Madison felt all watery as her eyes are still closed. But as she slowly opened them, she could see seaweed and coral in front of her. Madison slowly got up and looked around to see a bunch of plants and coral surrounded her and when she looked up to the sky, she noticed that sky looked so wavy along with the sun. But Madison knew it's not the sky and notice the sun's rays were shining.

She let out a smiled and quickly looked at herself. Her entire bodice to her legs were all white and scaley. But it's not really legs at all. It was her tail. Madison smiled even more as she was a mermaid again. She starts swishing slowly back and forth seeing how the scales shimmered with iridescent. As she decided to swim, Madison starts moving her tail back and forth like how she practice and starts moving around. Starting to explore.

As she starts swimming straight, Madison around as she was noticing something different. The plants around her look large and so were the coral. She stopped for a moment and looked at herself.

"Have I shrunk or did everything in the ocean just gotten big?" she questioned herself.

Madison continued swimming until she bumped into something, she was startled to see a giant fish.

"Excuse me" the fish politely said and swam off.

"Okay yep, that clues it out. I've shrunk!" she said to herself and then looked around.

Madison saw a bunch of fishes swimming around. Some of them swam fast like cars and were stopped by a red fish. She quickly swam across as the fishes stopped.

Just then, as she kept on swimming, she stopped for a moment as she wondered where she would be going. Suddenly, she heard two familiar voices that was coming from the distance behind her.

"Hold my fin. Hold my fin."

"Dad, you're not gonna freak out like you did at the petting zoo, are you?"

"Hey that snail was about to charge!"

Madison smiled and turned to see two clownfish swimming her way. It was none other than Marlin and Nemo. Marlin the overprotective father and Nemo with a very small fin on his right. She looked away, wondering how she will meet them, until she didn't notice that the two Clownfish didn't see where they were swimming and accidentally bumped into her.

"Oh! Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you two alright?" she asked as she turned around to face them and noticed the small Clownfish was staring at her.

"Daaad!" Nemo spoke as he was looking at her with his wide open and mouth dropped open.

Madison watched as Marlin was fussing over Nemo as if he was hurt which Nemo felt embarrassed.

"Um... hello?" she spoked to them, as she was not being rude.

"Yes, we're fine." The adult Clownfish answered, but as he starts to face her, he looked at her up and down with wide eyes. "Wha...?"

This feels really awkward between the three. To Madison, they must have thought that they have never seen a mermaid before. Or perhaps a small mermaid. But to Nemo, he looked all excited as he swims around her.

"Are you really a mermaid?" Nemo questioned in curiosity.

"Well… sort of speak. In ways I could be like a Pygmy mermaid." she chucked in a awkward way.

Marlin didn't looked impress, but Nemo looked more excited as he started asking her questions.

"Is it true that your scales sparkle? Sandy Plankton told me that mermaid scales sparkle in the sun."

"Well, I don't know, but they do sparkle." Madison replied.

"I also heard that their immortal. Are you immortal and do you have any powers?"

"Well..."

"Okay Nemo, let's leave the mermaid on her way." Marlin spoke to him and then looked at Madison. "It was nice meeting you, but we got to get to school."

"But Dad..."

"Come on, son."

"Wait!" Madison spoke as she stopped the two. "I'm sorry, I'm sort of new around this coral reef. And I would be happy to help you escort you to the school grounds if you want."

"Please, Dad." Nemo begged as he looked at his father.

"She's a stranger, Nemo. And what did I tell you about strangers?"

"Do not talk to them." he muttered as he looked down.

"I may appear to be a stranger, but you know sometimes fish aren't what they appear to be. I'll introduce myself. I'm Madison, but my friends call me Maddie."

"I'm Nemo." the little fish introduced.

"Nemo…see not a stranger anymore. And your name is?" Madison asked as she looked at the adult fish.

"Marlin." he replied.

Madison looked at him as she heard that kind of tone that wasn't too pleased. But then again, he is trying to protect his son.

"Is it alright if I hang out for a bit? Have a look around? I promise no funny business." she said as she had crossed her heart.

Marlin just stared at her for a moment. He wasn't so sure that it was a good idea, but seeing his son with the mermaid, he let out a sigh in defeat.

"Alright. The school is this way." he pointed.

