Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon or any of the songs I've drawn inspiration from. I only own the original story and characters in it (Not a lot of OC; as the series gave us so many memorable characters, I wanted to explore more those that in my opinion didn't get to show their full potential).

Prologue pt3. – The elevator jingle
Misty couldn't sleep a lot that night, but she thinks that past 2am she might have been able to sleep a couple hours at least.
By 6 am she was up, which was not normal at all for her, she'd never been a morning person (None of the sisters were, it came as part of the "Waterflower genes"); however, given that she couldn't bear staying in bed any longer, when she saw that Daisy's old swimsuit was still in her room, she had the urge to just go swimming, it was the one thing she truly missed since not fitting in any of her clothes and feeling awkward about her new image, but at 6am there would be no challengers in the gym, and she was hoping Daisy would still be asleep, so Daisy's old swimsuit would do for that.
Water was really her element, she'd normally forget about everything when she was in the water. This time it didn't quite take the full effect of making her forget everything, but it was certainly helping.
Misty did not notice, but Daisy did get up and saw her at the pool, although her sister decided to go unnoticed and went back to her own room, she was happy that at least Misty was swimming again.
By 7:30, she had come back from the pool, and changed into the clothes Daisy had lent her, it was a girl band t-shirt and shorts, not precisely a band she followed, but at least she had to admit, it was comfortable enough.
With her hair still damp from just been towel dried, she was about to leave her room when her cellphone rang, and it was a video call request… from Ash.
- "Oh shit, I didn't think he was going to call so early… he knows I hate mornings. And video call? I hate those too, especially looking like this" – She said to herself in panic.
She declined the video call, but instead called him on an audio call.
- "Oh Hi" - the raven-haired boy answered "I wasn't sure you'd be up already, I know you hate mornings, but my bus out of Pallet leaves in 40 minutes and I wanted to check on you first" – The raven haired boy said, as if prepared to be shouted at by the rage of a just awoken Misty.
- "It's OK, I've actually been up for a while, but I still have this awful headache, so I'm laying in bed. Is it OK to keep it to audio call only? I really don't want to stand up" – The girl lied, but she figured it was a harmless white lie that would spare her from the pain of seeing him knowing that he belongs to someone else, and Misty is no more than a friend to him.
- "Yeah, no problem at all, I'm just glad you picked up the phone. I" – He started saying but then Misty heard loud protesting from Pikachu in the background, - "Ok, Ok, PIKACHU and I (He said emphasising the Pikachu part) were worried when you did not show up for the race yesterday and then your sister came saying you had an accident" - The boy completed now his phrase to Misty and she could hear him saying to Pikachu in the background "you happy now Pikachu?"
- She couldn't help but smiling before replying, "Yeah, it was very weird, the headache made me lost my balance and I ended up falling and injuring my knee" – Misty was grateful Daisy did share all the details of the made-up story she came up with, well, not fully made up, the headache part was true at least.
- "But are you OK?, you seemed fine when you went for the pokeballs" – He asked.
- "Yeah the headache just came up out of nowhere, we're going to Saffron in 2 days to… do some tests" – She didn't even know how to explain why she was going to Saffron, but she figured this might do.
- "Is the hospital in Cerulean having problems?" – The boy asked reaching to quite a reasonable conclusion
- "Saffron has better… equipment for… brain stuff" – She added and thought to herself (Arceus, why did he have to call so early?, I didn't get enough time to get my story straight)
- "That sounds serious, are you sure you're OK?" – He asked with increased concern.
- "Is not as serious as it sounds, is more a hunch that Saffron will have better… treatment" she continued, "And besides, Psyduck said it'll all be OK")
- "Psyduck said? Since when can you understand him so clearly? And since when does he know about medicine?" – The boy asked in genuine shock.
- "What do you mean since when can I understand him? Do you think you're the only trainer who understand his Pokémon Mr. Pokémon Master?" – She said shouting sarcastically, falling back to her usual banter and fighting style with the boy without realising it herself.
