From Ninja to Shinigami

Chapter 39:Kumo

[On the road]

The next morning, after making sure that all of the remaining bandits had been removed from the area, both groups had decided to head back to the Hidden Cloud Village and as a final thank you, the father had decided that he would make sure that each of the children would be taken care of and put in a good home with a family.

As both groups were traveling down the road heading towards the Hidden Cloud Village Naruto was sitting in the carriage reading a book while listening to Sara who was giving both Sakura and Ino a quiz on medical ninjutsu with every now and then throwing a question at him. Naruto was brought out of his thoughts by the hearing his name called. Looking at Sara as she asks "how, how many bones make up the human spine?"

Naruto closes his book and says "an average person will be born with 33 individual bones. These are known as the vertebrae. They interact and connect with each other through flexible joints called facets. But by the time a person becomes an adult most will have only 24 vertebrae because some vertebrae at the bottom end of the spine fuse together during normal growth and development."

Sara simply nods her head and says "it's good that you remember. You should know lady Tsunade has said that she wants you to continue your medical training so once we get back to the village we will continue. I know that you cannot use medical Ninjutsu because of the potency of the fox's chakra but that does not mean you cannot be a regular medic."

Sakura looks at Ino saying "I'm shocked that he was able to answer that." Ino let out a little giggle and says "she is one of only a few women who can make Naruto sit still and pay attention."

Shikamaru, with his hands in his pockets, says "Troublesome but she's nowhere near as bad as my mom. Naruto once decided to ignore an order from my mom to stop eating at Ichiraku's Ramen every single night. When she found out he disobeyed her, she decided to punish him in a way that would get the point across and she had my old man pay for a 2-week vacation for the father and daughter and threatened him the next time he disobeyed her it would be a month-long vacation."

Naruto had a dark cloud over his head as he says under his breath "those were the worst two weeks of my life." Which had resulted in everybody else laughing at him

Naruto then look at Sara and says "I appreciate the offer and I would gladly accept it but knowing that I would not always be able to attend classes and if I can I will be able to send a shadow clone."

Cee let out a chuckle and says "don't feel bad. Yugito once got banned from all of the sushi restaurants for a month after she completed her first A ranked mission because she decided to spend it all at one time. It took Lord Ay & Killer Bee to stop her."

Yugito's face erupted in a blush while shooting daggers at him with her eyes.

As the group managed to come over a ridge, they were able to see the village. All of the younger Leaf ninjas were all standing on the ridge looking with wide-eyed expressions. Ino says loud enough for everybody to hear "it's so beautiful."

As the group headed towards the gate, Naruto looked at Cee and says "so tell me what can I expect from your Village Council? Are they all a bunch of blowhards?" Which made all of the Hidden Cloud ninja laugh, both at the comment and the fact that Sara reached across and smacked him on the back of the head while saying "I will not have you acting like that and using that language. You are a lord now, you will have to act like it."

Naruto gave her an evil-look saying "did you just hit me, a lord?" Sara, with her evil smirk, says "did it feel something like this?" As she once again whacked him on the head. She then says "if you keep complaining and misbehaving, when we get back to the village, I'm going to give you a head to toe physical now that I know that you are sexually active and as in your training you should know that's going to require a lot of shots and blood drawn."

Naruto had gone a ghost white while everybody around him began to laugh at him.

Ino looks at him and says "let's just hope he's been practicing his diplomatic solutions and negotiations."

Naruto shrugs his shoulders and says "yes, I have but if it comes to the worst, I'll just go with plan B.

Guy, who is now walking next to the carriage, says "and what is that?"

Naruto, with his foxlike grin, says "if they're not willing to be diplomatic about it, I will just switch to aggressive diplomatic solutions. I mean just look what I did to Hinata's father and family."

With a look of curiosity on her face, Samui looked at Ino with a raised eyebrow. Ino then launches into the tale of what Naruto did to Hinata's family. By the time she was done, all of the Hidden Cloud party are looking at Naruto in shock.

Darui let out a small chuckle and says "I guess papa was right, you never want to mess with an Uzumaki."

Naruto then says "and if anyone from the main branch still try to cause trouble for my family, I still got dirt to bring out and even dying their hair and changing their last name or moving to another continent would not save them from my wrath if I brought this out."

