Clooney-Ch 2
Jasmine smiled as Clooney got closer and closer to them, the boy said, "easyyyyy boy, easyyyyy, you don't want to hurt me, easyyyyyy", Clooney's growl got more fierce by the second the closer he got to Jasmine and the boy who was attempting to hurt her, Jasmine knowing that this was her chance to slip away stomped the mans toes and elbowed him in the stomach.
She then pulled to the side and said, "get him Clooneyyyyyy", Clooney took a quick look at her to make sure that she was alright before jumping on the man, thus, taking him down to the ground where he bit and scratched the man until somebody from across the street heard the ruckus and called the police.
What Jasmine didn't know was that the same neighbor had called Fran and she soon arrived on the scene and the sight she saw was her now in complete shock granddaughter holding Clooney in her arms rocking back and forth as tears streamed down her face.
Fran got down beside her and said, "it's okay honey, it's okay", Jazzy slowly looked up at her grandmother and said, "nana I was so scared, I was almost home, I was almost home", Fran wrapped her arms around the crying girl and said, "it's okay honey, I'm here, I'm here", Clooney stayed in Jasmines lap with his head on her chest making sure that she was safe.
When Fran had arrived the man that attacked her granddaughter was being attended to by the paramedics and he had bite marks all over his face, neck, arms and chest with bad scratch marks all over his body from where Clooney had been protecting Jasmine, Fran said, "it looks like Clooney did a good job of protecting you".
She nodded her head and said, "I don't know what would have happened to me if he hadn't heard me nanna, I really don't", Fran said, "well I'm glad that he was here and was able to stop anything bad from happening to you honey", she said, "do momma and daddy know?", she nodded her head and said, "yeah, I called them on the way over, they should be here soon, they were a few minutes from landing".
Jasmine nodded her head and said, "I was on my way home from the store, I was going to fix supper for everybody when, when", Fran said, "it's okay honey, don't worry about dinner, everything's fine, everything's fine", it was only a couple of minutes later when Jasmine heard her Penelope's voice calling her name.
Fran released her granddaughter and Clooney got up from her lap so that she could run into the loving arms of her mother, Penelope said, "ohhhh baby, it's alright, it's alright", Derek walked over and wrapped his arms around his wife and daughter and said, "I'm so glad that you're safe baby girl".
Jasmine looked up and said, "I'm sorry daddy", he said, "oh honey, you've got nothing to be sorry for", Jasmine looked up to see the rest of her family, including her brother and sisters standing around her, she smiled weakly and said, "I was almost home, almost home".
Penelope kissed the top of her daughters' head and said, "it's okay, we're here and we've got you, we've got you" as her daughter continued to break down in her mother's arms at what had happened to her earlier.
