Disclaimer: I do not own anything involved with this story, only how the story goes. The Dinosaurs of Jurassic World belongs to Universal. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

A/N: I thought that it would be nice if I did this for a very special lady.

The Old Woman with a Dino Croc on her Lap

The day was pretty clear over a lake in Maine. The waters were very calm next to an old farm. Sitting on a swing not too far from the farmhouse was a kindly old woman. Her white hair curled in an adorable way and she was wearing a white dress. The woman let out a sigh of content as she laid her head back on the swing.

The waters near the farmhouse started to get a little choppy was something stirred beneath the surface. A pretty large crocodilian creature known as the Deinosuchus steadily rose from the depths of the lake. The large crocodile turned itself towards the house and swam for the shore. The woman sitting in the swing didn't seem to notice the large reptile making its way through the water.

The Deinosuchus made it to the shore without any opposition and pulled itself out of the water. He walked from the lake and towards the open gate. When it reached the gate, the Deinosuchus' eyes looked about before spotting the woman on the swing. Turning his body, the crocodilian made his way towards the unsuspecting woman. Inch by inch he came closer, hardly making a sound. When he was but a few feet from her, the Deinosuchus raised his head a little. The crocodilian kept coming and the woman still didn't notice. The Deinosuchus opened his mouth as if he were about to take a bite out of her.

But he just seemed really happy to see her when he gently placed his head on her lap. The touch from the crocodilian made the woman open her eyes and she looked to see what was sitting on her lap. The woman smiled when she saw the Deinosuchus staring up at her with its left eye. She gently ran her head along the back of his head and told him, "You're such a good boy, aren't you."

The gently petting seemed to make the Deinosuchus happy, evident by the wagging of his long, scaley tail.

Author's Note: This was actually the second short story that I had planned to do. After hearing about Betty White's passing, I really wanted to this to honor her memory. Plus, it's not like she hasn't worked with giant crocs before. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