Shikamaru lets out a breath and says "I know I'm going to regret this but what are you talking about?"

Naruto says "as you all know the main branch of the Hyuuga clan brand their Branch family with a Juinjutsu on their forehead to protect their eyes but in doing so they are enslaving their Branch family as the Branch family has no say in the matter because if they refuse to do anything that they are told to they can have the seal activated on their forehead which would basically fry their brain like an egg and seeing as how slavery has been outlawed in the Land of Fire since the new Daimyo took his office as that was the first thing he made illegal." All of those in the leaf party who studied the politics of the country nodded their heads.

Naruto then says "and by them continuing the practice of it, this is them breaking the law which could see the rest of the main branch put in prison."

Naruto then says "I despise slavery but at the same time I know that it can in some cases be good and serve a purpose."

Sakura looks at Naruto and says "I agree with you that slavery is bad but what do you mean it can serve a purpose?"

Naruto calmly says "let me paint you a scenario. Let's say that you are living on the streets with your infant child, winter is approaching and you have come down with a disease that's going to kill you due to the fact that you cannot afford the money for the medicine, and you know that there will be no one to look after your child. You are sitting there on the street trying to think of what you're going to do when suddenly one of the nobles from one of the neighboring countries comes through the village. They can see that you are sick and decide to take pity on you and offer to take you back to the mansion and give you the medicine you need along with the shelter during the winter but to pay for this you will have to sign a contract of an indentured slave for you and your infant child for a period of 10 to 15 years."

Naruto notices that he has everybody looking at him, so he continues by saying "you and your child would be taken back to the estate and the child would be raised on the estate she/he would be educated, fed, and clothed, and once they were old enough, they will be put to work doing cooking and cleaning and at the end of the contract if you wish to continue you could or you could leave."

Asuma, who was driving the carriage, looks at them and says "what he says is quite common among the nobles, especially through refugees coming in from some war state countries."

Sakura then says "well I guess you're right, and I guess not all forms of slavery would be bad and as long as my child would be looked after if I was to pass away and be taken care of and could walk away afterwards, I guess that wouldn't be so bad."

[Kumo Village Gates]

Asuma brought the carriage to a stop as they would have to take a large elevator up towards the village. Cee and his group signed back into the village along with helping the Leaf Village group sign in and send a runner to inform Lord Ay of their arrival. Cee looks at the Leaf group and says "once we get up top, you will have to leave the carriage, as the roads are not designed for it."

Naruto climbs out of the carriage and stretches his back, getting a few pops as the elevator starts going up. He looks at the operator and says "so, how's your day been? It must be pretty boring being an elevator operator." The Cloud ninja looks at him and says "well, you know, it does have its ups and downs." Making both of them break out laughing while everybody behind them facepalms.

Ino suddenly grabbed him by the front of his jacket and says "that is it. If I catch you trying to do anymore bad puns or jokes, I'm going to…" Being cut off as Naruto kisses her on the lips.

Ino crosses her arms and says "my dad told you to do that didn't he? He uses the same technique on my mom." This has the rest of the group laughing at her as Naruto shrugs his shoulders and says "well, it's a useful technique."

As the group finally reaches the top and exit the elevator, Cee says "let's head to the Tower." And begins to lead the group down one of the roads. As the group was walking down the street, they would occasionally have to grab onto both Ino and Sakura, who would stop and look at a storefront looking at the clothing. It was usually Tenten who grabbed them and who would say "come on we can come back after we're done." The group got a good laugh as they had passed an Armory which had drawn Tenten in like a moth to a flame with both girls having to pick up her by the arms and carry her away.

As the group turned a corner and began to head down another street, both groups suddenly stopped as they felt a killer intent. All of the Jonin managed to locate it coming from Naruto. Asuma looks at him and sees his eyes have narrowed. He then follows his eyes and sees a group of Hidden Waterfall ninja walking down the street towards them. Placing his hand on his shoulder, he says "calm down. This isn't the place to deal with this. The last thing you need to do is create an incident here in the village."

Naruto closes his eyes and says "you're right." After the two group had passed each other, Yugito, who was walking next to Kurenai, says "what was that about? He's been pretty calm the whole way. I've never seen him usually get this angry. What did the Hidden Waterfall do to get on his bad side?"

