Chapter 40: Trip to I-Island

Izuku and Yagi were on board of a private Jet to the I-Island, the miracle of modern science. Symbol of Piece has received an invitation from his old friend, and he decided to bring his favorite student/backup plan with him. After a lengthy scanning process, the heroes were allowed to enter the island grounds. The whole place looked like it came from the next century: giant elaborate statues and fountains with dancing water were the most obvious examples of this. As soon as someone in the crowd recognized All Might, everyone flocked towards him from all directions. Midoriya had to strategically use King Crimson and retreat to a nearby bench. This was going to take a lot long time.

At last, they were approached by blonde girl with glasses riding a strange looking moped. She jumped from her vehicle directly into All Might to hug him. The moped instantly turned into a yo-yo soon after.

"Uncle Might! It's been so long I've missed you." She said in American English.

"I missed you to, Melissa. If fact, l almost didn't recognize you."

"That's because I'm not a kid anymore. I'm already 17!"

"Why does All Might know a girl since she was a kid? Is she his daughter or something?" GOD was wondering..

"Melissa, I'd like to introduce you to one of my students: Izuku Midoriya. Hero name: Founder."

"Hello, Midoriya! My name is Melissa Shield. It's a pleasure to meet you." She offered her hand. It looked dry.

"Someone doesn't take enough care of themselves. She reminds me of that Hatsume girl." The killer commented.

"Call me Izuku. It's a pleasure to meet you too!" The boy answered in English with accent.

"Izuku, Uncle Might. My dad wanted to show you his latest invention. Let's go!"

Blonde's yo-yo transformed back into a moped and she drove forward at low speed. All Might warned Founder to not say anything about OFA.

Melissa father, David Shield, welcomed his old friend with open arms. He introduced himself to green head, despite the boy already knowing the man. Scientist dismissed the teens and asked Melissa to give the boy a tour of the I-Expo.

When they left the room, Melissa took a critical look on Izuku's hero costume, judging it from afar and up close, analyzing support gear and overall design. Izuku even pulled out his mask from his bag.

"I have to say, your costume's color scheme is all over the place. Blue gloves, green eyes, crimson cape and black suit. It's like you couldn't decide on a secondary color and threw in every idea." She concluded.

"To be fair, my quirk's color scheme is wild as well."

"Really?" Blonde was surprised. "What is you quirk?"

"It's an emitter type. King Crimson."

KC emerged from the boy's body.

"It certainly looks… unique." Shield tried not to insult Izuku's quirk.

"Here are the rest." Boy took out his phone and showed her images of Killer Queen and The World. "As you can see, my quirk has three forms, each with its own colors. So, my suit won't completely fit all of them regardless."

"Okay. May be I can make a color shifting suit for you. Moving to support equipment, which is the major aspect of any suit in my opinion. First, your revolvers. Why? Are you stuck in 19th century? There are way more powerful and flexible weapons available even outside of this island."

"Let's just say my quirk works best with revolvers due to their reloading mechanism. Besides, I like the way they look and how easy they are to maintain."

"Fair enough, I suppose. The sunscreen and those suspicious vials with red liquid make think you have some kind of vampiric mutation. Am I correct?"

"Almost. It's transformation, not mutation. I can become a vampire when a condition is met. So, I suppose my quirk is mix between transformation and emitter."

"Does that condition include those pink pills?"

"Yes! You pick things up fast."

"Thank you." She grinned. "Now, where would like to go first?"

"I want to meet up with my friends from school."

5 days ago.

"Here you go, Kacchan. I'll give the other ticket to Mina." Midoriya handed over invitation ticket sent by I-Island.

"What the hell? Are you not going?" Bakugo said in surprised tone.

"All Might said he can pick me up instead."

"Fuck! Why didn't he pick ME up?"

"May be because you swear a lot?"

"Fuck you, Deku!" He took the ticket and stormed off.

Temple of Creation

Goddess of Creation: Attention everyone! My father has procured 3 VIP tickets to the I-Expo on I-Island. Kyoka, since you've been to Paris recently, I'm taking Mezou and Itsuka this time. You can join us once the place becomes available to the public.

Rock Star: All right.

Handyman: Sure.

Fist of Justice: Does this mean we'll need a visa?

Goddess of Creation: Yes. I will help you.

Izuku and Melissa approached an open pavilion where anyone could test their quirk in a speed challenge. There were 10 robots scattered on different levels of elevation, and challengers need to destroy all of them as fast as possible. Bakugo used his expolsive mobility to earn a respectable score of 15 seconds, while Todoroki froze the entire area in just 14 seconds.

"If every second matters, I need something that can help me cheat in more time."

