Almost all of the members of Fairy Tail have been kidnapped. Only Happy and Carla haven't been kidnapped. Join them on their adventure to find their friends. Rated M for violence, Language, blood and gore, etc. Later on I might add a lemon, but I probably won't. But you never know.

21. Chapter 21

Well. Here we go again! Time for some story. And maybe some control for Carla's hormones.

Carla: FINALLY! ABOUT TIME TOO!

Happy: *blushes*

Chapter 21: Happy and Carla find out who Their Parents are.

Fateweaver called for Zeref. Zeref walked into the room and asked, "Yes Fateweaver?" Fateweaver replied, "Change out the monsters guarding the guild group. I want you to send one of your Demons." Zeref gasped and said, "Isn't that a bit much right now?" Fateweaver replied swiftly, "No. I found them." Zeref looked shocked and said calmly, "You don't mean the Infernal Exceed and the Heavenly Exceed do you?" Fateweaver nodded and said, "Happy is the Infernal Exceed and Carla is the Heavenly Exceed." Zeref nodded in understanding and asked, "Any preference for the Demon?" Fateweaver replied slowly, "Make it one of your weaker ones or one who has been defeated in the past by Fairy Tail. We need to start the mates slowly. Their power will grow daily. And never send E.N.D. at them. Do not ever let anyone send E.N.D. Natsu is an important member in Happy's and Carla's life and in Fairy Tail. We may be looked at as the villains for this story that will be told in history, but we aren't. Sending E.N.D. would make us villains." Zeref nodded in understanding and said, "Of course Fateweaver. I will send Lullaby to guard. I will tell it not to use its song until Happy and his group show up. Can I get that type of control over it is the question. Just got to reconstruct it with my Black Magic. It will be in its true form. Not its flute form where anyone can play the song." Fateweaver nodded as he said, "Make it a higher pitch frequency only Exceeds can hear." Zeref nodded and said, "I will do my best." Fateweaver flashed an almost toothless grin and said, "Dismissed." Zeref nodded and left.

Back with the traveling group:

Happy's eyes slowly opened. He blushed dark red as he remembered last night. He had vanquished hormones from his mind and body by sheer willpower. He noticed he had pulled Carla as close to his body as possible so their bodies were pressing together tightly. Happy blushed even more as he realized Carla was completely naked. Happy nearly fainted as he realized Carla had practically wrapped her body around his.

Happy let his eyes rest on Carla's face and he felt himself relax even more as he purred quietly. Suddenly, a voice said, "Happy? Carla? Where are you two at?!" The voice paused for a moment and then Happy heard chuckling as the voice continued, "I see. Damn bro. You work fast little buddy." Happy blushed at Natsu's voice. Happy opened his mouth to say something when he felt Carla move beside him. Happy immediately looked down as Carla slowly woke. Carla opened her brown eyes and smiled as she saw Happy looking at her. She purred quietly and got up and stretched felinely. Happy immediately turned away. Carla giggled and said, "Happy. It's fine. You've already seen my entire naked body. Even that. No need to be so shy now. If I didn't want you to see, I wouldn't sleep completely naked with you. Thanks to you I have a slight amount of control over my hormones. But not full control. No mating for now." Happy nodded and replied shyly, "Natsu saw your wind barrier. He said that I work fast." Carla giggled and said, "Well. You don't. You work like a gentleman. If you truly worked fast, we would've mated without a second thought. Now." Carla smirked and posed naked while holding two of her dresses. One was blue and white. The other was pink but shorter than her usual dress. Carla asked, "Which would look better on me?" Happy blushed and looked at both of them. Happy said slowly, "The blue and white dress was one of the first dresses I ever saw you in. I will always remember the day we met. But the pink one matches your pink bowtie on your tail. I think both of them are cute. However, I think the pink one would work better so it matches your bowtie. And I haven't seen you wear the pink one lately." Carla smiled and put the other dress back in her bag. Carla's precognition kicked in. She saw Happy by the Fairy Tail guild hall facing off against a giant creature made of wood. Happy began a chant and his body ignited in fire. After Happy finished his chant, Happy's voice was deep and demonic as he said, "You killed my mate. The price for such an unforgivable sin is your life! I WILL CONSUME YOUR NON EXISTENT SOUL!" Carla looked over and saw her body. She gulped in fear, but realized she saw herself breathing.