Kurenai gave a brief summary of what had happened to Fuu and how Naruto had to rescue her and how the village had treated her. Yugito had to put her hand on her forehead to stop the headache coming to her from all the screeching that Matatabi was doing.

[Yugito's mindscape]

Matatabi was currently trashing the forest that made up the mindscape due to finding out that her big sister had been mistreated and while screaming about how that village better hope she never gets near it or they will learn what hellfire really feels like.

Naruto can see the look of discomfort on Yugito's face, recognizing it so he says "Matatabi, it's okay. Chōmei is doing fine now. She and Fuu are as happy as can be. The only danger they are in right now is from their new mother figure Tsunami."

Sakura, with a big smile on her face, says "if she's adopted her, they're in no danger there. She is a very sweet and kind woman."

Naruto gives a small laugh saying "Fuu can be accident-prone and a bit of an airhead given her naive nature but she now has a bunch of brothers and sisters who look out for her and help her understand the things that she needs."

Yugito, after getting Matatabi to calm down, says "she wants to talk to you when we have time."

Ino, with the same look on her face that she always had when she was looking for gossip, says "when you say accident-prone, what do you mean?"

Naruto pinches his nose and says "she once got stuck in a cave, that had half collapsed, because she saw a skull and crossbones sign and thought she would get to meet pirates. And the day before she got ahold of a bottle of sake that had a picture of a human breathing fire due to it being hot but to her naive mind this meant that she would be able to breathe fire." When he turned back to look at the group, he was met with looks of disbelief.

Sakura shakes her head and says "she sounds just as crazy as you are."

Naruto put his hands on his hips and says "I am not crazy, I'm eccentric." As he jabbed his thumb in his chest and says "besides Shikamaru's mom had me tested."

Shikamaru looks at the group and says "yeah and you passed and received the one and only A+ you've ever gotten in your life." This had both groups burst out laughing at him.

Their group is broken out of their laughing fit as they hear a small voice call out "oh no, my balloon." Looking ahead of them, they see a family with a child looking at a balloon that's floating away. Naruto can see the tears begin to form in the child's eyes, then looks at the balloon. Before anything can be said, Naruto vanishes using flash step and appears standing in the middle of the air and grabs the balloon by a string. He then begins to jump back down as if he was stepping on stones.

Naruto managed to land right back in front of the child and says "there you go little guy. Make sure you hold on to it now." The boy looked at Naruto with stars in his eyes and says "that was so cool! I just started the academy yesterday. Am I going to learn how to do that?"

Naruto gave a small chuckle and says "what I did was a pretty advanced technique. You won't be learning anything like that for a long time." Seeing that the boy has a small frown on his face, Naruto says "but how about I give you some advice. Do you know what the most powerful tool a shinobi has to have in their arsenal?"

The boy shakes his head no and says "the only thing I can think of is an awesome jutsu." Naruto gave a small laugh and says "well you're not the only one who would think that but no it's not that. The most powerful tool a shinobi should have in their arsenal is a keen mind. Never look at a problem in one direction. Always look at it in multiple different points of view. Sometimes to solve the hardest problems, we have to look at it with a solution that we would always overlook, so sometimes you have to think like a civilian and not a shinobi and so the best shinobis are the ones who practice the art of a practical thinker."

All of the surrounding Cloud ninja in the large crowd of people who have been watching, nod their heads in agreement. Naruto looks down and sees a leaf on the ground, smiling he says "here is another tip for you. Always work on your chakra control when you have time." He then sticks the leaf on his forehead and making it stay there. "This is one of the beginning lessons that you will learn." He then takes the leaf off and hands it to the boy, who instantly tried to put it on his forehead, but it falls off. Naruto says "don't worry, you'll get the hang of it eventually, and once you can get it to stick to your forehead, add another leaf to another part of your body. This will help you with your control, which is a big factor of how I did my standing in the air thing." He gave a small smile and says "just don't bring to many leaves in your house, I don't think your mom would care for that."

The boy lets off a small laugh and says "my mom is a total neat-freak and is obsessed with keeping the house clean." The woman, who was standing behind them with a red face, says "I'm not that bad." The man, who was obviously her husband, standing next to her, says "honey you got cleaning supplies to clean your cleaning supplies." The surrounding crowd of people begin to laugh at this.