Madison and Nemo shared a smile, and they swam together to the school grounds. There were so many colorful fishes, and the adult fishes are with their parents.

"Hmm, I wonder where we're supposed to go." Marlin questioned as he looked around.

The three swam by to see a large green fish, who opens her mouth and allowed all of her kids to come out.

"Bye, Mom!" they said to her.

"I'll pick you up after school."

Madison looked around and then saw two bully fish playing keep away with a hermit crab's shell.

"Come on you guys stop that! Give it gave!"

She didn't like that at all as she swam towards them. The fishes kept throwing the shell to each other while the hermit crab tried to reach it. But with one last throw, Madison quickly caught it and stared at the bullies.

"Alright, that's enough you two! Go bother some other fish!"

The two didn't say anything and quickly swam away in fright. Madison turned back to face the crab and handed him his shell back.

"Here you go." she spoke in a gentle tone.

"Thank you." the young crab replied as he put the shell back on him and scurried away.

Madison smiled as he watched him go, but then looked around to see where Nemo and Marlin are at, but also notice that some of the fishes were looking at her. Madison swam in her place and smiled sheepishly before making her way over with Marlin and Nemo as they were taking to three parents.

"Excuse me, is this where we meet the teacher?" Marlin questioned as he looked at them.

"Well looks who's out of the anemone." the seahorse spoke.

"Yes. Shocking, I know."

"Marty, right?"

"Marlin." the clownfish corrected.

"Bob." the seahorse introduced.

"Ted." said the flapjack octopus.

"Phil." said the butterfly fish until he realized something as he looked at Marlin. " Hey! You're a clownfish. You're funny, right? Hey, tell us a joke."

"Well, actually, that's a common misconception. Clownfish are no funnier than any other fish." said Marlin.

"Come on, Clowny." said Phil as he grinned.

"Yeah, do something funny." said Ted.

"Yeah!" Bob agreed.

Madison looked at the fish in front of her and shook her head for she knew what was to come.

"All right, I know one joke. There's a mollusk, see? And he walks up to a sea, well he doesn't walk up, he swims up. Well, actually the mollusk isn't moving. He's in one place."

Marlin began to ramble his joke point by point. Madison looked to see the three fathers' smiles slowly turning to frowns, losing interest. Madison shifted her eyes to Nemo, and both awkwardly smiled as Marlin continued.

"And then the sea cucumber, well they I mixed up. There was a mollusk and a sea cucumber. None of them were walking, so forget that I.."

"Sheldon! Get out of Mr. Johanson's yard, now!"

Madison turned around to see the children of the fathers. They were actually playing in a certain area and laughing, until the sand shifted, and the young flapjack octopus let out a shriek as a flat fish popped out. Which that could be Mr. Johanson.

"All right, you kids! Where'd you go? Where'd you go? Where'd you go?" he questioned in a grumpy way as he spins around, searching for them, but the kids were hiding behind him.

"Dad, can I go play too? Can I?" Nemo asked as he looked excited, but Marlin looked worried.

"I would feel better if you go play over on the sponge beds." he pointed.

Madison turned to looked where the sponge beds were. Seeing two parents watching their tiny babies jumping on them. One baby fell off and cried out as the mother cooed her baby. Madison and Nemo turned back to Marlin, giving him a look.

"That's where I would play."

"Really?" Madison questioned.

Suddenly, the young seahorse named Sheldon, the butterfly fish, and the flapjack octopus, came swimming towards their parents, but they came towards Nemo as they were around him.

"What's wrong with his fin?" the octopus name Pearl questioned in curiosity.

"He looks funny!" said the fish name Tad.

With those words, Bob smacked Sheldon's head with head. Madison frowned at him. It was Tad who said that and not him.

"Ow! Hey what'd I do? What'd I do?" the young seahorse questioned as he looked at his dad.

"Be nice, it's his first time at school!

"He was born with it, kids. We call it his lucky fin." said Marlin.

"Daaad..." Nemo muttered as he felt embarrassed.

"See this tentacle?" Pearl pointed as she showed him one of her tentacles, "It's actually shorter than all of my other tentacles, but you can't really tell. Especially when I twirl them like this." she said as she twirls them.

"I'm H2O-intolerant." said Sheldon until he let out a sneeze.

"I'm obnoxious." said Tad.

"We're all different in our own way." said Madison.

