A group of people were flying high over the clouds. The Saiyan in the orange Gi, Son Goku, his son in the purple Gi, Son Gohan flew alongside the Namekian in a similar Gi as Son Gohan, Piccolo. They were on their way to meet up with a friend who said she had something to show them.
Vic Mignogna: I'll give you strength and you'll give me love that's how it we'll live (that's how we'll live)
Your courage won't fade, if you're with me my enemies will never win
After a freak accident, Goku wakes up to find himself somewhere entirely new. Soon he is met by a bewildering sight, a boy accompanied by dogs who can talk.

There is nothing we can live through, nothing ever dies, we will rise again!
Goku, Ryder and the Pups all take the time to get to know each other. From having fun like telling stories to responding to emergencies. Goku helps the Pups by catching a falling Alex when he fell out of a tree.

Goku, Ryder and the Pups all stood outside the Lookout and saw that a new kind of trouble was brewing. A large shadowy figure stood ominously over Adventure Bay. But the nine looked to each other with grins before charging into action.
Vic Mignogna: We can't find paradise
All we have to do is go! Go! Free your soul!
Standing in a circle, the pups all unleashed their auras from their Mighty powers. In the center of the circle, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan. Then all eight of them unleashed pillars of their power into the sky.
Vic Mignogna: Dragon Soul!
Soon, Goku, Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rocky, Everest, Rubble, Zuma and Ryder all stood together and posed for a picture with smiles on their faces.

The rest of the day quickly passed for Adventure Bay with the three still cleaning up their mess. Soon night came over the town and the light sounds of nighttime activity filled the air. But for the residents of the Lookout, Goku, Ryder and the Pups all decided to turn in for the night as they were tired after their battle against the three Super Baddies. And since the Pups' vehicles had been ruined during the fight, Ryder thought it best if the Pups stayed within the lounge area. He even let Everest and the twins stay over the night from how worn out they were looking. But a night's rest wasn't sitting well for one resident of the Lookout. On her own sleeping bag, Skye twisted and turned as she dreamed.

Skye's dream…
In her dreamscape, Skye found herself once again on the battlefield against the villains. Flanking her on both sides were all her friends. They all tensed up when the humans and cats came rushing at them. The Copycat gave a cackle as he sent slashes of air from his claws. Skye was about to defend her friends with a wall of air to stop the attack, but her paws suddenly stopped glowing. The Cockapoo fell to the ground and she whimpered a little from the fall. Lifting her head, she glanced back to see her friends all knocked back from the attack. She gasped from seeing their outfits torn up as they got back onto their feet and it looked like a little blood was leaking from their wounds.
Another cackle made her look back to see the Copycat suddenly ignite a familiar red aura. She recognized it as the Kaio-ken and lifted her paw when she shouted, "No, don't do that!"
But it fell on deaf ears as the Copycat made the aura expand and look bigger. But as quick as it was to appear, it disappeared a moment later. The villainous feline gave a pained yell as he fell to the ground and when he landed, Skye saw that his wounds had opened back up and his suit was stained red from the blood that leaked from them. The Copycat weakly turned his head to his comrades and shouted, "Avenge me!"
"Kaio-ken!" Both humans of the Super Baddies shouted and the red aura ignited over them. Even the smaller kittens ignited the same technique. But a moment later, Harold and the Ladybird cried out in pain as the Kaio-ken wrecked their bodies and caused the two to collapse to the ground. Skye gasped from the blood that was leaking from their eyes, noses and mouths. She took a step back before looking at the six kittens. Skye screamed in terror as they all seemingly exploded into bloody messes and let out pained wails as they too dropped to the ground. Quickly turning to her friends she pleaded, "Goku, you need to give them a Healing Root, quick!"
"But we're all out." Goku shook his head and showed her the empty bag. She gasped when she stared into the bowl. Just like in real life, the bowl in her dreams was empty as well. Skye looked back to the bloodied villains and started to breathe heavily when the rivers of blood started coming towards her. One was about to touch her and she screamed in fright because of this.

