AN: This will be a very dark Naruto fanfic, a lot of violence and most of all Naruto will not be redeemable. Naruto is the main character, yes, but he is not the hero of this story.
Prologue
Minato looked at his son with pain in his eyes. He knew the only choice he had at the moment to protect Naruto and the village was to seal the nine tails into Naruto. Minato knew how painful having the ninetails inside you could be, the way it could twist thoughts and break wills. And with Naruto being so young, there was no telling how profound the beast's influence might be, even with the power of the Reaper Death Seal. Resolving to protect his son at any cost, Minato made a fateful decision. As he completed the hand signs, he chose to seal the entirety of the Nine-Tails' soul within himself, leaving only its chakra sealed inside Naruto.
As Minato completed the hand signs, he watched as the Nine-Tails' chakra coursed into Naruto. The boy's bright blue eyes morphed, the pupils turning into slits, and the irises shifting to a haunting crimson. The sight was mesmerizing and unsettling. With a final look, Minato closed his eyes, hoping that his last action would bring his son the best future.
A young boy, appearing no older than six, moved slowly through a park shrouded in pristine white snow. His blonde hair, tousled and striking against the backdrop of winter, glinted in the dim light as snowflakes settled on it, melting into cold rivulets that traced paths down his neck. The boy's eyes, unlike any others in the village, were crimson red with slitted pupils that resembled those of a fox. They were sharp, intense, yet carried an emptiness that belied his age. As he watched the snow descend lazily from the sky, blanketing the already foot-deep ground, there was a sense of quiet detachment in his gaze, as though he were both present and far away at the same time.
This boy was Naruto Uzumaki, a name that should have been innocent, that should have been associated with youth and laughter. Yet, in the whispers of the village, it was tied to fear and suspicion. They called him 'the fox brat,' 'the demon child,' monikers that clung to him like a shadow. To Naruto, these names were as incomprehensible as they were painful. True, his eyes were unusual, but he wasn't a fox or a demon. He was just a boy, one who didn't understand why he was the object of so much disdain. He sighed, his breath forming soft clouds in the chill air as he trudged on through the snow-covered paths.
Naruto was aware that he was different, not just in appearance but in the sharpness of his thoughts. Ever since he could remember, his mind had felt far too mature for his age, burdened by a sense of depth and awareness that shouldn't belong to a six-year-old. At times he felt as if he lived thousands of years already but at the same time he knew he didn't. After all if he was that old he wouldn't look so young and he also would be dead considering no human could live that long. The only things that could live that long are tailed beasts.
Speaking of them Naruto once believed he was called 'fox brat' because he had the nine tails sealed inside of him. But he found no proof that this was the case. His body bore no seals, no visible marks of such a connection. Even when he pushed his chakra to the surface, there was no symbol, no telltale sign that he hosted the beast. But there was no denying that his chakra was different. It was dark, almost evil, at times it even scared him a little.
He wonders if this is why people treated him so badly. Could they sense how dark his chakra felt? No, as far as he knew only sensors could do that or if he released a lot of his chakra but he's never done that.
Naruto grabbed his stomach as it made noise, it always made noises, no matter how much Naruto ate he always felt hungry. Well more like thirty but it was his stomach that always made a noise. For as long as Naruto could recall his mouth always felt dry, as if no matter how much he drank he could never feel hydrated.
As Naruto walked through the park, a sudden yell of fear broke the silence. The sound grabbed his attention, and he moved towards it. It sounded like a little girl. When he arrived, he saw a girl around his age, kneeling in the snow with tears streaming down her face, leaving dark spots on the white ground. She had short black hair with… "byakugan". Naruto thought to himself as he saw the girl's lavender eyes.
In front of her stood three older boys, around eleven years old. The largest of them, clearly the leader, smirked cruelly as he towered over her.
"Hurry up and lick my shoes!" he ordered, a twisted smile spreading across his face. One of the other boys chimed in.
"Yeah, hurry up! It's how you say sorry for having those weird eyes!" He laughed at his own joke, and Naruto's eyes narrowed. As he too has been insulted many times because of his eyes.