After saying goodbye, the group was moving back through the crowd. After a few minutes, Cee says "I don't suppose you will explain how you were able to stand in the air will you?" Naruto gave the same summary he had given to the last group who asked about it then says "only those who I trust will I train how to do that and I stand by what I said before I will not be teaching Ino for reasons that she knows."

Ino narrows her eyes at him and says "if you make that joke one more time, not only will you be the Lord of the Land of Whirlpools, you're going to become the Lord of the couch." Naruto, with his foxy grin on his face, says "but if I'm Lord of the couch, who are you going to play with in the bed?" Ino crosses her arms and looks at him with a grin and says "I have several sister wives coming towards me. I think we can manage to come up with a few fun ideas."

Sakura looks between them and says "okay, am I missing something here?"

Tenten leaned over and whispered in her ear for a second. Sakura suddenly breaks into laughter and says "I can't believe I missed that." Seeing everybody else looking at her, she says "he's right we can't teach her that because then we would have flying pigs and who knows what bad things could happen then."

Asuma grabs Ino by the back of her dress as she's running in place as she furiously swipes at Sakura, who was standing just out of her reach, laughing while Ino is saying "come say that to my face you walking billboard!" Both girls continue to bicker back and forth but both suddenly stopped as a very cold sensation becomes apparent around them. Slowly both girls turn to the right and see Sara standing there. She then says "both of you will stop this immediately and start acting like kunoichi and not five-year-olds. do I make myself clear? Because if you don't, I can guarantee you will not like your time training at the hospital because I can see a lot of bedpans in your future if you continue."

Sara then looks at Naruto saying "that goes for you as well because I could always put you on the one job you hate most at the hospital. the night time security of the morgue." Both groups watch all the color leave his face.

Ino begins to laugh and says "I remember when he kept jumping because of my talking Sally doll would go off every time he walked in the room and he was convinced it was possessed."

Karui, after coming down from a laughing fit, says "so what you're saying is he's afraid of everything that goes bump in the night?" Naruto crossed his arms with a pout on his face making everybody laugh at him.

Shikamaru who had a smirk on his face said "did you find it? I know you were looking for it as it disappeared one day."

Ino shrugs her shoulders and says "no, I never did find it."

Naruto was standing off to the side giving his best 'I'm innocent' face.

[Naruto's mindscape]

A chibi Ino was sleeping in her bed when suddenly the window slowly opens and a chibi Naruto climbs in through the window dressed as a stereotypic ninja and slowly approaches the bed and grabs a doll that is sitting on the bed. Then he jumps back out the window.

We can now see the chibi Naruto was standing on a bridge, overlooking a river with a large bag. He then begins to put rocks in it, he then reaches in his pocket and pulls out a doll with green hair and yellow eyes. In a creepy little voice, it says "I love you." He then took out a marker and wrote evil doll on the forehead then quickly shoves it in the bag with the rocks, before wrapping it in chains and throws it off the side and watches it sink to the bottom of the river.

[Reality]

The group finally reaches the tower and begins to climb the stairs. Upon reaching the top, they are met by Mabui sitting at a desk. As she looks up to see the team and welcomes them back.

She then turned her attention to the Hidden Leaf group, specifically Naruto, giving him a bow and welcoming him by saying "welcome Lord Uzumaki." Naruto gave a small bow of his head and says "it's nice to see you again as well Mabui."

Mabui then says "your group just arrived in the perfect time. Lord Ay should be finishing up the last of his paperwork." She then turned and knocks on the door, saying "you have visitors." Both of the groups can hear a gruff voice from inside say "come in."

As the group walk into the office, they were greeted to the sight of a large man lifting oversized weights. Kiba's jaw dropped to the ground, seeing the large weights. Ay looked up, seeing who came into his office. He then stands up and grabs a rag hanging off the side, and says "good to see you're back, Cee. We will get to your mission in a minute to see how the mission went."

Ay then looks at Naruto and says "glad you could finally make it back and that you're keeping your word. I already informed my council that you would be arriving, and don't worry, they're not going to cause you any trouble. I told him if they even tried, I'd use my iron claw on their asses."

Ay goes and sits down behind his desk then looks at Mabui saying "send out a runner to get a couple hotel rooms for this Leaf group." Mabui gave a quick nod and quickly leaves the room. He then turned his attention back to Cee and asked "how did the mission go?"

