Thanks for the reviews. I have considered the opinions of the people that had input for the pairings and it will not be Ginny or Hermione. At the moment I am considering either Susan or Parvati.

With Slytherin's monster defeated the teachers and headmaster decided to send the students home early. The only students that would be remaining in the castle would be those students who had to take their OWLs and NEWTs.
The next morning at breakfast Hedwig appeared with a letter for him. Harry read the letter while the rest of the students were excitedly talking about what they were going to do with the extra summer vacation.
Mr. Potter,
I have some things that I would like to discuss with you concerning your actions in the Chamber of Secrets. Please come see me once you are finished with your breakfast and have packed your trunk.
Professor Dumbledore.
P.S. Snickers are an awesome candy bar. Don't you agree?
As he finished the letter he glanced at the head table and saw that Dumbledore was looking at him. Harry nodded in his direction and then listened to the students around him.
Ron was currently talking to Hermione (who had been given the mandrake draught overnight) about what she wanted to do over the holidays.
"My parents are dentists so they will be working most of the time during the day. I will probably spend most of my free time reading and working on my summer homework. At some point during the break we will go on vacation. We usually go somewhere during the summer. I believe we were talking about going to France this year."
Ron looked at Harry and Harry said "I'm going to be with my relatives. He grinned. "They have no idea what is coming. I will not be taking their crap amymore."
Ron and Hermione's eyes widened and Hermione told him not to do anything that would get him in trouble.
There is no way that I am going to let them mistreat me like they did the last time. I am going to do what I want and they will regret pissing me off this time. Harry thought with a smirk appearing on his face.
Harry took the time to look around the hall as he ate and saw most of the students happily talking to their friends. Susan and Hannah were animatedly talking about something at the Hufflepuff table. Malfoy was talking with his friends and occasionally looking at Harry with a look of anger. He must have already heard about Dobby from his father. Harry smirked and waved at Malfoy. Malfoy scowled and made sure that none of the teachers saw as he made a rather rude finger gesture. The Ravenclaw prefect that had been petrified was looking a little anxious but would occasionally look in Percy's direction.
Harry got up and began to leave the hall when he saw that Dumbledore's seat at the head table was empty. He decided to talk to Dumbledore before he headed to the Gryffindor common room.
When he arrived he found that Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk looking at some of the trinkets and gadgets that were in front of him. His future knowledge allowed him to know that the headmaster was looking at the protections that were placed on Privet Drive.
"You wanted to see me, Headmaster."
"Yes, I did." Dumbledore began. "I want you to tell me why you went down to the chamber to rescue Ginny when you could have told some your teachers instead."
Harry looked at him and began to get a little angry. "Professor, I am beginning to lose my trust in some of the adults that you have at this school. Last year, you had a professor that tried to kill me and had Voldemort on the back of his head. You had protections around the Flamel's stone that first years could get past. When I told a professor that I had suspicions that the stone was going to be stolen nothing was done and i was told it was none of my business. This year you hired an idiot that taught us absolutely nothing and again attacked me and Ron. The only reason we weren't obliviated was because Ron's wand was broken."
Dumbledore tried to say something but Harry cut him off. Harry wasn't done with his rant.
"Professor Snape belittles me more than any other student he teaches but only rewards and respects those in his house. All he does is tell us what we are working on and then points to the directions on the board and tells us to start. How are we expected to do well in that class with absolutely no teaching being done. While I'm talking about bad professors. why do we have Binns teaching History of Magic. The only thing he cares to teach about are the goblins and it is always negative. I have treated them with respect the two times i have dealt with them and they don't treat me like Binn's teaches. What I have read in Hogwarts, A History says that Hogwarts is the best magical school in Britain, it must be the only school in Britain because half of the classes taught are abysmal. I have helped to protect this school twice from Voldemort but how am I rewarded? I get to go back to my aunt and uncles to again be mistreated, abused, and malnourished."
Dumbledore was currently not looking at Harry. He was looking at his desk and was feeling ashamed. He knew that the Dursley's weren't the nicest of muggles but he was shocked to hear Harry say he was abused. Most of the portraits of past headmasters were shaking their heads and Harry could hear a couple of them whispering about his disrespect toward the current headmaster. Harry could tell that Dumbledore was thinking of the best way to respond.