- "Hahaha, Ok, Ok, I shouldn't have said that" – The boy said in a more relaxed tone, at least being yelled at by Misty showed she was coming back to her normal self. But he added "I'm still surprised he knows anything about medicine though, he's always been … more of a mystery to everyone "
- "Psyduck is the Freaking King of headaches wouldn't you agree?" Misty said still annoyed – and then Psyduck came out of his Pokeball which was still on Misty's bag in the room happily chanting in his language "Yes, I'm the King, I'm the Freaking King!", causing Misty to have a facepalm moment, but she was somehow happy her "Psyduck dictionary" was still working well.
- "I'll give him that, you are probably right, glad he is there for you" – he said with a relieved tone.
- "Anyway, I didn't get to ask you where is your next travel to" – She asked hoping to change the subject.
- "Oh yes, to Paldea, I don't have any Pokémon from there yet, so I am hoping to capture some" – the boy replied
Well, at least he didn't say Kalos (Misty thought to herself, but she knew that didn't necessarily meant he was not with Serena, but Misty knew if the answer had been Kalos, she might have not been able to keep her voice from cracking during this call).
She still couldn't bring herself to ask anything about that, or even if Ash was going alone or with company to Paldea. Who was she kidding?, he'll probably get a girl to follow him on the first or second day after getting there, so unless Serena is smarter than that, and is indeed joining him, history might repeat itself (And as she thought of this, she started hearing yet a different tune in her head, she couldn't place exactly what it meant, but somehow seemed to be more about Serena than about Ash, and again, strangely she could now pick it apart as one from the "battle of the bands she heard the day before"
- "You'll have to let me know about the Pokémon you capture there" – She said honestly, she always loved hearing of his adventures, even when she was not able to join herself, and it was also an attempt to quiet the music in her own head.
- "Will do, let me know if things go OK in Saffron as well… in fact, I'll tell you what, today is the 1st of the month right?" – He asked
- "… Yes?," she answered a bit unsure how the conversation swapped to which day of the month is it.
- "Good, that's easier to remember, OK, we'll talk on the 1st every month and I'll tell you about the Pokémon I captured and you'll tell me if you got any worthy challengers in the gym. Deal?"
- "Um… OK… deal" – And as she realised she might have been too keen to agree to the deal, she added "although might be difficult to work out, you'll end up in different time zones" - The truth is, Misty always knew she'd immediately agree to a deal when Ash asked, it was so frustrating how he'd always know how to get to her.
At that moment Misty was confused about many things, except the fact that she was well into "the friend zone", which, OK it was still very important to her, and she knew in her heart she'd rather have him as a friend than not at all, so maybe that deal wasn't the worst thing that could have come out from this conversation.
- "We'll text each other the last day of each month to agree on a time" – Ash said, while Misty could hear Delia's voice in the background.
- "I think that's your cue Ketchum, have fun in Paldea, and please hug Pikachu from me and thank him for worrying"
- "Will do, take care Mist, and good luck in Saffron… Oh and you still owe me a race" – he said.
- "It'll have to wait till next time you're around, but sure" – She said not really sure if such a moment will ever come.
- "You got another deal"
And with that, the call was finished, she wasn't really sure if indeed the first deal was going to stand and they'd talk every month, but for now, all things considered, she thought the call definitely could have gone worse.
As Misty left the room and went to the kitchen to grab some breakfast, she saw Daisy already there grabbing a cup of coffee.
- "Morning Sis!, heard you screaming over the phone, all OK with the call?" Daisy asked quite casually, almost as if just like Ash, she was actually relieved to hear Misty in her yelling mode.
- "Oh, well, yeah kinda, he's off to Paldea, but apparently he'll call back in a month to tell me about his travels"
- "Oh Paldea…. So not Kalos?"- Daisy replied with a look that was screaming, "I told you so", even if she didn't say it out loud.