Out in the waking world, Skye raised her head and breathed heavily from the horrifying nightmare. With a shake of her head she thought that she wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon. Quietly rising to her feet, Skye looked to see all of her friends still asleep. A sigh escaping her, the Cockapoo decided to get some fresh air to clear her head. Carefully making her way through the sleeping Pups, Skye walked over to the elevator. Stepping inside, Skye watched as the doors closed before it lifted her to the top of the Lookout. But as it passed by a certain floor, Goku had stepped out from his room. He saw it rising up and saw Skye standing at the center. She didn't even seem to know that he was there as she was facing away from him. Deciding to see what was up, Goku placed his fingers to his forehead and disappeared with Instant Transmission.
Reappearing in the control center of the Lookout, Goku found the young Pup out on the balcony. Carefully making his way out the door, he heard her sniffling as she gazed up into the sky. Knowing that something was really wrong, Goku softly asked, "Can't sleep, Skye?"
"Huh?" The Cockapoo gasped before glancing back. Wiping her eye with a paw she said, "Oh, Goku. I didn't hear you come up."
"Yeah, I just used Instant Transmission to get up here when I saw you in the elevator." Goku explained as he rubbed the back of his head. Skye's gaze fell and she said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
"Well, it wasn't really you to be honest." Goku admitted when he stepped out onto the balcony to join her. Leaning against the rail, the Saiyan looked up to the stars for a moment. Glancing to her she seemed to be really distracted by something and asked, "Something on your mind there?"
"I just had a bad dream is all." Skye told him, not really feeling like talking about it. Goku felt like trying to get her to open up about it, but decided to respect his friend's privacy. Giving a small nod he said, "Okay. But if you need to talk to someone about it, just let me, Ryder or any of the others know okay.
"It'll do you no good to keep it bottled up inside." He advised her and turned to walk away. But he hadn't taken but three steps inside when she said, "Wait, Goku?"
"Hm?" He asked and looked back to the Cockapoo. Skye bit her lip and seemed a little hesitant at first before asking, "Would it be okay if I were to sleep in your bed tonight?" She gave a slight shake of her head, "I know that it sounds a little odd, but…"
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Goku thought. Then gesturing for her to follow he said, "Come on, let's hit the hay."
"Thanks." Skye said with a small grin. She quickly followed him to the elevator and they both stepped in. The elevator lowered itself to the floor where Goku's room was and both Saiyan and Pup were greatly surprised to find Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Zuma, Rubble, Everest, Ella and Tuck all waiting for them. Goku was the first to step out and asked, "Uh, hey, guys. What's up?"
"Turns out that last bit of the battle was a tad traumatic for us." Chase started with a small grin. Zuma lightly rubbed his foot on the ground and said, "And we wewe all kind of hoping-"
"That maybe…" Rubble tried to ask while giving a hopeful toothy grin. Goku gave a grin of his own at what they were asking. With a gesture of his head, "Come on. There might be enough room for all of us." He walked up to the door and said, "I just hope that I don't accidentally knock someone off."
That caused all nine Pups to laugh as they followed him into the room. After entering the bedroom first, Goku laid down and the Pups were all quick to join him. Rubble and Skye laid down with their heads resting against his ankles, Ella and Tuck were at his knees and the others were either pressed up against the twins or Goku. Goku was the first to say, "Night, guys."
"Sleep tight." Marshall followed up with a grin. Chase then nodded, "Sleep tight."
"Have pleasant dweams, dudes." Zuma was next. On the other side, Rocky said, "Night."
"Pleasant dreams." The twins said in unison and they all started laughing. Everest then added, "See you in the morning."
"Dream of bed bugs tonight." Rubble added with a laugh. The others were quick to say, "No!"
But they ended up laughing all the same. After a bit of steady breathing and no one saying a word, all ten friends fell fast asleep.

Goku's Earth…
In Bulma's lab in West City, the girl genius was putting some finishing touches on the portal. After having gotten Rocky's notes and comparing them, it had taken some time to get the new machine ready. The inventor was determined to get her friend back as she tightened another bolt. The doors to the lab opened and Future Trunks walked in. He saw that she was still working on it after his last visit to the lab. After tightening the bolt, Bulma wiped her forehead of the sweat and Future Trunks asked, "Still working on it, Ms. Briefs?"
"Ah!" Bulma yelped and turned back to face the young man. Then she placing a hand over her heart as she panted, "Oh, it's you."
"Sorry. I didn't mean to sneak up on you." Future Trunks lightly chuckled. But Bulma waved it off and said, "No, no. Everything's okay. I'm basically finished setting it up and should have it running in no time."
"Do you think that it can bring Goku back to us from this other world?" The teen of the future asked. The scientist shook her head, "No. The bridge would be too unstable and it needs to be anchored on the other side."
"Meaning that you'll have to send someone over to make the connection with another portal." Future Trunks surmised about what was needed. Bulma nodded and said, "Yeah. Once I power this bad boy up, I'll head across and get to work with this Rocky and see how fast we can set it up."
"Will you be going alone?" He asked the past version of his mother, worried that she might get hurt over there. Bulma thought about it before saying, "It might be best if a small group consisting of myself and a few others go through.
"Just got to find out the right few." Bulma said as she started to think long and hard about it. Then she listed, "Krillin's liable to go. Maybe if I could convince Chi-Chi then Gohan can come too."
"And maybe another fighter, like Piccolo." Future Trunks suggested. Bulma nodded, "Yeah, I suppose that having him tag along wouldn't hurt.
"I'll go and make the calls while I have the computer run the necessary tests." Bulma said and quickly got to work. Future Trunks watched as she moved away before looking back to the portal device.

