alien girl. Not the way he thought he'd go out. But after a few seconds, he was fine. Nothing happened...
"Huh?" He said. Akane looked at him in shock.
"What? What!? Why is he alright! I thought you were going to vaporize him or something!" Akane said. Lum didn't say anything, she just pulled out a bottle of water and splashed Ranma.
"HEY! What the heck Lum!? Why did you...you...you..." Ranma trailed off as he looked down...and he was still a HE!
"Huh?" He said. He patted himself down. Akane also looked shocked.
"Hey...you're still...you?" She said. Ranma looked up in amazement.
"I'm still a guy." He said. Then, he started to grin. "I'm still a guy!" His grin then burst into a smile!
"I'M STILL A GUY!" He said as he started bouncing off the walls like a bouncing ball.
"I'M CURED!" He shouted and then jumped to Lum and picked her up, spinning her around.
"I'm cured! I'm cured! You beautiful alien you!" He said as he kissed her cheek and hugged her tight. But then he snapped out of it and looked at the tired looking girl.
"Um, how am I cured?" He said. Lum looked at him, looing like she was fighting to stay awake.
"I...went to that place in China you told me about. I worked...*YAWN*...I worked all week, non stop, no sleep, just to create that device that could get *YAWN* get rid of...your...curse..."
She trailed off as she fell asleep in Ranma's arms. He looked at the girl, snoring slightly as she snugged into his arms. She really liked enough to somehow make a cure for his curse? He smiled slightly at the space beauty, then picked her up bridal style.
"Well, so long guys. I'm taking this girl and my wired life with me to a new school. Sayanora!" He said as he jumped out the window. He decided to walk home so as not to wake Lum up. As he walked home, he looked down at the sleeping alien and smiled warmly.
"Thanks a lot. My Lum."