Seriously, When did Daisy start paying so much attention? – Misty thought, she would have never imagined Daisy would be so on with details to the extent of knowing where Serena was from.
- "Stop it Daisy, that doesn't mean they're not together, they might as well be on the same bus now" – Misty said brushing her sister off.
The rest of that day and the next were fairly quiet, Daisy kept checking online the Website for Saffron mall, and preparing her "day tour" of all the shops, Misty even caught her checking the website for Daisy's favourite lingerie shop, the one with a Buneary logo.
- "Please tell me you're not shopping for me there" – Misty said embarrassed.
- "They actually have lovely pieces for teenagers, but I'll do some shopping for myself too"- the blonde said as she just kept happily browsing the websites.
Misty on the other hand, just spent as much time as she could in the pool with her water Pokémon. She and Daisy had decided to close the gym for the week, it was low season anyway and they wanted a rest.
During those 2 days, she also noticed that it wasn't only Psyduck that now she understood, somehow Starmie too. Misty was always a very good trainer, with a deep connection to all her Pokémon, but it was more as if even though she couldn't understand their actual words, she always knew what they meant or wanted, but this was different, she was understanding Psyduck and Starmie's full speech, which she was enjoying, it was just weird those were the only 2 she could understand.
The day to go to Saffron finally arrived, Daisy woke Misty up at 6am, as she wanted to get as most "Shopping time as possible", so with 2 hours drive, they arrived to Saffron gym by 8am.
That gym was as intimidating as Misty remembered it from when she was there at 10, sometimes people say you see things as a kid much bigger or scarier than they actually are, but here she was again, at 15, and the gym still seemed to be emanating as much power or even more than before.
When Daisy knocked the door, it just took a couple minutes for it to open, it was Sabrina, she looked so serious and professional, well she always did, Misty usually admired how poised the girl looked in conferences, part of Misty always felt like she wanted to grow up to be like her, even though Sabrina was actually just a couple years older, about Brock's age.
As soon as Sabrina had a look at Misty her eyes widened
- "Fascinating… you did not have all those perturbed psychic waves around you when I saw you last, a couple days ago" – Sabrina said, in a tone that reminded Misty of those scientist presenting Pokémon documentaries on TV, and as she said that, she led Misty and Daisy to the gym.
- "Before we start, you should know, for our interaction to be productive, you need to accept that there is no hiding anything from me, I can read your mind, and any attempt to lie to me will be futile" – Sabrina said, and even though the words could have been taken as a threat, she actually delivered them in such a neutral, "Documentary-like" tone, that it just felt like a mere scientific fact with no ill intention.
- "Ummm, OK… thanks for letting me know?" – Misty replied, a bit unsure on what was the correct answer to that.
- "Good, now that we got that out of the way please explain what happened" – Sabrina continued with her neutral tone as she offered Misty and Daisy a seat on the Gym's lounge while she sat as well in one of the big chairs.
- "OK, so I was rushing to the garden shed to be alone, and my sister and her boyfriend were following me, and I was in quite a bad state, so when I shouted for them to leave and in frustration tossed my hands towards them everything in the shelves of the shed fell to the ground as if tossed" – Misty tried to say as efficiently as she could.
- "Fascinating! But you are not telling me the full story, Why were you rushing?" – Sabrina confidently replied.
- "I did, It was because I wanted to be alone, and I had this horrible headache" – Misty replied almost in protest
- "My apologies, I thought I was clear, I meant what caused you the headache and the wish to be alone in the first place?" – the Saffron leader said in the same perfectly neutral tone.
- "Well… there was all this noise in my head, like…. Many bands all playing different songs and sounds all at the same time clashing with each other, I felt as if it was going to make my head explode. – Misty went to explain further.
- "Music… Fascinating.! But I'm finding frustrating that you are still not answering my question" – the girl was still immutable in pushing for a different answer, all with that same "scientist-tone".