Master Roshi's House…
It wasn't long when Bulma called Master Roshi's to ask Krillin first. The student of the Turtle Hermit had answered the phone and was currently conversing with her, "Yeah, Bulma, of course I'll tag along to get Goku back.
"But you might have a tough time convincing Chi-Chi to let Gohan." He pointed out. Krillin gave an unsure shrug, "After all, I doubt him standing up to her like he did for Planet Namek will work again.
"Maybe since it's Goku whose in trouble might be enough to get her to agree." He nodded with a grin. Then he asked, "So when do you need me to be ready.
"All right, got it. See you then." Krillin said before hanging up the phone. Master Roshi came back inside and asked, "So, Krillin, what did she say?"
"She says that she's got the portal made and should be running soon. Then she asked if I would tag along when she goes." Krillin told his martial arts teacher. Then he asked, "You think you'll be okay while I'm gone?"
"Oh, sure, sure. I'll be fine." The old man waved off. Then he said, "Me and Oolong were planning to go to the mall and brush up on some fashion and junk."
"Uh huh." Krillin said with a deadpanned look and crossed his arms. Master Roshi looked offended when he pointed to his student and said, "It's true. We were gonna see what all the babes are into."
"There it is." Krillin said before moving around Master Roshi to get started packing. Master Roshi huffed before saying, "The youth today. No respect for their elders."

Goku's House…
Over at the Son residence, Gohan and Chi-Chi were eating dinner when the phone rang. Getting up from her chair, Chi-Chi walked over to the phone and answered it, "Hello.
"Oh, hi, Bulma." She greeted over the phone. Gohan looked over to her just as Bulma said something over the phone. While usually when something set her off, Chi-Chi would get in a bad mood. But she only glanced to her only child as she said, "Well, I'm not sure. I mean, Gohan does need to think of his studies after all. And he's already missed enough schooling when he went into space.
"I know that this is about my Goku." She agreed when Bulma said something about her husband. Chi-Chi lightly bit her thumb nail as she found herself in a tough situation. With a sigh she said, "Give me some time to talk it over with him, okay."
This really surprised Gohan since he knew that his mother hardly ever relented over matters when it came to his studying. Chi-Chi hung up the phone and walked over to the table. Sitting down she said, "Gohan, I know how badly you want to help your father.
"And I really want him to come home too." Chi-Chi said, greatly missing Goku. Gohan then suggested, "What if I took some of my school work with me? That way I'm not really missing out on it and I can help work to bring Dad home."
"Well…" Chi-Chi said as she started to think about it. Gohan then pleaded, "Please, Mom. I know that this is kind of like when we went to Planet Namek, but this time it's really different."
Chi-Chi was still a little unsure as she looked to Gohan. With a sigh she said, "Very well. If you stay focused on your studies while you're over there and stay safe.
"Then I guess that you can go." Chi-Chi said while pulling her son into a hug. Still very surprised by this, Gohan was at least happy to know that he had his mother's consent. And this time he didn't need to stand up for himself he thought with a small grin.

