Chapter Twenty-Three: New Arrivals to Adventure Bay
Narrator: Last time on Pups Help A Saiyan,
After some time working on a way to get to Goku, Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Master Roshi and Oolong now find themselves in Adventure Bay. How will they find the new world of the Paw Patrol? Find out now!

A group of people were flying high over the clouds. The Saiyan in the orange Gi, Son Goku, his son in the purple Gi, Son Gohan flew alongside the Namekian in a similar Gi as Son Gohan, Piccolo. They were on their way to meet up with a friend who said she had something to show them.

After a freak accident, Goku wakes up to find himself somewhere entirely new. Soon he is met by a bewildering sight, a boy accompanied by dogs who can talk.

Goku, Ryder and the Pups all take the time to get to know each other. From having fun like telling stories to responding to emergencies. Goku helps the Pups by catching a falling Alex when he fell out of a tree.

Goku, Ryder and the Pups all stood outside the Lookout and saw that a new kind of trouble was brewing. A large shadowy figure stood ominously over Adventure Bay. But the nine looked to each other with grins before charging into action.
Vic Mignogna: We can't find paradise
All we have to do is go! Go! Free your soul!
Standing in a circle, the pups all unleashed their auras from their Mighty powers. In the center of the circle, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan. Then all eight of them unleashed pillars of their power into the sky.
Vic Mignogna: Dragon Soul!
Soon, Goku, Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rocky, Everest, Rubble, Zuma and Ryder all stood together and posed for a picture with smiles on their faces.

The two sides hadn't moved since Bulma's group arrived just mere moments ago. Humans, Saiyan, Pups, Namekian, Half-saiyan and Pig-man were all looking over the others. Krillin was the first to speak up by asking, "So, what exactly is the Paw Patrol, Goku?"
"Well, these guys are a bunch of rescue dogs that go around and help people in the town over there." Goku told them as he pointed to Adventure Bay. Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Master Roshi and Oolong looked to where he was pointing before turning their heads back to him. Gohan then asked, "Is that why you guys are living in this tower?"
"It's basically our headquarters." Ryder explained. Bulma came up and said, "Well, I think we need some introductions out of the way. I'd like to meet whomever this Rocky is?"
"That would be me." The Mixed-breed Pup spoke up when he came up and raised his paw. That threw everyone who had crossed over for a loop. Oolong pointed to Rocky and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Talking dog!"
"Aw, talking pig man!" Chase shouted back while pointing back at him. With a grin Rubble then joked, "I wonder if he smells like bacon."
That made Oolong whimper in fear as he quickly hid behind Master Roshi. Skye lightly nudged the Bulldog in the side and said, "Rubble. That's one of Goku's friends."
"I wonder which one he is?" Zuma said and pointed to the scared Pig=man when he looked around Roshi. Tuck looked to the Chocolate Lab and asked, "I thought Goku called him one of those names?"
"Yeah, but it was kind of happening really fast." Ella pointed out. Some of the others nodded in agreement. Marshall looked up to the Saiyan and asked, "Think you can help us out here, Goku?"
"No problem, Marshall." Goku nodded with a grin. Pointing to the two he said, "The one hiding behind Master Roshi is Oolong."
"Uh, nice to meet you fellers." Master Roshi nodded to the group. Zuma grinned and pointed with his paw, "Those awe some sweet shades, dude."
"At least someone has some appreciation for eye wear." Master Roshi said when he lowered his glasses and looked between his two pupils. Both Krillin and Goku laughed before the latter said, "Here is my good friend, Krillin…
"Hey there." He waved to the group. Those who didn't know about Krillin tilted their heads as Tuck asked, "Where is his nose?"
"I think he looks cute even without one." Everest said, though Krillin looked a little ticked off about it. Goku then pointed to the only woman in the group, "This here is Bulma."
"Aw, you guys are all adorable." Bulma said as she looked about each and everyone. Rubble's jaw was wide open when he complimented her beauty, "She's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."
