I am back for a new chapter. Sorry I have been flaky. I have been working on side projects and trying to keep myself focused on the task at hand and other things going on in my life.

Chapter 17
Kakashi stood there in a state of shock at hearing that his old teammate was still alive and was the reason why their sensei had died. The reason why Naruto had lost her mother as well. This was something he needed to think about. Something to figure out. His hand shoots out and grabs Sasuke by the collar as the raven hairs Uchiha from attacking his female teammate and stopping his death from her two cousins and Uncle for they would rip him to shreds and not give a damn about it.
"Sasuke, you need to cool off. Naruto isn't the one to blame. She has gone through more hell than you have growing up. As you were seen as a prince. She was seen worse than trash." Said Kakashi as his voice went from distance to scary serious.
Low guttural growls come from Naru's two cousins. As they are ready to kill the little bastard where he stands. "Try anything and we will end you. Your Civilian Council and Elders will be damn." Growls out Hutty as Skoll snarls, licking his chops ready to sink his teeth into the little duck asses throat.
A chill ran down Sasuke's and even Kakashi's spins. As they both know deep down that those two standing protectively before the blonde would carry out their promise. With that Kakashi gives everyone an eye smile. "Well, I shall be taking Sasuke back inside. For we have a few things to discuss." He tells everyone as he pulls said boy away. For once in his life he listens to his sensei and leaves without making one of his shitty comments. Just huffing, turning away from them. Feeling even with his sensei by his side he didn't feel safe whatsoever.
Forest Surround the Land of Waves
Naruto's shadow clones fan out checking out all the bandit camps, brothels, and any hideouts they find. Only stepping in when needed and spiriting the prisoners and slaves away from the scum.
"Sweetie. We are going to get you somewhere safe." Said one of the shadow clones to a little girl with snow white hair.
"T..Th..thank you." Said the little girl between sobs.
"Take her to the boss." Said the clone that holds the little girl as another one comes up to her and takes the child into her arms and vanishes in lightning.
"We need to move on out. They are all dead. We do not need to worry about this scum. All the people are free." Said the clone as the others nod their heads in agreement as they take off running.
Leaving a burnt down bandit camp with charcoal remains scattered around the area. With deers coming out of the woods to investigate what had happened to the humans that had been in their forest.
Thirty shadow clones surround Gato's compound. Each of them looking for a weak point as well as see how many thugs are located within and without the compound walls.
One clone holds binoculars. "It appears there are about 15 surrounding the outside walls. There are about 20 of them walking on the walls between the guard posts. As well as another 20 within the walls. But…..It appears they might be drunk." Said the clone as she looked over at the clone sitting next to her.
"Well we have the others coming to our location. We could each take out a thug each and replace them. To the point that the little fucker will never know. Whoever is doesn't have a spot. Needs to return back to the boss and the others informing them what we are planning. As it wouldn't do us any good for one of us to go up in smoke as one of the others reported she has fainted. Reasons at the moment are unknown." Said the lead clone to the one sitting next to her.
"Boss might have been drawn into her mind to speak with Kurama-sama." Offered the other clone to the lead clone.
"Who knows. We will find out soon." Said the lead clone with a smirk as she spun on her heel and motions the other to follow her to a clearing not too far from the compound. For she has to let them know of her plan and get everything set up for their boss. As the girl didn't need more stress on her shoulders. As she already has too much going on for her at the moment.
Gato's Office
Spread out before the little troll of a man is files. Files that could mean doom for a blonde that is on this very island at the moment. He smirks. "She would be a beautiful jewel to add to my collection." He snickers to himself.
He drools looking at the photo of the girl now resting in his dirty paws. "Yes, she will make an excellent bride for myself or my son." He said, chuckling once more.
"Who the hell am I kidding. That little bastard couldn't handle a woman like her. She is only meant for someone like myself." Chuckles Gato with lust in his voice.
A knock is heard at his office doors. Panicking he gathers all the files on the blonde hair girl and opens one of the draws in his desk. "Come in." He grumply calls out as he cleans off the corners of his mouth to cover up his lustful drool.
Two men came into the office. "What do you two want?" He growls out at a man with raven hair with golden eyes and another with silver hair wearing glasses.
"Oh my dear friend Gato." Hisses the raven hair man. "We have only come to pay you a visit." He tells the little troll.
"Bullshit." Spits out Gato with an ugly smirk on his face. "Only time you come to visit me is when you want something." He tells the man sitting across from him.
Sitting down across from the troll he smirks at him. "Well what could I say? You said you had some promising test subjects for me." He said with a slight hiss in his voice.
Yes, yes. I have a ship with your cargo held deep within it. All you need to do is to tell the Captain to ship it where you wish this time around." Said Gato with a dismissive wave.
"Good. Good." Said the man as his golden eyes noticed something on the desk. "Who's the lovely girl in that photo?" He questions as he wanted to know. Even though he already knows. He wants to play with his prey.
Looking down on his desk he spots the photo of his future bride. "No one. Don't worry about the girl." He said as he quickly took the photo and slid it into the inner pocket of his suit jacket.
The man chuckles at the man. "Don't worry. I know she is the Princess of the Hidden Leaf. I would be careful before you have her handlers coming after you." He tells him with a smirk on his face as he raises to his feet. "Well I must take my leave." He said with a smirk and turned leaving the office with his little pet following alongside him.
In the clearing
If only they had waited a couple of seconds they would have seen the unexpected visitor that had just been in Gato's office.
"So does everyone know the plan?" Questions the Lead shadow clone.
"YEAH!" The other shadow clones cheer as one.
The lead clone smacks her face. "We need to work on not being so loud." She told them.
They at least had the decency to look sheepish at their antics.
With Naruto and the others
Naru slowly opens her eyes as she can feel a fuzzy tail smacking her side. "Hey Akamaru." She softly said as she ran her fingers through his fur.
A happy yip comes from the puppy. This catches the others' attention to her now being awake.
"Naru, are you okay?" Questions Skoll as he leans down close to her as Hutty comes to her with a water bottle in his hand. Handing it over to her.
"Y…yeah. I'm alright." Said Naru with a smile on her face as she sits up and takes a drink of water from the bottle.
"What made you pass out?" Questions Ino as she wanted to know what was going on.
With a sheepish smile on her face she giggles. "Well I had an overload from a few dozen spies going up at once and I had to take some time to go through the memories to understand what they had found out. I am still a little fuzzy on a few things. So I will tell you all that I know once I understand what I have received." She tells them with a soft sheepish smile.
"Sounds good." Said Ino as she settles down next to Naru.