Cee began to give a mission briefing going over all the details that they had gathered. He then began to explain how the Leaf Village group had managed to help them with the mission, including making a comment about wanting to put a requisition form in for a couple of the glasses of Naruto's including the name of a spy in the mission assignment room. Cee then looks at Naruto and asked "can you please bring out the prisoner?" And after getting permission from Ay, Naruto opens a small Garganta (Black Cavity") and the prisoner falls out in the fetal position, shivering.

Ay snapped his fingers and then an ANBU suddenly appeared and says "take this piece of trash to the T&I division, then go and collect our little spy."

And when it got to the point when the fight happened with Atsushi, both Yugito and Naruto stepped up to the front of the desk and begin to give a report on the fight. Naruto then reached into his pocket, taking out a scroll and then unsealing the statue of Atsushi. Ay raised an eyebrow, looking at it, then gave a curt nod while saying "couldn't happen to a better person. You saved me a bunch of paperwork."

Ay sat and listened to the rest of the mission briefing. When it was done, he says "good job." He then grabbed a piece of paper and stamps it and says "I will make sure your mission pay gets put in your accounts." He then looks at Yugito and Naruto and saying "since it was the two of you who took him down, you're going to have to split the bounty." He then reaches over to the side of his desk and grabs a book that all of them recognized as a bingo book, flipping a couple pages saying "it looks like it was two-and-a-half million Ryo."

Naruto straightens his back and says "seeing as how he came from your village, and I already have a decent-sized fortune, I would like my share of the bounty to be put to good use, helping those who need it in this village." He then looked at Mabui, who had re-entered the room during the briefing, and says "I would like my share to be split evenly between these following places." Mabui takes out a notepad.

Naruto says "the first portion should be sent to the orphanages of your village." With a slight narrowing of his eyes, he says "make sure the money actually gets used on the orphans and does not end up in the pockets of the people running it. The next portion of it, if your village is like ours, your village should have orphans living by themselves getting a stipend, please see to it that they get a small bonus in the next check. Next, I want another portion of it split between any widowed who had a significant other that was a shinobi or injured/struggling retired shinobi and another portion of it should go to the hospital, and then I want you to survey the Academy, find any students that are using second-hand or Bargain Bin supplies due to the family's not being able to support the children with Quality Equipment and get them actual supplies they need, and the final portion of it should go to any and all of your homeless shelters because I know your winter months are coming up. I want you to focus on getting food and winter clothes/blankets etcetera. Again, make sure that they focus on the elderly and children."

Ino walked up and wrapped her arm around his waist, giving him a kiss on the cheek, and says "that's what I love about you most. You're always willing to help other people." while this was happening, the group from the Hidden Cloud look on with shocked looks on their faces.

Yugito was one of the first to snap out of it. She then looks at Mabui and said "you can use my portion as well. I can't think of anything else to add to the list that he gave you. He seemed to cover all the areas that needed it." Naruto says "if you're going to give your portion as well, there is another that you could help with that I just thought of. Any kunoichi who is on maternity leave can get a small bonus or a Shinobi who is taking a leave of absence to help his wife who is pregnant." Yugito quickly nods her head and says "add it to the list."

Mabui, after finishing writing down the list, then said "I will make sure it gets done."

Ay clears his throat and says "well as it is, we will meet with the council tomorrow. For now, you are dismissed." He then turned his steel eyes on Naruto and says "I want you to stay out of trouble Uzumaki. If I find out you pulled one single prank, I'm going to Thunderclap you." As the group was walking out of the office, everyone can hear Naruto saying "you see. I told you so Ino-chan. That one day I would be known around the world and that my awesomeness as the King of Pranksters would be known around the world." Ino grabs him by the back of his jacket and dragged him out, saying "let's go Your Majesty. We got to have a talk." Naruto begins to call out "no, no, help me, help me. I need an adult, I need an adult." As he attempted to drag his feet, making both groups laugh at him.

[Konoha, Uzumaki compound]

Hinata was sitting in Naruto's office going over some paperwork. As she opens an envelope, pulling out the contents, finding yet another marriage contract. Her left eye begins to twitch as a racy photograph of a woman old enough to be his mother in lingerie was included.

She is snapped out of glaring at the picture, trying to set it on fire, by the voice of Tsunade saying "unless you have somehow gotten the Scorch Release, I don't think you're going to be able to set it on fire with your eyes."

