ProjectIceman: Don't 'lol' at Mirio, bro. That's not manly.

andmon of Wrath: Yes, Celestial Spirits do allied with Rulers against Monarchs. Also, right now, it's Mirio's second year, so he only interned with Nighteye for a year. As for Gang Orca, he's not a host, more like a fused soul between Gang Orca and the previous Ruler, creating a completely new entity. He's Gang Orca and at the same time, he's the Brightest Fragments of Brilliant Light. And for your information, Gang Orca's status has already been established in previous chapters, the moment he uses [Ruler's Authority] , a skill that only Rulers or their host could use.

GhostEist: ..definitely you. Also, for your question, no, not until he got an actual spear. His lance is the one that some people mistake for a sword.

"...how did my life turn into a Power Fantasy Manhwa?"

"Hah! Told ya!"

Mirio sits on a bench next to the three kids he met earlier. In his entire life, he never felt so confused. His internship was just a farce to groom him into someone else, and then a portal leads to a dimension full of monsters. and lastly, magic/skill obtainable by humans. He would call that bullshit if it wasn't for the fact that a chibi anthropomorphic lion and bull floating beside the girl, which he learns her name is Ochako Uraraka.

"Oh, shut it, Ei," Izuku says as he playfully shoves Eijirou, who laughs. " I get it, I get it. You're right, Ei."

"I told you I'm right! Now he's the second person we met that acknowledges it!" Eijirou says as Mirio sweatdrops.

"Don't mind him. He says that if people learn the truth, we'll meet people who claim that this is Power Fantasy Anime." Ochako says with a sweatdrop. "More specifically, the dungeon and magic ones."

"Wait, learn the truth? You mean, this entire thing was hidden from the public!?" Mirio exclaims as they all nod. "Uh, no offense, but how? I mean, this is too big to cover it up."

"Well, remember the incident near the Gale Wind Agency?" Izuku asks as Mirio nods.

"Yeah, I heard a villain with a quirk that allows you to create golems launch a full-scale attack there." Mirio says as Izuku raises his eyebrow, making a gesture that says 'go on'. Mirio looks confused before it clicks. "It's not a villain attack, it's a real monster."

"Yup, and if you're wondering how no citizens declare this publicly, it's because there's a Magic User that allows to manipulate people's memories, making them believe that it's a villain attack," Izuku says. "And for the news and articles, hacking is the only logical explanation."

"H-how did you know about the first one...?" Mirio asks.

"Oh, we fought the one who did it and now he's captured," Izuku admits.

"Should we even tell him that?" Eijirou mutters as Izuku freezes a bit, and cold sweats start to drip from his head. In response, Ifrit emerges from Izuku's shadow, freaking Mirio out.

"Shall I get rid of the witness, my lord?" Igris asks 'nicely,' which causes Mirio to freak out even more.

"Igris, no!" Izuku says in panic. "Sorry, Toogata-san. Igris is...still trying to adjust in human society."

"I...can see that..." Mirio mutters in fear. "I-I promise I won't tell anyone, though! Besides, nobody will ever believe me..."

"...you okay, Toogata-san?" Izuku asks.

"Just call me Mirio," Mirio suggests as Izuku nods.

"Power of Friendship..." Eijirou whispers at Ochako's ear, causing her to spittake and chortle. Igris tilts his head in confusion when he hears that.

"You okay, Mirio-san?' Izuku asks.

"...I had trouble regarding my internship," Mirio says, getting their attention. "You should know me from watching the Sports Festival, being the infamous new meme from last year. Being in the UA hero course, my performance was abysmal compared to others, so you can guess what happened."

"You didn't attract any agencies for an internship," Izuku says as Mirio nods.

"Yeah, until I got last minute offer from Sir Nighteye." Izuku's eyes widen a bit from the information. What are the coincidences? "When I first met him, he told me I have a lot of potential and he'll train me in controlling my quirk. I was happy to see a hero, who's formerly All Might's sidekick, say that and help me with my quirk. Because of him, my performance in the heroic course has improved a lot..." Mirio's expression turns sad.

"... you don't have to continue if you don't want to," Izuku says. "I mean, we just met, so you don't have to tell us everything."

"Thanks for being considerate, but...I want to..." Mirio says. "Earlier, I found out...why Sir Nighteye wants me to intern under him..." Mirio's eyes start to water. "H-he...he wants to turn me into another All Might...he wants me to be the new Symbol of Peace...without even thinking what I want...all this time, h-he didn't see me as Lemillion, but a replacement for his hero! I-I..." Mirio can't help but sob.

Izuku pats his back, while he internally boils in anger. Never in his life would he expect Nighteye to do such things. Turning an innocent student into someone he's not and seeing him as nothing but a replacement? That was beyond wrong.

"T-that's horrible..." Ochako mutters in horror.

"I can't believe such heroes exist," Eijirou says while gritting his teeth.

"..." Izuku didn't say a word, focusing more on Mirio. He can't help but sympathize with him. To not only be seen as a joke for his quirk but be betrayed by someone he has trusted.

"You don't deserve that..." Izuku says. "What Nighteye did to you, you don't deserve it."

"..." Mirio looks at Izuku before wiping his eyes. "T-thank you...sorry for seeing that...I must've looked pathetic, didn't I?"

