Chapter two, a break of luck.
It was only three weeks since he had both been hospitalised by a mob, and gotten out of the hospital, well the correct term would be kicked out, for some reason the hospital only let him stay the minimum time legally allowed, but he didn't really care about that.
Well not anymore, since he'd gotten his revenge by pranking the houses of all the doctors who had a hand in him being kicked out of the hospital, who knew how much trouble swapping every object in three houses could cause?
And because of that he was in his current predicament, he was cleaning and moving stuff in the Hokage's personal storage area.
Of course there was nothing he could gleam from the items, none of the scrolls had anything legible on it, none of the boxes opened, when he tried an Anbu (Dog) told him that he wasn't to open the boxes, the only objects that didn't have seals on them to protect them were the weapons, and even then it was only the blunt weapons that didn't have some sort of seal protection, with all the piercing and slashing weapons having some sleeves on them.
He was almost done when something, it looked like a piece of paper, a dusty piece of paper that looked like it hadn't been touched in years, over five if he had to guess, but it was his job to clean this place, and he'd cleaned things that were much more disgusting.
Whilst watching the young kid, the Anbu Dog Also known as Kakashi Hatake was shocked, looking at the paper. The seals prevent anyone who didn't already know what was on it from reading it, and an alarm that would go off if anyone aside from the Hokage took something out of it.
Why the hell was Naruto's birth certificate out in the open?
"Still," the Anbu Captain thought, "he shouldn't be able to read it… unless, but there was no way they would use one of those on a birth certificate, especially not when they had died less than an hour after he was born."
When Naruto picked up the dusty piece of paper he saw something odd, his hands were glowing, his left hand was glowing a yellow as bright as the sun, his right hand was glowing a red as vibrant as blood, then suddenly the paper glew an eye burning orange, and a large amount of text appeared, it was a birth certificate, no it wasn't just any birth certificate, it was his birth certificate!

There was some other technical stuff on it, but those two sentences were the most important things on it.
Meanwhile Dog was grateful that he couldn't detect any trace of chakra from the paper, that didn't mean there was nothing happening, it just meant it wasn't likely, he'd have to get another sealing expert to look at it, due to the importance of it the Hokage might call even Jiraiya of the Sannin.
Dog breathed a sigh of relief when Naruto put the paper in one of the folders that had been kept open for him to place things in.
Naruto on the other hand was at first angry, but he quickly realized that it was for his own protection, he knew he had to put it away quickly, if anyone asked he would just say that he was examining it to figure out if there were any letters that he just didn't see, or if it was just blank, but he knew what he had to do, he had recently found a small hideout below his apartment complex, that he was pretty sure had been both secret, and abandoned for over a decade, if not more.
He knew he had to train, and keep his training a secret.
Because if people knew how strong he was they would try to keep him down, or just try to murder him, not like they'd succeed but still he didn't want to be a suspect.
After that he tried to finish as quickly as possible to get back to his home base.
He was quite glad that the Anbu only watched him during the month during and after Kyubi festival, and even then there were not many stupid enough to actually go into the building where he lived.
As he moved a large box he started to plan out his route, "if I go to the library first I'll be watched by Dog till I get home and he'll be able to see what books I get, but if I go home first it'll be difficult to get out without Dog seeing me," he smiled internally before deciding, "yep that means I'll have to ditch him."
He mentally reviewed everything he knew of Dog, first of he had a Sharingan, odd for someone he was eighty percent sure wasn't an Uchiha, Dog wasn't a sensor type, which would be useful for him as avoiding a sensor was very difficult, a powerful sensor would be difficult to get away from, his chakra suppression abilities were barely enough to hide from Iruka Umino for short periods of time, last but certainly not least was that Dog was a seal expert, and with Dog being a seal expert Dog could and did place powerful defensive seals on his door, of anyone tried to attack him in his home they would certainly die, this meant that his Anbu guard would only be active whilst he was out of his apartment, it would also add a tracker to him as soon as he walk out the door, 'once he walked through the door' that was it! All he needed to do was jump out the window, of course it would show that he wasn't there, but even a Sharingan wouldn't be able to find Naruto in a sea of tens of thousands of Naruto's.
He would send a clone to every single building in Konoha, even if he got it on the third try it'd still take him ten minutes after Naruto got there to find him.
Naruto shook his head again "he really needed to stop referring to himself in the third person."
"Gah! He did it again!" Naruto mentally screamed.
"Well no time like the present." He muttered before jumping out his window closing the window with a string he had tied, before going through a few hand signs and moulding his chakra, and then with a large cloud of smoke tens of thousands of near perfect clones appeared, the only thing wrong with them was that their eyes were pure white, but as long as him and all his clones hid their eyes it would be fine.
