The two Goddesses ruled Angel Land. Palutena,Goddess of Light,bestowed the people with light to make them happy,But Medusa,Goddess of Darkness,has hated humans,dried up their crops,& turned them to stone. Enraged by this,Palutena transformed Medusa into a monster & banished her to the Underworld.
A Young Angel named Pit begun reading the history of two Goddesses. As the Light of Celebration begins,Medusa's Army infiltrates the Land. Palutena entrusts Pit with a magical bow & tells him to find three treasures before she gets captured.
Pit begun to make a wonderful journey to retrieve the treasures. He managed to defeat 3 Gatekeepers at their respective fortresses in the Underworld,the Overworld,& the Skyworld. Pit finally equips the Mirror Shield,the Arrow of Light,& the Wings of Pegasus and storms the Sky temple.
He battles against Medusa & decapitates her with his dual sword. Palutena & the angels are finally free & congratulates Pit.