"Wow, what are charmer." Bulma giggled. With a gesture to the evil turned good Namekian he said, "This here is my friendly rival Piccolo."
"I wouldn't go that far just yet, Goku." Piccolo commented as he crossed his arms. Skye looked to the last and said, "And this must be Gohan then?"
"Yep, a chip off the old block." Goku said with pride when he walked over to his son and placed a hand on Gohan's shoulder. Gohan lightly blushed to this and turned his head to the ground. Krillin looked to his best friend and asked, "Uh, Goku. I think it's about time that you returned the favor."
"Oh, right." Goku chuckled as he nearly forgot. Pointing to the leader first he said, "This here's Ryder. He comes up with the Pups gadgets and neat doghouses."
"What's so special about a doghouse?" Oolong crossed his arms. Bulma glared at the pig and commented, "Might be a lot more special than a pair of ladies underwear."
"L-L-Ladies Underwear?" Skye, Everest and Ella all asked at the same time as they and those who didn't know of the wish had wide eyes. Bulma hissed as she thought that she took it a step too far, "Uh, don't worry about that."
"Yeah, just keep on going with the introductions. I'm sure it'll circle back around." Oolong shrugged, earning a look from Bulma that told him to shut up. Ryder and the Pups lightly shuddered from the mentioned topic and decided not to ask any more questions about it. Goku then pointed to the German Shepherd pup, "This is Chase, the police pup of the group."
"These paws uphold the laws." Chase said one of his catchphrases when he held up his paws. It earned a few light laughs from Goku's friends and family. Next he introduced, "Marshall here is a bit of a jokester that would get along with King Kai in that department."
"Nice to meet you guys." The Dalmatian waved his paw at them. Moving onto the next Pup he said, "This is Skye. She's pretty good in a helicopter."
"When it's not a total wreck, courtesy of some bad guys." The Cockapoo commented as she thought of all of their vehicles during the fight yesterday. While those of Goku's world were a little confused, they thought they would find out later. The next Pup Goku said, "You've pretty much met Rocky already."
"If you need a Pup to fix something, Rubble and I have your back." The Mixed Breed said while pulling the Bulldog close to him. The Bulldog waved to him and said, "Uh, hi."
"Next up we have Zuma the sea pup." Goku pointed to the Chocolate Lab. Said Chocolate Lab nodded with a grin. Moving onto the next dog he said, "Everest here is mostly visiting from the mountain close by."
"Always happy to help my friends." The Husky said with a sincere smile. Then moving onto the twins he finished, "And I just met Tuck and Ella."
"We sure like going to new places." The male Golden Retriever said with a grin. His sister had the same grin when she added, "And meeting new faces."
"Well, now that we're all acquainted with each other." Bulma said when they finished with the pleasantries. They all looked to her when she said, "We need to start getting us back home."
"She's right. We wasted nearly a month worrying about you, Goku." Piccolo agreed with her. Even Krillin agreed by saying, "Yeah, we're on a serious time crunch."
"We know, we know. The Androids are coming." Ryder nodded and waved his hand in understanding. This surprised Goku's friends as Gohan looked to his father, "You told them?"
"Only from what I really know." Goku said while looking to Piccolo. Understanding that Goku hadn't given everything away, including the parts that may affect Trunks' existence. Rocky then said, "I've been running some simulations with the Lookout's computer."
"And thankfully it wasn't damaged in yesterday's fight either." Ryder added. A surprised Master Roshi then asked, "You've been in fights, my boy?"
"Yeah, it's been crazy while I was here." Goku nodded in agreement. He counted on his fingers, "There was the time with the giant robot, those eagles, that Garlic Jr. guy, a couple of mad scientists, some bank robbers and the villains from yesterday."
