"Mabel..."
"Huh? Who?"
"Rise, Mabel. The time has come for you to awaken."
"What are you-"
"You are fated to have a hand with your brother, your family and your friends in a great destiny. And it will soon find you..."
"What do you mean, destiny. Who even are you?"
"The time has come for you to awaken. Mabel."
A bright light shining in front of her took the face of a middle-aged man with blonde hair in a mullet and two stars for eyes.
"Mabel..."
Mabel Pines' eyes shot open with a gasp.
The 12-year-old girl turned her head to the bed next to her where her younger twin brother: Dipper Pines rested.
But to her surprise the bed was empty.
"Already up, huh." She muttered to herself.
Turning back to the foot of her bed, she reached out and nuzzled the head of her favorite pet pig, Waddles who oinked with satisfaction.
Chanting out of her nightshirt she dressed in a white T-shirt with a lavender skirt, white socks, black flats, and a light pink headband.
She then slipped on a solid light pink sweater before walking downstairs.
As she headed for the kitchen she passed by the Living Room and saw Soos and Wendy on break watching TV.
"Hey guys!" She cheerfully waved.
"Sup, girl dude." Soos waved back.
"Hey, Mabe." Wendy just raised a hand before dropping it.
"Where's Dipper?" she asked.
"He and Ford went Mystery Hunting earlier this morning." Soos replied.
"And since Stan's out giving Tourists a Mystery Tour of the Forest we have the whole Shack to ourselves."
"I see." Mabel replied. "Well, do you guys wanna watch a movie? Maybe Shimmery Twinkleheart?"
"NO!" Soos and Wendy exclaimed.
"I'd rather throw myself into the Bottomless Pit than hear that movie one more time," Wendy stressed.
"Yeah, no offense to that, Mabel." Soos replied. "How about we binge-watch Ducktective now that we've seen the finale."
"Yeah, I like the sound of that." Mabel replied.
Suddenly, the news jingle caught everyone's attention.
"We interrupt this program to bring you important news." Came the voice of Gravity Falls' reporter Sandra Jimenez. "A horde of Monsters is marching onto Gravity Falls. Nobody knows where they came from, but their aim seems to be to attack the town.
It showed a huge swarm of Monsters marching towards the town from out of the forest. They consisted of strange Red Goblins, animated skeletons, and giant humanoid lizards.
At the head of the army were two distinctive figures: One of them was a humanoid Serpent wearing olive green armor with a belt of poisons. His left eye looked scarred out while his right one had a yellow sclerae and a red slit pupil.
The other was a Middle-aged looking Witch in a black robe. She had mint-green skin and long ebony hair was several green streaks in it. Adorned on her head was a circlet with a yellow jewel in the center. Her eyes were a deep Violet which matched her lipstick.
Citizens are encouraged to either flee or take cover. This is Sandra Jimenez and we're locking the news station down. Over"
With that, the TV showed static before Mabel, Soos, and Wendy looked at each other in shock.
Soos was the first to panic.
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" He cried, "LOCK THE DOORS, BOARD THE WINDOWS, HIDE!"
Wendy grabbed the back of his shirt.
"Soos, calm down." She groaned. "How about you and Mabel take cover and board up the shack while I go kick a few of these monsters' butts."
"Yeah." Soos took a deep breath. "Thanks, Wendy...C'mom, Mabel. Let's go hide in Ford's basement.
Normally Mabel would have agreed but not this time.
Something about that dream she had sparked something inside of her.
This destiny she was told about...that she, her brother, her family and friends would have to play a part in...
Even if it was pretty strange, a part of her felt compelled to try and follow it.
She knew then and there that she had to fight...and so did Soos and Wendy.
Besides with her brother and her Grunkles still out there,
She knew all three of them could defend themselves for at least a while but with a horde of monsters that big? They'd need some help.
Luckily she had her fair share of fights with her trusty Grappling Hook, though it seemed like it would take more than that single gadget to handle a horde like that.
"Soos. Wendy." She told her friends, "Find anything you can use to defend yourselves with and protect the shack."
"What about you?" Soos asked.
"I'm going to find my family." Mabel narrowed her eyes as she raced upstairs to grab her grappling hook.
Soos and Wendy let out cries of protest to this impulsive decision but she paid no mind as she ran into her bedroom and grabbed the tool from underneath her bed.
Once that was done, she made her way to another part of the Shack to find an actual weapon to defend herself with.
Hopefully something from Grunkle Stan's attraction could do the trick.
She noticed a slender sword lodged within a unicorn attraction her Uncle set up. Said it was called 'The Sword Horse.'
She carefully fired her grappling hook around the blade and tried to pull it out without damaging the rest of the attraction, especially since her pet pig got in trouble for chewing up her Grunkle's previous horse-themed attraction.
She heard footsteps behind her and saw Soos and Wendy both armed with their own weapons.
Wendy had two Crossbows while Soos had a Jeweled Cutlass and a Pistol he had taken from the Bejeweled Buccaneer attraction: A Pirate made out of some sort of bejeweled statue.
"Careful." Wendy told her as Soos walked forward and sawed the sword out with his cutlass.
The sword clattered to the ground.
Before Mabel could grab it Wendy stopped her.