Before Dumbledore could say anything Harry gathered his courage. "You and the previous headmaster dont look like you believe me. I'll prove it." With that Harry pulled his shirt over his head and turned so that Dumbledore could see the marks of abuse on Harry's back.
Dumbledore gasped and as Harry pulled his shirt back fown and turned he could see a look of anger in Dumbledore's eyes.
"Harry you have to understand that i had no idea what you were going through. I protected you from those who would harm you and your family but never believed your family would hurt you. I understand that you are upset with how Professor Snape is but i have faith in him and i will talk with him once everyone leaves for the summer. I am terribly sorry that I have been inattentive with regards to the safety of you and the rest of the students this year and last year. I will do the best that I can to make sure that you and the rest of the students are safe from here on out."
Before Dumbledore could continue, Harry interrupted him.
"Sir, I asked you at the end of the year last year why Voldemort attacked me and my family and you told me i was too young to know about that. I understand that there are reasons that you have kept things from me and others but secrets only cause problems later on. If I promise to tell you something that will be hard for you to believe and refrain from keeping secrets from you will you promise to do the same for me.
Dumbledore looked at Harry in shock. "The things i know are not necessary for you to..."
"Sir, I know your skeptical and i will go first if you promise it wont leave this office." Dumbledore nodded and waved the elder wand. "Go ahead. Harry, no person or portrait can hear our conversation."
"I came from five years in the future and defeated Voldemort but we lost too many people in the process, including you. I wss mourning the loss of many of my friends and others and death gave me the chance to come back."
"That's not possible, Harry."
"It is sir and I'll prove it. The wand in your possession (pointing to the elder wand on the desk) is one of the three Deathly Hallows given to the Peverell's by Death. You took it from Grindlewald when you defeated him."
With that he stood and said "Death, as the uniter of the Deathly Hallows I ask that you reclaim them and remove them from our world." Dumbledore watched in shock as the Elder Wand disappeared into shadows.
"We have to do things differently if we are to prevent the deaths from my time. I can still see that you are a bit skeptical. Don't take offense but im gonna be highly confrontational and will likely sound dark but i promise i would never turn dark. You give people second chances and that is detrimental to our society. Lets look at the past."
" You saw what Tom was like as a child and teenager and did nothing to change his circumstances. You left him to return to the orphanage that he hated and allowed him to become one of the most dangerous people in Britain. You teach people that it is important to give second chances to those that have done bad things. Yes, it is important to allow people an opportunity to turn away from their bad choices. However, when it is evident that they are not going to do so why would you continue to believe that things will change."
"Let me give you an example, sir. In the last war many people would stun and temporarily restrain death eaters or take chances that allowed them to escape. If you stun someone, then their friends can revive them and then you are right back where you started. Your "for the greater good" philosophy has done a great deal of harm to our community. I know you fear that by teaching spells that can be considered "grey" or "dark" you are creating the possibility for Voldemort to have more followers, but how will we know what we are being attacked with or how to dodge it? Ultimately, it is intent that really matters when it comes to spell casting. Let me give you an example name a spell or two that is not considered harmful."
Dumbledore's two spells were the light charm and the levitation charm. Harry then told Dumbledore the light charm, if bright enough, could temporarily blind someone and if someone was levitated high enough and then released they would die.
Dumbledore looked at Harry thoughtfully (not to mention a little worried) and could clearly see that this was not the same boy that went into the Chamber of Secrets to save Miss Weasley. "I definitely see your point Harry please continue."
"Sir, my last point before I ask you for permission to leave revolves around my relatives. I know that you put protections up for me and I will return to them this summer but if they do anything that is considered abuse of any kind I will leave and never return. I barely consider it a home and I know that the protections only protect me as long as I can consider Privet Drive a home."
"I will consider the things that you have told me today, Harry. I do, however, need to know what you plan to do with your future knowledge. I believe you mean no harm to the rest of the Wizarding World, therefore I agree to keep your secret." He opened a drawer in his desk and pulled out another wand. Harry assumed that this was Dumbledore's original wand.
"I, Albus Dumbledore, swear to not repeat any of the information about Harry having knowledge of future events or his plan to improve our society without his approval." Dumbledore's wand glowed as the oath was completed.
"Harry, the train will be leaving shortly and I will not keep you any longer. Enjoy your summer to the best of your ability and let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I will reach out to you over the summer to discuss more with you."
