The Shrouded Ruins
Somewhere in the Crimson Mirelands, Lynn, Lincoln and his Pokemon, Lucy, Lana who was riding on Ursaluna, and Lisa who was riding her Stantler, were continuing their search for the place where the frenzied Lady Lilligant resided.
"How are we supposed to know where to go?" asked Lynn.
"Wish we'd asked Warden Calaba or Arezu if they knew where to go." said Lincoln.
"Let's just keep looking around." said Lynn. "We might get lucky and find the place ourselves." Lincoln suddenly felt a little upset.
"What's wrong, Lincoln?" asked Lana.
"I don't know why, but the word 'luck' makes me feel a bit uneasy." said Lincoln.
"How come?" asked Lana.
"Wish I could remember." said Lincoln. "Forget it; let's just keep looking around."
The group find a path that splits into two directions; Lana hops off Ursaluna, grabs a stick off the ground and tosses it up.
"What are you doing?" asked Lynn.
"Whatever direction the stick is pointing towards when it lands, we'll go that way." said Lana.
"Well I guess it's worth a try." said Lincoln. The stick soon lands on the ground, with it pointing towards the northern route.
"Let's go!" said Lana as she gets back on Ursaluna and rides off down the path with her siblings following after her.
Meanwhile, back in Jubilife Village, Luna just arrived and headed towards Galaxy Hall.
"Hi, Luna!" said Luan, getting Luna's attention.
"How are you doing here, sis?" Luna asked her sister.
"Just helped someone with a problem." said Luan.
"Yeah, I gotta help someone also; need to pick up some medicine for some Psyducks." said Luna.
"Okay, I won't hold you up." said Luan. The two sisters hug before Luna goes into Galaxy Hall.
Back in the Crimson Mirelands, the Loud siblings that were still there make their way to a northern part of it; they soon came across some wild Rhyhorns that tried charging at them.
"I got this." said Lynn as she pulls out a pokeball and throws it, releasing her Machop. "Okay, Machop, use Mach Punch!" Machop charges at a Rhyhorn while his fist glowed light blue and he punches the Rhyhorn, dealing super effective damage. Another Rhyhorn charges at Machop from behind and rams him, damaging him.
"Oh; attacking a Pokemon from behind, huh?!" exclaimed Lynn. "Machop, use Bulk Up!" Machop flexes his arms and his body bulks up. The Rhyhorn charges at Machop. "Machop, Rock Smash!" Machop raises a hand that glowed white and he smashes it onto the charging Rhyhorn's head, dealing super effective damage. Another Rhyhorn charges at Machop while its front foot glowed white and it smashes it onto Machop, damaging him.
"Machop, Bullet Punch!" said Lynn. Machop repeatedly punches the Rhyhorn with his fists, dealing super effective damage to it and knocking it to the ground. The Rhyhorns get up and run away.
"Nice one, Lynn." said Lincoln.
"Way to go, Machop." Lynn says to Machop; it nods in response and he begins to glow.
"Hey; Machop's evolving!" said Lana. Everyone watched as Machop began to glow; when the glowing stopped, Machop now had a muscluar build, he had red lines going down his arms, and he was wearing black briefs and a championship belt.
"Wow! What's Machop now?" asked Lynn.
"I believe your Machop has evolved into a Machoke." replied Lisa.
"Nice." replied Lynn.
"Let's keep going." said Lincoln.
The group keep making their way north until they soon see some ruins in the distance.
"What are those?" asked Lana.
"I believe those are ruins." said Lisa.
"I saw some in a southern part of the Crimson Mirelands last night." said Lucy.
"Who do you think built them?" asked Lincoln.
"What did these ruins used to be?" asked Lucy.
"Very interesting questions." said Lisa. "Perhaps if we find the time, we can look into it."
"I wonder if these ones are haunted." said Lucy with interest.
"Possibly by ghost Pokemon." said Lisa.
"Why are you so interested if a place is haunted?" asked Lynn.
"I can't remember." said Lucy with despair, making the rest of her siblings look sad.
"But we have some of our memories back." said Lana.
"Maybe if we help Lady Lillgant, we'll get more memories back." said Lincoln.
"Let's explore this area for a while." said Lisa. Before they could go any further, they notice a very large, dark pink Pokemon with a round belly, a long tongue, a curled growth on its head, a biblike design under its chin, and three yellow stripes on the bottom of its belly.
"It reminds me of the Lickitung me and Lisa saw in that weird dome." said Lincoln.
"I believe this a Lickilicky; Lickitung's evolved form." said Lisa.
"Look at its eyes." said Lynn, drawing everyone's attention to the Lickilicky's red glowing eyes.
"It's an Alpha." said Lucy.
"What should we do?" asked Lana.
"I'm not sure how strong it is, so we should avoid it for now." said Lincoln.
"Don't be a wimp." said Lynn. "I'll bet my Machoke can take it on." She lets her Machoke out of his pokeball, getting the Lickilicky's attention.
"I would strongly advise against this, elder sister." said Lisa.
