Sarah Walker is a hurt, angry assassin working for Langston Graham. Her lingering hatred of all men makes her the perfect weapon, but not so good at interacting with people. When she gets sent to retrieve valuable secrets and to kill the man who had received them, she is completely unprepared for what she finds.

Chuck is a very physical touch kind of guy. Sure, he can express his love in many other ways, but one of them is mainly through cuddles, hugs, and caresses (but not in public). Maybe the fact that he was abandoned by both parents in his childhood influenced this and made him a little more sensitive to this kind of demonstration of affection. Post finale.

What if Casey followed through on his orders to kill Chuck. What were his reasons and what would it do to his relationship with Sarah. Was killing Chuck the answer or would they give Casey the answers he needed to redeem his actions.

This idea came to me last night before bed, and I remembered that, despite reading many fanfics about the ending, this detail was never mentioned. An old relationship that, as it appears in the series, was significant, in my opinion, wouldn't be so easily forgotten.
