AN1: I am going to be doing something a little different regarding clothes. I had a reviewer say that the fact that I chose purple robes was the opposite of not sticking out for Harry, something similar to what Draco would wear. The heirs in my story will have clothing that matches their family crests. Malfoy will mainly be wearing green, Harry purple, Susan red, etc…

AN2: I also wanted to point out another review. While harry has the memories of his original self, he is still a 13 year old. It was suggested that he date someone who is his mental age of almost 19. The closest age at Hogwarts would be a seventh year. Harry has no plans of letting everyone know about the time travel. In most instances a 17/18 year old would not be interested in a 13 year old. Harry also may have the mental age difference but his everything else (appearance, hormones, etc) is that of a 13 year old

When Harry awoke he looked around the room and saw that he was in a room similar to the Hospital wing at Hogwarts. He saw a massive black dog laying near the door and two women and a girl sitting around his bed. It took a moment to realized that he knew the people around his bed and Padfoot was laying by the door. Amelia, Tonks, and Susan looked up as Harry groaned. Padfoot did too and began to wag his tail excitedly.

"What happened." Harry asked. "The last thing I remember is my Aunt Marge insulting my parents and being unable to control my rage."

Susan giggled and immediately stopped when her aunt looked at her. "Sorry." She said looking down.

Your "relatives" looked as if they were going to strike you as Dobby brought me and Tonks to you. We have their confession, but I need you to tell me what happened. We have searched every inch of the house before coming here and waiting for you to wake up. We know about your living situation, the abuse, and how your aunt Marge has been treating you." You are currently at St Mungos and have been recovering from a severe case of magical exhaustion for 2 days.

Harry nodded.

"She was coming to visit for a week. My uncle left to pick her up and...then I blacked out."

Harry looked around the room and saw a couple of different expressions. Amelia and Tonks were looking angry again and he saw tears in Susan's eyes for a moment be for she ran over to him and hugged him saying, "I'm so sorry, Harry."

Amelia finished taking notes on what Harry had told her and said, "You will not have to worry about seeing your relatives for quite a while. Both of your aunts and your uncle will be charged with abuse, both physical and mental, and Vernon and Petunia will also be charged with neglect. We are currently unsure of what to do with your cousin. For the time being his being taken care of by your neighbor Mrs. Figg, under auror supervision. He will stay at the school and we will have a place for him by the time the year is up. Due to his upbringing and the influence of his parents it will be difficult but he may be able to change. Is there anything else we need to know or you want done.

"I warned them that i would bankrupt them if anything untoward happened over the summer. I found out through Gringotts that they were being paid to take care of me from the time I was placed with them and they never spent any of it on me. I was given my cousins hand me downs and given table scraps to eat. I want every bit of money paid back to me." Harry said angrily. "I did what Dumbledore would have wanted me to do and gave them another chance. Dudley might change and he deserves the chance to do so but only him."

Amelia nodded and said she would have Gringotts take care of it.

Harry spent 3 more days at St. Mungos. During that time the healers managed to fix all of the damage to his bones and body that he had suffered for the past 10 years, they had managed to treat the physical signs of abuse (everything was faded and barely visible), and they had started him on nutrition and growth potions.

Upon being released Amelia, Susan, and Padfoot took Harry to Bones Manor and gave him a tour telling him that upon completion of the tour he needed to lay down and rest. Amelia told him that Dobby was also here and he would help Harry as much as possible.

The next couple of days Harry spent resting and learning more about the Bones family. He had been surprised to find out that Amelia was letting Sirius roam around the house as himself. He had been told that Tonks was the only one to report to Amelia so there was no chance of anyone finding out he was at Bones Manor.

Harry got up on the Monday after he arrived and headed in the direction of the bathroom happy that he was going to be able to go back to a normal routine.

Unaware that someone was already in the bathroom he opened the door as someone stepped out of the shower wrapped in a towel. Harry looked up as he heard a startled shriek. Standing in front of him was Susan Bones, who had frozen looking at him.

Harry turned red in embarrassment and quickly shut the door. As he did, he saw two people running in his direction. His godfather and the head of law enforcement took one look at him and laughed. Sirius was laughing so hard that he could barely stand.

"Alright Sirius, that's enough." Amelia Bones started. "Take Harry downstairs to the kitchen and I will grab Susan and bring her down. If he needs to use the restroom, he can use the one by the dining room."

Still chuckling a little Sirius directed Harry in the direction Amelia had instructed. After Harry had taken care of his business, the two sat down at the dining room table. Harry could hear Amelia talking to her niece as she walked in the door. Harry had heard the last part of the conversation which was Amelia telling her niece that she had warned her to lock the bathroom door because of their guests.

She blushed as she looked in Harry's direction. He thought that she looked kinda cute when she blushed. "I am sorry, Harry. I forgot to lock the door. I am not used to having males in the house, so I am still adjusting.

Harry nodded, feeling his face warming up.