The girl slowly moved her head down towards the boy's shoe. Her body shaking from fear, the tears in her eyes still dripping down onto the snow and a look pure hopeless in her eyes. As the girl reached the boy's shoe, the boy suddenly shot his foot up, this caused the boy's foot to slam right into the girl's mouth. Blood filled the snow as blood began leaking from the girl's lower lip. The large boy laughed which caused the other boys to laugh as well.
"My bad, I thought I saw a bug on your face so I wanted to help." The boy said, laughing even louder. Naruto had seen enough and slowly walked towards the group. At the sound of his footsteps the trio looked towards him with a bit of fear and shock on their face however when they saw Naruto the fear was removed from their faces.
"They probably thought I was an adult." Naruto thought to himself as he walked towards them.
"Well look what we have here, another weird eye freak!" The boy said loudly. Naruto's eyes narrowed even more at the insult. Naruto looked at the three boys and then at the girl on the floor crying while the blood that leaked out her lower lip began to trickle down her chin.
"Don't you think picking on a little girl is rather sad. Especially considering you're probably at least 5 years older than her and there are three of you guys." Naruto told the trio while still looking at the girl who now looked at Naruto. Upon seeing Naruto a bit of hope filled the girl's eyes. Naruto smiled softly at the girl, feeling pity for her and at the same time being able to relate to the insults thrown her way.
"No, I don't think it's sad. After all you weird eye freaks should know your place, especially you! I know who you are, you red eye demon freak!" The large boy yelled at Naruto. At the boy's words Naruto's hand clenched into a fist. His whole life Naruto has held to deal with insults from the adults without knowing why. He couldn't say anything back to them as he knew that would only lead to more trouble. However hearing someone around his own age insult him like that only added fuel to his anger. Naruto exhaled slowly, as he unclenched his fist.
"Look, I don't want any trouble. Just leave her alone, and we can all pretend this never happened." Naruto said, keeping his voice steady as he addressed the large boy. It was clear that the other two would follow whatever the leader decided, so talking to them was pointless.
The large boy's smirk deepened as he sneered, "Like hell we're leaving her alone. This lavender-eyed freak still needs to lick my shoes." He paused, eyes glinting with cruel amusement as he shifted his focus back to Naruto. "Fine, you want this to go away? We can pretend, but only if you get on all fours and lick my shoes and my friend's shoes too." Each word dripped with smug satisfaction.
Naruto didn't say a word, instead he looked down at the floor. Then he moved forward which caused the large boy and his friends to smirk. As Naruto moved forward he kept his head low, the boys took this as him feeling shameful for what he was about to do, and the girl on the floor looked on in horror. She felt miserable, she felt as if this boy was about to suffer the same fate as her because she was too weak to defend herself.
Naruto stopped just a foot short of reaching the leader. The large boy leaned in, his laugh cutting through the cold.
"Come on now, get on your hands and knees and start licking." He said, chuckling to himself. Without warning, Naruto unleashed a powerful kick, driving his leg forward with precision and force to the back of the boy's knee. The leader yelped as his leg buckled, sending him crashing down. Before he could recover, Naruto grabbed a fistful of his hair and drove his knee into the boy's face. The sickening crunch of the boy's nose breaking echoed in the quiet park, blood splattering across the snow. Naruto didn't stop. He drove his knee into the boy's face again and again, each strike more brutal than the last, until the snow was stained with crimson blood.
The other two boys stood frozen, eyes wide with shock. Finally, one snapped out of his trance and rushed at Naruto, landing a punch on his jaw that sent him staggering back. Naruto released the leader and fell into the snow. The boy moved to stomp on Naruto's stomach, but Naruto rolled aside just in time, springing back to his feet. Naruto darted forward, dodging a wild punch and countering with a blow to the boy's stomach. The boy let out a groan and then let out a loud yell of pain as he suddenly felt a huge amount of pain travel through his entire body. The boy fell to the ground as Naruto stood there smirking, he had just kicked the boy's balls.
The last boy stood motionless, fear etched across his face. Naruto met his gaze, eyes cold and unyielding. "Take your friends and leave. Now, before you end up like them," he said.
The boy didn't hesitate. He scrambled to his fallen friends, helping them up and dragging them away. As they stumbled off, the large boy shouted over his shoulder, voice garbled and strained, "Don't think I'll forget this, you demon brat!"
