Hello, I just want to say that I'm not abandoning my other stories, just going through a drought of ideas, this came to my mind so I'm making it, no it's not an Undertale crossover, it is a Naruto story with the Undertale power of Determination, so he will be able to, one save and reset, but his saving isn't as good as the saving in Undertale, with him auto saving whenever he sleeps, but other than that he won't gain the ability to save whenever he wants for a while, two his second ability is invulnerability, if he dies, his soul splits, it simply puts itself back together, he refuses to die, so yeah this Naruto will be op as in he can't die but, I'll get around that little problem to make some hopefully good fights.
I obviously do not own Naruto, this message is for the one idiot for thought I did, Aiden Jimouski, yeah that right I'm watching you.
Without further ado let's start this story shant we?
Chapter one. A Determined soul.
It is the day our lovely story starts, the tenth of October five years after the Kyubi's attack, the villagers are celebrating the defeat of that awful beast, by hunting down and trying to murder a child? What in the world is wrong with them? I suppose we should get to the hero of this tale Naruto Uzumaki, shant we?
It was a cold and dreadful night, Naruto was running, his arm was dripping blood, he was cut by a kunai thrown by a Shinobi chasing him, he'd heard them talking about finally putting the 'demon' in its place, then that tried to hunt him as they always did, on this day but this time it was different, he hadn't felt that strange dog masked man watching over him, it was a different strange ox masked man with a weird malicious feeling about him.
And unlike the Dog masked man, this Ox masked man wasn't protecting him, he was just watching him, keeping him from escaping the angry mob.
And as he looked up from the mob on his tail he realized he had made a mistake, looking up at the alleyway he'd ran into he saw his mistake, he'd ran into a dead end, it seemed like this would be a dead end for him too.
He heard they're screams of violence and hatred, screams that he was a demon, a monster, and he realized that there was no getting out of this, but he wouldn't go down quietly, he was determined, he would not die.
He felt his bones crack and snap, his veins pop and burst, his arteries breaking flooding his body with blood, he felt kunai, shurikens and senbon pierce his skin, and he felt the killing blow, the Ox masked Shinobi thrusting a sword through his chest, through his skin blood going everywhere, snapping one of his ribs, and finally piercing his heart and going right through the other side.
Deep inside the seal on Naruto's chest the Kyubi Kurama growled, oh how he hated this seal, it was made in such a way that if Naruto died then he would die, for a long time at least, but if Naruto lived he might reform quicker, and even if Naruto died he would reform, even if it took half a century or more, yes this would work, he sat down in the bloody sewer this brats mind became, seriously if he wasn't a child the Kyubi would have presumed that he constantly had his mind in the gutter.
On the outside the deranged mob of villagers saw a red heart shaped object, that all the Shinobi recognized as a soul, and the red soul looked like it was going to split then shatter, and they could see it split, it was about to shatter, but…
It. Refused. To. Die.
The soul pieced itself back together before flying back into Naruto's body, and a miracle happened, he got up pulling the sword out of his heart with only a small flinch.
And it was at this point when the Anbu guard shift was to occur, and when Weasel appeared he looked furious, and within seconds the entire mob was defeated and captured.
Weasel went over to Naruto to check him for injuries, it was extremely odd, whilst Naruto had an immense amount of injuries, but he was fine, Weasel decided to take Naruto to the hospital and without a word he summoned a crow and gave it a message alongside a prisoner scroll containing everyone who was apart of the mob that attacked Naruto.
Once he got Naruto to the hospital it only took two death threats, and threatening to skin them all alive for them to treat the boy.
After a few minutes the Hokage arrived and asked about the boy.
"Weasel, report!" The Hokage ordered.
"It was a mob of villagers, Civilians mostly but a few Ninja and his Anbu guard joined them. They cornered him in an alleyway with no escape, they heavily injured him, bruises ,broken ribs, burst blood vessels, some deep cuts, and a sword would straight through his heart." Weasel relayed.
The Hogake grimaced before asking a question needing to confirm something.