- "Well, on top of that I kept seeing a million scenarios of things that haven't happened, all in my head… it was too much" – Misty explained even further.
- "Branching scenarios?... truly fascinating, but you still haven't answered my question" – This time Sabrina's tone was a bit more defiant in contrast to the previous neutrality.
- "You read minds don't you? Why do you ask me?, I'm sure you know by now" – Misty said, knowing she was on the losing side of an argument, but she still didn't want to have to admit the reason.
- "Because I need YOU to face it, I don't need to accept it myself, YOU DO!" – Sabrina replied as if stating the most obvious scientific fact, which inexplicably felt quite disarming.
- "I like her!, I need to learn how to do that!" – Daisy said quite impressed, not a lot of people could wear down Misty in an argument in such an elegant way – Misty just shoot a look at her sister as if saying "Now who's supposed to be on whose side now?", but at this point, Misty had accepted defeat.
- "I had my heart broken. Happy?" – Misty said in defeat.
- "Well certainly someone else's emotional misfortune does not cause me any particular pleasure, but if you mean whether I'm satisfied you've given me an honest answer, I'd say very much to that" – Again, Sabrina managed to say all of that in such a factual manner, that Misty honestly couldn't be mad at her because se knew Sabrina was just "delivering the truth".
- "How old are you?" – Sabrina asked.
- "Well just turned 15 a couple weeks ago" – Misty replied.
- "And none of this ever happened before? The music, the branching scenarios, the things moving?" – The long green-haired girl asked.
- "No, not at all" – said the redhead.
- "Anything else unusual on that day?" – Sabrina tried to dig a bit further.
- "Well, yes my Psyduck and my Starmie escaped their pokeballs and I kind of felt as a wave of relief coming from them? – Misty said honestly unsure how to explain that better.
- "A Starmie and a Psyduck? This keeps getting more fascinating" – Sabrina replied and somehow it seemed genuine her fascination with all the events.
- "Oh and was also the first time I understood Psyduck's speech to perfection, and since that day I can understand him and Starmie… and let me think… oh yes things quieted down a bit when my sister held me and I started to hear like a lullaby coming from her, it was really weird" – Misty replied trying to cover as much as she could.
- "Fascinating, and has any of that reoccurred on the past 2 days since the incident?" – Sabrina asked.
- "Well yes, but not as intense, I've heard individually some of the songs that were clashing on the first day, or at least I think I recognise them from that time. Also, I heard a cheerful tune coming from Daisy, and many scenarios of her shopping in the mall also popped to my head, in one she was holding the exact notepad she just happened to bring to the room minutes later, one with a ballerina in the cover that I had not seen before that day"
As Misty said this, Daisy pulled out the notepad from her bag. "I got this last week from Cerulean's stationery shop" – Daisy said amazed.
- "Indeed fascinating" – Sabrina stated once again, although the constant use of the word "fascinating" was starting to make Misty anxious.
- "I feel like I'm the subject of a lab experiment" – Misty said awkwardly
- "That would be correct" – Once again, Sabrina just replied as if it was the most obvious fact, unaware of why would that make anyone uncomfortable, achieving the same disarming effect, which made Misty just accept the whole lab subject premise with ease.
- "May I take your hands for a test?" Sabrina asked Misty in the most neutral tone.
As Misty offered her hands to Sabrina, the Saffron leader pushed Misty's hands to Sabrina's temples, making sure Misty's hands were fully in touch"
- "Do you hear anything?" – Sabrina asked.
The truth is, even before Misty's hands reached Sabrina's temples, as Sabrina held her, Misty started hearing what felt like… an elevator jingle?, which when her hands were in the temples, said jingle just went louder.
- "Um, this will sound weird, but you sound like… an elevator jingle?, you know those in the mall and office building elevators, which are pleasant enough, but …. Neutral … I want to say?". – The redhead replied with all honesty in her heart, there was no better way she could have explained the song.