Carla's precognition faded. She saw Happy's gaze and noticed concern in them. Happy asked, "Are you okay Sweetie?" Carla nodded slowly. She thought to herself, blocking her thoughts from Happy, 'What the hell was that?! And why did Happy think I was dead?! Wait. Why was the Fairy Tail guild hall rebuilt!' Happy sighed with relief as he said, "I have a bad feeling about something in Magnolia. I am gonna go check it out. I will regroup with all of you later." Carla gasped and said, "NO!" Happy looked shocked, but Carla began to explain her vision to him.

At the end, Happy's body was shaking in anger. He hissed, "Then you need to stay behind. I was gonna ask you to join me, but I refuse to let you die! NOT WHILE I AM STILL STANDING!" Carla made her wind barrier vanish. She put on her short pink dress. Carla hugged Happy tightly and said as tears flowed from her eyes, "I don't want you to go. Please! What if that creature kills you?! I don't even know what it was!" Happy slowly calmed. He replied shakily, "That creature you saw was Lullaby. One of the demons in the Book of Zeref. One of the weaker ones. I thought Fairy Tail destroyed it, but Zeref must've reconstructed it with his Black Magic." Carla said, "If it's one of those, you can't go take it on!" Happy replied slowly, "I have to. If Lullaby is guarding the Guild Hall, that means some of our friends are there." Happy left the cave and walked away from Carla, before she could say anything.

As Happy left the cave, he heard Natsu say, "There's the man of the hour! Sealed the deal eh?" Happy replied loudly for everyone to hear, "I didn't seal the deal friends. I regained control over my body before it happened." Lector said, "What?! No Exceed has managed to fight off the hormones for the first session!" Wendy asked innocently, "What does seal the deal mean?" Happy was about to reply when he heard Carla behind him say, "Nothing Wendy. Nothing you need to worry about right now. I will explain more when you get old enough." Wendy nodded in understanding. Happy raised his voice again and said, "I will be going back to Magnolia! I will begin rebuilding the Guild Hall, and before anyone asks why. I just have a bad feeling something is gonna happen there. I should be able to handle it on my own." Natsu replied, "We can't split up buddy! Take me with you!" Carla hissed at Happy, "I told you not to go. I don't want you to die Happy! You haven't recovered all your Magical Power! At least take me with you!" Happy replied seriously, "We both know why you can't come with Carla. And no Natsu. This is something I need to do on my own. Choose a Leader. I will be back." Happy muttered to himself, "Hopefully." Happy used his Aera Magic as six wings of fire erupted from his back. He took off into the air and flew towards Magnolia.

Carla watched him go and she sighed in defeat as she muttered, "Stupid tomcat. If he goes alone, he will die. I know I shouldn't go, but I have to." Carla let a tear fall and looked down. The bushes around them rustled and everyone dropped into a defensive position. They all relaxed as a wolf walked towards them. Carla mewed, "Welcome Logan." Logan dipped his head respectfully to Carla and said, "I see the Alpha Male took off." Sting said, "Yeah. Something about going back to Magnolia." Logan sighed and said, "I feared he would. Why didn't you go with him Carla? Did you two fight?" Carla shook her head and replied, "I-It's complicated." Logan nodded in understanding and said, "Well. I was told by the Alpha Male to let him know if I found anything weird. A group of cats have appeared near Magnolia." Carla and Wendy gasped. Wendy said, "Exceeds? What are they doing here?!" Carla shook her head and replied hastily, "I don't care that I shouldn't go. I am going to catch up to him immediately! He has to know this!" Carla summoned her wings and didn't realize she had four as she shot towards where Happy went. Everyone looked at her in shock and Frosch said, "Four Aera wings? When the hell did she get four?!" Natsu asked Logan, "Can you tell us what is happening at Magnolia?" Logan shook his head and said, "I am under strict orders from the Alpha Male to keep that secret. All I can tell you guys; is that they will be fine." Natsu nodded in understanding. Logan said, "Also. When they get back, tell them the injured wolves have finally healed and the pregnant wolves gave birth. Life in the pack is good. We are all just about ready to fight with them. I bid you good day." Logan turned around and left.