"Hey, are you sure about this?" Wendy asked. "I mean this isn't like fighting Zombies or tiny Golf People, these are dangerous monsters that we don't know anything about. I know you're worried about Dipper, Stan, and Ford but we've seen them handle themselves. Normally you'd just stay here safe and worried about them but now; you're actually trying to help them?"
"Wendy's right." Soos added. "I mean I can understand Dipper rising up to the occasion, at times but you? What's gotten onto you?"
Mabel tried to skirt around her dream and just went with. "I'm just worried about Dipper and my Grunkles. And you should too, Soos. I mean Stan is like a father to you."
Soos felt inspired by this. "You're right. We gotta help them."
"And Wendy." Mabel turned to her. "I know how much of a Grunkle, Grunkle Stan can be but he's the one who gave you this amazing job at the Mystery Shack. And if he was killed, you'd have to be sent upstate to work at your cousin's logging camp."
This spurred Wendy into action. "Ok, you've convinced me. But I'm only doing this to keep my job at the shack. Just as you should only be doing this to save your brother and not for some weird fantasy, or to prove something that you don't need to prove."
"Ok." Mabel nodded as she bent down and picked up the sword. Immediatley feeling a wave of energy rushing through her as her fingers closed around the handle.
"Just be careful." Wendy added. "I just don't want you getting hurt."
"I promise." Mabel nodded. "Now come on. Let's go help Dipper and my Grunkles help our town.
And with that. The three of them raced out the door leaving Waddles behind.
"And the pig can look after the house!" Soos cried as they closed the door.
[BGM (Battle Game Music): Under Siege: Hyrule Warriors]
Outside was a literal battlefield.
A swarm of Red Goblins were already closing in on the Mystery Shack but some of them were also attacking the forest, scattering many woodland animals and a few tourists who had made their way over to the shack.
"Where did all these Monsters come from?" cried Wendy as she rapidly aimed fire at the Goblins, nailing them down with the miniature arrows.
The defeated creatures crumbled to the ground and exploded in puffs of purple smoke.
"I don't know." Soos replied, "But we better do something fast if we wanna catch up with Dipper and Mr. Pines."
He slashed a horde of Red Goblins with his cutlass before firing his pistol.
Mabel lagged behind, her sword in one hand and her walkie-talkie in another.
"Master Mabel to Dippidy Dog!" She pleaded. "Dipper, please come in! Where ARE you?"
No response. But how? Weren't these things supposed to be long-distance?
A more Red Goblin, reinforced with wooden armor, charged at her but she swung her sword and killed it as it vanished in a purple puff of smoke.
"What is going on?" she wondered aloud as she charged through the hordes, swinging her sword around as they were defeated.
She was honestly surprised at how she was handling this weapon. It was almost like some sort of transcendent force was guiding her hand.
She looked towards Soos and Wendy and saw them expertly utilizing the weapons they picked up.
She wondered...whatever was giving her this skill with her weapon...was it doing the same with them?
"Someone, help!" a shrill voice rang out. "I'm too little to fight monsters!"
Mabel turned to see a small fairy with a pink aura flutter towards the Mystery Shack three Red Goblins at her heels.
Overcome by intense cute thoughts towards the fairy, Mabel immediately came to its rescue by lunging forward and waving her sword out in front of her until those enemies were defeated.
She turned to the Fairy floating a few inches from her.
"Thanks." The Fairy cheered out. "My name is Sprye. What's yours?"
"I'm Mabel." Mabel replied.
"Mabel," Sprye replied. "That's a cute name."
"We'll not as cute as you." Mabel complimented.
Wendy was sent sliding back towards the two.
"Less talking more fighting!" She shouted as she charged back.
"Right!" Mabel replied. She turned to the fairy. "Sorry, Sprye. But I gotta get back to fighting, I have to find my Brother and my Grunkles."
"Grunkles?" Sprye asked.
"My Great-Uncles." she clarified. "Anyways, I gotta so, you should get somewhere safe too."
"Wait!" Sprye called out. "What if I came with you? I have someone I need to find as well."
Mabel turned to her. "Who?"
"My best friend." said Sprye. "She and I were separated when the monsters attacked the Forest, maybe if I stuck with you I could run into her again."
"That sounds like fun!" Mabel agreed. "Wow, my first fairy friend. We're going to have a lot of fun together. Though I better keep you away from Soos."
"Who?" asked Sprye.
"Nobody important." Mabel replied. "Now c'mon. Let's go find our people!"
Sprye flew at Mabel and tucked herself within the human girl's collar as the latter hurried off to deal with more hordes.
"Alright." Wendy told Soos and Mabel as she opened fire on a few more Goblins. "Enough with these small guys, let's go look for the others in the town!"
The three of them turned to the trail that lead to the Town only for an explosion of Violet Magic to occur before them which caused several Boulders to appear and cut off their route.
An evil cackle filled their air.
"EEEEEE-HEE-HEE! Kill them all!" The Witch from before demanded. She was hovering in the air commanding her hordes.
At once a wall made of Ivy and brambles cleared up as more Red Goblins poured out of the Keep.
"Look!" Soos pointed. "An outpost! If we take it, we might be able to stop their coming out of that area."
"Right." Wendy nodded. "Though we'll still have to stay on alert. Got it, Mabel?"
Mabel nodded as she followed Soos and Wendy into the Clearing.
[BGM: A Great Evil: Hyrule Warriors]
Waiting for them was the Snake Man from TV. In his right hand, he held a pike that resembled a Serpent's fang with acid dripping from beneath the hilt.