"Excuse me, Melissa. I'm going to take a nap in that café. Wake me up in 15 minutes please."

"Yeah, yeah." The girl was too preoccupied with Katsuki trying to set a new high score.

Green head went inside, sat at a table, swallowed a pill and put on his mask. The effects of sleeping agent kicked in almost instantly.

"That girl reminds a bit of Mei Hatsume." Diavolo told his host when he woke up in his bed. "Except she's not insane."

"I got the same feeling, sir."

"Tell her that she needs to have better skincare." Kira mentioned before leaving Izuku's room. The boy rolled his eyes at this.

"Deku-kun, this is a café, not a hotel. Please order something or leave." A familiar voice pulled green head back into the real world.

"Uh?" Midoriya's eyes cleared. "Uraraka? And Mineta?" What are you two doing here?

"There were job offerings for hero students across the world. We got really lucky."

"That's awesome!"

"Now, would you please order something or leave?" Short boy reminded him.

"Right, I'm leaving. Just let put this cloak on my quirk."

After saying hello to his classmates, Izuku and the diver got into position to start the time trial. The announcer declared his name, hero alias and started the clock.

"The World! Time will stop!"

Izuku had TW throw him at the top of the faux mountain to better get a better view of the positions.

2 seconds have passed.

Founder jumped down at the closest villain, which was smashed in four quick punches. He then "flew" to another one, pushing it from the cliff so it would fall on its own.

4 seconds have passed.

The third robot obstructed by bushes, so it took a bit more to find.

6 seconds have passed.

"Time will move again."

Robots four and five sent bullets towards Izuku, but they were quickly deflected by a punch barrage.

"This is useless (muda)! The World is the ultimate quirk!" Midoriya proclaimed before throwing a large rock to intercept a rocket from the sixth robot. Another rock crushed the robot's body.

Izuku jumped further down and saw two robots hiding in the river. They were about to fire missiles at him.

"Once more, The World!"

The teen avoided the frozen projectiles and closed the in to break the targets. The final two robots were on the riverbank, still aiming at where he was 3 seconds ago.

"You know, it is kind of strange that I'm counting seconds when there is no passage of time. It probably looks stupid on the outside."

"Good thing no one can see your stupidity because they are frozen."

"True."

Wanting to finish this with a bang, green head took a few rockets from the air and placed them right next to last robots. Still 1 second to spare. He didn't forget to strike a fabulous pose right as time resumed.

"5 seconds?! That's cutting down the previous best by almost three times. We've got a new champion on our hands people! Let us congratulate him!" The announcer raised Izuku's hand to everyone's cheers.

Melissa was shocked at the spectacle. She knew that All Might's favorite student must have had a special quirk, but this was insane! His speed was beyond not just human perception, but even the most advanced technology, as even replay cameras could only show his movements during robots 4, 5 and 6. She definitely had to get to the bottom of this.

As Founder was handing off autographs to the crowd along with selfies, someone approached him. This person was a tall and muscular blonde woman whose suit sported US flag colors along with golden elements. She wanted him to sign a photo of himself posing.

"Oh my God! You are Star and Stripe! The Number One hero from USA! I am a big fan of you!"

"Likewise, Founder. I'm quite a fan of you as well." She grinned.

"What? Why?"

"I've read about you in a Shoowaysha article. They described you as a future hero with potential to outshine All Might. Given how much I admire that man, I wanted to see your "Ultimate quirk", as you put it, in action."

"Ye-Yeah, sorry." Izuku started mumbling. "I just… I just got carried away a little."

"It's fine, kid. Say, how about I treat you to a dinner somewhere private? I want to ask you a few things without other people listening."

"Sure!"

Tsar Bomba: Where are you, Deku? I've left you for 5 minutes and you were gone.

Green Devil: Sorry, Kacchan. A Pro Heroine invited me to a private dinner.

Tsar Bomba: This again. You should stop thinking with your dick and jumping at every woman you come across.

Green Devil: That's not what you think, Kacchan.

Tsar Bomba: You told me the same thing about Gloves, Round Cheeks, Horns and Fist, and I know for a fact that first two live in your home. Not to mention the blushing in your presence and tailing you. Don't think I'm unaware of your "stress relief" sessions in that love hotel either. Fame is getting in your head, man.

Green Devil: Do I seriously hear that from Mr Crush the Extras?

Tsar Bomba: I don't complain when you crush them. It's what people with strong quirks like me and you are destined to do. It's what we HAVE to do to show villains we mean business. What you are doing is just thinking with your other head.

Green Devil: Look, she's getting impatient. How about we talk about this later?

Tsar Bomba: DEKU YOU WEREN'T EVEN LISTENING!