Naruto turned to face the girl, who was staring at him with wide eyes, a mix of amazement and disbelief.
"T-thank you." The girl stuttered out. Naruto smiled softly at the girl as he got close to her.
"No problem." He said in a soft and smoothing tone which seemed to help the girl calm down. "Here let me help with that." Naruto said as he moved his finger to the girl's mouth and used his finger to wipe the blood off her lips.
As Naruto's finger touched her blood he felt an odd sensation. He pulled his finger from her lip and looked at it. The blood, it almost seemed to be calling his name, his nose picked up on the smell of something, something that smelled good, way too good. His body moved on his own at the sudden smell. His finger slowly made his way to his mouth and he slowly opened his mouth and rubbed the blood onto his tongue.
A feeling that he couldn't explain filled his body. He felt, he felt amazing. The dry feeling in his throat seemed to go away, even if just a little. His senses felt more awake, his chakra, he could feel it, it felt stronger. As he looked onto the girl he saw the surprise look on her face, due to the fact that he suddenly just put her blood into his mouth.
"What's your name?" Naruto asked the girl.
"H-Hinata Hyug-ga." Hinata stuttered out. Naruto looked at the girl, his body tensed, no one could tell but he was currently fighting his own body, he was fighting it and stopping it from launching itself at the girl and ripping her open just to drink her blood and eat her body.
"I-I need help." Naruto whispered out. The girl looked surprised by this, what exactly did he need help with. As the girl looked at Naruto she noticed his hand slowly started to twitch.
"W-what do y-you need hel-p with?" Hinata asked.
"Your blood… I need more of it please." Naruto said, which completely shocked the girl. Hinata sat there on the ground in complete shock not knowing what to do. He needed her blood? But why? Did he want to hurt her too? Did he save her just so that he could be the one to hurt her? Her mind was suddenly cut off from her thoughts as Naruto grabbed onto his wrist.
"Please, I need your help, my body it's getting hard to control." Naruto told her. Hinata felt a weird feeling fill up inside her. 'I need your help' those four simple words repeated over and over again in her head. While they were simple words they meant a lot to her as it was the first time she felt like she could be even a little bit useful to someone. Her whole life her father, her cousin, the elders and her entire clan had made it clear to her that she was a useless failure that would accomplish nothing in her life. Yet this boy needed her help, this boy thought she was useful. It made Hinata feel something she's never felt before. A sense of self worth.
"You can have it." Hinata said softly, for the first time in her life not stuttering, something that surprised even her. Naruto didn't need to hear anything else as he pulled her arm up and bit down onto her forearm. Hinata cringed as Naruto's teeth struggled to rip her flesh off. She bit down on her lower lip to stop herself from screaming at the pain she felt from Naruto's teeth slowly ripping her flesh open. Eventually blood began to leak from her arm and she could hear Naruto drinking her blood.
She sat there, as much as her arm burned from the pain, as much as she felt as crying and yelling, there was a stronger feeling that stopped her from doing such. Her feeling of self worth which kept her in place, which kept her from pulling her arm away and crying from the pain.
Slowly her free hand moved to rubbed Naruto's hair. "So soft" Hinata thought to herself as she ran her fingers through his hair. After a few minutes Naruto stopped biting down on her forearm and looked up at the girl who seemed a little pale, most likely due from how much blood Naruto had drank from her. Hinata looked at Naruto's crimson red eyes. "Beautiful" she thought to herself as she looked at the eyes of the first person who found her useful, at the first person who gave her life meaning.
"Can I know your name?" Hinata asked. Naruto looked at Hinata for a second before a grin came onto his face, a grin filled with nothing but selfishness.
"Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." He spoke and Hinata smiled at the name of the boy who had become her everything.
Minato may have believed that what he was doing was the best for his son, and in a way he was not wrong. But by leaving the chaotic chakra of a tail beast inside of a child without a tail's beast soul to control the chakra he created a demon. A tail's beast chakra on its own is too dark and chaotic for a human to control especially that of the full chakra of the nine tails, as such the body adapts, and the only way it can adapt to control such chakra is create a monster that can handle its power.
And such a monster was born. A monster that will bring nothing but chaos onto the world.
