Touko's pov
"Dad, you called ?" I asked him as soon as I reached at his office. Today, out of blue dad messaged me in the morning to come and meet him, and since then I am curious about what might be the case. "You came on time" he said and asked to sit in front of him. "Touko, take this" my eyes widened in shock, I didn't know how to react after seeing the thing that dad was giving me.
"Dad...this,...this is!" the words weren't coming out of my mouth "a trainer card, I prepared another one for you" I looked at him then at card and then again towards him, "did touya...agreed?" I asked nervously "no,he don't know" "huh?" "look, touko...the challenges that are about to come are far beyond Touya's capacity to handle..." he paused and then continued "this challenge is not simple and for that you need-..you must help him" he said in very serious tone.
"I have even arranged a person to train you" he said and turned towards the door, "you may come in" he said and a man likely in his twenties came inside. He was slender, with black pointy hair and light blue eyes. His clothing was like a gentleman from a noble family which includes black suit with red outlines and yellow scarf. 'I think, I have saw him before ' I thought. He bowed and greeted us "good morning, zen,long time no see" " you haven't changed a bit,have you?" dad turned to look at me and said "he is Grimsley " that's why I thought that I had saw him.
Grimsley, one of the elite four member, who specializes in dark type pokemons and he is even the master of gambling. It is said that if he enters the game then it is over. "I believe you know me, that's why you are staring " he said, and I just realized that I was staring at him for a whole minute or two. "Oh, my apologies " he waved his hand and said " no need to be so formal, your dad and I are friends since very long time ".
"I am touko fujiwara, it's nice to meet you " I greeted, "well, I didn't knew that zen was hiding such a beauty" he hold my hand and planted a small kiss on it, "huh!?" " Grimsley, at least don't flirt with her in front of me, plus she is underage" dad said, "oops, I can't resist myself " "stop it!". Their debate went on for few minutes and then dad returned on the topic.
"So, touko, he will train you from now on" "well, let's start from today onwards, are you ready touko " "yes" I said confidently. "Touko, just remember, don't tell touya about your training or about your trainer card " I nodded. "So,today we will train at castelia park".
Bianca's pov
I reached at castelia but my pokemons weren't with me, 'what should I do ?' I rubbed my hands and I saw few team plasma running inside the castelia sewers. 'Do they have my pokemons?' I don't know what should I do yet I followed them.
"It's dark" I mumbled but still it felt like I said it out loud. I looked here and there but didn't saw any grunts. I finally found a cave, from where light was coming. I ran towards it and found a man with long black robes, "you finally came " his voice was robotic, "what do you-" a beheeyem appeared and suddenly I felt dizzy and everything started to get blurry.
Touko's pov
We reached at castelia park, though to reach there we needed to get through sewers. "So, you have two dark type pokemons, right" I turned to Grimsley in astonishment "how do you know?" "I am dark type pokemon user after all,so I could sense it" I nodded and called out my three pokemons. He rubbed his chin and said " you have an eevee too" "yes, I got it when she was in an egg form".
" So, let's start,shall we?" he turned and pointed in the grass, "let's go with the basic training, first you will train with wild pokemons, is it okay with you" I nodded. "Zorua, let's go!" 'you are looking excited, well it's not like I am complaining ' I just stopped myself from answering her back and just went forward inside the patch of grass.
A wild audino appeared, "zorua, use night slash " zorua charged forward to hit it but it dodged the attack 'you should tell before attacking ' she complained "okay" 'huh,you can hear me!?' " yes,zorua use pursuit " this time it hit her and she tried using one of her moves.
"Zorua dodge! and then use dark pulse on the ground near her" she looked confused but zorua followed the orders and used it then,when there was dust cloud, we took advantage " now zorua use night slash " the last attack wasn't clearly visible but in the end, zorua took the victory.
"So, you can also talk with pokemons " Grimsley said and gave a small applause. In the excitement I forgot that Grimsley was here too. "Don't worry, I know your family's little secret" he said and I sighed in relief.
After that we trained a lot, for most of the part it was fun but after continuously listening to their cries of pain, I felt bad. "I think we shouldn't have trained for this long, you seem exhausted " Grimsley said while we were heading towards our mansion. It was already dusk, yet because of the tall skyscrapers, it felt like it is dark. Street lamps were the only source of light for us. The streets were full of people who were going home from work, trainers going to pokemon center etc.
When we reached at the front door, I saw a familiar figure, standing there,if not for the light coming from the street light near the door, I wouldn't have recognized her. "Bianca, what are you-" without having a time to complete my sentence, without even giving a time to react, suddenly it felt like a sharp object touched my skin and I felt a burning sensation. Grimsley was holding her down and it seemed as he was dialing a number while struggling to hold her down.
I felt the warm liquid on my skin. And I just fell down, while the world around me was just fading.
Touya's pov
"So, our next gym will be in virbank city" I said, and turned the page of the guide. There is time for me to get ready for training but still, I am excited for my next badge. "Dewott, are you excited?" he nodded. I kept the book and turned on the TV.
While scrolling the channels I came across a news channel which showed my house and the crowd in front of it, and the headline was 'an assassination attempt on the daughter of Zen Fujiwara' I read it again and again until I realized that it is true. I took my xtransceiver and called dad.
He took time to pick it up but once he did, I saw he was panicked and stressed. "Touya, if you have called me at this time I assume-" "yes, I saw the news...who was the assassin? are they caught?" he didn't replied quickly, he looked here and there and then said ,"actually, her teammates helped her to run away " 'so she was a female' ,"um,...and as for her name..." he paused and then continued " she was...Bianca ".
"Who?" "Bianca...your friend...she, she did it with the help of team plasma..." I should have figured it out. "Dad, I'll call you later, bye" I dialed cheren's number, "hello" "cheren, you saw the news" "yeah, I was in pokemon center and I saw what happened and-" "Bianca did that" "huh!?" "Bianca is the culprit" he was shocked and stopped on the spot.
"How do you-" "dad told me, he also said that she is working with team plasma " "no, this- how...it..., see Touya, I am coming to you...just don't do anything reckless until I reach there, okay" he said and hanged up the call. I looked out, 'how the heck do you expect me to keep quite, now for me,bianca is someone whom I can't forgive'.
Well, so don't worry I won't be rushing to complete this story, as it might look like in this chapter but I will make sure to explain in next chapter...until then, enjoy.