Hinata looked at Tsunade saying "this is the tenth one I found, and most of the women are old enough to be his mother. They should be ashamed of themselves." Tsunade let off a small laugh, saying "you don't seem to have a problem with Anko." Hinata crosses her arms with a little pout on her face, saying "at least she knows him and is not trying to get with him just for his money and prestige."

Tsunade shakes her head, trying to suppress the grin on her face, while making a mental note in her head to tell Kushina. Knowing that the redhead would find this hilarious. She then says "you've done enough paperwork for today. Let's get to the hospital. I want to give you your next class today. I'm going to be teaching you how to apply a cast." As Hinata begins to tidy up the desk, putting all the paperwork in order, and as she picks up a stack of papers, it reveals an orange book that is instantly recognized by the Sannin.

Tsunade quickly appears before the desk and grabs the book before she could hide it. With a large grin on her face, she looks at Hinata, saying "well, well, well, what do we have here? You wouldn't happen to be looking for ideas for you and a certain blonde-haired brat, would you? I wonder what would happen if I was to tell Kurenai that you have this?" Hinata's face had erupted into a new shade of red as Tsunade watches the young girl squirm. As her eyes narrow then says "or better yet, maybe I should tell his mother that you have this." Watching as her face went from bright red to white as a ghost. Tsunade breaks out laughing. She then tosses the book back on the table and says "just make sure you hide it better next time."

As the two of them begin to walk through the compound courtyards, they come across Ashia, Noriko, and Nel, with Ashia holding a brown bag, trying to be sneaky. As the girls had not managed to spot them yet, they managed to walk up behind them, and Tsunade says "and just what are you three little troublemakers up to now?" All three girls jump at the sound of the voice and turn around quickly. Ashia was doing her best to hide the brown bag behind her back. All three girls quickly say "we're not doing anything." While trying to look innocent.

Hinata crosses her arms and uses her stern voice, saying "what are you up to now? you know you are still in trouble for putting the Green Jell-o in your brother's shoes." Ashia, realizing that they had been caught, says "we were just going to put these crickets in the jail cell room to make that kabuki have to listen to them chirp and know that he couldn't stop them."

Tsunade broke out in a grin and began to laugh at the kabuki reference for Jiraiya. When she heard about what they were going to do with their crickets, she began to laugh and said "good job, keep it up."

As the two of them continue to walk through the compound, they come across one of the courtyards and Tsunade has a small smile on her face as she sees Arisu and Saori, both practicing the new chakra control technique that she had given them in which they had to pour their chakra outwards and connected it to a large stone, making it float in the air. Right now, both of them had a stone the size of a bowling ball and she could tell by the look on their faces and the sweat on their foreheads that they were struggling, but she was proud of them nonetheless as this was a technique used by Jonin.

Hinata, who was standing next to her, says "Naruto said if the two of them continue at the rate they are going with their chakra control, he might decide to see if they can become Sages." Tsunade nods her head and thinks to herself if that is true, she had no doubt that these two would one day become monsters on the battlefield.

[Random street]

It wasn't long before the two of them were walking down the streets. With Hinata talking about her time in the academy and how she had wished she was brave enough to talk to Naruto.

Tsunade replies "don't feel so bad. Naruto's mother was just as bad but instead of being all shy and sitting at the back of the classroom, she was loud and bossy and liked to beat up people who made fun of her or embarrassed her and her favorite target was Naruto's father due to the fact that she could not express how she felt about him. She was your typical tsundere. You know you two have a lot in common, you were both almost kidnapped by the Hidden Cloud Village." Hinata looked at Tsunade with white eyes not knowing that she and Naruto's mom had that in common.

Tsunade and Hinata then see a house with a small fenced-in yard, but what had drawn their attention to this house was it was crawling with children. There were several boys cleaning out the gutters, while several other girls were weeding the garden. Tsunade recognized one of the girls as Nakara and one of the children who had help the elderly woman when she first returned to the village. Noticing that she had a clipboard in her hand, they watch as she calls out to the boys on the roof cleaning the gutters to look out for any loose shingles and watch as one of the boys called down to the to her "I will take care of it" and watch as he climbs off the ladder, onto the roof and slowly starts to look around.

