In our last chapter, Usagi and her friends came over to Mario's home universe to hang out with the Mario Bros. At the same time, Bowser sent four of his half-children, Larry, Lemmy, Iggy and Morton to spy on the Mario Bros. During the spy mission, the 4 learned of the mysterious Silver Crystal, and left to report to their father as soon as possible, having already arrived at the Koopa King's castle.

Bowser was sitting on his throne taking a nap. Larry, Iggy, Lemmy and Morton walked into the throne room.

Larry: We're back, Dad.

Bowser: Back so soon, huh?

Iggy: We've got some pretty good news. And it might surprise you.

Bowser: Oh, really?

Iggy: Well, while we were spying on the Mario Bros., we learned of this mysterious artifact called the Silver Crystal. From what we've heard, the Silver Crystal possesses tremendous power, and it is one of the most powerful items in the whole galaxy.

Bowser was stunned.

Bowser: Powerful, you say?

Iggy: Yep. With this kind of power, you'll be able to take over the Mushroom Kingdom with ease.

Bowser smiled, and laughed evilly.

Bowser: That's the best news I've ever heard! That'll be my ticket to world domination!

Lemmy: You mean, you're gonna use the power of that crystal to become more powerful than ever?

Bowser: Exactly, Lemmy! And once I use the crystal's power, I'll be able to defeat Mario! Kamek! General Bluebolt! Get in here!

Kamek, Bowser's loyal advisor, swooped into the throne room on his broom. As he landed near Bowser, he got off. Also showing up was General Bluebolt, Bowser's main general. Kamek is the Magikoopa on the left, while General Bluebolt is the Koopa Paratroopa on the right with the blue-clad armor, helmet, and spiky shell.

Kamek: What are your orders, your Majesty?

Bowser: Gather all of my Troopas to the Airship Hangar! We're off to retrieve the Silver Crystal! I'm going to use its power and rule over the entire universe!

General Bluebolt: On it, sir!

Kamek: I don't think that's going to be possible to find in the Mushroom Kingdom, sire.

Bowser: Huh? Why ever not, Kamek?

Kamek: Follow me.

Kamek marched off to his library, and Bowser, Larry, Iggy, Lemmy, Morton and General Bluebolt followed behind. Soon enough, they reached the library.

Iggy: Say, Kamek. What was it that you said about the Silver Crystal being impossible to find in the Mushroom Kingdom?

Kamek: You see, the Silver Crystal actually belongs in a universe that's different from ours.

Bowser, Larry, Iggy, Lemmy, Morton and General Bluebolt: WHAAAT?!

Bowser, Larry, Iggy, Lemmy, Morton and General Bluebolt were all in equal shock as they fell backwards. They quickly got back on their feet.

Lemmy: So it turns out to be from another universe….

Larry: HOW WAS I TO KNOW THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE?! IT'S NOT MY FAULT I DIDN'T FIND OUT!

Morton: How is this universe different?

Kamek: This universe is protected by a group of elemental guardians. From what I can see through my crystal ball, these guardians appear to be wearing sailor suits.

Iggy: Elemental guardians? Sailor suits? That's pure nonsense! *laugh*

Bowser: Enough, Iggy.

Iggy: Sorry, Dad.

Bowser: You may continue, Kamek.

Kamek: Thank you, sire. As I was saying, these guardians protect their home against evil forces. They call themselves Sailor Guardians.

Lemmy: Oh, so it's like these action manga of sorts!

Bowser: This seems pretty interesting. But, how are we going to find access to this universe?

Larry: Oh, Dad. I forgot to mention. I think I saw a Warp Pipe near Peach's castle while me and the others were spying on the Mario Bros.. Apparently, a group of teenage girls came out of the pipe. As far as I know, the girl with the buns is called Usagi, the blue-haired girl is called Ami, the black-haired one is called Rei, the redhead is called Makoto, and the one with the bow is called Minako.

Bowser: Anything else?

Larry: Apparently, Usagi is the one guarding that crystal. I saw her tell the Mario Bros. about it.

Bowser: I see. Very well, then. Hal! Jeff! Come here!

Hal and Jeff, Bowser's most-trusted spies, walked into the library.

Hal: You called us, Bowser sir?

Jeff: Is there a new mission on hand?

Bowser: Hal, Jeff, I want you two to get the Silver Crystal tomorrow night. Is that understood?

Hal: Yes, sir.

Kamek: Before you do, I will show you where to go.

Kamek focused on his crystal ball as a projection of a house displayed within.

Kamek: You see this house? This is the place where Usagi lives. You will go there, sneak inside, and get that crystal.

Hal: Got it.

The following night, Hal and Jeff walked off to the Mushroom Kingdom straight to the Warp Pipe leading to the Sailor Moon universe. The two stepped into the pipe as they traveled through it and out the other side. As they jumped off, a look of awe spread across his face.

Hal: Holy…

Jeff: toledo…

Hal and Jeff couldn't help but admire the beautiful scenery surrounding them. Skyscrapers, apartments, shops and complexes filled the bustling streets, and dozens upon dozens of people flocked all over.

Hal: This place… it's amazing….. No matter. We've got a mission to tend to.

Jeff: Let's go.

Soon after, Hal and Jeff arrived at Usagi's house. It was quiet. Hal and Jeff carefully scaled up the walls leading to Usagi's room window. Hal then carefully cracked the window open, and he and Jeff slowly stepped inside. Hal turned to see Usagi and Luna sleeping soundly.

Hal (in a soft tone): We better keep quiet. We don't wanna wake up anyone. If they catch us, we're screwed.

Jeff (in a soft tone): Right.