"Wait, you guys fought against Garlic Jr?" Piccolo questioned as he, Gohan and Krillin were all surprised by this. Goku nodded and said, "Yeah, apparently there was this temple linked to that place where he had trapped himself, but I don't think we have to worry about him again."
"Yeah, with the temple destroyed, no one's going to be opening the Dead Zone anytime soon." Ryder clarified Goku's story. Oolong then asked, "What about those mad scientists?" He crossed his arms as he commented, "I think we've been dealing with one too many of them if you ask me."
"They were a couple of guys who called themselves Wheelo and Kochin." Everest said as she recalled that day. While the majority of the new group nor the twins didn't recall or know the names, Bulma placed her hands on her face when she gasped, "Doctors Wheelo and Kochin?"
"You know them?" Rubble asked while tilting his head. Bulma then told him, "Wheelo and Kochin were scientists that went missing over fifty years ago."
"Well, somehow they ended up in ouw wowld." Zuma informed. Looking to his friends he added, "They twied to steal ouw powews and take ovew Goku's body."
That earned a few grossed looks from the new group. Bulma then said, "Well, can I see the simulations?"
"Sure, just follow me and Ryder." Rocky nodded. Ryder gestured for her to follow, "If you'll come this way."
"Wait, what are we supposed to do?" Oolong questioned before they moved into the Lookout. Bulma shrugged and said, "I don't know. Go and see the sights or something. We'll call you when we're done."
"If you say so." Krillin shrugged, having nothing better to do. Ryder looked to the remaining Pups and suggested, "Why don't you show Goku's friends and family around Adventure Bay while we're busy."
"Okay, Ryder." Most of the Pups nodded. As the three left, Everest said, "Actually, I probably need to head back to Jake's place. I had to leave really fast yesterday."
"We can give you lift." Ella offered her friend. Everest took the offer, "Thanks. I really appreciate it.
"See ya, Pups." The Husky said to her friends. Chase, Rubble, Zuma and Skye all waved their paws, "See ya, Everest."
"B-Bye, Everest." Marshall stammered and tried to calm himself. The four friends looked to him with grins with Chase lightly shaking his head. On the other side, only Krillin, Gohan, Master Roshi and Oolong took notice of what was going on. Everest didn't seem to notice this as she followed the twins to where they were keeping their bikes.
It wasn't much longer when they heard the bikes revving up and taking off down the road. As the two went over the bridge, everyone watched them go. From behind, Oolong leaned over to Master Roshi and Krillin to say, "Looks like Spotty there has the hots for her."
"So it would seem." Master Roshi nodded in agreement. The remaining Pups looked to the majority of their guests and Skye offered, "Okay, how about that tour?"
"Listen, as nice as a tour sounds right now, we need to focus." Piccolo was quick to interject. Before heading inside, Rocky said, "Well, even if we start making the portal to return you guys back home, it's going to take some time to finish it.
"You'll be waiting either way." He made a good point before following after Ryder and Bulma into the Lookout. Piccolo sighed as he knew that they had their points. Master Roshi pointed his walking stick towards the town and said, "Well, lead the way, young Pups.
"Never thought I'd say anything like that." He commented to himself and scratched the back of his head with his free hand, finding it a little bizarre if he was honest with himself. The Pups started to lead the way with the new group behind them towards the bridge.

Meanwhile, Ryder, Rocky and Bulma all entered the elevator to the top floor. Bulma looked to the Mixed-Breed and said, "I do hope that I wasn't too rude earlier. I just wasn't expecting you to be an adorable puppy."
"It's okay. Goku was pretty shocked when he first came here too." Rocky told her. Bulma looked between the two and asked, "So, was there really no way to bring Goku back with how machine originally was?"
"You'll have to look at the simulations that I ran and you'll see that I was telling the truth." Was all that Rocky could tell her. He noticed that she was still looking at him with a shocked expression and asked, "Are you gonna be okay, Bulma?"
"Wha-" She started to ask. Then she realized what he was asking and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that I didn't think King Kai was talking about an actual pup when he told me about you."