Hinata calls out and gets Nakara's attention. As Nakara turned her head to look over at who was calling her, and said "oh, hi big sister, hi Grandma Tsunade." Hinata then asked her "what are you doing?" Nakara replies "we are helping Miss Takao get her house cleaned up, because she wants to sell it and her son refuses to help her." Nakara then says "so when I heard this, I got a few of my brothers and sisters to help out. I've got the younger ones out here helping clean the gardens and walkways, the older brothers are up on the roof cleaning out the gutters, and we've also got a few of the older kids inside dusting and cleaning."

Tsunade looks at all the children helping out and can't help but think that her grandmother would be so proud. She looks at the porch and sees the same elderly woman that had fallen, walk outside with a tray of lemonade, and calls out to the children to come get a glass of lemonade and take a break.

But before anyone could move a new male voice calls out "what the fuck is going on here? What the hell are all you brats doing to my house?" The group turned as one and saw a man and a woman standing on the other side of the fence.

Tsunade looks at him and says "and who are you?" The man looks at her and says "I don't have to tell you shit. This is my mother's house." And then says, "me and the old bat have to talk. Now get out."

Nakara looked at him and said "but we're not done helping Miss Takao clean her house and get it ready for an open house, as she wants to sell it."

The man with a look of rage on his face, says "I don't know what that old bat has been telling you but she's not selling it." The man looks at his mom and says "if you don't want to live here anymore, that's fine. I'll dump your ass in a retirement home."

Tsunade notices that each of the older kids are pushing the younger kids into the house while two of the boys are standing next to the woman taking up a defensive stance. Upon seeing this, she can't help but smile. Her attention is quickly drawn back to the man as he shoves the gate open and began to storm up the walkway. Nakara attempts to block his path. The man quickly reaches out grabs her shoulder and shoves her to the side, making her land on the ground. He looks down at her and says "now get all your brats and get out of here before I…" But he is cut off mid-sentence.

As Hinata suddenly appears before him and delivers a palm thrust to his chest, sending him crashing back through the gate, and onto the ground. As she is standing over him, those watching see her hair, that she had begun to grow out long when she heard that Naruto liked long hair, suddenly begin to float upwards, similar to what his mother would do when she was angry. As the air around them became ice cold as she speaks in a cold voice and says "how dare you attempt to harm one of my little sisters."

The man quickly manages to get back up on his feet and takes a swing at her, but Hinata manages to catch it by his wrist. She then bent it upwards, making him cry out in pain. While still twisting his wrist up, she then twists his arm behind his back, delivering a kick to the back of his knee, making him drop to his knees, she then leans forward. In a very cold whispery voice, she says "the only reason I don't kill you now is because my younger siblings are watching. But I will promise you this, if you ever raise your hand to my little brothers and sisters again, I will happily spend 72 hours breaking every bone in your body, then healing you and doing it all over again just so I can get some Medical Practice in. You are also very lucky that their big brother Naruto isn't here because I doubt there is anybody in this village that could stop him from killing you."

Despite the pain in his arm the man says "I heard about how that damn Uzumaki adopted all the brats from the orphanage. If I had been the one in power, I would have drowned him and all the other brats when they were dumped on the doorstep." Hinata quickly delivers a Jūken strike to the side of his neck, making him pass out. As Hinata looks at the woman who had accompanied him, she says "if you do not want the same treatment, I suggest you leave and never come back." Making the woman run away screaming.

Hinata turns around and sees all of the remaining children that were outside are now hiding behind Tsunade. For her part, Tsunade is doing her best not to bust out laughing, as she says "maybe you are not so much as a dandere as people think. You might just have a little bit of a tsundere in you because what you just did so reminded me of what Kushina would have done." While simultaneously thinking to herself 'I guess it's true what they say. Boys will always find girls who remind them of their mothers.' she then hears one of those little boys behind her say "big brother was right girls are scary when they get mad."

Tsunade then makes a hand gesture which summoned ANBU Neko. She then says "Neko take this man to the T&I division and have him booked for trespassing, assault on a child, and attempted assault on a kunoichi." Neko walks to the down man and says "of course my lady. In fact, there are several other charges that he is facing. He's been wanted for a while."

Tsunade then looks at the kids and says "you all keep up the good work." She then turned her attention back to Hinata and said "let us continue to the hospital."