- "This is truly fascinating, I always wanted a student with the gift of subconscious reading. Is so rare, I did not know of anyone alive with it until now" - And this time Sabrina had a clearly excited and … happy tone in her voice? Which up till now, Misty didn't think was possible to come out of the girl.
- "Excuse me, what reading?" – Daisy was the one asking this time.
- "In other words, emotion and intention reading. You know I read minds, I read what's in the conscious, but you (pointing at Misty), can hear what's in the subconscious in the shape of music. I had only heard of such a gift in a couple famous figures within the psychic community, but I did not know of anyone alive with that gift. You also seem to be displaying standard telekinesis, and branching scenario clairvoyance, that last one is also rare"
- "So you mean all Psychic people are not the same?" Misty asked.
- "Not at all, is all a spectrum, I can read minds, see people's psychic auras when they're active, teleport, and other abilities including the whole "turning people into tortured miniature dolls that I could keep in my dollhouse"… but I try not to use that one since we first met" – Sabrina said this winking, almost as if Joking with Misty, it was really interesting how the same girl could go from a complete neutral state to such a joke, but it did make Misty chuckle.
- "I have students who can predict future events, other that can control someone else's mind, one that can cause hallucinations in others, another has the ability to see what is happening to any person he thinks of, it's all fascinating"- Sabrina added.
- "So… I'm not going insane?" – Misty nervously asked.
- "Not in the slightest, you have been given wonderful abilities. Your case is unusual though, most psychic users start showing one ability at a time from a young age and develop more gradually, but you seem to have been in a dormant state for longer and then just displayed several simultaneously, you will need to train hard to fully catch up though" Sabrina went back to her documentary explanation tone.
- "Feels like it's just me always being slow and behind everyone else" – Misty added with a bit of sadness in her voice.
- "Never underestimate a slow one" Sabrina simply said as if no extra context was needed, and then just changed the subject adding "Let me take a guess, has your biggest fear always been either the darkness, ghosts or… perhaps bugs?"
- "Oh she's always been terrified of bugs, made it so much fun to mess with her as kids" – Daisy was the one replying.
- "Which I did NOT appreciate! "- As she said this, Misty shot an angry look at her sister.
- "You will have to work on that" Sabrina said in her neutral tone and went to explain further - "All of us psychic users, at a primal level fear at least one of those 3 things, scientists think it's due to a survival instinct and our connection to the psychic Pokémon who are vulnerable to those 3 elements, but you won't be able to fully control your abilities if you don't confront that fear. For me it was darkness".
- "Do I really have to? Bugs are just so creepy, unpleasant and just… yuk" – Misty said in disgust.
- "Yes you have to" – Sabrina just answered bluntly.
- "I'd like to run some test with you and also on the 2 Pokémon you mentioned if you have the time, it might take a few hours though?" – Sabrina asked
- "That's OK, You can do the tests with Misty while we go shopping" – Daisy replied.
Sabrina, catching the same paradox as Misty from Daisy's phrase was starting to ask "How would?".. But Misty cut her short and just told Sabrina "Don't even ask, she somehow understands herself"
Sabrina seemed happy with Misty's answer though, so she just said "OK, we'll do those tests"
(Now, if there is something to know about Daisy's personality, is that she is a hugger. Maybe it was because of losing so many loved figures young, but since then, whenever she met someone she felt was going to be close to her of her sisters she just couldn't resist the urge to hug them, and that is exactly what she did now to Sabrina).
- " I really like you, I think we came to the right place. You'll need to teach me how to beat my sis in an argument like that later though" – Daisy happily said hugging Sabrina before leaving to do her "we'll go shopping" time which left Sabrina in a surprised state.
Once Daisy was gone, Sabrina led Misty to the main gym area, and Sabrina asked for Misty to release the 2 Pokémon mentioned earlier.
As Starmie and Psyduck came out, Sabrina approached them, she touched Starmie's shell first and then Psyduck's head, although it kind of felt like she was communicating with them.