Every single one of them scattered, with Naruto suppressing his chakra to the level of a normal civilian, and whilst his clones ran off everywhere Naruto managed to make it into a changing room where he pulled out some normal civilian clothes and a black wig, he was going to hide in plain sight.
He made his way to the library about as fast as a determined child running to something, the amused smiles of many of the civilians and a few of the ninjas sent him was proof it had worked.
When he got to the library he went to the section labelled Basic Shinobi knowledge for beginners, it was Shinobi knowledge meant to be used by Academy students and Genin's, sure the knowledge wasn't great, but it was knowledge and knowledge was useful, very useful, they had all the non restricted versions of the clone jutsu, all non restricted d-c rank jutsu, alongside the gatling gun, and mass variations of the elemental bullet jutsu's.
He knew it would be a week or two before the Anbu weren't watching over him, and even then who knew if he'd even be able to get in here without being recognized, and he really didn't want to let up his disguise of being a dumb idiot.
He was taking notes copying down jutsu after jutsu, and after a few hours he had copied down over seventy different jutsu, he had decided to move on to Fuinjutsu, and he got so engrossed in copying down these intriguing seals into his notebook that he accidentally tripped falling into a girl his age.
"Sorry" both him and the girl said at the same time before both getting up at the same time and going to pick up their books and notes.
He saw the girl had seemingly been reading a book on the medic Ninja arts and it looked like she had come from the anatomy and biology sections.
Hinata had been researching science and healing and ways to mix them together, she had come very far in her secret training, sure her clan 'approved' of training… the training of the gentle fist and the gentle fist only, she knew that her cousin Alexander (Alex) had almost been disowned for learning to utilise multiple weapons and ninjutsu, genjutsu and more techniques and styles than the clan allowed, such fools didn't they know that any Hyuga who followed their 'advice' (order) was going to die.
Brushing those thoughts from her mind she went to find a book on medical ninjutsu, maybe there was a way to answer her questions in medical ninjutsu, one of her questions was if the caged bird seal could be removed, and if so how? As she was looking for a book on the topic she finally found one, but right after she found it she felt as if she was hit by a large, slow and furry cannonball.
As she recovered from being knocked to the ground she was mostly worried about her disguise, she was wearing light blue contacts, clothes that resembled what a normal civilian child would wear, and she had her hair in a matching pair of buns.
She was grateful her disguise worked, but was quick to get back to her feet and apologised out of habit whilst hearing the other person's apology, she looked at the one who tripped into her but was shocked at what she saw.
The boy's eyes were cute, she felt a small blush creep onto her face before she tried to hide it.
Naruto had also been trying to keep his disguise on, and had managed to do so whilst getting up off the floor and apologising, he looked at the person he tripped into but was shocked as to what he saw.
The girl's hair was beautiful, it looked like silk and the buns really suited her, he felt his face turn red whilst realising that he was staring at the girl's hair, he tried to hide the blush.
Both the young boy and the young girl had managed to grab their books and notebooks before rushing off blushing heavily.
Neither of them noticed an older 8 year old boy watching both of them.
Alexander, T, Hyuga, was in the library himself looking for more jutsu to add to his repertoire, it didn't matter if they were particularly powerful but low level jutsu were always a good option due to how little chakra they took, well for him they still took a good bit but that was due to his age, it was then he saw the two kids, whilst neither of them could see the others identity he saw them both and he had to admit it was a good disguise, but that didn't change both the fact that he'd been using his Byakugan to help analyse the books and that both of their disguises flew off for a few milliseconds, it wasn't long enough for anyone else to notice, or for the other to notice.
He knew both kids personally.
The Girl, Hinata, K, Hyuga, was his sweet cousin, it seemed that she was taking an interest in science and applying it to the Ninja arts, Alex had no problem with this and would help her hide her talents if she wished him to.
The Boy, Naruto, T, Uzumaki, was a kind child the village picked on and abused, Alex himself had helped protect the brat once or twice by blasting a mob of villagers with his recently learned killing intent, he like almost every Hyuga above the age of seven who had activated the Byakugan knew the boy held the Nine Tailed Demon Fox (or the Kyuubi No Kitsune) In a seal on his stomach, he was glad the boy was taking his training seriously if he wanted it to be secret he'd help him do so.