The time that Bulma needed, a total of five days, came and went by. When the time came, Bulma had called just about everyone to her lab. They were all standing before the portal. Everyone, even Vegeta surprisingly, was there to see them off. Krillin, Bulma and Gohan were all dressed and packed for whatever adventures were before them. And even Piccolo stood beside them with his arms cross. The Namekian looked to Bulma and asked, "How soon can we get this show on the road.
"I'd like to be back as soon as possible." He said while Bulma was making some last-minute adjustments to the portal. She looked back to him and said, "I just need to give my dad and our guest here some notes to help them get ready for when we get back."
"M-Me?" Future Trunks asks. Bulma looked to the teen of the future and nodded, "Since you know how to pilot that time machine of yours, this should be simple enough for you as well."
"Hopefully." Future Trunks said, a little nervous. If he and Mr. Briefs didn't get the instruments just right when they were coming back, then his mother, Goku and their friends would be stuck in the other world for much longer than he would like. But Bulma's father walked up and said, "Don't sweat it, my boy. Between the two of us, we'll pull it off."
"You'll just need to give me some time to get the other device ready." Bulma said as she moved to stand with the boys again. When she stood beside Gohan she looked to her father and said, "Hit it, Dad."
"Right." Mr. Briefs nodded and flipped a few switches. A moment later, the portal activated and a blue, circular vortex appeared in the center of the machine. While Piccolo was willing to wait, the others looked back to those they were leaving. Bulma's mother used a cloth as she waved goodbye, "Bye, honey. Do take care."
"Don't worry, Mom." Bulma said with a grin and waved back. Yamcha waved, "Hey, Krillin, take care of yourself over there."
"You too." Krillin nodded with a smirk. Tien looked to Piccolo and said, "We'll be on the lookout on our end."
"Just be sure to keep up with your training. We still need to be prepared." Piccolo advised him. Tien nodded in agreement. Chi-Chi walked up to her son, kneeled down and said, "Remember, Gohan. Make sure that-"
"I keep up with my studies. Got it." Gohan nodded with a smile. Normally, while hearing that would have made Chi-Chi very happy, she pulled her son into a hug and said, "I was going to say stay safe and keep an eye on your dad for me.
"I love you both so much." She added with a slight squeeze. Gohan only smiled again before returning the hug. When they broke their embrace, Chi-Chi took a step back. The four departing all turned back to the portal. They began walking towards it and Oolong said, "Well, not that we want to go, but me and Roshi have some place to be."
"Oh, that's right, Oolong." Master Roshi remembered. He started to follow after the pigman. But as they neared the door, a scientist came barging in and the door smacked into the duo's face. They both cried out as they were sent rolling back.
The commotion caused Bulma, Gohan, Piccolo and Krillin to look back. Gohan and Krillin both cried out when Master Roshi and Oolong smacked into them and all four fell into the portal. All four disappeared through with a bright flash. With a sigh Bulma looked to the Namekian and said, "I don't think that was supposed to happen."
"Ya think?" Piccolo sarcastically questioned before the two rushed after them. The flash repeated itself when the two went through. Mr. Briefs then began the sequence to shut it down so they could prepare for future use.

Adventure Bay…
The dawn was starting to break over the town as Ryder, Goku and the Pups were still peacefully sleeping. The first to rise was Ryder as he emerged from his room. When he came down the elevator, he was surprised to see that none of the Pups were sleeping bags. The boy stepped out and looked around for his beloved friends. His worries were eased when he heard the elevator go off again. Turning around he saw all nine dogs with Goku. They all stretched when they had come out of the elevator. Ryder then asked, "You guys okay?"
"Yeah, just had some rough dreams." Skye told him. Ryder looked to each of them before looking to Goku. A small wave of jealousy passed over the leader of the team. The boy was about to say something when a blue flash came from the outside. A little startled, everyone ran out the door to see what the commotion was. With Goku taking the lead, the rest of the group were right behind him.
Everyone was greatly surprised to see laying in the front lawn were four people. And standing behind them were a green man with antennae in a purple Gi and a woman with blue hair wearing a red outfit. Goku looked between them, "Bulma? Piccolo?"
"Goku!" The one known as Bulma rushed up and wrapped her arms around the Saiyan. The four rose off the ground and one of them, a little boy in a similar Gi to the green man happily said, "Daddy!"
He and short, bald man with a similar Gi ran forward as well. Goku laughed when he said, "Gohan, Krillin!"
"So these are Goku's friends, huh?" Skye asked the others and they nodded. Piccolo walked up to the Saiyan and said with a small grin, "Glad to see that you're doing well."
"Yeah I have, though I can't say that it hasn't been too crazy around here." Goku chuckled. He looked to the last two and said in confusion, "Master Roshi? Oolong?"
"Greetings, my boy." The older man, Master Roshi greeted him as he and the pig man rose onto their feet. Bulma pointe to them and said, "These two are actually stowaways."
"Hey, we didn't ask to get smacked in the face with a door you know." Oolong, who was a pig man that shocked most of the group, said with arms crossed. Gohan looked around his father, noticed the team and asked, "Uh, Dad. Who are they?"
"Hm?" Goku said and looked back. A smile came back on the Saiyan's face when he said, "Guys, I'd like you to meet my friends from the Paw Patrol."
"The what now?" Krillin asked in confusion. Goku rubbed the back of his head, "Man, have I got a lot to tell you guys."