- "Yes, they both felt your psychic abilities awakening, no surprise for a Starmie, but I'm impressed Psyduck was able to feel that too. What were the circumstances of you catching these Pokémon?" - Sabrina asked.
- "Starmie was my starter when she was a Staryu, and Psyduck… well technically I didn't catch him… he… kind of self-captured. He was following me, I tripped, and when one of my pokeballs fell he went into it"
- "Fascinating! Psyducks are not officially considered psychic types even though they can use some abilities, their waves aren't strong enough, but yours definitely has the waves of a psychic type, I think he sensed your dormant abilities back then and he might have caused telepathically you tripping and losing that pokeball to stay by your side. I do wonder how can your Psyduck access this sort of power unusual for his species though" – The Saffron leader explained as if giving a university lecture.
- "So you really saw something in me and chose me despite losing my patience on you all the time Psyduck?" - The redhead said to her Pokémon.
- "Because you are FREAKING special to me" – The Psyduck happily said in his language, although Misty had a feeling she had taught the Pokémon a word she shouldn't have, as he kept repeating it often since hearing it on the day Ash called.
- "You are fortunate your Pokémon have such a strong connection to you. Your sister as well seems to have the right intuition to balance such a strong awakening of abilities" – Sabrina explained.
- "Who? Daisy?. Well she has been OK these days, but I swear this is not her normal self. And on that day, I was quite surprised to hear a lullaby from her, as if I was a baby. – Misty said trying to express her usual frustration on her sister, although to be honest, since 2 days ago, there was almost no frustration towards Daisy, Misty was just maybe still in denial.
- "What did I tell you about trying to lie to me?" – Sabrina asked in a slightly annoyed tone.
- "Ok, Ok, I do now think she's amazing, but honestly she didn't show it before… or I couldn't see it" – Misty corrected herself.
- "Better" – Sabrina eased her tone now.
- "The whole lullaby thing was weird though, I'm not a baby" – Misty protested.
- "Did it calm you down?" – Sabrina asked more as a formality, but was really just stating the obvious.
- "Well, yes" - Misty admitted.
- "Then her intuition was spot on" – Sabrina once again had the last word. Misty certainly was not used to losing so many arguments in a day, and yet she really wasn't mad at Sabrina at all for doing so.
After that, Sabrina proceeded to ask Misty whether there was any previous trauma in her life before the heartbreak, because as it seems, a person's psychic abilities while dormant could either accelerated or held back by trauma. There was no formula to it, but either could happen.
- "Well, I lost my parents at 3, but I really don't remember anything about them" – Misty went to explain.
- "That's still a traumatic experience even if only your subconscious knows about it, would explain why you did not show any abilities in infancy like most Psychic users"
- "And also, at 9, my grandma passed away after an illness. I do remember that being the first time my heart broke, and well the events from the other day being the second time"
- "Which would have caused the further delay and sudden outburst, at least there's a theoretical explanation" – Sabrina kept with her scientist tone.
Sabrina showed Misty some simple focusing exercises to help her control the telekinesis, which was supposed to be the first ability most psychics master, but Misty was finding it particularly frustrating, she was spending a lot of energy, and the most she could get was a pencil to shake on top of a table.
- "Don't be frustrated, these things take time, you'll have to come once a week to do some training with my other students… Oh and if I were you I'd start learning how to read, write and play music, I've read that for subconscious readers, the music in their heads can be too much to handle if an outlet is not provided. Impressively, all the ones I've read about ended up being very prolific songwriters, composers, musicians or all the above. A lot of the well known classic music was written by some of them."
- "Learn music?. I've never played an instrument in my life" – Misty said a bit anxious of what seemed like a potentially impossible task.
- "Not having tried something doesn't mean it would be impossible, it just means you'll get the thrill to discover it" – Sabrina said not even realising how philosophical and deep the whole thing came across to Misty.
- "OK, I'll start looking for tutorials online. Are you always going to be leaving me this much homework? – Misty asked almost jokingly.