He'd met Naruto a few weeks ago at the academy, he thought the brat was funny, he was more than willing to befriend the boy, he knew that he'd only have two more years in the academy, if he played his cards right he'd be a chunin a month before his eleventh birthday, perhaps Jonin by twelve or thirteen, a boy could dream, still he decided to help the boy whenever he could, "besides" he thought to himself "the kids fun to hang with."
He looked over at the clock on the wall, "it's eight already, geez it's getting late!" He mused to himself, he looked down at the list of jutsu he copied down, it was a good list, when added to his previously copied jutsu he realised that he'd copied almost every jutsu in the library, aside from the five left in this book he'd copied them all, "I should head back." He muttered "Curfews at nine."
He looked back over to the two kids perusing the anatomy and jutsu aisles respectively, he realised neither of them knew just how late it got, he decided he'd get Naruto to go home first, well he'd tell him that it was late and suggest he go home, he couldn't physically make him go home after all.
Naruto was copying down everything in the book he was reading, he'd have to review it all later just to understand it, then he'd have to learn the jutsu's and then he'd have to practise them and train using them to a reasonable degree, he was brought out of his musings by his senses notifying him of a presence nearby, he recognized this presence, it was one of his very few friends Alex.
"Hello Alex." Naruto said cheerfully, Even though he was in disguise he knew no disguise he could come up with would fool the Byakugan.
"What up Brat." Alex said just as if not even more cheerfully than Naruto had, the 'Brat' comment didn't bother Naruto, Alex had been doing that since he met him and they both knew he didn't mean anything by it, Naruto also responded in kind.
"Nothing much Bastard, how about you?" whilst It could be seen as an insult and a low blow at that due to the fact Alex nether knew his father, Naruto didn't mean it as an insult and certainly wasn't making fun of his friend, and judging by Alex's snort of laughter the joke was well received.
"Ha, doing fine kiddo, but it's getting late you should probably go home." The message was a simple one but effective as it got Naruto to look towards the clock making him realise just how long it had been.
"Shit" was Naruto's only response.
"Well you better get going then, I've got to go find my cousin, I think she's still here." Alex said waving Naruto goodnight.
Alex decided to activate his Byakugan to find Hinata, and was pleased to find that she was still looking at an anatomy book she'd gotten from one of the higher shelves.
Hinata was engrossed in her book, when suddenly she felt a presence right behind her, who would have looked for her here?
"Hello cousin." She heard a voice, a very familiar voice, it was Alex, pale as a ghost, her cousin who was kinder than was good for him, her cousin who was going to give someone a heart attack someday.
"Hello Alex." She said in response, wondering what Alex was here for.
"Hinata it's eight we need to go back to the compound." Whatever she expected it was not that, she went to look at one of the old clocks and discovered that Alex was right, and started to panic, 'how would she get dressed let alone take off those contacts!'
She felt a hand be placed on her shoulder and heard a reassuring voice, "Hinata don't worry about it I'll cover for you, besides your dad's only going to be back at nine, you have enough time."
That reassured her somewhat but the teasing look on her cousin's face made her worry, "so does Little Hinata have a crush on Naruto, or is that a facade as well?" Yep, she realised Alex was never going to let her have peace, of course the extreme blushing was mostly a facade, but Naruto did have very nice eyes.
She found a blush creeping up her face, Alex had seemingly made it his life's goal to embarrass her, but she couldn't begrudge him too much, he only did it out of some twisted version of fun, not malice like most other people of her clan would've.
She playfully punched him in the arm, before going off to get changed, and after she did she walked back with Alex with a large amount of jokes and laughter filling the air.

Hello I just want to update you on how long it will take for an update, whilst I'm not great at schedules I think I can handle once every week or two, of course reviews, follows and favourites motivate me.
I also want to say what stories inspired this, the first of which is The Genius Losers of Konoha, really good story, I'm sad it's discontinued, second is Dark Phoenix of Konoha, also really good I'm also sad it's discontinued, third is Anbu Boot camp, really good story and I will say that all three of these stories inspired large parts of this story, the first two more so than the third.
The fourth is Hinata of the white lotus, the only one of these that isn't discontinued, it only inspired me because I had the idea for this whilst reading it.
Here are the full names of Hinata, Naruto and Alex.
Hinata Kaguya Hyuga, I like to think that Kaguya is a name the Hyuga clan use, no there are not really any connections between Hinata and Kaguya aside from the cannon ones, I might change that later but I don't think I will.
Naruto Tobirama Namikaze, this uses a similar bloodline as Dark Phoenix, with Naruto being Tobirama's great grandson.
Alexander Toneri Hyuga, take a guess at what I have planned, I dare you! (No Toneri's story is not the same as cannon, and no Alex is not Toneri.)