"Whoa! Who are you, Snake Dude?" asked Soos.
"I am Nítho." replied the Serpent. "I am known as the Snake Warrior or better yet, your killer!"
"We'll see about that." Wendy snarled as she charged at him firing her crossbows rapidly.
She leapt up for a dropkick, only for him to block it with his Pike.
With an intense swipe, he swung her back and she rolled across the ground.
"Wendy!" Mabel cried.
Soos charged at the monster, swinging his cutlass and firing his pistol while screaming rapidly. However, once he approached the Snake Warrior, the enemy morphed into a giant snake and burrowed underground forcing the Handyman to stop.
"Wh-where did he go?"
A mass of green erupted from the ground and slammed into Soos' big stomach, sending him flying back onto Wendy.
"Soos!" Wendy exclaimed muffled by the Handyman's big torso. "Get off of me!"
With a kick she knocked Soos off her stomach as he rolled over weakened as she caught her own breath.
Mabel and Sprye rushed up in horror to see the wounded shape Soos and Wendy were in.
She glared at the Snake Knight and had her sword drawn.
"Get out of my way, girl." Nítho sneered, literal venom spitting from his mouth.
"No." She glared, determination rising in her, "Leave Soos and Wendy alone and let me find my family."
"Your family?" Nítho taunted. "What makes you think they could stand a chance against me as you do? Give up! Before it's too late."
Now part of Mabel wanted to listen to these words, she was a lover, not a fighter, and she should flee and probably leave Soos and Wendy behind as they would have likely told her to save herself.
But another part of her was telling her that she needed to protect them; it was stemming from the dream she had. For some reason, she now felt like it was HER responsibility to protect them, even if it would be the other way around given the age differences."
She drew her sword and held it in a fighting stance.
"Very well then." He snarled. "Enjoy dying together."
He raised his pike above his head as an intense wave of venom began to swirl around the blade causing it to bubble with green toxins.
"Oh no!" Mabel cried as she rushed over to Soos and Wendy and pulled their heads close to her chest.
Sprye buried herself deep into Mabel's collar.
With a roar, Nítho thrust the pike at the three as a wave of toxic venom blasted from the tip and onto the three of them.
For a while there was nothing...and a cloud of poison floated to where Mabel, Soos, and Wendy once lay.
Satisfied with his victory he turned to take his leave...
However, a flash of pink light forced him to turn around.
The Poison Fog cleared to reveal Mabel, Soos, and Wendy to be unharmed surrounded by a pink barrier.
Mabel also seemed to realize this as she let go of her weakened friends to observe the barrier that formed around them.
She then noticed the back of her right hand was glowing the same color.
[BGM: Hyrule Field 1st: Hyrule Warriors]
She could make out a mark of energy formed on it: Four small diamonds joined together to form one larger diamond, the bottom one shining a pink color.
Nítho's eyes widened in shock and surprise. "Could you be...?"
Mabel heard this and turned to him. "'Could I be' what?"
Nítho then seemed to think back on something before turning back to Mabel. "So you're one of its chosen. Impressive."
"What are you talking about?" Mabel asked.
Nítho only chuckled. "I shall take my leave for now, but next time we meet, you're dead."
With that, a cloud of poison erupted from him and cleared to reveal he transformed into a giant snake.
He then burrowed underground leaving Mabel, Sprye, Soos and Wendy stunned.
"Woah, Mabel, what was that?" Asked Soos.
Mabel looked at her hand. The mark was still there.
"I'm...not so sure." She replied. "But if these are some sort of superpowers then It's proof that I have been chosen! Come on!"
She charged through the clearing while Soos and Wendy followed after her.
"Mabel, slow down!" Wendy cried.
They arrived near a thicker area of trees and saw a giant Lizard Humanoid harassing a Gnome with brown hair who was cowering in fear.
It was Jeff: Leader of the Gnomes and Mabel's former kidnapper.
"I can't hold it off for much longer!" Jeff cried as it swung a tiny dagger that barely cut the Lizard-Man's skin. "Please help! Someone!"
Normally, Mabel hated Gnomes due to them kidnapping her to be their queen during her first days in Gravity Falls, but even she couldn't leave them to suffer like this.
Mabel narrowed her eyes and charged at the Lizard-Man ramming into his back.
The creature glared at her.
"Are you looking to ssssquare off againsssst me?" It sneered.
Mabel nodded.
"Sssso be it." It growled before whipping its tail at her.
Mabel was sent flying back by its attack before catching herself.
She lunged at it but it blocked her strike with the giant shield and whipped her back again with its tail.
"Mabel!" Soos and Wendy cried.
"Please take a knee, girl-dawg!" Soos begged. "I don't want you getting hurt!"
"Guys, I'll be fine!" Mabel insisted.
The Lizard Man then let out a ball of fire at her causing her to jump out of the way.
"Mabel!" Spryte exclaimed as she flew out of her hiding place and targeted the Lizard-Man, "Wait for my signal, and when I say 'go' attack!"
Mabel nodded.
The Lizard lunged at Mabel, but she jumped out of the way and Sprye flew towards the tail to direct her Human friend.
"Now!" she cried.
Mabel used her Grappling hook to wrap around her enemies tail and yanked it back causing it to stumble onto its back.
Mabel's blade temporarily glowed a pink aura before she leaped up into the air and plunged the sword into its chest.