"No, you have every right to cry. Betrayal is not something people should experience. And don't think crying isn't something a guy should do. That's a toxic mindset. You're a human, and humans are emotional creatures." Izuku says. "And no, you didn't look pathetic. Your reaction is justifiable. If I experience the same thing, I would react the same way."

"T-thanks..." Mirio mutters before chuckling. "To think someone younger than me helps me out..."

"Age is irrelevant when it comes to helping others. Isn't that the same thing for heroes? They help people young and old?" Izuku says as Mirio looks at Izuku in surprise before nodding.

"Y-yeah...I'm thankful and sorry for pouring my heart out..." Mirio says sheepishly.

"Don't be," Izuku says with a smile.

"Power of Friendship..." Eijirou whispers at Ochako's ear as she violently shakes.

"...now what...?" Mirio asks. "I...don't think I could return to Sir Nighteye..." Mirio mutters. The trio cross their arms, deep in thought. Mirio was right, he can't return to Sir Nighteye after everything happens.

"...I'm gonna do something stupid..." Izuku mutters before he pulls out his phone and contacts Gang Orca. "...*click* Gang Orca?"

"G-Gang Orca!?" Mirio exclaims in surprise.

"Yup," Ochako replies.

"We're interns, Mirio-san, under Gang Orca, who is in charge of dealing with the Gates issues," Eijirou says as Mirio dumbly nods.

"...thanks, sorry for the trouble. " Izuku says before hanging up the call. He pulls out a paper and writes down something before giving it to Mirio. "Here you go."

"W-what...?" Mirio looked at the note and saw an address. "Address?"

"Come to that address before 9 AM tomorrow," Izuku says with a grin. "I put some good words for Gang Orca, so your internship will continue under him!" Izuku adds with a thumbs up.

"E-eh?" Mirio looks taken aback. "B-but why? Why goes so far?"

"Well, isn't that what heroes do? Helping someone who needs it?" Izuku asks rhetorically, causing Mirio to gape. "Just go to that address before 9 AM, trust me."

"...t-thank you..." Mirio mutters as he clutches the note in his hand. "Thank you..." Izuku nods as Mirio gets up and walks away. He then stops and to at them once more before he walks off.

"Never change, Izu. Never change." Ochako says as Eijirou nods.

"Master...did you sense it?" Igris asks as Izuku looks at him in confusion.

"Sense what, Igris?" Izuku asks.

"It was faint...but I can sense a tiny ember of mana in his body..." Izuku froze alongside the others.

"W-wait, how!?!? He did say that the dungeon he saw earlier was his first experience!" Izuku says.

"And he wasn't lying," Igris says. "But, an exposure of mana from other sources, like another magic user could also affect others. Human can constantly absorbs mana subconsciously but due to how little the amount it is in this world, it was never enough to grant any humans magic. Magicians like Miss Ochako and Sir Eijirou happen due to absorbing a lot of mana, which can happen when injured badly as mana also increases a human's regenerative capabilities, including when humans are fatigued."

"So, my theory was right..." Izuku mutters. "But, what about Mirio-san?"

"I hypothesize that someone he knew has unlock magic and constantly uses it near him for his training, based on his recent physical condition. The magic users let out excess mana while Sir Mirio, who was exhausted, subconsciously absorbed the excess mana." Igris says.

"...well, fuck." Izuku mutters. "How many people have been exposed to those mana..."

"If what Sir Mirio said is true, then-," Igris says.

"The magic user is someone in Nighteye Agency. More specifically-," Izuku says before flinching. "Sir Nighteye..."

"How can you be so sure...?" Eijirou asks.

"..." Thanks to his enhanced sense, Izuku felt a familiar feeling of mana from the Nighteye agency, which wasn't far from here. He saw Sir Nighteye frantically looking around as he felt more and more mana exudes from him. "It's a feeling..."

Mirio collapses into his bed in exhaustion as he lets out a tired sigh. He picks up the note he receives from Izuku before putting it on his table. He looked at his phone and saw a message from the only friend he ever made.

Mirio can't help but snort in laughter from reading his friend's text. He closes his phone before lying on his bed and closes his eyes. As he does so, he was greet with a very bright light.

"Mirio Toogata," Mirio snaps his eyes open out of shock. Can anyone blame him? Hearing a stranger's voice in his room out of nowhere without any clue what's going on will definitely shocks everyone. "You are chosen to be the new vessel for the Fragments of Brilliant Lights. Will you accepts?"

"...W-What?!?!?" Mirio is completely baffled by this information. Today has been the craziest day in Mirio's life, with bombshell after bombshell dropping on his head like there's no tomorrow, and then this happens. What did he do to deserve this!?!

"Mirio Toogata, to keep it short, this world is in massive danger. Forces are planning to launch massive chaos upon this world. You are chosen to receive the strength to wield the powers to keep this world safe, will you accept it?" The voice explains.

"W-what danger!?! What exactly is going on!?" Mirio asks. "I-I don't understand!"

"A great threat beyond humanity could imagine. If nothing is done, the world you know shall be gone. Accept this power and go seek the Brightest and the Greatest Fragments of Brilliant Light, they shall be your greatest allies." The voice says.

"I...I don't get any of this..." Mirio mutters.

"Please...for the sake of this world." The voice pleads as Mirio looks hesitant. He takes a deep breath before facing the light. Even if he knows nothing about the voice, he can't ignore the fact the world's in danger. He's planning to be a hero, and what hero ignores a plea from someone?

"I...accept."