Happy was flying when he heard something behind him. He was hurting that he left Carla behind, but he did it to save and protect her. He turned around and got knocked out of the sky. He quickly regained control over his fall and summoned his Aera wings again. He put two large fireballs in each paw. He stopped when he saw Carla was falling. Happy extinguished the fireballs. Happy yelled, "CARLA NO!" Happy said, "Hellfire White Fist boosters!" White flames appeared around his paws and he let his Aera wings vanish to increase speed. The white flames around his paws shot backwards from them increasing his speed. He closed the distance quickly. Happy wrapped his arms around Carla and turned around so he hit the ground first. Blackness was all he saw when he hit the ground.

Carla woke up, her entire body in pain. She looked around and saw blue arms around her through her daze. Carla gasped as she realized one of Happy's arms was bent at an awkward angle. Happy slowly stirred and winced in pain as he looked at his arms. He muttered, "Great. Broken arm. Just what I fucking need." Carla slowly got off of him and said sadly, "I-I am sorry Happy. It's my fault. I used way too much of my Heavenly Exceed Magic to catch up quickly. I couldn't see anything and I tackled you out of the air accidentally. I am so sorry." Carla winced as she felt Happy's pain. Happy shook his head and said, "It's fine. But this is gonna hurt us both. A lot." Happy grabbed the arm bent at an awkward angle. He said, "I want you to bite into my shoulder as hard as you need to to relieve the pain. Keep biting even if you taste blood. Cause this is gonna fucking hurt." Carla nodded and walked over and placed her mouth on Happy's shoulder. Happy took a deep breath to ready himself and snapped the arm back to the proper angle. Carla bit deeply into Happy's shoulder as she felt Happy's excruciating pain, blood immediately erupting into her mouth. Happy hissed loudly in pain. He didn't even feel Carla's bite. Carla said in pain, "How often have you done something like that?" Happy replied, clearly in pain, "Not often. Never had a broken bone. Just relocated joints and ligaments. I've never had to snap a bone back in place. I'd ask you to use your magic to heal me, but I can tell you're running on empty. Let's see if I can use my Hellfire to heal like I think I can. Wait! I remember. I will use your magic." Carla looked shocked as Happy's body erupted in a white aura. He placed his paw over his broken arm and said, "Heavenly Exceed, Heal Major Injury!" Nothing happened and Happy said, "Heavenly Exceed, Heal Minor Injury!" White light erupted from his hand as it mended the bone back into place. Happy muttered, "Good to know a broken bone is a minor injury. The major injury is probably for the likes of death blows." Carla looked at Happy in shock.