As Hal and Jeff turned, they crept up to the small table where Usagi had left her brooch. Hal paused as he carefully reached for the brooch and opened it up. Inside the brooch was the Silver Crystal.

Hal (in a quiet and sneaky tone): Aw, yeah! Come to Papa!

Hal carefully removed the crystal from its embedding spot and took out a small pouch. As he was about to put the crystal in the pouch, Usagi turned over while sleeping

Usagi: *moan*

Hal and Jeff froze as Usagi slowly opened her eyes. The two looked at each other

Hal: Whatever you do… don't move a muscle!

Usagi: W-what's going on?...

Suddenly, Usagi's eyes shot open as the blonde-haired girl saw Hal and Jeff in her room. Usagi noticed Hal holding the Silver Crystal.

Jeff: Aw, crap! RUN!

Hal and Jeff made a run for it as they leapt out of the window and onto the ground.

Usagi: Hey! Stop! Thief!

Luna: Wha?! What's happening?!

Usagi: Somebody's stealing the Silver Crystal! We have to stop the thieves!

Usagi rushed to get dressed and ran downstairs. As she ran outside, she saw Hal and Jeff running away.

Usagi: Come back here!

Usagi chased Hal and Jeff through the streets of Azabu-Juban. As Hal and Jeff continued to run, they outran Usagi, who had a tough time catching up with them. Eventually, they made it back to the Warp Pipe.

Hal: That was a close one…

Jeff: At least we got the crystal. Let's head back.

Hal and Jeff went into the Warp Pipe as Usagi finally caught up with them.

Usagi: Damn… we lost them!

Luna: Don't worry, Usagi. We'll catch them tomorrow. Right now, it's getting too late.

Usagi: Yeah… I guess you're right… Maybe we should go to Mario and Luigi for help. I'm sure they'll know what to do.

Hal and Jeff exited through the other side of the Warp Pipe. They left the Mushroom Kingdom and returned to Bowser's castle. The two eventually made their way to Bowser's throne room. Bowser was waiting.

Hal and Jeff: We're back, sir!

Bowser: So, did you get the Silver Crystal yet?

Hal: Yes, we did, sir. It's right in here.

Hal reached for his pouch as he took it in his hand, opened it, and showed the Silver Crystal to Bowser.

Bowser: That's excellent! And now, onto Phase 2: Kidnap the princess and exterminate Mario once and for all! *evil laugh*

The next morning, Usagi told her friends what had happened.

Minako: What?! The Silver Crystal was stolen?!

Usagi: Yes! Some jerks broke into my house last night and took it!

Minako: Not again…

Makoto: What did the crooks look like?

Usagi: Let's see…. the first one was an orange-yellow bipedal turtle in green boots, and the other was a sentient brown mushroom.

Ami: Orange-yellow bipedal turtle…. Sentient brown mushroom….

Rei: This sounds like something that would come from…

Usagi: Of course! They must have came from Mario's home universe!

Ami: Perhaps we should go to Mario for help. I'm sure he'll be able to help us.

The others nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, back at Bowser's castle, Kamek and General Bluebolt were awaiting orders from Bowser.

Kamek: What are your orders, your majesty?

Bowser: Gather all of my troops to the Airship Hangar! We're heading out to initiate phase 2 of my plan!

Kamek: Yes, Your Majesty! We're on it!

Kamek and General Bluebolt headed into the Airship Hangar. Bowser turned to Junior and the Koopalings.

Bowser: Come along, Junior! We've got a plumber to squash! And I'll be providing backup as well.

Larry: Backup you say, Dad?

Bowser: You bet, Larry.

Junior and the Koopalings turned as they saw a large mouse with sunglasses, gloves and boots, a blue three-headed snake, a sentient flame with a phantom mask, and a giant Huckit Crab set foot into the throne room.

Bowser: Mouser, Tryclyde, Fryguy, and Clawgrip. You four will assist Junior and the Koopalings.

Mouser: Yes, sir!

Bowser, Hal, and Jeff walked off into the Airship Hangar as Junior, the Koopalings, Mouser, Tryclyde, Fryguy and Clawgrip followed them. Kamek hovered by as General Bluebolt swooped down on his feet.

General Bluebolt: ATTENTION, KOOPA ARMY! ALL HANDS ON DECK!

Bowser's troops gathered together as Bowser walked up to General Bluebolt and Kamek.

General Bluebolt: It's all yours, sir.

General Bluebolt walked beside Bowser and stood aside him.

Bowser: Bowser Baddies… BEHOLD! After several weeks of waiting, I, King Bowser, have come up with the greatest world domination scheme! And there's no way Mario and Green 'Stache will ruin this one! We're all heading out to the Grasslands to kidnap the princess and destroy Mario once and for all! Those pesky plumbers have heard tales about a powerful artifact called the Silver Crystal. And I've finally got it!

Bowser reached into his shell and showed the Silver Crystal to his troops.

Bowser: With the power of that crystal, I will become stronger than ever! ARE YOU READY FOR WORLD DOMINATION, GREAT KOOPA ARMY?

Koopa Troop: Yeeeeaaaaaaaah!

Bowser: THEN SHAKE YOUR TAILS AND TAKE YOUR AIRSHIPS TO THE SKY! WE'RE LEAVING NOW!

Bowser's troops headed to their airships and got onboard. Junior, the Koopalings, Mouser, Tryclyde, Fryguy, and Clawgrip headed to their designated airships, while Bowser, Kamek, General Bluebolt, Hal, and Jeff boarded Bowser's airship. The propellers on the airships powered up as the entire fleet began to take off. As the airships hovered out of the hangar, they headed straight for the Mushroom Kingdom. As Bowser stood on the deck of his airship, he gave an evil grin.