[Kumo]

The group had decided to go out and celebrate a mission complete at a nice restaurant. Due to the large party, they had several large tables. Naruto looks at Ino and Sakura, both of them questioning Samui and Karui about the best stores to go to. Naruto had already told Ino he was not bankrolling another shopping spree for her but he was kind enough to slip Sakura a small roll of Ryo, due to the fact that she was not there for the last one.

Naruto then began to have a conversation with Cee about what the council was like, when the conversation was interrupted by a beeping sound, making everybody at all the tables look at him. Naruto reaches into his pocket and pulls out an object none of them recognized and he sees that he has a message sent to him. Raising an eyebrow, looking back up at the group, he says "it's just a message." As he opens the device and opens the message that he sees it is from Yoruichi.

HEY FOXY!

Just a heads up, two of the red clouds are down.

XOXO Yoruichi.

Naruto breaks out into a large smile while thinking about how he's going to thank her. Cee then asks "anything we need to be aware of?" Naruto shakes his head and says "something we can talk about tomorrow."

[Unknown location]

Two female figures are standing over two bodies lying on the ground. The taller one looks at the shorter one and says "well I sent the message to FOXY. Let's wrap up these bodies and take them back with us, and don't forget to pick up the three-pronged scythe." The shorter one replies "of course Lady Yoruichi." The now identified Yoruichi says "now, now, Soifon-chan, what have I told you before about calling me Lady, my little bumblebee?" Making the shorter one's face go red.

Yoruichi looks back at the two dead bodies and says "for being S-rank, the one known as Hidan, it was not that hard to bring him down by using our Superior speed and by removing his head." As she looked at the burlap sack in her hand, that they could hear Muffled screaming coming from it. "As for Kakuzu, the whole five hearts were rather annoying." Soifon nods her head and says "you are correct. if I had to give him a rank, I would put him as a Vasto Lorde." The two of them quickly wrap up the bodies and quickly take to the trees.

Seconds after they leave, a figure comes out of a tree, wearing an orange spiral mask with one eye and looks in the direction that they went, and in a childish voice he says "it seems we have new players on the field."

[Omake: Sakura versus the Clown]

Nine-year-old Ino had a large smile on her face as she watches all her friends walking into the party room for her ninth birthday. Her parents had rented out the miniature golf course and she had been able to invite all her friends from the academy. She then turned her attention to the large table with all the presents on it. She so desperately wanted to go and open them, but her mother had refused to let her open even one. She rolls her eyes when she sees Naruto walking in with a barely orange-colored wrapping paper present. Following him was none other than Sakura, along with her parents.

Once all of the guests had arrived, their parents broke the children into two groups to let them go play a round of miniature golf. After a short while, Ino and her team were on the 7th hole. As she was picking up her ball out of the hole, as she looks over at the next one, to see Sakura is up on the 8th hole which had been designed as a giant clown head, in which you had to roll the ball up the tongue of the clown missing the teeth that would come down and block the hole.

As both of the groups watch as she lined up for shot. She then swings her club, making the ball go up the tongue and into the hole, missing the teeth but right before she could celebrate, the clown laughs at her and spit the ball back out. With the ball coming back to rest right next to her, those around her watches her eyebrow twitches. She then swings the club again, hitting the ball back up the tongue and into the hole a second time only for the clown to laugh at her again and spit the ball out a second time.

Sakura, before anybody could do anything, runs forward to the clown, who was still laughing at her, and before anybody could get to her, begins to hit the clown with her golf club, while yelling and screaming "yeah keep laughing at me, you stupid clown." At it, all of the remaining children at the party are standing there gaping at her, and watch as she takes a big swing and knock the big red nose off the clown. But before she could do anything more, they watch as her father walks up and picks her up and begins to carry her away. She gives one more threat to the clown, saying "don't think this is over, you stupid clown. Laugh at me one more time." The group watch as the clown gives one final laugh, despite having smoke coming out of it, which seems to anger her even more. As she takes a few swings of her club despite being carried away.

The group of children are now watching as the parents talk to the manager, who is threatening to kick them out, Choji looks at Ino and asks "you think we'll be able to have some of that cake before we have to leave?" Ino just rolls her eyes and looks at her friend and shakes her head. Then she looks at Naruto, who had a big cheesy smile on his face. She then asks "what is with that smile?" With him replying "I'm just glad it wasn't me that caused a problem this time."