The Lizard-Man shrieked in pain before it disappeared in purple smoke, its gauntlet and a few of its scales left behind.
Jeff ran up to Mabel.
"Thanks Mabel!" The Gnome replied. "How can I repay your kindness?"
"Well we could use your help," Mabel suggested, trying to put aside her contempt for the Leader Gnome. "We need to hurry into town but the way has been blocked off by some boulders. Do you have something that could help us?"
"As a matter of fact, I do." Jeff replied. He pointed to a small cave that was near them. "One of our most precious Treasures: The Magic Bombs are hidden there."
"What's so magic about them?" Soos asked.
"For every bomb you use, they can regenerate inside of the sack they are carried around in. If you need bombs, then that's your best option."
"Great!" Wendy smirked. "Let's get going!"
She, Soos, Mabel, Sprye, and Jeff hurried into the cave where there was a small treasure chest resting deep within the center.
"Is this it?" Mabel asked Jeff.
"Yep." Jeff nodded.
Mabel opened the chest and pulled out a small bag that looked full of something round.
She reached in it and pulled out a crystalline bomb.
"It's beautiful." She exclaimed.
"Careful." Jeff warned if those things experience any impact while they're undefended, they'll explode."
"Duly noted." Mabel replied as she put the bomb back into the bag.
As they made their way out, a boulder fell over the mouth of the cave trapping them in.
Shrill laughter could be heard from outside and everyone knew it was more of those demons.
"Not to worry." Jeff assured. "We have those bombs so we can use them to break out." He addressed Mabel with a suave smirk. "Care to do the honors milady?"
Mabel grimaced with irritation before pulling out a Bomb and pressing it against the boulder hard.
"Now take cover!" Jeff ordered. "They are bombs after all."
They rushed back a little.
The bomb began to flicker for a while before letting off a small explosion, causing the larger stone to break apart into smaller rocks.
The Five of them emerged from the cave back to the clouded sky, brought by those enemies.
"Excellent! With these bombs, we should be able to destroy those boulders and reach the town." chuckled Sprye.
"Exactly, Fairy." Jeff smiled. "Or rather YOU guys will be doing that."
"Why's that?" asked Wendy.
"I'm retreating to Gnome Forest, I gotta protect my kind from these monsters, and that means closing off the secret entrance from the forest."
Jeff hopped off Mabel's shoulder and rushed deeper into the forest.
"Good luck with the bad guys!" He called as he ran past a set of trees that closed in once he passed through.
Mabel groaned with annoyance. "Thank Twinkleheart he's gone."
Soos and Wendy exchanged looks, they knew how much Mabel hated gnomes ever since her first week of summer.
"Mabel, why do you hate him?" Sprye asked her human friend.
"It's a long story." Mabel grumbled as she gripped the Bomb Bag. "But some of them pretended to be a Teenager who I fell in love with and then tried to kidnap me to be their queen against my will."
"That's pretty intense." Sprye nodded. "But you don't have to worry about them right now. Let's go find your brother and your Great Uncles."
"Right," Mabel nodded. "They come first."
She approached the boulders that were blocking the path to the town and tossed one at the rubble.
The bomb flickered for a while before destroying the rocks allowing them to advance into the town.
"Let's go." Mabel told them. "Besides, I'm worried about the town...namely Candy and Grenda."
She, Soos, and Wendy took the fight to the town rushing past the remains of The Tent of Telepathy as they did so.
The Town was overrun with monsters by the time they arrived.
Monsters were chasing fleeing citizens breaking and attacking property and even looting places.
Amidst the chaos, Mabel could make out a 60-something-year-old man in a black suit punching down monsters with brass knuckles and a Roque Mallet.
"Grunkle Stan!" Mabel cried as she hurried over to him.
"Mabel!" Stan dropped his bat and hugged her.
"You're OK." She exclaimed,
"That I am." He nodded. "I was driving some tourists around when those monsters appeared. I decided to be the hero and drive them into town to take cover...well for an extra price."
Mabel smiled as she rolled her eyes.
"Hey have you seen Dipper or Ford?" she asked.
Stan shook his head. "I haven't."
Mabel frowned at this. "I'm just worried about Dipper."
Stan put a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, I know you are, pumpkin. But your brother is safe with Ford and that Six-Fingered freak can handle himself."
Mabel smiled, assured.
"Anyways, what's the big deal with these monsters, and how do we get rid of them?" asked Stan.
"I have an idea," Sprye suggested as she flew out before the others.
"Woah, a Fairy." Wendy exclaimed in awe. "Though, no offense, I stopped believing in your guys ever since I was Five."
Sprye ignored this. "I have a plan, But first we're going to have to drive the monsters out of the town and the nearby lake and force them into the forest. After that, we'll regroup and I'll tell you the rest of my plan."
Mabel, Stan, Soos, and Wendy nodded before dispersing though Sprye stuck with Mabel.
Mabel raced through the town, her sword in one hand, but she was also fixated on the diamond mark on her right hand.
"Woah..." She repeated in awe. "How did I even get this."
"I dunno." Sprye replied. "But it looks so beautiful."
Mabel nodded. "So what's the plan?"
"Drive the monsters out of the town Square." Sprye told her.
Mabel nodded and proceeded to slash her opponents with her rapier, swinging her arm elegantly as she did so.
