Daemon of Wrath: Yes, fun…..as in more shenanigans. True, Melissa will go crazy with magic equipment or even cooler, magi-tech. You'll see about Shoto's and Katsuki's fate in later chapters. As for Melissa's doubt, don't worry about it. There are reasons why I let her meet Izuku in the first place. And I just realized, thanks to another reviewer, that Queresha is Monarch of Plaque, not Poison! But it still fits Mina though. And yes, it's a tragedy for some UA Students to be the host of Monarch. I have to thank the reviewers for giving me these splendid ideas, including you.

AnimeFan13579: About that quote, I agree with that. Too bad that the quote is 2 centuries old in this fic, and over time, it was forgotten. Hence why Melissa has a bit of trouble accepting it (A bit of trouble due to her being more open-minded than the majority of people). And despite how 'magical' quirk can be, it is mostly can still be explained in science (Don't ask me how I have forgotten the majority of science I learned in high school =;) to the point that the majority refuses to accept magic as an excuse. As for Sam part, you can say that thanks to David finally knowing All Might's secret, he gives up on retrieving the device, and if you see the movie, Sam's desire for money and fame from the device made him desperate enough to betray David, what makes you think he won't be desperate enough to bring 'fake' villains into I-Island to steal it? For lack of clearance, Sam will find a way like maybe forcing David or maybe inventing a device to neutralize the security. Sure, Sam may be stupid enough to not see the betrayal coming, but he didn't get to be David's lab assistant by being a book dumb, so yeah, he'll find a way to grab the device for himself.

uchiha-rune: No problem, reader-san. And yes, Ochako has a beef with Nejire. XD

acedragoon: oops, my bad. Thanks for pointing it out. But, in my opinion, Mina's still the best candidate for Queresha.

ProjectIceman: Izuku ain't plan to manslaughter, bro. So, no shadows.

Viruz pirate:….I'm sorry, what?

Whitemare: Oh, I know you'll love the chapter. I mean, you did ask for it. Also, Tetsu's being the Iron Monarch is perfect! As for Melissa, don't worry about it. For your grandparents' idea, that's an 'oof' but not a bad headcanon, gives a good explanation of why Inko's all alone raising Izuku. You won't see Melissa using OFA anytime soon since she's a bit late on her training. As for the EraserNagant pairing, I'll think about it. As for the hero name idea, it's perfect! I hope you don't mind if I use it.

Leon: Sorry if you feel the chapter's a bit short, I've been trying to write a longer chapter, so expect the story to get longer and longer over time.

Kouteikuro: Don't worry about Melissa's self-doubt and insecurity, she's too good to do anything bad. As for Izuku's feelings, no spoilers. I think your solution for Ochako and Nejire is a bit much, I mean the poor girl's gonna get curb-stomped, and you suggest 20 rounds, are you trying to end the girl's career?! Jokes aside, Aldera is in a big shit and you should know how Bakugou reacts to 'extras'. For your P.S.s, no, Eri and Mirio didn't meet each other wasn't because they're both Light Fragments, but it's half the reason. It's more like Mirio is trying to focus himself on getting stronger after becoming the host for the upcoming threat teased in Interlude 9 and given Mirio's canon goal, he took that mission quite seriously. And not to mention, the kids' kept forgetting to introduce Eri to him didn't help. For your upcoming story, I wish you success. And no, I have mentioned before as a reply to AnimeFan13579, but the Harem route is burned to ashes by Izuku himself before it could even start. As for Mina, Eijirou never actually met her given his situation in this fic, financial issues, doing odd jobs, and so on, so he's rarely in school till he had no choice but to quit school to do more odd jobs for his little brother treatment. After being an intern, Izuku decided to offer to tutor Eijirou, so he ended up homeschooled along with Izuku.

Musutafu, Japan

"Thank god it's over…"

Izuku and the rest of his friends can be seen standing on the side, watching as every single student of Aldera who participated in the ambush gets into the prisoner transport bus. When the police received the call from Eijirou, they were at first skeptical of his words. It wasn't until he sent a picture of a pile of Aldera students that they decided to act.

But, before the arrest happens, Izuku is almost arrested upon the police's arrival due to him looking like he's a villain, which is one hell of a misunderstanding that almost makes Izuku snap at them. Thankfully, there's a security camera at the alleyway that manages to prove his innocence, as every damage he causes was from self-defense and given that there are hundreds of people ambushing him, the somewhat excessive damage he inflicts on people was justified, much to Finger's chagrin as he got all of his fingers broken. And since he didn't even use his quirk to do so, he's innocent.