Happy smiled and said, "Remember the kiss where we had white and orange auras." Carla nodded and Happy continued, "This is the long lasting effect. We can use each other's powers. It's called the Power Switch and it only happens once every couple millennia for perfect mates." Carla nodded more and Happy used his now-fixed arm to bring her close to him. He said slowly, but firmly, "And what brings you to this part of town when I asked you nicely to stay behind because I don't want you to die." Carla blushed lightly and said, "Logan came to the camp and said there were cats around Magnolia." Happy's facial expression immediately became angry as he hissed, "I swear to god if they try to make us puppets again, I will end them." Carla rested her paw in Happy's and Happy calmed down slowly. Carla said calmly, "Wanna know when I first started to like you for you and grew small amounts of feelings for you?" Happy looked at her and nodded. Carla continued, "It was during the events happening at Edolas. When you stood up for us and told them that we weren't their puppets. And that we were Fairy Tail Wizards. That is also the first time I called you by your name, instead of tomcat. It made me realize that no matter what, even if you have to die, you will protect me. Like when you struggled to get in front of me before Erza Knightwalker struck me dead. You stood in front of me with your arms out and said, that no harm will come to me as long as you, yourself are still alive and kicking Happy. Even though I treated you horribly all the way through the time we first met in the face offs against the Oracion Seis, to the moment you told the Exceeds we weren't their puppets. You always tried to make me happy. And I turned you down. Now I realize I could've been truly happy much sooner if I had just accepted your advances." Happy nodded in understanding as he blushed and he said, "Weren't the other Exceeds looking for the other 98 eggs they sent to Earth Land? I think Frosch and Lector are two of them. So why are they around Magnolia?" Carla mewed, "I don't know. But I think we should find out." Happy looked at Carla and said, "Carla. You will die if you come with. I can't handle losing you." Happy let a tear fall and blushed as Carla wiped it away. Carla replied calmly, "My visions have yet to be wrong. But there is always the chance it is wrong. Besides, I have you to protect me, Happy." Happy nodded in understanding and offered his hand to Carla. Carla beamed and took it.

They took to the sky. Happy had his six Aera wings made of Fire and Carla had her four wings, glowing a dazzling white. Happy looked at Carla's wings and exclaimed, "You have four wings Carla!" Carla craned her neck and said, "I guess I do. When did that happen?"

Natsu, Sting, Wendy, Lector, Frosch, and Rogue stayed at the campsite. Sting said, "We should stay. That way they can find us easily." Natsu argued, "There are still members of our guild waiting for us to find them and rescue them! Happy would want us to go forward!" Lector and Frosch mewed their agreement. Wendy said innocently, "Why don't we put it to a vote? As we have no leader, only democracy can lead us right now." Natsu nodded and said, "Great idea Wendy. All in favor to keep going?" Lector, Natsu, Frosch, and Wendy raised their hands. Sting sighed and said, "It's settled then. We will keep going. Happy and Carla can find us on their own." Wendy nodded as she said, "I will still worry about them." Lector mewed calmly, "Happy is the most powerful among us all. His magic is more powerful than Godslayer magic. And if they get injured, Carla can heal them with her Heavenly Exceed magic. Besides, maybe Happy and Carla wanted to get alone for…. Reasons." Natsu shook his head as he said, "Well. No need to dwell on it now." They all nodded and packed their things and took off north.

Happy and Carla decided to rest as night fell. Happy mewed, "I will take the guard duty for the night." Carla mewed, "NO! You need to sleep to recover your magic energy." Happy chuckled and said, "As long as you are here, I will recover my magic energy ten times faster than normal." Carla hissed, "Maybe so! But ever since you activated your powers, you have never been able to fully recover your entire pool of magic energy! I know damn well your store is maybe an eighth of the way full. You might get lucky and recover half of your magic as long as you use none tonight! Even with me here! Both of our stores of Magic Energy are massive for some reason! It is almost as if we are celestial beings with damn near infinite magic potential and magic energy!" Happy understood her concern and said, "Tell you what. We will do two shifts. I will take the first half and you can sleep. You will take the other half so I can sleep. I will carry you in the morning so you can sleep more." Carla calmed down and said, "Fine. That's better than you risking your life." Happy nodded and leapt at Carla and pinned her. Carla blushed and craned her neck to let Happy see as much of her as he could. Happy deeply kissed Carla and Carla kissed back deeply. Happy mewed, "Now sleep beautiful. I will wake you in four hours." Carla nodded, taking fast breaths to overwhelm her hormones flowing through her. Happy got off of her and took a blanket out of his backpack. He placed it over Carla and she purred.