"It's okay. Goku was quite shocked when he first got here too." Rocky waved it off when they walked into the elevator. Ryder pushed the button to the top floor and the sliding doors closed before lifting them up.

Out in Adventure Bay, the rest of the Pups and Goku were giving the others a tour of the place. Their first stop was the café and Gohan asked, "So, this Mr. Porter allows you guys to eat here?"
"Yeah, on account that we help him out every so often." Rubble nodded as they walked by the shop. As if on cue, the owner of the café came out of the shop, noticed the group and greeted, "Aw, welcome, Pups. Goku, nice to see you again.
"Oh, and I see you've brought some new friends with you." The café owner noticed Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Master Roshi and Oolong standing there. Goku laughed and said, "Yep." He placed a hand on Gohan's shoulder as he introduced the others, "This is my son Gohan and my friends Piccolo, Krillin, Master Roshi and Oolong."
"Nice to meet you." Gohan waved to the café owner. Mr. Porter waved back and said, "Nice to meet you guys.
"Say, why don't I get you guys some waters, on the house." He offered. The five Pups all smiled and said, "Thanks, Mr. Porter."
"You sure it's okay?" Krillin asked, not wanting to take it for nothing. But Mr. Porter waved it off by saying, "Nonsense. I just wanted to say thanks again to those who rescued my grandson from the eagles.
"And any friend of Goku is considered a friend of mine." He added with a wink. He leaned over to the tenants of the Hermit House and said with a low voice, "And I think one of you desperately needs it. He's looking a little green in the gills."
Everyone happened to hear that small comment and immediately turned their heads to Piccolo while the Namekian as he scowled while crossing his arms. But the group accepted the water nonetheless. Mr. Porter went back in to get the waters while the rest of the group remained outside. While they waited, they moved to a big table for all of them and Piccolo asked, "So, these individuals you fought yesterday? What were they like?"
"Well there were about nine of them." Goku recounted. Zuma was quick to put in, "Ten when you count Humdingew."
"True." Chase nodded in agreement. Marshall then said, "While there's a group of kittens that have the exact same powers as us, there's the Ladybird whose super strong and can fly at the same time."
"Harold, who can build things out of other machines." Skye recounted with an eye roll, somewhat fed up with dealing the evil boy genius. Rubble then said, "And then there's the Copycat and he's able to copy just about any ability there is."
"He even copied Goku's Kaio-ken technique." Zuma threw in which threw the group for a loop. Piccolo looked to Goku and questioned, "You let this guy copy that dangerous technique of yours?"
"I'd say that the Copycat learned his lesson from using it. And it was not pretty." Chase shook his head, slightly shuddering at the memory. Krillin then asked, "Was Garlic Jr. still immortal?"
"Yeah, and he wasn't an easy fight, I tell ya." Goku nodded just when Mr. Porter brought out the waters, in both cup and dog bowl. He set them down before each of the group and Mr. Porter then asked, "Where are Rocky and Ryder?"
"They're up at the Lookout with another of Goku's friends." Skye told him as everyone started to take a sip of their water. Mr. Porter noticed some more customers and excused himself, "Pardon me, I have a few other customers to take care of. I'll be back to check on you guys."
"Thanks, Mr. Porter." Goku waved to him as the café owner walked off. Gohan then asked, "So, you've been okay in the time that you've been gone."
"Pretty much, yeah." Goku nodded. Placing a hand on his son's shoulder he did say, "I do apologize for making you and your mom worry about me. I can't wait to tell her about this place."
"It is quite an interesting place to see, I will give that much." Master Roshi agreed. They were about to keep conversing when they heard Mr. Porter say, "Please, gentlemen, why don't we all calm down."
"I'm afraid there's not much of that, pal." A higher pitched voice said. The group all looked to see the new customers starting to surround the café owner. There were about eleven of the guys in total. They were all wearing jean jackets, black jeans and brown combat boots. One of them cracked his knuckles and those at the table got up to do something about it. Chase was the first to act by saying, "Hold it right there, fellas."