"Harry, I know that we have only spoken a couple of times before but thanks to you I no longer believe that Sirius is guilty. If I did, he would not be here in the presence of my niece. I will do everything that I can to protect him."

"What is going to happen to me for the rest of the summer, Madam Bones?" Harry asked

"First off, Harry, you are more than welcome to call me Amelia, or auntie, when you are in my house, since I would have been one of the people that should have taken care of you. If in public, you should call me Madam Bones. I am going to spend most of the day, once I leave, working on removing your guardianship from your relatives. This will likely not be removed by end of this summer. The two of you are more than welcome to stay with my niece and I this summer."

"Thanks Amelia." Harry said.

Amelia turned to Susan and told her that as soon as she is done, she will take her to visit with Hannah. Susan told her that she is done but she wanted to say something to Harry first. Amelia nodded to her smiling and asked for Sirius to follow her.

As soon as the two adults left Susan turned to Harry. "I am sorry for the way I and my house treated you last year. After the attack on Justin and after witnessing what happened at the dueling club, we were certain that you were the Heir of Slytherin. After we heard the rumors of what happened in the chamber, I realized that it was stupid that you would do anything to harm muggleborns when your best friend and mother were muggleborns. I promise that I will seek you out before I do anything like I did last year. Will you forgive me?" her expression changed to one of worry before she looked down.

Harry smiled. "Yes, Susan, I will forgive you. You and your aunt are keeping the secret of my godfather being innocent. I can also see that you truly are remorseful. With that she shyly hugged him and turned to leave.

A few moments later Sirius walked in. "Hey pup."

"Hi, Sirius."

Sirius continued. "We have received a letter from Gringotts for you. Since we have not read it we are assuming that they are asking for you to meet them. As soon as Amelia receives the item to disguise my identity we will go to Gringotts."

Sirius explained to Harry that Bones Manor was well hidden from muggle sight and as long as Harry didn't perform any magic with his wand they would be fine. Magic performed while Amelia is at work might cause someone to come looking.

Sirius told Harry that he wanted to talk to him about what happened later on once they were alone. He wanted to discuss his suspicions of the reason for the shadow and the extreme cold.

As soon as Amelia and Susan left, the two started the discussion.

"Pup, while your dad and I were learning to become animagi we had done a lot of research into the various methods and animals that we could turn into. We found that magical forms were extremely rare and were usually a sign of a powerful wizard. We found that some of the magical creatures could affect their surroundings like phoenixes and some of the powers could be used in their human form. There was only one form that i remember that could radiate cold and manipulate shadows. I strongly believe that you somehow managed to tap into your animagus form last week in your anger. The form i believe you have is called a shadow panther. Once you have mastered the transformation, according to what little the book told us, you will be able to affect the shadows around you in a number of different ways. You can hide yourself in shadows, travel through shadows, and quite possibly other things.

Over the next couple of days, the four of them became closer. Harry could see that Sirius and Amelia had some sort of past. Harry had had no idea. He had assumed that this was because Sirius had never been able to leave Grimmauld Place. Harry was starting to consider Susan as a friend. He knew that Ron was insanely jealous of him and Hermione was extremely overbearing, but Susan just wanted to talk and hang out. He was beginning to realize that some of his truest friends from his original timeline were those that he hadn't spent a whole lot of time around. Neville, Luna, and Ginny always set down whatever they were doing to help him, and he put them on the back burner. He vowed that he would do a much better job this time around.

He also started to plan out the things that he would change and the things that he knew from future knowledge. He knew that Snape wasn't as bad as he had originally thought, Draco had only known what he had been raised by. Narcissa cared more for Draco than anything else. If he could improve the relationships that he had with these three, things could be drastically changed. He had realized that while some Slytherins were bad others would do anything that they needed to do to achieve their dreams and aspirations. Harry vowed that he would make sure that he improved the relationships that he had amongst the three houses.

When Amelia had come home from work on the Monday Harry was free to do as he wished, she had brought a ring with her. She said that when Sirius was to come up with an appearance that he wanted to use as his new identity. Sirius decided that he would become blonde with shoulder length hair that was combed back his eyes would now be blue with a greenish tint near the iris. He also had a short beard that hid his cheeks and shape of his jaw. Once he had settled on his appearance he was to put the ring on and touch the stone and push some magic into it. This would allow the ring to recognize only his magic and allow only him to activate and deactivate his glamour. With that the four headed to Diagon Alley.

Amelia and Susan headed to Madam Malkins to update Susan's wardrobe. She had grown both in height and in other areas. As such her pants were too short and a little of her stomach was showing. Harry had noticed that Susan favored clothes in shades of red.

Sirius and Harry headed to Gringotts and asked to have the Potter and Black Account managers brought to the same room. When the two goblins entered the room Sirius began to talk.

"Harry received a summons to discuss his recent actions and to receive the objects he asked for and I am here to name my heir and become recognized as Lord Black."

The two goblins looked at him trying to look past the beard. Barchoke spoke for the other goblin. "Please remove the glamor and prove to us that you really are Sirius Black."