"How did he survive?" It was a good question, even he couldn't survive such a wound, hell he didn't think even his traitorous student who had gone so far down the path of immortality to no longer be human.
"I don't know Hokage Sama, when I arrived it was when he pulled the blade out of his chest." Weasel admitted.
"Then I need to ask him when he awakes, Weasel I need you to organize a meeting with the council for me, get every member, I'm finished letting those fools rule my village." The Hokage barked out with a fire in his eyes that reminded all who saw it that this man was the God of Shinobi.
"Affirmative Hokage Sama." Weasel confirmed.
Suddenly a thought hit the Hokage and he had to ask Weasel before he left on his mission.
"Weasel, how did they knock him out, his demon would neutralize all sleeping poisons, and it sounds like that undying ability would make him resilient to being knocked out by physical means, so how did you knock him out?" The Hokage wondered.
"I put him under a genjutsu." Was Weasel's response.
"Ah I see." The Hokage responded.
After that Weasel jumped out the window to start on his mission.
After about thirty minutes Naruto awoke, finding that he was in one of the hospital beds, and that the Hokage was watching him looking quite serious for once.
"Old man? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked curiously.
Whilst many would be shocked at the Informality Naruto used to refer to the Hokage, The Hokage however was not, whilst he'd never let anyone know (lest he encourage the boy) but he actually liked the boy calling him that, he did get tired of people calling him Hokage Sama all the time, he did like the occasional change in tones, besides the boy was young, there was no need for five year old children to call him by his titles.
Smiling at the boy he greeted him, "Hello Naruto, I came here to check up on you after what those… villagers did."
Naruto thought for a second before saying, "I feel sore, my chest hurts." he pointed at the area where it hurt, it was around where his heart was.
"Yes I see, your injuries were quite extreme, I came here to make sure you were alright, and ask you what happened." The Hokage said.
"Well I was watching one of chunins training on one of the the training grounds, when I was suddenly spotted by a few Civilians who started chasing me, then a couple genin and a chunin or two joined them, then that Ox masked Shinobi stopped me from getting away from that mob, and then they cornered me in an alley that lead into a dead end, and then they started beating me, and stabbing me, and throwing weapons at me, then that Ox masked one stabbed me through the heart, and I felt like I was going to die, but, but I refused to die." He spilled out very fast, had the old man not had a lot of experience talking to people who blab on and on, he might've missed some of it.
The Hokage took all the information in, it wasn't much more than he already knew, but there was something that caught him by surprise.
"You, Refused to die?" He asked, confused, he knew it was impossible for even a Jinchuriki could survive that, without some outside power, but someone being able to simply refuse to die by shire willpower, was unheard of, he was certain he'd misheard something, and so he repeated what he had heard.
He hadn't misheard.
"Yea, I refused to die, I just felt so determined to live, to not die, to survive, I just felt so determined to live, that I just didn't die, I refused." Naruto said quite confused.
To say the Hokage was flabbergasted would be an understatement, he had never heard of something like that before, but he could see on the young boys face that he wasn't lying, but he didn't know what it could be that caused Naruto to live, but no matter he had made sure he was fine, and he'd gotten Naruto's perspective, and he had a meeting to get to, so he'd have to get going soon.
"Naruto I think you should stay here for a checkup whilst I go and get some work done, I wish you a speedy recovery." The elderly Hokage said before vanishing.
Meanwhile with the council, the civilian council was extremely hopeful for this emergency meeting, they'd heard that he'd been injured by a mob, they hoped that he was going to announce that he was dead, the more powerful Shinobi council was split on the matter, the Uchiha clan was much the same as the civilian council, which made sense do to how much sway they had with the civilian council.
The Hyuga clan was cautious, they had been on the edge for a while, especially with the clan head's wife (Hitomi Hyuga) having just died from poisoning, they would stay cautious and try to use this to gain an advantage.
The Aburame clan was reserved as always, they would stay their hand, and try to gain an advantage from whatever chaos that would occur during this meeting.