The German Shepherd got the thugs' attention when they turned to the group. They all laughed when Chase was joined by Marshall, Skye, Zuma and Rubble. Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan and Master Roshi all stood behind them while Oolong snuck around behind them to get to Mr. Porter. One of the thugs then mockingly said, "Oh, look! It's the Paw Patrol, and they're not looking too happy."
"Want a treat, Doggies?" Another taunted and it got a laugh from a few next to him. Skye shook her head, "What we want is for you to leave Mr. Porter alone."
"Yeah, he didn't do anything to you." Rubble said and growled at them. The one at the head of the group shrugged, "So what? Are you and your pals here gonna teach us a lesson?"
"Bring it on." The one next to him challenged. Then he came forward and tried to kick at Marshall. While the Dalmatian flinched from the coming kick, a green hand was quick to stop it. Every one of the thugs looked to the Namekian with a confused looks. But Piccolo had a smirk when he accepted, "Gladly."
With a shove of his arm he sent the man stumbling back. The thug flailed about to keep himself from falling over and didn't look too happy when he said, "Oh, you just made a big mistake, sick looking freak!"
With a yell he rushed forward, but the grinning Piccolo suddenly disappeared before his eyes. This really confused the guy before he was suddenly yanked backwards by the collar of his shirt and sent flying into his friends. They all cried out when he crashed into them and fell back a good few feet from the café. The thugs looked up to see the group coming towards them and Krillin asked with a grin of his own, "Had enough?"
"Not even close." The leader glared as they all got up. They all yelled as they rushed forward and raised their fists. As they came closer, Master Roshi told the group, "What say we teach these guys to respect others, shall we?"
"I'm down with that." Piccolo said as they all assumed their stances. Krillin noticed the Pups all getting ready to fight as well and asked, "You guys know combat."
"Mostly in the ways of Pup Fu." Marshall said as the bad guys came closer. When the eleven thugs were close enough, both the Paw Patrol and the Z Fighters went to work on them.
Krillin blocked a downwards chop from one before twisting around and landing a swift kick to the guys thigh. He cried out as he bent over and Krillin finished his off with an uppercut. Krillin grinned as he dusted his hand off from a job well done.
Master Roshi was skillfully dodging punches from the biggest guy while also leading him around in a circle. When the thug tried to kick at the martial arts master, the turtle hermit managed to catch the foot before flipping the guy off of his feet. The man cried out as he spun through the air before landing on his face. He groaned and looked up to see Master Roshi leaning against his cane with a knowing look.
A third guy tried to punch Piccolo in the chest and the Namekian let him. When the fist made contact with him, the thug became greatly confused as to why Piccolo didn't react. But Piccolo took him down with one chop to the noggin and the thug made a comical look before falling down.
Gohan ducked from a swing of a guy's hand before jumping over the leg of another. But with their defense pretty bad, Gohan was able land a spin kick to their faces to knock them back. Both men crashed into each other's sides and fell down in a heap. Gohan landed back on his feet and smiled for a job well done.
Chase dashed forward, spun around on three paws and landed a kick with his back paw to his guy's lower leg. While the man cried out, the German Shepherd used the opportunity to jump and do a backflip in the air and landing a strike to the guy's jaw. The thug ended up falling onto his back while Chase landed before him.
Marshall moved his head out of the way of a punch and quickly wrapped his forepaws around the guy's arm. The human cried out as the Dalmatian was able to turn and throw him over his shoulder. The thug landed on his back and turned on his side with a groan. Marshall placed a paw on the guy's shoulder to prevent him from getting away.
Skye used her acrobatics and agility to jump and land a jab of her paw to her guy's gut, chest and forehead in a rapid fashion. The Cockapoo was able to end it by leaping up and landing a blow with both back paws to the back of his head and knocked him flat on his face. Skye landed on her feet and turned to the downed thug.