Happy's shift went by with nothing happening. He was about to wake Carla when he heard the bushes rustle. An Exceed with white fur and gray eyes, with diamond patterns dotted around them, as well as a piercing on her left ear walked out of the bushes. Happy immediately recognized Shagotte. Happy hissed as she approached. Shagotte said calmly, "It's fine. I won't hurt you. I thought I recognized your scent. Is Carla with you?" Happy had jumped into a defensive position in front of Carla's unconscious body with fire in his paws. Shagotte gasped in shock. Carla slowly stirred and saw Happy in front of her with fire in his paws. She got up quickly and saw Shagotte. Carla placed her paw on Happy's and he calmed down as the fire extinguished. She scolded him gently, "Silly Tomcat. Your magic energy will never recover if you keep using magic." Happy nodded in understanding and Shagotte went to approach Happy when she smelled a scent coming from Happy that told her to stay away. Shagotte said, "So you have a mate?" Happy nodded and pulled Carla close to him. Carla purred loudly and said, "I am his mate. We haven't mated yet. We almost did a couple nights ago, but Happy regained control and vanquished his hormones." Shagotte gasped in disbelief and said, "No one has fought off the hormones of the first mating session!" Carla nodded and continued, "He also helped me regain control of my hormones. We both decided to mate when our hormones are no more, so it is our love for each controlling our movements. Not hormones." Shagotte muttered something and said, "I have to tell you something Carla." Movement rustled the bushes behind Shagotte. Happy ignited his paws in fire again and got ready to fight, but he immediately extinguished the flames when he saw an eldery female Exceed who was the spitting image of him besides baby blue for her cheeks walk out. Another Exceed walked out that was an elderly-looking Exceed sporting white fur, thin black facial hair and a mono-brow. They were wearing the same clothes as when Happy and Carla first met them. Happy mewed, "Hey Marl. Hey Lucky." Lucky said, "KAAHH! What are you doing here?! Get back to your guild KAAH!" Marl shook her head and smelled a scent from Happy and gasped in disbelief. Lucky smelled a scent coming from Carla and grumbled to himself. Marl said to Lucky, "He has a girlfriend. Our son has a girlfriend!" Happy gasped in disbelief and said, "I-I am your son?" Lucky and Marl nodded as Lucky said, "I don't know how my son is so childish! KAAAH!" Carla said sweetly, "Hey you two. I was wondering when our paths would cross again. I am his girlfriend and his mate. And Lucky, your son has matured quite a bit."

Shagotte said, "Now Carla. We have found most of the Exceed eggs we sent to Earth Land to have a better life. So. I need to come clean." Carla looked at Shagotte with curiosity clear in her eyes as Shagotte continued, "I-I am your mother, Carla. That's why you have clairvoyance." Happy gasped in disbelief and said, "M-My mate is a Princess. My mate is actually a Princess. Holy Mackerel. I-I am the mate of royalty. That means…" Carla shook her head to clear her shock and said, "I had my suspicions, but thank you for telling me." Shagotte nodded and blushed as Carla ran at her and hugged her tightly. Shagotte hugged back. Happy walked over to his parents and hugged them tightly. Lucky said, "KAAAH! NO HUGS!" Marl wiped tears of joy from her eyes and hugged Happy. Happy backed up and smiled as he asked, "Mind if I ask what you three are doing here." Shagotte replied slowly, "We came to tell you that we were your parents. Would you like to meet the others?" Happy looked at Carla. Carla said without hesitation, "It would let you recover your magic energy. Just try not to burn any toms that approach me to a crisp. You can beat them up or scare them. I will deal with the she-cats that approach you." Lucky eyed Happy curiously and said, "A runt like you can fight?" Happy nodded and said teasingly, "Want a taste Dad?" Lucky laughed and said, "You do know I was in the Extalia army right?" Happy nodded and yelled, "REQUIP! ARMOR OF LUCIFER!" A yellow glow appeared around Happy as an armor made entirely of fire surrounded him. Lucky's jaw dropped and he said, "Y-You have other magic besides Aera?! And what happened to our family's armor?! KAAAH!" Happy's voice was deep as he shook to keep control over the overwhelming power from the armor, "I possess a lost magic that I named Hellfire. I used it to forge the family's armor into its true form." Carla nodded as she hissed, "I told Happy not to do it, but did he listen? No. He could've died using that forbidden spell to forge it into its true form!" Happy made the armor vanish and he fell to one knee as he coughed up a large mouthful of blood. Carla ran over and gently wiped the blood off of his lips. Marl said with fear for her son's life clear in her voice, "Happy!"

