Chapter 18
Naruto sits on the dock during her night duty as Ino, Shikamaru, and Chijo. She smiles up at the three coming towards her. "Hey Naru." Ino calls to the blonde as she spotted the girl sitting at the edge of the dock as a shadow clone stood upon the lake before her. As it held a spinning ball of lightning within her hand.
"Troublesome blondes. Naruto, what's your plan?" Shikamaru questions her as his black pool's gaze down into her sparkling crystal blue eyes.
Smiling at him. "Well, I will be honest with you three….I don't want to drag anyone into this. For it will be bloody and messy." I tell him honestly with a slight frown upon my face.
Frowning down upon me he lets out a long suffering sigh. "Listen Naruto. I know I have Hutty and Skoll with you. But, you need the help of your friends. That is what it means to be a team and friends." He tells me as he sits down next to me.
"I do understand. I have seen what happens as well as been in the middle of a battle on my own. Where I could have lost my life. Only making it out of battle by the skin of my teeth." Naruto tells him as I smile at him sadly as I truly did understand.
Ino leans against her in a sideways hug. "Don't worry. We know you have done things when you were away. We also know that you had a life that was full of shit…well until you met your Grandpa and Uncle." She told me with a smile. "So, just understand. We might be clan heirs. But, our father's made sure we are stronger than an average Genin." Ino adds giggling now.
Naruto smiles over at Ino. "Thanks, Honestly I needed to hear that. As we need to kill about 50 to 100 thugs that walk the grounds of Gato's little makeshift palace." I tell them as I look each and everyone one of them dead in the eyes.
Shikamaru lets out a long and tired sigh. "Troublesome girl. I knew this wasn't going to be easy. But we are with you." He tells her with another smirk.
"I don't want to drag the others into this as they will not be able to handle what's to come and I don't want Kiba getting hurt." Naruto tells them as she frowns.
"We understand." Choji tells her between bites of his chips as he smiles at her
I look up at him with a soft smile. "Oh Chijo my sweet Choji." I begin with a smile.
Never change." I add.
Choji just smiles at me. Giving a thumbs up.
"I need you three to gather in close. So no one hears us." Naruto tells them as they begin to whisper.
Gato's little hideout Palace
Gato sits behind his desk as he counts money that is settled upon his desk. As the safe in his wall is open. "5,032, 5,033…" He counts with a grin on his face.
Outside the walls of Gato's little Palace
Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji along with Hutty and Skoll hide crouched within the tree tops watching the thug turn guards move around within and without the stone walls and large courtyard.
"This might be a little harder than what my shadow clones told me." Naruto speaks up as she bites her thumb nail. Cursing at how the little bastard had doubled his guards since two days again.
"He really must be scared about Zabuza turning on him or something." Ino chimes in.
"It appears to be the case." Shikakamaru adds his two cents in.
"Then we shall wait until nightfall." Hutty speaks up with a grin upon his face.
"He is right. For we have set up several crates within the walls with booze and those thugs will think it was a gift from that little bastard." Skoll adds to what his brother began to say.
I blink looking towards them. "That might work. As well Gato will not know what is happening as those fools are already setting up their nightly boundfires." I tell them as I am now grinning.