The children turned to look at her. Their faces were in awe as they gazed at her. Madison couldn't help but feel flared and blushed.

"Are you a mermaid?" Pearl asked and Madison nod her head with a smile.

"But I thought mermaids were big?" said Sheldon.

"Sandy Plankton mentioned that mermaids are mysterious and special."

"Special alright." she said.

Suddenly, Madison was bombed with more questions from the children until their hearing were caught the sound of singing.

"Oh... Let's name the zones, the zones, the zones. Let's name the zones of the open sea." a voice singed.

Everyone looked up as a white-spotted eagle appeared as he was sailing into the schoolyard.

'Phew! Saved by a ray.' Madison thought to herself as she left a sigh in relief.

"Mr. Ray!" the children shouted in excitement as they were happy to see their teacher coming.

"Come on, Nemo." said Sheldon.

Nemo was about to follow them but Marlin quickly, but gently, pulled him back by the tail.

"You better stay with me." he said as he held close to his son.

Not only Sheldon, Tad, and Pearl came rushing towards the ray, but the rest of the fishes came as well. Except for Nemo.

"There's epilagic, mesopolagic, bathyal, abyssalpelagic, and all the rest are too deep for you and me to see!" the ray sanged, but as he got closer to the school yard, he landed on top of the waiting students. "Huh. I wonder where my class has gone." he acted as he was mocked in concern.

"We're under here!" the children spoke a couple of times as they got out from under the ray.

"h, there you are! Climb aboard, explorers." he said as he allows his students to get on him, but the teacher continued to sing. "Knowledge exploring is, oh, so lyrical, when you think thoughts that are empirical."

Once the kids are on the ray and was ready to go, Marlin, Madison, and Nemo swam up to Mr. Ray, but Nemo stopped them.

"Dad you can go now." he said to him and starts swimming up to the ray.

"Well, hello! Who is this?" Mr. Ray asked as he noticed the small clownfish.

"I'm Nemo."

"Well, Nemo, all new explorers must answer a science question."

"Okay."

"You live in what kind of home?"

"In an anemone-nie. A nemenem-menome-nememen-nenemone." Nemo tried to answer, but the word was hard for him to pronounce.

Madison couldn't help but giggle to herself, thinking this was cute.

"Okay, Okay, don't hurt yourself." the ray said to the young fish, "Welcome aboard, explorers!"

"Just so you know, he's got a little fin." Marlin spoke as he swims up to Mr. Ray. "I find if he's having trouble swimming, let him take a break, ten, fifteen minutes."

"Dad, it's time for you to go now." said Nemo as he spoke to him.

"Don't worry. We're gonna stay together as a group. Okay, class, optical orbits up front." said Mr. Ray as he starts taking off by swimming, "And remember, we keep our supraesophogeal ganglion to ourselves, that means you, Jimmy."

"Oh, man!" the fish name Jimmy complain.

Madison looked to Marlin and back to Mr. Ray and his class, it was there that she decided. Marlin looked to see Madison swimming off to catch Mr. Ray.

"Wait Mr. Ray! Sir!" Madison shouted as she stopped the ray.

"Why hello there tiny mermaid." he said as he looked surprised.

"My name is Madison. If it's not too much trouble for you, do you need an extra help with your class, like a chaperone?" she asked but Mr. Ray wasn't so sure.

"Gee, I don't know? How good are you with kids?" he asked.

"You'd be surprised. I'm good at keeping a close eye on them"

Nemo looked up at her in confusion, but Madison just smiled and gave him a wink, knowing they will talk later.

"Well, if you're willing to help me with my class, I welcome you aboard! No class please show Madison our respect for today."

Madison smiled and waved her hand to the children before holding onto Mr. Ray. She figures that it would help Marlin that if she could be a chaperone and keep an eye on Nemo, just to help easy his nerves.

"Bye Nemo!" Marlin shouted.

"Bye Dad!" the young clownfish replied.

"Bye Son! And remember to listen to Madison!"

"Don't worry Marlin, I'll keep a sharp eye on him!" she hollered to him.

As Madison looked straight as she kept holding onto the ray, she listened to every child chattering and laughing, Mr. Ray continued singing, but also watching Nemo. She hoped that if she stayed close to him, there won't any trouble. But also hoping that she'll try stopping the children from going to where they be going in the movie.