Shagotte said, "I-I can't believe it. I-It's you two." Carla looked at her mother curiously and Shagotte continued, "Legend tells of two Exceeds who are destined to be mates. One with the power of Hell, and the other with the power of Heaven. They are known as The True Mates. The names of them in the legend are the Infernal Exceed and the Heavenly Exceed. The legend says that they will rise one day and reshape the entire universe into one that is absolutely perfect." Happy and Carla looked at Shagotte in disbelief, their jaws dropped. Carla regained her composure first and said slowly, "There is no proof." Shagotte continued, "There is actually. Happy regained control of his hormones during the first mating session. No one has ever done that. And he helped you regain control of yours." Carla replied sadly, "I don't have full control yet." Shagotte continued, "The Legend also says that the Infernal Exceed and the Heavenly Exceed can fight off the hormones of the first mating session. You two are the Exceeds in the legend." Happy took a shaky breath and said weakly, "I don't care about being the all powerful Infernal Exceed! I just want to protect my friends, guild, the world, and the love of my life." Carla blushed as Happy slowly stood up. Happy shook with exhaustion as he stood up. Carla said, "At least let me take some of your weight, Happy!" Happy nodded and leaned heavily on Carla. Carla looked at Shagotte and nodded as she said, "Take us there mother." Shagotte nodded and turned around. Lucky and Marl were next to her. Carla and Happy were behind them.

Natsu had left the temporary camp they made when night fell with Sting and Lector to gather wood for a fire and to hunt. Wendy was at the camp with Frosch and Rogue. Wendy sighed and Frosch said to her, "They'll be fine. Besides, Happy will probably fight anything that approaches them to defend them. He is as hot-headed as Natsu." Wendy giggled weakly and said, "I guess you're right."