- "Yes I am" – Sabrina said with a straight face, not even a blink, which caused Misty to awkwardly chuckle.
Short after that, Daisy returned from her shopping trip, she must have bought at least a quarter of the mall. Her car couldn't possibly fit another bag
- "And now for the part 2 of our shopping mall day, we'll go for a spa, manicure, facial and hair salon. Would you like to join us Sabrina? My treat for helping my baby sis, I got three afternoon passes for the Saffron Spa & Salon. It's supposed to be fabulous" – The blonde happily said.
- "Daisy not everyone is into those crazy" -Misty tried to said, but surprisingly was interrupted by Sabrina
- "You bet I will join, that Spa has the best mud treatments" – Even though Sabrina said this in a very neutral tone, Misty was flabbergasted to say the least to discover that such a serious girl would be that keen on Spa day.
- "That settles it, let's all go, is a short walk from here" – Daisy said dragging Misty while carrying just one of the shopping bags, which for some reason she didn't leave in the car with the rest.
Misty will never admit this out loud if asked later, but she actually ended up enjoying the whole spa experience. Sabrina was right, and the mud bath was surprisingly relaxing, and the other treatments were not as tedious as she thought they would be.
Even the hair styling was a nice surprise. Turned out, Misty's hair was too dry due to all the chlorine exposure from the pool, but after the treatment, it became really soft and slightly wavy, and the stylist gave her a trim where it reached just below shoulder level. Again, she'll never admit it if asked, but looking at the mirror, she quite liked how it looked on her.
Before leaving, Daisy handed Misty the bag she'd been carrying.
- "I got you more things, but I put these together for you now, pick one so you are wearing it when we arrive home. I want to see the shocked faces on our dear sisters" – Daisy said with a slight evil look in her face, as she knew she was about to play a big prank on Lil and Vi who must have returned from Cinnabar to Cerulean gym by now.
Misty went to the changing room, she was afraid of what that bag would contain. Upon opening it, she saw a few dresses, which she acknowledged were very cute, but she wasn't really sure she wanted to be seen in them… at least not now. There were some skinny jeans, crop tops, a couple of skirts… again all quite "cute" but too much out of her comfort zone, until she saw three pieces that at least had a small sense of familiarity: A yellow Bardot-top (Well the shape was not what she was used to, and she wasn't too sure of the fact that it would sit to shoulder level, but being yellow, at least made her connect to her previous style), then a pair of relaxed distressed jeans, and a belt with a Shellder shell shaped buckle in it. She did not want to waste time, and having seen the other options, she at least felt she could handle being seen in public with this choice, so she went for it and left the dressing room holding the bag with the rest of the stuff and the clothes she had on when she came.
- " I so knew that was going to be the one you would go for!, I almost didn't include it in the bag to force you to go for one of the dresses… You look very good though" - Daisy triumphantly said.
Sabrina looked quite entertained, she was an only child and always wondered what would have been having sisters, so seeing this worked as kind of another experiment to see what "sister interaction" looked like.
They all went back to the gym so Daisy and Misty could get into Daisy's car. Misty and Sabrina had agreed on the next date she'd go for training, and on the meantime, Misty knew she had all that homework to do. At least the idea of being occupied gave her some relief, the more distractions she could get from her broken heart, the better. And to Misty's own surprise, this particular day ended up being quite a good distraction.
.

.
And here goes part 3 of the prologue (I know its becoming quite a long one, but honestly I got really excited writing more about what the whole experience would have been like, and particularly on this one, I enjoyed writing Sabrina's character, I wish we would have seen more of her on the show, so when I was thinking of someone to be on Misty's side as her new friend and mentor I thought to myself "Who better than fellow badass leader Sabrina?")
Thank you so much for the 2 reviews, it honestly made my day to see that someone else was enjoying the story :). Let me know if there's anything that needs fixing, or any ideas or suggestions.