Rubble didn't have to fight much. When the Bulldog's thug came right at him, he had his head facing down. The man slowed to a stop and Rubble lifted his head to give him a big set of puppy dog eyes. The thug gushed over how adorable Rubble was looking and picked the Bulldog up. Rubble's cuteness quickly dropped when he scowled and with a yell he headbutted the man in the face. The thug groaned before falling onto his back with Rubble sitting on his chest.
Goku sweep kicked the last guy's legs out from underneath him. The man yelled as he was sent spinning in the air and the Saiyan grabbed him by the ankle. With a simple toss he had the thug land amongst his friends. All the beaten-up thugs lifted their heads with groans and Chase asked, "Had enough? Or do we need to keep going?"
"I thought the Paw Patrol was supposed to be nonviolent?" One of the thugs asked while looking to another. Rubble shrugged and questioned, "What? Did you think that this was a Nickelodeon cartoon or something?"
"We'll always look out for one of our own." Skye promised when she glanced back to Mr. Porter. The café owner had a grateful look on his face as they continued to stare down the thugs. Marshall came forward and ordered, "Now get out of hewe!"
All four Pups started growling at the group and with comical looking frightened faces they scrambled up to their feet before running off. While Piccolo only smirked, the rest of the group started laughing as they watched the bad guys run away. Krillin looked between the five Pups with a chuckle, "That was incredible the way those Pups moved."
"Well, you wewen't so bad eithew." Zuma complimented and raised a paw. While a little confused at first, Krillin got the gist of it and bumped his own fist against the Chocolate Lab's paw. Piccolo admit, "While those guys were quite easy, and given what we've been told, you aren't no slouches when it comes to fighting."
"Well, we're still undergoing training." Marshall pointed out and the other four nodded. Goku then remembered, "We'll need to talk to your teacher sometime."
"Must be quite the teacher if you were able to move like that." Master Roshi said. Gohan then asked, "Do you think we can finish that tour now?"
"Sure. See ya, Mr. Porter." Skye said to the café owner. Mr. Porter waved them off as they left. While Master Roshi, Oolong, Krillin and Gohan talked to the Pups, Piccolo didn't move his gaze when he asked Goku in a low voice, "I'm guessing that you've sensed something a little odd about these Pups, am I right?"
"Yeah, and I witnessed something too." Goku told his frenemy. With a grin he said, "It's kind of why I want to see what these guys are really made of. Like in a sparring match."
"Which is why you want to talk to that teacher of theirs?" Piccolo guessed. Goku nodded, "Yep. Plus, I feel that we're gonna have to wait for Bulma and Rocky to finish working on a way back home. So we'll have to wait either way."
"I guess." Piccolo agreed with that, even though he wasn't too particular about it. Goku laughed and said, "Don't worry. We'll be back in time to stop the Androids. Plus, who knows what else this place has?"
While the two conversed, Marshall had glanced back to the two.

Back at the Lookout, Bulma leaned against the console of the computer in disbelief. She felt a little distraught to know that she could have done great harm the way she had planned. Rocky came up next to her and said, "It's okay, Bulma. The important thing is, we'll be able to fix it."
"Yeah, I know." Bulma said and straightened up. Ryder joined them and said, "Now all we need is what you did to construct the portal on your end and redo the process here."
"Yeah, if we're able to find all that we need that is." Bulma scratched her chin. Both humans looked down to Rocky when the Mixed-Breed held out his paw and said, "Well, however we're going to do this, we'll do it together."
"Together." They both agreed and bumped a fist against the paw.

Narrator: After arriving on the Paw Patrol's Earth, not only Goku and his friends are able to catch up, but they witness what the Paw Patrol are capable of. And while they were doing that, Bulma, Ryder and Rocky begin making preparations to start on the other half of the portal project. What does their next adventure entail?