Shagotte, Marl, and Lucky led Happy and Carla to the campsite near Magnolia that the other Exceeds were at. Everyone looked at them and Happy heard a tomcat say, "It's that hot she-cat. And with that tom again. They must be a couple." A she-cat mewed, "Shame. He's so handsome. But the smell coming from him clearly states he has a mate." A tomcat mewed, "I don't care. I will steal her heart." A gray, black, and white tomcat approached Carla. Carla was about to say something when she saw blue fur in front of her. Happy ignited his paws in fire and began making a large Fireball as he hissed, "Back the fuck away from my mate. If you so much as make any type of move that signifies anything sexual, I will burn you into a pile of ash and feed you to the fish." The tomcat gulped in fear as many voices said, "H-He has fire magic! How?!" Carla placed her paw on Happy's to diffuse the situation. The extremely dangerous fireball capable of blowing up a guild hall vanished. Happy looked at her and waited for the rebuttal of using magic. Carla said, "Now now. Play nice Happy. Or you won't get any. Use your fists. Not your magic. At least fight fairly, even though you could take on the entire Extalia army with just your fists and come out mostly unharmed." Every she-cat gasped in disbelief and they all said, "WHAT?! How could he do that?! He must be one impressive fighter. Makes me want him." Happy blushed insanely red and Carla's body ignited in a powerful white aura as she said, "No She-cat will ever lay their filthy hands on Happy! He is my Mate! Not yours! BACK OFF! Or I will blow you away!" A windstorm kicked up around Carla. Happy immediately leapt at her and gently pinned her against a tree and kissed her deeply. The windstorm slowly died down as Carla kissed back and purred. Happy chuckled and said, "Talk about over kill. I thought I was the thick-skulled one who resorted to violence first like Natsu. Calm down, or even after you regain control of your hormones like I have, you won't get dicked down for a month." Carla's face blushed insanely red and mewed shyly, "Y-You wouldn't dare. That's horrible! I have been fighting the need for you inside me for almost a month and a half now since we first confessed!" Carla blushed more as she realized everyone was looking at them. Shagotte's, Marl's, and Lucky's jaws dropped. Happy didn't mind and said, "Oh. Yes. I do dare. You need to act like the mature and dignified she-cat I fell in love with. Leave dumb shows of violence to me. Got it?" Carla didn't know why, but she loved this show of dominance from Happy. She said slowly, "Y-Yes. I got it Happy. Sorry." Happy smiled and unpinned her from the tree as he said, "Good. Now. Let's get going. And I promise not to burn any tom cat that approaches you to a pile of ashes." Carla nodded and said, "I promise not to blow away any she-cats that approach you. But I will scare them. No one gets to kiss, touch, etc. you except me." Happy smiled and said, "I agree. No one gets to have you or even approach you in a mildly sexual manner except me. If any tom in particular gives you a problem, tell me. I will teach them their place and teach them to respect the Mark of Mates."

Carla mewed her appreciation and everyone except Shagotte, Lucky, and Marl looked at Carla and Happy in fear. Happy mewed calmly, "Just. Don't approach either of us in a sexual manner and you will be fine. It's been a struggle lately." Carla nodded and mewed, "We haven't mated yet so we're both high strung and easily irritable. We fought off the hormones of the first session. Well. More like this hunk of an Exceed vanquished his hormones from his body and helped me regain control." A tom-cat said, "So she is free game? Sweet! Time to make a move." Carla looked shocked at the stupidity of tom. She hissed loudly, "How can you be so ignorant of the Mark of Mates you stupid Tomcat! God! This is why I hate most Tomcats! I can only control Happy's anger to a certain extent! HE MIGHT ACTUALLY KILL YOU FOR SAYING THAT! YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT!" She felt Happy tense in anger beside her and she went to calm him down but it was too late.

Happy went into his battle form, growing 6 times in height, his muscles bulged as fire ignited around his body. All the she-cats squealed in glee from his new appearance and a tomcat said, "H-He's a blue Pantherlily! AND HE'S ON FIRE! HOW DOES THAT NOT HURT?!" The tom-cat that made the mistake of disrespecting the Mark of Mates gulped in fear. Happy walked towards the Tom-cat that said something stupid, the ground below him giving way with each step as Happy's magical power surrounded the area. Happy fought to regain control of his battleform. He heard Carla yell, "DON'T YOU DARE KILL HIM HAPPY! REGAIN CONTROL! I BELIEVE IN YOU!" Carla's voice reached his ears just in time as he regained control of his overwhelming anger and shrunk back to his normal size. Happy's fur was still on fire as he approached the green tom-cat that said the thing that pissed him off. The tom-cat backed into a wall of a house and couldn't move.

