I DON'T OWN ANYTHING
Well I gave a preview in last chapter so here I would like to thank imaginair to review on last chapter...I will try my best in this so thanks to saying it...now enjoy
Touya's pov
In the morning I woked up because of a call from a certain someone "hello professor Juniper, care explain why you called me this much early in the morning,you know it's still 6 am in the morning and touko is still sleeping ".
"Are you done...so let me say you this,there is a friend of mine who needs your help in her research, she is researching on pokemon trainers and their dreams"
"Hey!you know it sounds interesting but what kind of help do I have to do,because...you know I have a battle in the gym this afternoon and I don't want to miss it and it has been roughly two days since the incident with touko,so I have to take care of her"
"I was coming to that point only but you stopped me,so now let me continue " she cleared her throat and continued "so you just have to go to block no.004 and there you'll meet her,and as for time it will take less then an hour, I already asked her about it so don't worry" saying this much she hunged up the call.
"Explain everything to us" I said with a sigh and looked over at touko, sleeping soundly after around two days she slept without waking up at midnight.
I washed my face,took a bath and got ready for the job I was given by professor. I left a note,and went out,explained nurse joy where I am going and told her to give a little attention to touko.
It took me about thirty minutes to reach at location,outside near the door a woman wearing a lab coat was standing. She turned to me and walked towards me "are you touya " "uh,yes" "great, I am fennel, professor Juniper might have told you about me and my research, right " I nodded.
"Then let's go inside and talk, my room is upstairs ". Well to be honest I don't even require to walk upstairs, she literally dragged me upstairs.
Her room was a half mess but half maintained, "so you have to help me by finding this pokemon we call as munna,munna is a pokemon who eats people's dreams, and as you know about my research I need it but I already have so much work that I can't go outside "
"Okay, I will find it for you but where?" "oh,you'll find it in dreamyard which is in the east,so thank you".
It took me a while but I reached there, but there were also some unexpected guests.
"Come on,give us the dream mist" a female plasma grunt said to the pink pokemon with purple flower pattern, "it won't listen" the other male grunt said to his partner and the kicked munna. "Hey! you team plasma punks,you can't kick a pokemon " they both turned to look at me.
"What the hell did you just called us" female grunt said "you got some nerve to say that, eh" the male grunt said 'are they twins or is it custom to continue each other's sentences in their team' "whatever,I think we should teach you something, right" female grunt said.
"Say it directly you want to try and defeat me you older sister " she glared at me "what did you just called me" "oh,right sorry to call you that...you aunty" she scowled and said "you are better prepared to regret over what you said just now " she threw her pokeball and a purple cat pokemon with green eyes came out.
"I choose you, lillipup"
"Purrloin,scratch " her purrloin's one arm glowed in white light and she charged towards lillipup "lillipup dodge and use retaliate" lillipup rushed forward to give her a powerful tackle.
"Dodge,and then use fury swipes"
I let her come near lillipup and then ordered him "now,lillipup dodge a little and use bite on her nape" lillipup used it and he successfully weakened her enough that one last powerful move could defeat her.
The female grunt gritted her teeth "purrloin use scratch " "now lillipup dodge high and use retaliate" it was a KO for her purrloin.
"Tch,now you defeat him" she said to her partner and I was ready to send oshawott.
"Now,you two do you think you are capable of doing that" an unfamiliar voice said and I looked at my left,there stood a old man with pale green hair and one red eye,his other eye was covered by an eyepatch "l...lord Ghetsis " the grunts stuttered and said in unison.
"You two return back to HQ " he said but this time from right side, it caught me off guard for a second there but I noticed that there was a pink color fog was there. 'Is it what they call it as...,dream mist?'
The grunts mumbled something between them and ran away. From other side fennel came "thanks to you that I got this dream mist touya " she said with joy in her tone.
Munna came to me and gently tapped my arm "do you want to come with me?" if touko was able to come here she would have translated it for me,but when the munna nodded I thought my guess was right. I tapped a pokeball on its head and caught it.
Suddenly there was a light blue glow coming from where lillipup was standing and when I turned to check he got evolved. "Hey,did you just" I said and hugged him tightly "you did it lilli-..oh I mean herdier" it barked in joy along with me.
"Good for you two,now touya you have gym battle right, all the best " I nodded "thanks".
Striaton city gym 'okay,here I go' I had already read the booklet on gyms all around unova 'thanks to cheren for this' "welcome sir,may I take your order please" a red haired man asked me "a special full course meal" his welcoming aura changed into one of the challenging one "so you are the one,eh" "yes, and my starter is oshawott ".
"That means you will be against me" an another man said, when I looked at him he was wearing similar outfit and his hair and eyes were green,next to him was also in similar outfit but his one eye was covered with his blue hair and other blue eye was visible. "So let's go" cilan said 'well in the booklet they have given their names, the red haired one is chili,green haired one is cilan and last blue haired one is cress'.
We went to the battlefield and stand on our respective positions "so I am striaton city gym leader cilan,a grass type pokemon user" "I am touya fujiwara,from castelia city,a pokemon trainer and this is my first gym battle". "I hope it'll be fun to battle you touya" chili said who has taken the role of refree "now,BEGIN".
"Go,lillipup" cilan called out his pokemon
"Go,herdier"
"use bite lillipup"
"Dodge and use tackle" herdier easily dodged but his lillipup was fast enough to grab him by his tail. "Herdier, use bite on him" (a.n this might normally kill that lillipup,...but game and anime logic).
