A few days after the Day of the Rose, Austin was called into Saladin's office. He enters the dark metallic blue room with a wearing the standard Specialists uniform with an orange colored gem cape clasp.

"Is there anything you wanted to talk about Headmaster Saladin?" The young specialist nervously asked as he took a seat in front of the headmaster's desk.

Saladin smiled in an attempt to ease Austin's worries "I just wanted to see talk about your time at Red Fountain so far."

Austin exhaled a sigh of relief and answered"Well it's been pretty good so far, but I'm wondering why Helia isn't here."

Saladin responds "Yes, unfortunately he decided to drop out during the summer boot camp and enrolled at an art school."

"Really!? But he trained so hard at the Temple." Austin exclaimed his disbelief of the news.

Saladin shook his head "It's definitely sad to see such talent go , but this is his path to choose. Still how has things been with your squad."

Austin rubbed his neck "Yeah though things haven't been doing so great lately."

Saladin sighed "Oh yes the Riven situation, as Codatorta mentioned in the squad meeting, petty squabbles like this don't merit a squad transfer."

Austin says "I know that but Riven and Brandon have been at each other's throats since that race last weekend. Even last night the two nearly fought over Brandon having a two extra peas for dinner."

Saladin states "Believe me this will pass whether they want to or not as teamwork is a crucial component to your final grade."

Austin nods at the headmaster's comment "I definitely hope it's the former."

Saladin motioned to the door and gave a light hearted command"Now go on and enjoy your weekend."

Austin saluted to the headmaster as he got out of his seat. Before he left the office, he turned around abd said "I almost forgot, i wanted to thank you for not letting people know about... that thing."

Saladin lets out and depress sighed "You have the rights to your secrets, but it will eventually come out."

"Well until then, I'm going to live my life as normal student." Austin nodded as he left the office.

Right as he turned a corner towards the mess hall, Austin bumped into a disheartened Timmy.

Timmy says "Hey Austin, so how did the meeting with Saladin go?"

Austin responds "Pretty good, just wanted to see how I was doing with the late transfer."

Timmy gave a weary smile " Yeah, though things haven't been going that well recently."

Austin sighed as he leaned against the wall"I know, I just don't get it thought. The guys went to town for the race and when they came back, they nearly broke up the squad."

Timmy adds "Not just that but he's apparently hanging out with that witch Darcy. Seriously you go away for a weekend and you miss everything."

Austin says "I know, I was just helping out in the stables when all the drama happened."

Timmy says "Honestly I just hope this blows over soon and we can joke around like we used."

Austin says "Who knows only thing we can do is be patient and see who's willing to make the first step."

Suddenly Brandon and Sky came out and started to push Timmy and Austin towards the ship bay.

Timmy asked "Hold up guys, where are we going?"

Brandon responds "Bloom called us for a ride to Magix. So let's get the lead out of boots and move it."

After taking a ship to Alfea, Sky excited the vehicle to greet the girls "I'd ask if there were any damsels in distress in need of a ride, but you girls are hardly damsels."

Stella proudly smiled at the brunette "Too right."

Brandon says "Still it's definitely a great day to visit Magix."

Bloom says "Anyways, Musa headed to Magix City and we need a ride so we can find her."

Brandon asked "Do you have any idea where Musa is?"

Flora responds "I think the last bus was heading towards downtown."

This shocked the specialist minus Austin as Sky states "The Cloud Tower witches hang out downtown on Saturday afternoons."

Timmy adds "Yeah, they hold their dark arts and crafts meetings at the Hex Cafe."

Austin says "Come on, not all witches are like the Trix. So Musa should be fine."

Brandon says "Still we should get down there just in case they start something."

It was then Austin summoned a large eagle with a golden beak with a brown tip at the end, large wingspan and dark talons and white sharp claws. Its body was covered in slate grey feathers with some white ones on both sides of his head, wings, fingers, abdomen, legs, and tail.

He got on the bird and state "If we spilt up, we can cover a lot more ground."

Bloom got on the bird and asked "Mind if I come with, two… I mean three pair of eyes are better."

Austin smirks "Sure, just be sure to hang on because Nimbus is a pretty fast ride."

As the group hurried back onto the ship, Nimbus had took off into the air as Bloom screamed in excitement"This is honestly so cool."

Austin chuckles "Yeah, the guys tell me you're from Earth, Ive always wanted to go."

Shocked Bloom says "Really, I didn't think people really knew too much about a magicless realm."

Austin says "From what I've studied it wasnt always like that. Seems those with magic were prosecuted for their gifts, leaving most to either escape the planet or hide their abilities."

Bloom realized what Austin was referring to "That's Salem Witch Trial's, I didnt think actually witches were targeted.

"Maybe after we rescue Musa, we can go over more if your planet's history." Austing suggestd.

"Sure" The girl nodded and then asked "So how do Beast Tamers work, do you create them from your own magic?" Bloom asked as she felt the bird's iron like feathers.

Austin corrects her "Not exactly, tamers need to essentially defeat any creatures they want to form a contract with. After that we use magic to summon them for their abilities."