Happy reared his flaming fist back and punched just above the tom-cats head. The house immediately broke from the force of the hit. Parts of the house were scattered around. The tom-cat's eyes went white from fear as the house behind him was no more. Happy hissed menacingly, "If you so much as look at Carla with any sort of look besides respect and friendship, my fist will find its mark next time. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" The tom-cat gulped in fear and said, "Y-Yes sir." Happy extinguished the fire on his pelt and walked back to Carla. Carla looked at Happy and said, "I believed in you. However, you used a lot of magic there." Happy nodded in understanding and mewed, "Sorry. He made me angry." Carla looked at Shagotte, Marl, and Lucky. Shagotte finally regained her composure and said, "Well…. I never expected to hear that conversation between you and Happy out in the open. Especially since you're my daughter." Everyone except Happy, Marl, Carla, and Lucky looked shocked. All the Exceeds dropped to a knee in front of Carla. They said in unison, "We are sorry. None of us had any idea you were Shagotte's daughter." Carla looked shocked but said, "It's fine. Nobody knew except my mother and Happy's parents." The Exceeds looked at Happy and said, "We are sorry as well. Forgive us. We had no idea you were royalty." Happy's jaw dropped but he regained his composure and said, "I don't care if I am royalty or not. Just because I am Princess Carla's mate, doesn't mean I am royalty. I am just lucky she loves me. However." Happy pointed his tail to the ones who disrespected the Mark and continued, "Respect the Mark. Carla won't be able to control my anger if it reaches its utmost level. I am giving you a fair warning. Especially you." Happy pointed to the green tomcat that Happy had scared half to death. Happy asked, "What's your name?" The green tomcat gulped in fear and said weakly, "I-It's Sly." Happy mewed, "Sly. Alright. I am willing to look past your disrespect for the Mark this one time. I am sure I scared you half to death with the punch that obilierated a house." Sly mewed weakly, "Y-You did. That was my house you destroyed with a single punch." Happy sighed and said, "I will help you rebuild it after I rest." Sly looked shocked, but said, "A-Alright Prince Happy." Happy shook his head and said, "Just call me Happy." Sly nodded and Happy walked towards Carla as his vision blurred.

Carla felt Happy's exhaustion and immediately rushed forwards and caught him before he fell down. She said, "Happy. You used all your magic energy didn't you?" Happy didn't reply and Carla sighed as she said, "You're never gonna regain all your magic energy unless I force you to sleep for the next couple of days." Carla picked him up and set Happy on her back. Carla looked at her mother and asked, "Where is your place? Or even Marl's and Lucky's. Happy needs to rest." Shagotte smiled and said, "We actually made you and Happy your own place. I had a vision that we would meet you soon. We all helped build it. It's the largest place with the most room for obvious reasons. Consider it my gift as your mother and my gift for sending you to Earth Land and making you think you had to kill your Dragonslayers. And for making you feel like a puppet. I am truly sorry." Carla blushed and mewed, "I already forgave you after you told us the real reason. Thank you."

Lucky said, "KAAHHH! My boy can actually handle himself in combat. I think I will teach him advanced paw-to-paw combat when he finally wakes. But you guys might be stuck here for a bit so I can teach him all I know. I will also teach you basic paw-to-paw combat if you'd like Princess Carla. I may be old but I can still pack a mean punch." Carla smiled and said, "Just call me Carla. Everyone, just call me Carla. I would appreciate it, but I'd have to talk to Happy when he wakes. We are on a quest." Marl mewed calmly, "Don't overdo it Lucky. You aren't as young as you once were. I don't even know if you can use your battle form anymore." Lucky said, "I can. It just saps my strength quickly because I am not as young as I used to be." Shagotte replied, "Lucky and Marl. Lead Carla and Happy to their house." They both nodded and began walking to the furthest side of the camp. Carla's jaw dropped as she realized how big it was and what it was. She said, "I-It's a castle?! WHY?!" Marl giggled and said, "Queen Shagotte demanded it be a castle. As you two are the next leaders of the Exceeds."

Carla sighed and said, "I guess it is inevitable isn't it?" Lucky nodded and led them inside the castle.

Carla: Where is my control over these irritating hormones?!

Me: Hey now. It will happen. I did bring you guys to a castle didn't I? And the only ones that are gonna be in it YOU and HAPPY! Maybe I got you two alone for a reason.

Carla: *blushes and mutters something*

Me: That's right. I have it all planned out.

Happy: *Wakes up* Now. Tell Trenton how the story is going! Until next time!