Another Lizard-Man began to fire at her from the Town Square rooftop with a bow and arrow.
She tried tossing one of the crystal bombs from afar but it didn't soar that high and exploded on the ground.
Groaning with annoyance, she dodged and took cover behind the Statue of Nathaniel Northwest I.
"Darn it. I wish I had a bow and arrow to shoot him with!" She complained.
Suddenly the Mark on her Hand began to glow and a bow and arrow made of pink light appeared in her hands taking the place of her Rapier.
"Huh." mused Sprye. "Ask and you shall receive."
Mabel realized something. "This Mark...it's giving me this power. THIS IS SO COOL!"
She stepped out from behind the statue with her energy bow drawn.
"Eat this SUCKA!" She fired an arrow of energy at the Lizardman, causing him to fall off his tower and hit the ground, dispersing into Purple Smoke.
The Red Goblins screeched at this, especially as Mabel fired more Energy arrows from her bow obliterating most of them. Those who survived fled the town into the forest.
Mabel smirked with satisfaction as she dismissed her Energy Bow and her Rapier re-appeared in her hands.
"Awesome." She whispered.
She then turned to see Soos and Wendy rush up.
"Well, we drove those monster dudes out of the area near the lake." Soos piped up. "So what's next, Fairy Girl Dude?"
"Follow me to the lake!" Sprye ordered.
"You guys go on ahead." Stan ordered. "I gotta to return to the shack and protect the merchandise...and our home!"
And with that he turned tail and bolted off to where the Shack was.
Mabel, Soos, and Wendy rolled their eyes before following the fluttering Fairy as she lead them to the lake.
After running for a bit, they rushed to a small Cluster of Trees nestled on a long trail just south of the lake
"Are you sure it's here?" Wendy asked Sprye over Soos' loud pants as they stopped to catch their breath.
"Positive." Said Spryte, "It's just around the..."
However, once they reached the front of the ring, they gasped.
It was covered by another set of boulders.
"Aw dang!" Sprye cursed. "They must have anticipated my plan. Now what do we do?"
"Um, we still have those magic bombs." Soos reminded.
"Oh, right." Sprye laughed to herself.
Mabel pulled another Bomb from the bag and pressed it against the boulder.
With a BANG! The boulder exploded, allowing them to move into the glade.
In the middle of the cluster was a wide spring the size of a proscenium stage. Surrounding it were several white stones.
"Now what?" Mabel asked her fairy friend.
"Allow me." Sprye floated over to the spring and flew in a ring over the white stones. She released bright pink dust that sprinkled on top of said stones causing them to glow.
At that, the water began to sparkle as the stones began to shine with multicolored light.
"O Noble Fairy Queen." Sprye called out. "Hear my call. We wish for your assistance in this fight! Please, come forth!"
The seal of magic formed over the lake and out sprang a giant woman: The Queen of Fairies.
She was a truly magnificent sight, far more than your average fairy. She was a beautiful statuesque woman with long rainbow-colored hair tied in three pigtails that was decorated with leaves and flowers. Her outfit was a revealing one that seemed to be made from more flowers and leaves. She had long indigo fingernails and was barefoot. She had sparkly magenta eyes, with pink eye shadow and red lipstick.
"Ah. Sprye. My loyal fairy." The Queen smiled, her voice echoing across the woods. "And human friends...what compels you to bring me forth?"
"Your Majesty, we need your help." Sprye pleaded. "A horde of Monsters is attacking Gravity Falls. We've forced them into the north and then summoned you for your assistance in finishing them off."
The Fairy Queen let out a boisterous guffaw.
"Don't say a thing. I've got a spell that surely...blow your troubles away!"
At the end of these words, she raised her hands and a flurry of fairies of many colors flew up.
A few of them flew around Mabel and took out several Magic Bombs from its endless pouch before flying into the sky with them.
As the remaining monsters gathered after retreating into the forest up ahead.
Their relief instantly diminished once a darkened shadow spread over their heads.
They turned to see many fairies with the Magic Bombs fly together to form an even LARGER bomb that fell to the ground.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The Bomb created a huge explosion from the forest that was visible from where the other three were.
"We did it!" Mabel cheered. "Thank you Fairy Q-"
She turned only to see the Fairy Queen absent, the spring had returned to normal.
"Don't worry," Sprye assured Mabel. "She's merely returned to her domain. For now, we better get out of here and take on the remaining enemies and the town will be saved."
"Yeah!" Soos and Wendy cheered, completely Reinvigorated.
The Witch from before was floating from afar from the Cliffsides when she saw the explosion too.
"What in the name of Terracotta was that?!" She exclaimed.
"Maivy!" A big Red Goblin addressed its Mistress. "I have grave news, our forces have suffered heavy losses. Apparently they were able to contact the Fairy Queen."
Maivy groaned with annoyance. "First Nítho bails out on this invasion after losing to a couple of girls and a man-boy and now the Fairy Queen steps in?! I should have known our plan of kidnapping fairies would have been undone by the few that escaped us. Anything else to report? What's the word on Stanley Pines"
The Goblin smirked at this. "Some of our scouts saw him hurrying back to that tourist attraction: The Mystery Shack. He appears to have been traveling there alone."
Maivy smirked at this. "This makes things interesting. But, those other three who serve him have proven themselves to be a bit too competent. I can't risk them intervening in my plot."
An idea sparked in her mind and a wicked grin formed on her face to reveal fanged teeth.