Bloom shouts as she points to the ground"I think I see Musa, but I also see a dozen witches after her."

Austin checked towards where she was pointing and said "Hold on, we're going in hot."

Nimbus swooped down towards the street as the eagle throw several of its feathers to stop the witches from reaching Musa.

Once Nimbus landed into the alleyway Musa was trapped in, Bloom states "Need some backup."

As the red fountain ship landed with the rest of the group exiting the vehicle, Musa responds "Maybe a little."

From the middle of the crowd , Riven snarled "Brandon!" as he approached the squire with his sword armed.

Brandon scoffed as he pulled out his sword "So this is the crowd you're hanging with now?"

Riven retorts "Yeah and unlike you, they got my back."

Brandon aggressively charged towards Riven as the two specialist locked blades.

The other witches attempt to move in to attack but were stopped by Sky slamming his broadsword into the ground to form a barrier.

Suddenly the temperature began to drop as ice began to form on the ground. The source of this was Icy as she furiously looked at the failure of the other witches.

Austin smirked "Time to heat things up." A stream of fire flew from the beast tamer's shoulder and melting away the ice.

Sky says "Dude , I didn't think you knew actually attack magic."

The flame disappearing to reveal a small orange-scaled reptile with four legs and a tail resting on his shoulder. "Nope that's just Flint. and it seems we can't talk things out."

As the girls transformed into their fairy forms, Bloom says "If that's the case, we have to fight."

The Winx girls began to fight against the Trix as the boys were left to deal with the other witches.

Timmy says as he readied his blaster "Okay Austin let's kick some butt." He looked to see Austin leaped in between Brandon and Riven's clash and blocked the latter's sword with the V-Rod.

While Austin was keeping the two apart from each other , he says "Chill out, we're supposed to be squad mates."

Riven shouts as he wound up to swing his blade "I don't have an issue with you Austin, but I won't hesitate slashing you down to get to Brandon."

Austin blocked the attack by placing the bottom end of his weapon against Riven's sword, he made a quick turn and thrusted the V-Rod into Riven's chest.

The attack knocked Riven onto his back as he blinked his eyes and looked around "W-what's going on."

Austin looked at Riven's confused face and before he could do anything else, Brandon went in to attack. Before the strike could land,

Austin blocked the blonde spaeclist's slash "And you gotta stop antagonizing Riven."

From the corner of his eyes , Austin saw Flora was shot out the sky. He called out "Nimbus" to command the Eagle to catch the nature fairy in its wings.

Riven and Brandon took advantage of Austin taking his eyes of them as they continued their battle.

While Austin wanted to stop the two's pointless brawl, he saw Timmy and Tecna's legs being encased in ice.

Flint lit the top of Austin's weapon with its flame. The tamer slammed the flame-lit side onto the ground as the fire ran across the ground and thawed the two out.

Icy states "If you think your so hot, try this." She shots a barrage of icicles at Austin, but the Beast tamer swung the rod to release a fire ball that melted the attack.

"What's the matter Icy, can't take the heat?" Austin snarked as he saw the ice witch fuming with rage.

Icy flew right at him, but Austin leaped out of her way and managed to scale his way to the rooftop.

As he was readying himself to attack the witch the second she caught up, he saw a bright light illuminated the surrounding area, nearly blinding everyone in the fight.

While blinking his eyes to regain his vision , Austin saw that all of the witches running away with Riven carrying a barely conscious Darcy.

Austin jumped down to the battlefield and asked an injured Sky "What just happened?"

Sky picked himself up and points to Brandon holding onto Bloom "She just unleashed this huge surge of magic, next thing I knew the witches could barely stop themselves from running."

Austin dispelled Nimbus and Flint as he assets the injuries "Other than a few bumps and scraps none of us are too injured but let's bring the girls back to Alfea. The nurses should be able to help them."

He walked over to help Flora up and asked "Are you okay, I saw you took a nasty hit."

While the two walked back to the ship, Flora struggled to respond "I'm fine , Nimbus helped brace my fall."

Just as the two were ascending the ramp into the ship's cockpit, Flora seemed to stumble but before she could fall, Austin managed to catch her in his arms.

"Guess that hit did more damage than you thought." Austin said as he sat Flora down on a chair to examine the girl's left knee.

Flora winched as she says "Like I said it's nothing major. Just need to keep off it for a bit."

Austin took out a handkerchief to wrap the girl's injury "It's not the best, but it should do til you get back."

Flora blushed as she says "Thanks, sorry about dragging you guys into another battle."

With a reassuring smile, Austin responds "Don't worry about it, a specialist is always ready to help those in need."

"Well expect for Riven that is." Musa snarked as she sat next to Flora.

"I'm not to sure about that" Austin pondered "Riven looked pretty confused during the fight, so I don't think he's fully himself."

"So like a spell, but he doesn't seem all that different."Timmy theorized after placing the ship on autopilot.

Spitefully, Brandon states "Exactly Riven has always been like this, guess he finally shows who he really is."