And thanks to the sheer number that joined the ambush, the police had no choice but to bring the prisoner transport bus. Right now, the police are in utter disbelief as they watch more and more Aldera students get into the vehicles. They then look at Izuku, who simply raises his eyebrow at the police. This made every police look away from him, somewhat embarrassed for mistaking the boy as a villain.

"Oh, yeah." Ochako can't help but grumble. "Seriously, they claim you to be a villain even after Eijirou had explained the entire incident as clearly as possible. How did these police officers get their job in the first place again?" Ochako's words were like metaphorical arrows hitting every one of the police right at their heart.

"….I thought the States had worse Police Forces, and somehow, the world unexpectedly surprised me…." Melissa comments, causing another metaphorical arrow to stab through every officer's heart.

"Come on, guys. Don't be too mean…" Eijirou says. "I get it, they did their job horribly." It feels like a brick falls right at their head. "They were dumb enough to not understand everything I said, despite I made sure I dumbed it down." Now, it was replaced by an anvil. "But, no one's perfect! I mean, these people are the proof!" Just like that, a metaphorical building crushes their spirit into smithereens.

"Ei, I think you're the one who should stop…" Izuku states with a sweatdrop. Eijirou realizes what he has just said and rubs his head sheepishly. "Anyways, let's just leave them alone. The police are doing their tasks and we got-!"

"Deku!!" One of the bullies pushes the police officers away and charges at Izuku, startling everyone except for the Trinity. Izuku slams his leg right on the person's skull, smashing him into the concrete and knocking him out. Everyone remains silent as Izuku lets out a sigh.

"Let's hope the juvenile center will be a perfect place for you to rehabilitate…" Izuku mutters before adjusting his shirt collar and walks away, which is followed by the rest of Trinity and Melissa. As they walk away, Melissa can't help but stare at Izuku, her self-doubt, and insecurities slowly grow.

Dagobah Municipal Beach Park

"…..I have to say, I am somewhat surprised by the stuff you all went through…." All Might admits.

"More surprising than a portal appears from the ground and a random guy I just met immediately dives down and somehow, he jumps out of it while holding a giant scissor?" Melissa asks in a dry tone while doing push-ups.

"You know what I mean, Melissa." All Might retorts in a similar dry tone, earning snorts from the Trinity.

The five of them can be seen on the beach doing their workouts. Well, workouts for Melissa. The Trinity is having a three-way brawl with Izuku being the main priority, which isn't easy as Izuku is capable of countering them without any difficulties.

Eijirou is in his therianthrope form (which scared the shit out of Melissa when she saw him for the first time) trying to slash Izuku, which he counters with the scissor blades he obtains earlier before pushing Eijirou's claws away and sidestepped from Ochako's [Flame of Courage] as Izuku sent a flying slash towards her. Ochako moves away before sending ice shards at Izuku, who jumps away as Eijirou receives the brunt of the attack before Izuku uses the scissor blades to bind Eijirou around his neck, before summoning water using the [Essence of the Sea] to counter an incoming fireball, creating a cloud of dust. Izuku summons lightning using [Stormbringer] before shooting it toward Ochako, who uses [Glaciate] to create a crystalized ice wall to shield herself from the lightning.

Without hesitation, Izuku appears right in front of Ochako with [Balmung, Sword of Fate] as he brings the blade down, slicing the wall in half. To his surprise, Ochako thrusts her staff right at Izuku, who barely moves his head away. Meanwhile, Eijirou manages to break free from the bind as he gets the blades off his neck and tosses them towards Izuku like a pair of buzzsaws. Izuku, who notices this, grabs Ochako around her waist, catching her off guard before he spins to dodge the incoming blade. Ochako was too flustered by the move, and didn't see Izuku uses [Dominator's Touch] to pull back the blades. Izuku grabs the blade, and boops her nose teasingly, causing her to be more flustered before Izuku encases her in a crystal of ice. Izuku turned around and saw Eijirou sending wind blades towards him, retaliating with his flying slashes to neutralize it. Neither of them notices that the ice is starting to crack.

Eijirou tries to land a jab, but Izuku blocks it before countering with an elbow strike on his gut, sending him back for a few feet. Eijirou staggers a bit before he regains footing and rushes towards Izuku to deliver more attacks, but to his frustration, Izuku is either able to block it or dodges it. It wasn't until something tries to slam Izuku on his side and send him flying that snaps Eijirou out of his frustration, finally noticing Ochako, who looked a bit miffed. They look at each other and nod before they rush towards Izuku to deliver a powerful blow. But, before they could land a hit, Izuku's body explodes into a sea of slime and wraps around both of them, completely immobilizing them before Izuku reforms his body next to Eijirou with his hand remaining as slime binding both him and Ochako. They try to struggle to escape, but nothing is working so they sigh and concede.