She summoned her broomstick, floated over the woods, and raised her right hand skyward as the neon green emerald embedded in her ring began to glow a sickly color that elicited everyone's attention.
"Come forth! KOMODO-SAUR!" She shrieked.
[BGM: Boss Appears: Hyrule Warriors]
A Black-Red Magic Circle Appeared and a Massive Dinosaur with yellow scales, red horns, and scarlet crystalline spikes from its back to its tail. Its eyes and claws were orange. The creature let out a savage roar as it curled up into a ball and rolled into town, crashing through a few buildings and stopping Mabel, Soos, and Wendy in their tracks.
[BGM: Dinosaur Boss Battle OT: Hyrule Warriors]
Soos let out a scream at the sight of it.
"Eee-hee-hee!" Maivy cackled. "Enjoy your little game with my pet! I have more important things to attend to."
With that she flew away on her broom over to the Mystery Shack. Its employees too occupied with the beast to notice her.
"How did that thing get here?!" Mabel cried.
"I don't know..." Wendy hesitantly spoke before she readied her Crossbows. "But let's see what we can do to stop it."
She rushed forward firing several shots from her crossbows only for them to simply graze the Komodo-Saur's thick shell.
"Darn." She cursed. The monster to rear up and slam its claws back into the ground which sent her flying into the wall with a cry of pain.
"Wendy!" Mabel and Soos ran to her aid.
Seizing its chance, the Komodo-Saur curled into a ball and rolled at her.
But Soos scooped Wendy up in his arms and rolled out of the way, landing on Mabel as the monster crashed into another wall.
The Monster quickly turned its body to them with a slam and proceeded to open its maw as firey energy surged within it.
Within a few seconds, a fireball formed from its mouth and it soared at the trio as they were forced to duck.
"How do we take this thing down?" Soos asked.
Mabel turned to Sprye. "Spryte, what even is that thing?"
"That's a Komodo-Saur," Sprye replied. "A creature from another dimension!"
"So It's part Komodo Dragon, part Dinosaur?" Wendy asked.
The fairy shrugged. "Eh. Pretty much."
"So how do we beat it?" asked Soos. "Aw man, we should have waited to summon that Fairy Dawg AFTER that thing appeared! That way that mega bomb could have killed it too!"
Sprye caught on what Soos said. "Wait, say that last part again, Soos."
"That way that Mega Bomb could have killed it too?" he replied.
"That's it!" Sprye exclaimed. "Guys, I know how to at least stun it!"
"How?" Mabel and Wendy asked.
"Follow my lead!" She whispered the plan to both of them.
The Komodo-Saur was continuing to destroy the town until a shot of ammo from a pistol and two arrows shot and struck at its head crystal forcing it to turn around.
"Hey! Over here you giant, mega...reptile Dude!" Soos slowly called out.
"Come over here and get us you big jerk!" Wendy shouted.
This seemed to provoke the monster as it rolled at them causing them to dodge.
It slowly began to breathe a wave of fire a them as they retreated before charging up its breath to unleash another fireball at it.
"MABEL! NOW!" Wendy shouted.
Mabel ran out from behind a building, the Bomb Sack in her hands as she began to empty a limitless amount of bombs into the Monster's Mouth before it was forced to swallow them.
The Bombs exploded within it causing it to collapse to the ground, its insides severely damaged.
"NOW!" Wendy cried as she, Soos, and Mabel charged at the monster and began attacking its soft underbelly.
Soos was firing rapid ammo from her pistol and stabbed rapidly with his cutlass.
Wendy fired at the creature's stomach with her crossbows.
Mabel rapidly slashed its chest with her rapier.
However, it wasn't before long before the creature got back up and proceeded to slam them back.
The Monster then turned from them and slowly made it way in the opposite direction, shallow cuts on its belly and several arrows.
"It's heading for the Mystery Shack!" Soos cried.
"NO!" Mabel cried out. "Grunkle Stan!"
She summoned her Energy Bow and tried firing it from afar but the Monster didn't seem to react.
It was dead set for the shack.
"Stop!" Mabel pleaded. "STOP! COME BACK!"
She tried running for it but Soos and Wendy held her back.
"GRUNKLE STAN!" Mabel screamed.
The Beast was starting to make its way past the Tent of Telepathy and started to trample over fallen trees to its destination.
Mabel was horrified.
In response to her struggle, the Mark on her hand began to shine an intense color and she was surrounded by a pink aura emitting circular waves as the pupils in her eyes changed into Diamond Shapes of a Fuscia color.
Soos and Wendy gasped softly as they released their grip on the girl.
Sprye floated next to Wendy in surprise.
She held out her hands, summoned an even larger energy bow, and fired an arrow of even more intense energy into the back of the Monster.
This caught its attention as it wheeled around and glared at the three of them as Mabel's aura vanished.
The Komodo-Saur began to charge up another fireball as Mabel rushed up to it, pulled out the bomb sack, and began rapidly flinging bombs into its mouth until he tipped over.
"Come on!" Mabel turned to her friends. "Let's finish that thing!"
The other two Mystery Shack employees nodded and bolted off to the weakened monster and attacked again.
However, they were met with bad news.
"Dudes..." Soos was the first to speak up. "I'm almost out of ammo.
"Same here." Wendy held up her Crossbows.
"Well keep trying!" Mabel was getting desperate. "Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford and Dipper need us!"