The Kurama clan didn't have much of an opinion on this meeting, nothing much had happened with them for a while, they were waiting to see the outcome of it, and they hoped and believed that the Civilian council would get knocked of the high horse they'd been sitting on since the fourth Hokage died, with all the power they'd stolen, they really needed to get taken down a peg or ten.
The Inuzuka clan was anxious to tear the civilian council in two, many of their clan members had been denied entry into many buildings, apparently it wasn't good business to have people who smell like dogs in your place of business, in fact if they hadn't smelled that the Hokage was going to do something about that damn council today, then they would have.
The Fūma clan was just trying to survive, the clan was predicted to go extinct within years, as the head and only living member after the Kyubi's attack was infertile.
The Hatake clan was trying to get through this meeting without anything insane happening, although he was expecting the civilian council to get taken down a peg.
The Sarutobi clan was just some extra votes for the Hokage.
The Senju clan was not available for this meeting.
The Shimura clan was waiting to see what would be the most useful action he could take, (it is known that Danzo Shimura has no children and was deemed infertile after being hit with a poison during the second Shinobi war).
The Yamanaka clan was keeping track of the other council member's attitudes, he was trying to ensure the downfall of the civilian council and its stolen power.
The Nara clan was reserved and watching the others to make a plan to ensure the victory of his three way alliance.
The Akimichi clan was making sure to distract the members of the civilian council and the Uchiha head, to make sure they didn't have enough time to strategize and consolidate their votes.
No other clan seats were active.
The Civilian council has 35 votes in mixed matters brought to the council.
The Shinobi council has 45 votes in mixed matters brought to the council.
The Hokage has 20 votes when matters are brought to the council.
(It is noted that if the matter is of a strictly civilian matter that is not enforced by Shinobi forces, and does not include the breaking of any laws, or decrees, is under the purview of the civilian council, but if the Hokage wishes they may bring it to the council as a mixed matter.)
(It is noted that in any matters that do not meet the criteria stated in the previous note, and the Hokage, Jonin Commander, and Anbu Commander, then the Shinobi council is the highest authority on all matters and is in control of the village.)
(It is noted that the points divided between the different members of the Shinobi council, are decided by clan population, and that once a clan joins the council it cannot be removed from the clan until it is declared extinct or by a majority of eighty percent of the Shinobi council voting for it.)
(There are 35 members of the civilian council each of them getting one vote.)

The tension in the large room was immeasurable, many people wanted to leave but no one would, no one would risk angering the Hokage, he'd been in a rather sour mood lately.
But finally the legend of a man arrived, and. He. Looked. Pissed.
The man glared before sitting in the large chair at the end of the table, many were glad he didn't make anyone sit on the opposite side from him, aside from the large window being on that side, it was known that sitting on that side was practically a death sentence, although many of the Shinobi noticed that the entire civilian council was sitting closer to the window than any Shinobi, the next closest was Fugaku Uchiha.
It was at this point when Shikaku Nara figured out what the Hokage had planned, it was intimidation, plain and simple. He had some solid evidence that the Civilian council had done something illegal, or had taken some power that he intended to take back.
"It comes to me that the Shinobi Academy program was put in control of the Civilian council after the fourth Hokage's death, I have decided to revoke this decision and give control of the Shinobi Academy program back to the Shinobi council, one of the reasons for this is due to the decreasing graduation results of the program." the Third Hokage said in a tone that demanded respect and gave no room for arguing.
That confirmed it for Shikaku Nara, with a smirk on his face he kept watching, and providing subtle questions to stop the civilians from interrupting and getting their shoes bloody. He was glad that this was going to be a relatively short night, compared to other council meetings at least.

Hello I think that's the end of the first chapter, there's not going to be a large amount of content for Naruto being five, this isn't a story like Naruto Hatake, or Legacy which have reasons for having tens of those of words whilst the kids are around five, this story does not, there will probably only be three or four chapters at most for this version of kid Naruto.
