I needed a break from my fanfic, 'Fangirl' so I started this. This has been ongoing for two years now and all the mistakes on it just hurt. It might seem that I'm insulting canon and other pairings, but I'm talking about my feelings toward canon pairs and other pairings. I'll be referring 'fan fiction' to 'doujin' since this story takes place in Japan.

Staring into the moon-lit sky was a beautiful woman, slender, had long flowing blonde with silver streaks hair and emerald color eyes. This woman usually wears a white dress with a diamond badge on it, black and white leggings, and boots of the same color, with green soles. Her boots have a medium-height yellow heel to them. Currently, she has on a string-strap, sleeveless white nightgown, the hem of the gown falls knee-length, showing her bare legs. Her sandals kept her bare feet from getting hurt from the rough terrain.

"L-Lusamine?"

I turn around and saw a black hair kid. I called out his name, "S-Satoshi-kun [1]?"

Why am I getting nervous now? I can feel my heartbeat going fast. I can feel the warmth spreading toward every part of my body. An itch and warmth in my underside region that I have not felt since my husband disappeared.

I walked toward him to get closer.

Unlogical, this is not logical and should not have happened. Why him of all the people? The friend of my youngest daughter Lily and the rival of my eldest Gladion. Yet, I have a lust for this child.

Wait! The neurotoxins. I was fused with a Pokemon. If I remember right, there was a theory that Pokemon will respect and obey you when you meet a certain qualification [2].

I lean into Satoshi-kun.

My face got closer to him.

Guh!

"What is the matter, Hachiman?" I ask my lover as he turns off his phone.

"Y-Yukinoshita?" He replied.

I was standing next to him, looking over his shoulder. I was reading the text that was on his phone. I didn't understand most of the text. I know about Pokemon since it is a big franchise that reaches around the world, and that my boyfriend still a fan of it. And that the passage describes a beautiful woman.

"I don't want to talk about it. Sorry, I'll talk." Said Hikigaya-kun.

Well, it is not a surprise that he did a 180 after all it is a trait of his to talk about his passion.

"You know about canon and ships?" Asked Hikigaya-kun

I nodded yes, this is a topic I never thought I'll learn about. If I remember right, the term 'ships' is used as pairings of characters in a work of fiction as a romantic relationship. And 'canon' is referred to as a true collection of statements found in the work that is used as evidence of shipping.

"Then I'll use the classic literature for an example of why I find this story hard to read." Explain Hikigaya-kun.

I nodded for him to continue.

"You are familiar with the work of Romeo and Juliet? Then the ship between Romeo and Juliet. That they are a romantic couple. And throughout the work, it shows strong evidence that those two are canon." Said Hikigaya-kun.

I agree with that statement after all they fell in love and die together.

"There are doujinshi writers or in the west, I believe they are called fan fiction writers that write about their favorite media work. Now, let say that they're doujin of Romeo and Juliet. They follow the 'what if' pattern. You as a fan might read them. But you are also a huge fan of the canon of Romeo and Juliet. There are doujin writers that work on a different relationship than your main pairing. You as a loyal reader will be carious about them. You read them but a dilemma occurred. At the juiciest part or in most cases the cringer part. You are either tempted to continue reading or you stop and drop it [3]." Explain Hikigaya-kun.

It is a possibility but I have no experience with that otaku culture. The most I got into it was Pokemon since Hikigaya-kun, let me pet his cat Pokemon.

"The anime series of Pokemon has Lusamine searching for her husband with her kids so it is a canon for me and I just can't accept this pairing[4]! Fine! I might be frustrated that there is a lack of doujin writers for 'Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei'. I know it is popular to ship the MC with his sister but I want the pairing of the MC and Erika. I mean come on she is a brocon too and she is not related to the MC, so it win-win for everyone." Cried out Hikigaya-kun.

I have no idea what he is talking about. But he is cute when he talks about his hobbies.

[3] This is so true for me. I am a fan of HachimanXYukino but there so many great writers on here. That can tempt me to support other ships. Then there a few that just make it a bit cringy and well I drop it altogether. Also the part of 'Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei' is true. I want Tatsuya and Erika fanfic of their love for each other. I'm tired of the Tatsuya and Miyuki pairing and the pairing of Tatsuya and Mayumi.

[4] I know Oregairu timeline does not fit with the Pokémon time frame but I don't care.

I want to thank you guys since it is my anniversary writing fanfic. I grew a bit, I still think I'm a terrible writer but I have people that enjoy my fanfic. I'll continue writing for them.

Well, I hope you like this short story. Since I am a fan of many fanfic writers on here. They are way better than me and I hope the best for them. Now I'll go back to that damn story of 'Fangirl' I'm writing. Two years working on it and all the grammar and spelling mistakes just hurt my heart.