"That's a good match," Izuku says before he lets both of them go.

"I swear, [Polymorph] is just too broken," Eijirou grumbles half-heartedly.

"Yeah, I mean seriously!? You explode into slimes and wrap around us before hardening! How are we able to handle that!?" Ochako complains while pouting as Izuku chuckles sheepishly.

"Well, to be fair, I might forget to use these skills again." Izuku sheepishly admits. "It's not that I try to hold back, but I keep ending up using my most used skills by instincts."

"With that amount of skills in your lists, not even the high number of intelligence stats will make you stop doing that." Ochako points out.

'Huh….now that I think about it, All For One did the same thing when we fought 6 years ago…' All Might can't help but muse before he shudders a bit. 'If he did use more than the quirks he used during our fight……god, I don't want to imagine…' All Might then looks at Melissa, who's too awed at the scene that she's unintentionally stopped her training.

"Melissa, I know their fight is amazing to watch, but please don't get yourself too distracted." All Might says, snapping the girl out of her awe before shaking her head.

"S-sorry…" Melissa apologizes in a somber tone. This catches All Might's attention as his expression turns to concern.

"Is everything all right, Melissa?" All Might asks in concern.

"…..why do you think I deserve One For All?" Melissa asks hesitantly. "U-uncle Might, there are three perfect candidates right in front of you, three people who are worthy enough to wield such power. Three people who had what it takes to wield it responsibly, but why do you choose me? Is it out of pity? Is it because Papa used to be your sidekick? Why me? Why-!?"

"Melissa, stop!" All Might snaps her out of her rambles as she stops before she notices what she has said and her words are heard by the Trinity. They all stop what they're doing and stare at Melissa with wide eyes.

"….oh, no…" Melissa covers her face. "I messed up…."

"…..One For All?" Izuku mutters before looking at All Might, who lowers his head and sighs.

"…..it's the name of my quirk. People know my quirk as some sort of strength quirk or enhancement quirk, but in reality, it's a stockpiling quirk that can be passed down." All Might finally comes clean with the Trinity. "It was originally from the Dawn of Quirk, with its first owner belonging to the younger brother of All For One. Back then, it was a quirk that was only capable of passing down to others and the owner believed that he was quirkless. But, All For One, either out of pity or amusement, gives his brother the stockpiling quirk, without knowing his brother has a quirk. Out of miracle, both quirks fused into one, and it was named One For All."

"Incredible…." Ochako mutters in awe.

"That's one hell of an origin!" Eijirou exclaims in excitement. Izuku, meanwhile, trying to process everything. A quirk exists from during the Dawn of Quirk, and by the timeframe, it was passed down through multiple heroes before it was passed down to All Might, and now Melissa, who seems to know its origin, was chosen to be the successor and becomes worried if she's worthy or not.

"…." Izuku approaches Melissa before he kneels.

"…..I'm not worthy of One For All…." Melissa mutters.

"And why do you believe so? Is it because of your lack of power?" Izuku asks as Melissa looks at Izuku, and before Melissa hesitantly nods at the question, Izuku stops her. "Tell me, do you want to be a hero?"

"Y-yes….it's always been my dream…..until I discover I was quirkless…" Melissa says as she wipes off her tears. "I thought that I could just follow Papa's paths, building support items, I could be a hero of my own term….but when Uncle Might offers his powers…"

"You believe that it's your chance to do more? More than just building support items, but going out there and making a difference?" Izuku asks as Melissa nods.

"How….did you know?" Melissa asks.

"Well…before I earned this magic, I was also quirkless," Izuku says, earning a gasp from Melissa. "Yeah, you can see why those Alderas seem to hate me….anyways when I was quirkless, my desire has always been to be a hero. People always said that it was impossible and told me that I would rather have better chances as something else like police, doctor, firefighters. I did consider that, but my heart always screams for heroics. And…..my selfish side believes that if I could have a quirk, I could do more. It's selfish of me to think such ways, but humans are always been that way, selfish. And well…..I didn't get it, but magic is a good substitute." Izuku adds joking, earning a giggle from Melissa.

"The point is, I understand how you feel. And I wish that those who feel the same way get that chance. And I know it sounds selfish, but instead of suggesting that others deserve it more, take the chance, and be the hero you want. And if you're speaking of deserving, answer me this, why do you want to be a hero?" Izuku asks.

