We finally arrived at the beach where Frank's RV was parked, but we stayed in the truck for a moment. Max glanced at the dead whales on the shore and sighed, "I can't stand seeing them like this." Chloe nodded, adding, "I keep thinking about their families searching for them." I just stared at the whales, unable to find the words.

Chloe then pulled out Nathan's gun and said, "This asshole is going to help us find Rachel." I raised an eyebrow, asking, "What's your plan, Chloe? Are you really going to threaten him?" She shot back, "You didn't seem to mind when you almost shot him." I remembered that moment and felt a wave of relief that the gun had been empty.

"Chloe, Aiden's right. We can't rely on rewinding time," Max interjected. Chloe shrugged, "I know that's why I have this. Who knows? I might save you or Aiden one day." Max smirked, "Finally, some action." Chloe replied sarcastically, "Oh, I'm so going to hit you." We fell silent, listening to the ocean, all lost in our thoughts.

Chloe broke the silence, asking, "Did we ever think this is what we'd be doing as adults?" I chuckled, "Time travel, drugs, and guns? Nope, didn't see that coming." Max chimed in, "I can't wait for our trip to Portland."

I smirked and said, "Let me guess, I'm your driver?" Max shot back, "Not unless you teach me to drive first." I laughed, "You need to get your license first."

"Let Chloe drive then," Max said. "I will if I have to. Girl drives a maniac. But… yeah… Portland. Sounds like a plan. Just the three of us," I said with a smile. "And Rachel…" Chloe added.

"Alright. Let's keep it cool. Let's just talk to Frank and get that code book from him. Let's go," Max said, getting back on topic. "Got it. No dicking around," Chloe said as we started to get out of the truck. "Let's roll," I said to them. We all got out of the truck and started to make our way towards Frank's RV.

Chloe made her way over to the RV but Max seemed hesitant about it. "You alright, Max?" I asked her, seeing that she was walking slowly. "Yeah, it's just a lot right now," she said, rubbing her clothed arm.

"Take it easy, okay? I'll be here to protect you guys, okay?" I told her, taking her hand. "Alright, let's do this," she said, smiling a bit. The two of us made it to Frank's front door, where Chloe was waiting.

When we caught up with her, Chloe knocked on the door. Frank opened the door a few seconds later. He was less than amused to see us. "Oh, look. It's Charlie's Angels. You should've come alone," Frank said to Chloe, stepping out of his RV.

"They're my partners," Chloe clarified. "More like bodyguards. Let's get to business. Where's my fucking money?" he hissed at her. Max and I gave Chloe the okay to give him the money. Chloe took out the envelope and she gave it to him. "Why, thank you. That wasn't so hard, now was it? Let's never do business again," he told us, starting to go inside his RV.

"Let Chloe take the wheel," Max suggested. "I guess I can if needed. She drives like a crazy person, but Portland sounds good. Just the three of us," I replied with a grin. "And Rachel..." Chloe chimed in.

"Okay, let's stay focused. We just need to talk to Frank and get that code book," Max said, steering the conversation back. "Understood. No dicking around," Chloe replied as we climbed out of the truck. "Let's go," I said, and we headed toward Frank's RV.

Chloe walked toward the RV, but Max seemed unsure. "You okay, Max?" I asked, noticing her slow pace. "Yeah, just feeling overwhelmed," she admitted, rubbing her arm.

"Take it easy. I've got your back," I reassured her, holding her hand. "Alright, let's do this," she said, managing a small smile as we reached Frank's door, where Chloe was waiting.

Chloe knocked, and Frank opened the door, looking annoyed. "Oh great, it's Charlie's Angels. You should've come alone," he said, stepping outside.

"They're my partners," Chloe explained. "More like bodyguards. Now, where's my fucking money?" he snapped. Max and I nodded for Chloe to hand it over, and she gave him the envelope. "Thanks. That wasn't too hard, was it? Let's not do this again," he said, turning to go back inside.

"Frank, wait! We need to talk," Chloe called, stopping him. "You've got some serious ladyballs," he said with a fake laugh. Max and Chloe looked away, but I kept my gaze on Frank, and their reactions seemed to make him reconsider.

Max said to Frank, "I know I'm bothering you, but this is really important." Frank sighed and replied, "Sure, everything's important now. But I can see you're not bullshitting me."

Max insisted, "We don't have time for games, Frank. I just need some info." Frank shot back, "It always starts small, right? Just ask Chloe and Aiden." I frowned at his comment and said, "Frank, this isn't about us."

Frank seemed frustrated and said, "You're giving me a headache. No deal." I replied, "We didn't come here to argue." He glared at me and retorted, "You come in peace? After you aimed a gun at me and actually fired?"

"Well, if you hadn't held your knife up at Chloe and Max, I wouldn't have to do that," I told him, still pissed that he threatened them with that knife. "You're lucky that's all I had. Otherwise your cousin and girlfriend wouldn't be here bothering me. You oughta get out of here before things get ugly," he said, pissing me off.

"Ugly? You shut your fucking mouth, Frank! I'll show you ugly," I shouted, starting to storm over to him. However, Chloe got between the two of us and pushed me back. "We don't need to fight, okay? Just calm down. Please?" Chloe said, raising her voice.

"Relax!? You really think you can outsmart me? Is it because I'm trailer trash? You're nothing but Blackwell trash!" he shouted, raising his voice dangerously. "Calm down, Frank. Let's just…" Max started but Frank turned on her, grabbing her by the neck. He pushed her back a bit.

"Don't ever tell me what to do! Get it, bitch!?" he shouted at her. My protective instincts kicked in and I pushed him off of her. "Don't fucking touch her again," I said, standing in front of her, glaring at him dangerously.

He pulled the same knife out and charged at Chloe and Max. Now he had intentions of hurting them. I grabbed his wrist and tried to disarm him. "Motherfucker!" I shouted as I tried to get it from him.

However, I felt a sharp sting shooting up my left leg, causing me to yell out in pain. Frank had actually stabbed me in the leg. I stumbled away while I held my bleeding leg, eventually falling to the ground. Then, I heard a gunshot and another yell, but it was from Frank this time. When I looked up, I saw that Chloe had actually shot him in the leg.

"Agh! You shot me! You actually shot me! I wasn't going to hurt you. This fucking hurts!" he shouted in pain. I couldn't stand up from the pain in my leg so Chloe helped me stand up by throwing my arm over her shoulder. "You three are fucking crazy! What do you want?" Frank shouted through the pain in his leg.

"Your account book! Give it to us," I shouted back at him, feeling dizzy from the pain in my leg. "Fine, here! Take it and get the hell out of my life!" he shouted, throwing some paper at us. Max picked it up and we made our way back to the truck.

I had an arm over each of their shoulders to help me walk. I forgot how much being stabbed actaully hurt. "Christ, this hurts like hell," I winced through my teeth. "This isn't the the first time that you've been stabbed," Chloe said through a anxious chuckle.

I couldn't drive the truck so Chloe would have to this time. I get in the middle seat and Max sits in the passenger side. "I think we need to get him to the hospital," Max said to Chloe. "Hell no! I'm not going back there. They're gonna keep me there for god knows how long. Let's go back to Chloe's house and I can get patched up," I said, feeling slightly dizzy from losing blood.

"Normally, I wouldn't listen to that, but we don't have much of an option," Chloe replied, sounding worried. "Let's get out of here," Max said. Chloe then drove out of the beach parking lot and we sped off to her house.
