POETRY

Shadows dance upon the blighted land,
Foul flames belch smoke and choke the sky,
A river black spreads sludge and fouls the sand,
Thunder smites rock with a fulminous cry.

Monsters creep in the eternal night,
Silent butchers that kill all on sight,
They burrow and swim, glide and crawl,
In their heinous quest to slaughter all.

No sun shall rise to smite shadows away,
No rain shall quench the devouring flame,
No spring shall cleanse the tar river's bay,
No hero shall end the monster's cruel game,

And yet, upon this wretched blighted ground,
Blooms a single flower that I have found.

- Hope Amidst Darkness by Tokoyami, scratched out.

Dress me in dandelion yellow and frilly pink,
Spread enough glitter to make Aoyama blink,
Add dazzling white lace
And makeup for my face,
And I'll give you all a kiss and a wink.

- I Like Pink by Tokoyami? He's too busy strangling Dark Shadow to tell me if he wants this to be his poem or not, so I'm counting it.

This is a haiku
Syllables five seven five
By Kaminari

- Haiku, by Kaminari. The only reason I'm passing this is because it technically meets the requirements.

Protein powder and tofu shakes,
Raw egg smoothies and crab cakes,
Crunching kale and collard greens,
Cashews, almonds, and refried beans,

This is the life of a protein man!
Get those gains, you protein man!

Pumping iron and hefting steel!
Running laps until you can feel
Fire in your lungs and aching feet,
Every breath of air is bittersweet.

This is the life of a protein man!
Get those gains, you protein man!

Get two tickets to the new gun show!
Bench press your way to the front row.
Never once skipped a single leg day,
And now those legs carry you all the way.

You're livin' the life of a protein man!
Got those gains, you're a protein man!

- Protein Man, sung very passionately by Kirishima. My jam pouches turned into protein shakes and I am fighting the urge to expel him immediately.

Eyes everywhere
Watching lurking
Plotting waiting
It's too late to run

They're in your homes
Your hospitals and schools
They've stolen the courts
And made all the rules

They're given to children
and told that they're fun,
One pull of the trigger
and they're all gone.

Yet hope lives on
so long as someone fights,
and I, Katuski Bakugo,
I am the night.

- Wake Up Sheeple the Robots Are, by Bakugo.

I was asked to write a poem,
Which are a group of lines that rhyme,
So I used a word generator
And completed the assignment on time.

Roses are red is a popular line,
Lots of other poems use it too.
It seems very unoriginal,
But according to Iida, that's fine.

Violets are blue and sugar is sweet,
Says the words of autocomplete,
And you are too ends the generic poem
This last rhyme is overheating my modem.

- Poem by Midoriya, five seconds before his head exploded

Had way too much fun singing out Kirishima's lines.