"But, our blades aren't doing enough damage." Soos replied. "Look Mabel, it's nice that you're starting to worry a bit more about your family, but you need to acknowledge there are some things even you can't do."
"On our own maybe," Mabel wasn't listening to what Soos was trying to say. "But I believe together, we can do anything! So please...Wendy with your moxy and Soos'...Soos! Let's at least try!"
Soos and Wendy looked at each other and nodded as they refocused their efforts...but as they did so, more things began to happen.
Soos' Cutlass suddenly began to flare with deep green energy as the shots from his pistol suddenly began to glow the same color
Wendy's Crossbows began to shine a cyan color while her arrows seemed to resemble that aura Her shots began to leave frigid marks on the Komodo-Saur's that made it easier for the others to cut through.
The Komodo-Saur began to stir but for some reason it couldn't get back up, some of the pistol shots from Soos' Pistol that hit the grounf seemed to be forming a green glow that seemed to bind it to the grass.
The blade of Mabel's rapier began to glow a bright pink color as she plunged the blade into its stomach, she pushed it deep and concentrated before swinging it up, its blade blazing with pink light with Orange, Green, and Purple sparkles as the Handle glowed golden.
The Komodo-Saur let out one final roar of pain before it dropped its head and went limp. Exploding into black-purple smoke.
Mabel, Soos and Wendy were panting by the end of it.
"Hey look!" It was Mayor Tyler Ceutbikor.
"Those Mystery Shack Employees defeated the Monsters and saved the town!"
The townspeople cheered at this...though some of them were absent.
The Northwests Mabel could understand (even Pacifica though she was standing up against them), but Candy and Grenda? Her best friends? What was up with that?
Paying no mind to it, Mabel accepted their applause and humbly bowed, Soos and Wendy did the same before they all turned to return to the Mystery Shack.
"Wow." Mabel exclaimed. "I really don't know what came over me in that battle but I never want it to stop!"
"Yeah." Soos replied. "You were like an all-new different dude, dude."
"A lot more energetic." Wendy added, "And very considerate and concerned about your family...even more so than usual I might add."
"Well, the energetic part I can explain." Sprye sheepishly admitted. "I do have that kind of influence on people."
"Yeah, I'm not sure what that's about." Mabel added. "But right now let's rest and then we can all go out and look for Dipper and F-"

She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the Mystery Shack.
It was beset by monsters who were littered about it.
"Monsters! At the Shack?!" Soos exclaimed in shock.
"That giant beast was a distraction." Wendy realized. "That witch general only sent him to keep us busy while she attacked the Shack."
"Grunkle Stan." Mabel gasped before sprinting off to the Shack.
"Mabel! Wait!" Soos and Wendy cried as they followed her.
She drew her rapier as she slashed at the Red Goblin that came at her left and right.
She burst into the gift shop to see it littered by more Goblins who were juggling the merchandise wearing the clothing or just breaking random things. The Vending Machine was battered and ripped off of its post revealing the secret entrance to Ford's lab.
She noticed a Red Goblin rush out of the lab and push past her. She noticed it was holding a snowglobe with a sparkly mass of goop inside of it.
She paid no attention to it as she focused her efforts in searching for Stan.
"Stan?" She broke through the door to the TV room. Some monsters were watching TV but never got to see the twist on their show as Mabel instantly cut them down before running on down the hall?
"Grunkle Stan?!" She threw his office door open but nothing. He wasn't hiding in his office.
"Grunkle Stan?!" She threw open the bathroom to see some red Goblins horsing around.
Upon seeing her, they seemed to growl offended at her invading their privacy but gulped when they saw her draw her sword.
After killing the Red Goblins in the bathroom she made her way up to her Grunkle's room hoping that he was hiding there.
Ignoring the signs he wrote on his door to Keep Out (even if they were mainly for her brother,) she opened the door, hoping he was hiding there...but nothing.
Sighing with despair she slumped back up to the attic to be alone. Only to see three Red Goblins waiting for her. They lunged at her at the first opportunity and Mabel, in no condition to evade could only shield her eyes.
SLASH!
She heard the sound. But she didn't feel anything.
She opened them just a quarter to see three puffs of black smoke rise into the air.
Standing there, her savior was one of her two best friends: Grenda Guinivere Grendinator.
She was holding onto the handle of a giant, oversized Blade that was resting in a giant scabbard on its back.
"Grenda?" Mabel asked her friend in awe
"Are you good?" She asked.
Mabel nodded. "What are you doing here?"
"I came here to look for you." The gruff girl replied. "I had a dream last night that I had some sort of destiny that involved..."
"Your friends and family?" Mabel asked.
Grenda's eyes widened upon hearing this. "More or less. Why?" She realized it immediately. "Did you?"
"Have the same dream?" She replied. "Yes, I did. A man in a weird blue suit and stars for eyes told me that I had to rise to some kind of destiny along with my friends and family."
"So did I." Grenda replied. "Though the person who told me was this giant baby in golden clothes with the voice of a middle-aged man."
"You mean the Time Baby?" She asked.
"I don't think so, no." She shook her head. "This one looked and acted a lot nicer, and three other babies that looked like him were with him too."
"Do you think Candy had the same dream as us?" Mabel asked.
Grenda shrugged. "I haven't seen her today. She told me she had to go take care of something important."
