While on an intergalactic vacation,Captain Olimar crashes on an uncharted planet when his ship is hit by an Asteroid. While here, The Planet's oxygen is too poisonous to his species. He must find the 30 missing parts that has been break off from his ship with the help from the creatures called Pikmin.
Olimar & the Pikmin begun facing the hostiles to retrieve the parts. He manage to get all of those missing parts. Although, They are 29 of them,There's still one more left. They encountered an Emperor Bulblax. The Pikmin rode the Bulborbs to attack the Emperor,allowing Olimar to retrieve the part. They led the Emperor to the quicksand where he sunk.
Olimar had the ship repaired & head home. Half the Pikmin are welcome to follow while the other half stays to defend. By the time they arrived, Olimar is reunited with his family.
Mid-Credits: The Pikmin are relaxing on the ship where Olimar bring them food. Suddenly,They felt a strange earthquake. Then,a bright light shines them & they ended up in an unknown area.