Sirius deactivated the ring and the two goblins nodded.

He then told the two goblins that he wanted Andromeda Tonks and Nymphadora Tonks to be provided with 100,000 Galleons from the Black family vault and reinstated them as members of the Black family. He also notified the goblins that were anything to happen to him his belongings would be given to Harry and the money in the vault would be split between Andromeda, Nymphadora, and his heir, Harry.

The two goblins nodded and told him that this would be done by the end of the day and due to the world believing that he was a convicted murderer they would allow Sirius to notify them of their change.

Barchoke then looked at Harry and told him that the Basilisk rendering and selling was complete. The profits were 15 million.

"As requested, the money has been deposited in the accounts you requested. The Lily and James Foundation has been created and just needs a Board and the Prongs Orphanage is currently being built and will be ready by mid-November." Sirius looked in Harry's direction at this and Harry could see tears forming in his eyes.

Barchoke continued. "As requested we took two of the largest amethysts we could find and placed it in the pommel of a newly created sword. It has been created to look exactly like the Sword of Gryffindor. In place of Gryffindor's name, we placed the Potter Crest on it and the name Potter below the crest. We actually have had two created and if you hand us your Lord ring we will tie both swords to the ring. When you require either sword imagine it in your hand and it will appear. Both swords also have a scabbard made mostly of the same silver as the sword. I would suggest storing them somewhere safe. The scabbard with the black tinge has the sword that has been infused with basilisk venom and the one with a purple tinge has no venom. We did this so that you could train. The apparel made of basilisk skin has been deposited in your vault. You or the recipients of them must think about the color that they would like for them to be before they put it on the first time. It will only change color once. We were, however, able to apply the spell to automatically adjust size to grow with their owners. If there is nothing else the two of you need you are free to leave."

Sirius reactivated his glamour and as they walked out told Harry that they needed to find a place to talk. Harry nodded apprehensively. He thought that some of the things that had been done and said would have Sirius questioning what was going on, especially with the swords.

Shortly after their conversation, Sirius and Harry watched as Amelia and Susan walked up happily talking while carrying several bags. As they sat down Amelia said "Holly" and a young female elf appeared. Amelia asked the elf to take the bags home and put them in their appropriate spots. Harry and Sirius were eating ice cream Sundays. Harry asked for and ordered two more with whatever Amelia and Susan wanted. While Harry had had Dobby get his required schoolbooks Susan still needed to get hers. So they followed them to Flourish and Blotts.

Harry checked the shelves for any new books that he didn't already have. Harry planned on dropping divination and taking ancient runes and maybe arithmancy, he had been good at math in school growing up. Having already passed all of the original subjects he planned on getting books that would allow him to progress even further in each of the normal areas. He was also not willing to spend another three years with Trelawney. He planned to write Professor McGonagall as soon as he got back to Bones Manor. He also planned to write Hermione and attempt to convince her to drop a couple of the classes. He would only try once though. He was not about to spend a bunch of time trying to change his two original friends.

He also asked the shopkeeper for mail order pamphlets and if there was some sort of pamphlet that showed what the store had in stock. He planned to keep an eye out for books that he could read to expand his knowledge. The shopkeeper handed him two pamphlets and Harry thanked him and told the shopkeeper he would likely hear from him soon.

When Harry arrived at the room that he was staying in he sat down and wrote letters to Professor McGonagall and Hermione.

Professor McGonagall,

I have spent a great deal of time up to this point in the holidays thinking about my future. If you are not already aware something happened at my relative's house and I will not be letting that happen again. I have been to Diagon Alley twice so far and have bought quite a few new books. Some of these books are in ancient runes. If it is not too late, I would like to change my schedule from Divination to Ancient Runes. If you believe that there are any other adjustments that should be made, please let me know.

I have mailed a letter to Professor McGonagall to switch classes from Divination to Ancient Runes. I was at Flourish and Blotts a couple of times so far and looked at books for both subjects. Divination seems to be a subject that is useless for people unless they have some seer abilities. I also remember you saying that you were having a hard time choosing your classes. Knowing what happens when you can't decide on something I have a feeling you are going to attempt to take all of the available subjects.

I think that you should sit down and think about what you really want to do. Unless you have seer abilities divination would probably be useless. I would imagine that you would want to walk out of that class and work on something more important. Also, from what I have seen the magical community is behind the times. Do you really think that you need to take muggle studies. I am sure the class is so backdated that much of the things the muggles have done recently are not included. I think that this would be a class that would be important for those from pureblood society and those that lived in the Wizarding World.

Maybe you could ask some of the adults that we know about the classes that they took and the classes that they would suggest you take.

Harry attached these letters to Hedwig, gave her a treat, and asked her to take the letters to McGonagall and Hermione. He also asked her to wait at Hermione's to see if she wanted to send a return letter.

AN: I plan on having one more chapter concerning the summer holidays before I send them back to school. This chapter will likely be some training with Sirius and hanging out with Susan (and maybe Hannah).