"Important..." Mabel mused. "Do you think it's related to the dreams we had?"
"Likely." Grenda replied. "But if she's probably already playing her part in whatever's going on, then we better do the same."
Grenda held out her hand to reveal a Raspberry-colored Sweater with the picture of a Shooting Star accompanied by a purple, green, and orange-striped tail falling toward the left.
"Mabel, be a hero worthy of wearing this sweater." Grenda insisted as she dropped it into Mabel's Hands.
Mabel nodded. "Okay. After I put this on, let's go look for Grunkle Ford...Dipper...and Grunkle...Grunkle St...Stan."
She walked forward but her legs were starting to wobble and she sank to her knees and began to pant.
"Woah, woah. Easy." Grenda rushed over to her side. "I can tell you've been through a lot already."
"I had to fight a Snake Man, Lizards, A Giant Dinosaur and several tiny goblins..." She groaned. "What? You think I can't handle a few more?"
"It's not that." Grenda assured. "But I don't think you can really do so much right now. Look, rest for a while and we'll look for Dipper and Ford later on."
Mabel looked down, still worried about her family.
"Look." Grenda assured her. "I've seen how strong Mr. Ford is. He can handle himself no problem, and I know he can protect your brother too while he's at it. Mr. Pines...well I'm sure he's find."
"That witch came here." Mabel replied. "Were you able to catch her?"
Grenda sadly shook her head. "By the time I came here, only those monsters were around. Neither you nor Mr. Pines were here."
Mabel sighed sadly. "Maybe the Witch took him. But why? What does she want with a crummy old man like him?"
Grenda shrugged. "It's hard to say. But one thing's for sure. Whatever happened today is probably only starting."
Mabel looked down with fright and uncertainty as Soos and Wendy walked up.
Unable to keep it in, Mabel ran into Wendy's arms and hugged her tightly as the older girl hugged her back.
Sprye flew out from behind Wendy and nuzzled the cheek of her human friend as the five of them stayed together. Needing to prepare for what was coming next.

A Shaded Triangle dripping with dark essence floated before a crystal ball watching the events that unfolded with a single glowing eye.
His Right hand glowed a similar diamond symbol only this one was white and the topmost diamond was the one shining brightest.
"Hm. So now we know who one of the Diamond bearers are...To be honest I wasn't expecting her." He mused. "She's just as strong as the rest of her Family."
His self-monologue was interrupted when he heard two sets of footsteps enter from the door behind him.
"Nítho, Maivy." He smiled without turning around. "Glad to see you well."
"Yes, the siege on the Mystery Shack was a success." Maivy grinned. "Despite Nítho slacking off earlier on."
"I merely retreated to inform Master Cipher about the whereabouts of one of his Diamond pieces." Nítho defended himself.
"First off. You can simply call me 'Bill' said Bill. Second of all, I'm glad Nítho did inform me, otherwise, I would have stretched myself thin trying to find the last piece."
"Well, we handled the Old Guy. He put up a bit of a fight but in the end, he was nothing more than an old geezer who we kicked to the nursing home." Maivy smirked.
"Any word on Pine Tree?" Bill asked.
"Not since he escaped." Nítho replied. "For a small, sweaty, and awkward boy, he sure is a slippery little brat."
"Do you think he returned to the Shack by now?" Maivy asked.
"Not likely. He knows too well that he'll be caught easily that way Especially since he's shown to possess one of the 12 things that can throw a wrench into this whole thing." Bill shrugged. "Plus now that Question Mark and Ice Bag have shown to possess them as well, his return will only put all three of them at risk. Continue using our scouts to find him, while our main force targets the others," he ordered. "I still have to rejuvenate my new vessel for possession. My temporary Physical Form is fading fast, and unless I get stuck in the mindscape before that happens. I need to get to work."
"And who exactly did you choose to be your vessel again that you would have us target that Author and his brother?" Asked Maivy.
Bill's shadowed form turned with a (not visible) smirk.
"At first I intended for it to be one of my two old puppets from Their Family. But my little encounter with time travel in shaping my first one to be the jerk he is now, gave me an idea for it."
"And that's?" Asked Nítho.
"Someone who is to be considered the Worst Pines there is. Someone whose very presence will demoralize Sixer and his Brother and dissuade them from standing up against me. And someone who will physically, mentally, AND emotionally break Shooting Star and Pine Tree!"
He turned back to his Generals.
"I take it the recovery of the Interdimensional Rift from the Shack was a Success?"
Maivy nodded. "That Unicorn Spell they placed over the shack may prevent you or your minions from attacking it but us monsters were able to slip by it no problem. The Monsters have the rift and are delivering it to you as we speak."
"Good." Bill smiled. "Make sure to keep it out of sight in case Sixer manages to break out. I wouldn't want him taking away my failsafe before using it. And even if the others find it instead, they outside him and Pine Tree don't know what it is, so they'll just make the mistake of leaving it be until it's too late. Now, next time they make their move; kill them. But bring Shooting Star to me, I want her piece of the Great Diamond."
"Understood/You Betcha!" His lieutenants nodded before Nítho walked out of the room and Maivy sank into the ground like a shadow.
Once they were gone Bill gave off another smirk.
"Now that I know where at least one of the pieces is all I have to do is escalate things so that the other pieces will have to choose their bearers. And then all four of them will be mine! MINE!"
He gave off a maniacal laughter.