"Machoke, use Mach Punch!" said Lynn. Her Machoke moves quickly at the Alpha Lickilicky and punches it in the chest, barely doing anything; the Lickilicky reacts by charging full force at Machoke and slams into him with explosive force, dealing enough damage to knock him out.
"Don't say we didn't warn you." said Lisa.
"We should get out of here." said Lynn as she returns her Machoke to her pokeball; Lincoln then noticed the Lickilicky looked tired.
"It looks worn out." said Lincoln.
"This would be a perfect opportunity to make a hasty withdrawl from the vicinity." said Lisa.
"Huh?" Lynn replied.
"Run for your lives!" shouts Lisa. Not needing to be told twice, the Loud siblings and Lincoln's Pokemon run from the area.
Meanwhile, back in Jubilife Village, Luna was exiting the Galaxy Hall with a pouch of medicine in her hands.
"Hope this helps those Psyducks." said Luna before she puts the pouch in her satchel.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Lola's voice screams out.
"Lola?!" Luna says as she runs to where her younger sister's store was; when she gets to the spot, she sees Lola hugging a Teddiursa, along with Lily and Lori watching her.
"He's so adorable!" said Lola as she continued to hug the Teddiursa.
"He's called a Teddiursa." said Lori. "Found him in the Crimson Mirelands."
"Hi, Lori." said Luna.
"Hey, Luna." Lori replied.
"Hi, Una." said Lily as she waves at her older sister.
"Hey, Lil." said Luna. "What brings you two back here?"
"Lily had a little adventure involving a bunch of Teddiursas and felt she should come back here to relax for a bit." said Lori.
"Are there more cute Teddiursas where this one came from?" asked Lola with excitement.
"Lots of them." said Lori before she looks at Luna. "Did you get that medicine for the Psyducks?"
"Got it." said Luna as she pats her satchel. "I'm gonna head back to the Crimson Mirelands to deliver it."
"I'm going with you!" said Lola. "I want to catch a Teddiursa for myself!"
"What about your store?" asked Lori.
"I can close it for a day or two." said Lola.
"Fine." said Luna. "Get some supplies for yourself and we'll get going."
"Thank you!" said Lola as she puts a 'CLOSED' sign on her store and heads back to the house she's residing in.
Back at the Crimson Mirelands, Lynn, Lincoln, Lucy, and Lana, were hiding near the ruins they saw after escaping the Alpha Lickilicky.
"I think we lost it." said Lana. Lincoln takes a Revive out of his satchel and hands it to Lynn for her to use on her Machoke.
"Thanks, bro." said Lynn as she lets her Machoke out of her pokeball. While Lynn was reviving her Machoke, a small, white, humanoid Pokemon with a green dome over its head with a red flat horn coming out the front part of it and another coming out of the back of it, was looking at Lincoln; it walks over to him and taps the back of his leg, surprising him.
"What the..." Lincoln said as he turns around and sees the Pokemon.
"A Pokemon." said Lana.
"What is it?" asked Lucy.
"This Pokemon is called a Ralts." said Lisa.
"Hi, little guy." said Lincoln, making the Ralts do a head tilt and smile. A growling was heard from its stomach.
"Must be hungry." said Lana.
"I think I have some Oran Berries on me." said Lincoln as he reaches into his satchel and pulls a few of the blue berries out of it; he hands them to the Ralts, who takes and eats them.
Meanwhile, in a snowy part of the Hisui Region, Irida was travelling east when she puts her hand over her heart.
"Lincoln must be showing kindness to a Pokemon again.' Irida says to herself. 'I hope that bandit stays away from him.'
Back at the ruins, Lincoln was interacting with the Ralts while his sisters watched.
"Ralts seems to like Lincoln." said Lana.
"Well, Lincoln did give it food." said Lynn.
"Wonder if Irida would like the fact that Lincoln did?" asked Lucy with a sort-of-smile.
"What do we do now?" asked Lincoln as he continues to look at the Ralts.
"Let's just keep looking around for where Lady Lilligant is." said Lynn.
"Okay." said Lincoln. As the Loud siblings walk back down the road, they hear something following after them; they look to see the Ralts walking towards them.
"It's that Ralts." said Lucy.
"What does it want?" asked Lana. Ralts walks over to Lincoln and grabs his hand.
"I think it wants to come with Lincoln." said Lisa.
"You want to come along with me, Ralts?" Lincoln asked the Pokemon; Ralts nods in response. Lincoln reaches into his satchel and pulls out an empty pokeball; he gently tosses the pokeball at Ralts, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggled until a firework shoots up from it.
"That was an easy capture." said Lynn. Lincoln then tosses Ralts pokeball and releases it from it.
"What's my new Ralts like, Lisa?" asked Lincoln.
"Your Ralts appears to be male." replied Lisa. "He should also know Confusion, Teleport, Draining Kiss, and Hypnosis."
"Welcome to the group, Ralts." Lincoln says to Ralts; he walks to Lincoln and hugs his leg. "Come on, let's get going." The group continued to travel.
Will the Loud siblings find Lady Lilligant and quell her frenzy? Wait and find out.