"I…..want to make a difference….to help people who were shunned for lack of powers…." Melissa says as she sniffs.

"Well, I say that's a good enough reason for you to be worthy of earning the quirk from the world's greatest hero," Izuku exclaims with a grin.

"But….what if I'm not enough to fill Uncle Might's shoes….? What if I…can't be a symbol of Peace?" Melissa asks nervously.

"Well, I don't think you need to worry about that," Izuku says, making Melissa confused. "No offense to All Might, but I doubt he has the mind of a scientist like yours. Your intelligence combined with the raw power of One For All will make you an even better hero than All Might!"

"S-stop exaggerating!" Melissa exclaims in a flustered tone.

"I wasn't exaggerating," Izuku said. "On a serious note, my advice is that don't think about filling All Might's shoes, and comparing yourself to All Might won't do any good. He's been a hero for decades and he's the world's symbol of peace. It's not a pair of shoes anyone could fit in. If you plan to be a hero, don't compare yourself with others, be your own hero."

"My….own hero?" Melissa mutters.

"Yeah…." Izuku smiles. "You can take others as an inspiration, but don't be exactly like them. Trust me on this, we already have one who becomes a female All Might and we don't need another one."

"Please don't diss Stars and Stripes…." All Might mutters.

"…" Melissa looks at Izuku.

"Before you ask, I won't take One For All," Izuku says, surprising Melissa. "Well….I admit, if I was offered before I gained my magic, I would accept if All Might offered me. But, now, I don't want to be too selfish." Melissa looks at him before turning around to look at Ochako and Eijirou who also shake their head.

"….." Melissa looks at her own hands, mind wandering to what Izuku had said. Izuku gently grabs her hand.

"Do you trust All Might?" Izuku asks as Melissa nods. "Do you trust his judgment?" Melissa nods again. "Then trust him if he believes you are worthy of his quirk."

"……" Melissa can't help but shed some tears before smiling a bit and nodding. "Y-yeah…"

The Trinity smiles as Izuku lets go of his hand. All Might decides to approach Melissa but stops when Melissa tackles him in a hug which All Might returns the gesture. All Might looks at Izuku with a grateful expression, and Izuku replies with a smile and a nod.

Later

"I know you always choose to help people of your own accord, but for some reason, this one seems a bit personal. Why is that?" Ochako asks as the Trinity walks away from the Dagobah Beach and separates from All Might and Melissa.

"It reminds me of myself when I was buried by my self-doubt, constantly wondering if I ever deserve to be a hero," Izuku admits while rubbing his head. "No one back then has ever told me that I did and seeing others going through the same thing, how can I not help? Besides, I am very familiar with that type of insecurity…." Izuku looks away. "I……don't want her to stray into a dark path….. Melissa needs support, one that could help her insecurities. If we just ignore her, I….don't want to think about it."

"That's nice of you, Izu-bro," Eijirou says as Izuku lets out a small smile.

"Besides, being quirkless, I have a feeling she rarely receives compliments from others. So…." Izuku says while shrugging.

"I still remember how you flustered whenever you were praised." Eijirou teases as Izuku flushes a bit.

"Oh, screw you," Izuku says as he playfully pushes Eijirou away before they all laugh together.

"Do you think she will rise as All Might's successor? That's a heavy burden to carry." Ochako says.

"Well, I have a feeling that she could," Izuku says with a smirk. "Besides, she doesn't need to carry that kind of burden alone. We're planning to be heroes, and helping others is one of what makes a hero."

"True," Ochako nods.

"…." Izuku looks at the sky. "…..do you think we'll ever prepare to face a possible Monarch?"

"…..I'm not sure…" Ochako admits. "You are the only Monarch we know, and judging from Igris' words, you're still growing stronger and stronger. So, yeah, no idea if we're ready or not…."

"This is suck….one day, we got involved in a world of magic and dungeon, then we had to deal with a corrupt government. And now, we had to deal with a manifestation of darkness created by the god itself." Eijirou grumbles. "This is clearly out of our league!"

"Well, true…" Izuku sighs. "But, I will never forgive myself if I simply ignore the danger and do nothing."

"Yeah…" Ochako says. "…..to be honest, I'm scared…"

"…..who doesn't?" Izuku says with a shaky hand. "…..but, I'm more scared of what happen to the people if we fail to stop them. Those Monarchs…….if they decided to come into Earth, don't show them any mercy….give everything we got to beat them….."

"That's the plan," Eijirou exclaims in determination as Ochako nods. Izuku smiles at them before the three of them look into the sky, a fire of determination lit in their eyes.