"Lillipup, leave his tail" "herdier use tackle" I was lucky this time to give his lillipup a damage but it was not enough to beat him. "Lillipup use work up" it's body was surrounded by red aura 'he is increasing his attack powers' "herdier you too use work up" now herdier's body got surrounded by red aura "herdier use tackle" "lillipup use bite" herdier ran too fast this time and protected itself from lillipup's attack and launched the attack on him successfully.
This time it did some major damage to him but he was not yet knocked down "lillipup use bite" "herdier work up".
Lillipup's attack hit herdier but herdier didn't flinch, he was standing as it is 'great,now you lillipup keep attacking him' I gave herdier a little nod when he looked at me.
"Lillipup use bite" he used but again herdier was standing straight without flinching a inch. "Lillipup use bite again" "yes" I whispered it to myself "herdier" and he knew what he have to do because of training we have done again and again herdier knows very well what to do.
Herdier used tackle or perhaps his last tackle to knock him down. "Lillipup is unable to battle" chili declared "that was a smart move,but very common don't you think though I myself forgot about it and ignored it" cilan said calling lillipup back to his pokeball "now go,pansage" a green monkey like pokemon came out "herdier use tackle" "dodge pansage" he dodged it though I expected it to fail.
"Pansage, bullet seed" pansage threw seeds from his mouth "herdier dodge" few hit him,and that few also gave him a major damage. "Herdier!" I looked at him anxiously, he looked back and gave me a small nod. "Now,use vine whip pansage" "herdier dodge" he was about to do it but his leg was injured.
Vine wipe hit him "herdier use work up" he kept using it "pansage, use solar beam" he was gathering solar energy from the sun above the roof 'damn,that's the reason they have kept it open' "herdier use tackle" it was difficult for him but he managed to at least move, it was not effective but the solar beam was powerful enough to knock herdier down "herdier is unable to battle" "go,oshawott" oshawott came out.
"Pansage use,vine whip" "oshawott dodge and use tackle" oshawott somehow managed to give him some more damage "pansage use work up" "oshawott use razor shell" oshawott removed his scalchop and instead of attacking pansage he used it on the ground, the crack was created on the ground and the ground became uneven. I saw the confused look on gym leader's face but he quickly regained his composure.
"Pansage use vine whip "oshawott use water gun" it didn't did any damage to either side "pansage,solar beam" his pansage again started gathering solar energy, 'this is our chance' "oshawott use aqua jet" before pansage could use solar beam he was hit by aqua jet. It was powerful enough to throw him towards the wall behind him.
"Now use water gun before he could stand up" it was successful because it caused a major damage "it was well and good, but you know you still have type disadvantage" cilan said with a smirk on his face "bullet seed" "oshawott do-..." I forgot that using this technique oshawott needs some time to gain his energy.
It did hit oshawott but thankfully he could still battle. "Pansage vine whip" "oshawott use razor shell" oshawott defended itself very well this time though "now use aqua jet and razor shell" I saw a stunned look on three bothers' face. "Pansage use vine whip."
Oshawott used the attack I ordered and with the help of rocks scattered around he defended itself 'we have trained for this,in this technique oshawott will spin and with razor shell and use aqua jet, and he could even move and hide now,great' .
Without any problems oshawott knocked down pansage but he also got knocked out "oshawott and pansage both are unable to battle, means this is..." "I still have one more pokemon that I caught today" I interrupted and said because when I registered I had only two pokemons "is it,means you have three,that means the winner is challenger touya" chili said.
"I really enjoyed this battle, and take this your gym badge" he gave me the trio badge. I thanked them and left that gym.
When I reached at pokemon center I saw a familiar car standing near. I quickly went inside and gave my pokemons to nurse joy and went upstairs and opened the door of our room.
"Hello,touya,you know you should knock and come" dad said, "you look tired" "dad!" I quickly hugged him "today I won the gym badge" "really, congrats touya" touko said,she was sitting on the bed brushing zorua. "Thanks" I replied "but it's unfair you didn't even asked me to come,just left a note told nurse joy to take care of me like I am a child" "you are" dad replied "well touya I heard everything from akane" (their mother's name, refer ch 1) I looked down, disappointed that I failed to protect her "dad that..."
"I am taking her" he said and I looked at him in shock. "But dad-..." "touya we will talk outside" "dad it's okay to talk about my health issues in front of me,...I am used to" touko said in sad tone,it always bothered me to see her like that because everyone in that little town and in our school used to say it to her that she have few days to live "touya I am just saying this because I am worried about her health and you know there are still dangers that could occur in front of you so it's not necessary that you could protect her."
"Touya" touko was the one who spoke up this time,"I know you promised me that you'll protect me but personally I want to become strong, much much strong to defeat anyone without over exerting myself,don't you want to see me stronger" "it's...not like that,but-..." "touya" she came to me and held my hands in her soft palms "believe me,when you will come to castelia you'll see a different touko, a stronger version of myself" unknowingly tears started forming in my eyes and I hugged her "okay...I believe in you and remember at that time I'll also battle you."
"Goodbye,touya take care" she said and waved "you too" they both left at evening and though I was sad I was hopeful that our battle would be memorable...
But I never knew the impending threats on my family...
It was a kind of...uh huge chapter though...I myself never thought it will go beyond 1K words...promise next chapter will not be like this...next is on touko...well I kind of changed the game sequence but it was because of several reasons I did like that for example if touya had two pokemons it would have became a tie but I didn't wanted that hence the story...now...enjoy
