Hope that you guys like the previous chapter, I think?
Yeah, I doubt it because considering my track record, I don't know if it is up to anyone's fancy, but give me a break, okay?
I guess even to this day, I still find myself to be far inferior in comparison to other much better author and while being helped by ToolBaz could have worked, finding out that relying on AI is not exactly a good thing when even ToolBaz has it's own flaws that I need to fix it up.
Anyway, on with the story.

In the middle of the night, a blonde woman is walking down in the empty dark halls of the mansion as she holds a book in hand as she giggled and said, "Fufufu... Three new victims for us all to torture... Oh, what luck... And I believe that Aria wanted to torture that Sayo girl... Can't blame her, though... How dare that girl has far nicer hair than my daughter..." She said as she gives a demented giggle, "Wonder what I will write in my-"
Suddenly, she yelped in shock what she heard a cackling sound, hearing a thunderous storm as she look outside in confusion, "That's strange. Was there a storm coming?" She said, not knowing that there was a storm on the way.
Before she could continue on her thoughts, her eyes widened in shock as she felt a pain from her back to her abdomen, looking down to see that a glowing spear head had jutted out from her abdomen as she cough up blood.
The spearhead wrenched itself out as the woman can only collapsed to the floor, trying to hold her bleeding stomach which has it's guts and intestines spilling out as Ylith look down upon her still trembling form as he picks up the book she is holding, looking at it's contents and closed it in disgust at what he reads, staring at the dying woman as he said, "You don't deserved a quick and merciful death." in a repulsed tone as he stabbed the woman as the empty dark hallways are brightened by the cackling of electricity.
Sayo screamed in shock and fear as she stands up from her bed, sweat started pouring from her head at the shock she is feeling.
"Sayo..." Tatsumi said as he rubbed her eyes, "If you want to go to the bathroom, at least don't scream."
"It's not that, idiot..." Sayo screeched at him, "Just heard a loud noise, alright?" She excused until another loud thunderous noise had come, making Sayo cover her ears at the thunderous sound.
"Really, Sayo? You still afraid of thunder? That's so-" Ieyasu was about to teased her when he got hit by Sayo throwing a pillow at him in fury.
As Tatsumi just sigh at his friends antics, he will admit that today is getting really stormy, if that is the word and it is also confusing since the weather was actually okay, yesterday.
So, how-
He didn't have a moment to think about when he, alongside Sayo and Ieyasu, heard a commotion outside, even hearing some screaming.
"W-what... was that?" Sayo said in shock and fright.
"It sounds like it's from Aria's Dad..." Tatsumi stated before more commotion are happening and once again, thunder strikes louder and harder as ever.
"I... I d-don't think that's a normal storm..." Ieyasu stuttered out nervously.
"W-way to state the obvious, I-Ieyasu..." Sayo stuttered out to her before another thunder strike is heard, making her cover her ears at the flash of light and the thunderous sounds are happening.
"Come on..." Tatsumi stated as he gets up from bed, "Let's see what is happening."
"Right." Ieyasu said as he gets up from bed.
"R-right..." Sayo stuttered out, still in fear yet nonetheless obliged as they are going to face what's the commotion is about.
In another parts of empty halls of the mansion, a rather rotund man in a suit is cowering at the sight of something terrifying, trying to get away while bodies after bodies of his bodyguards are strewn all across the floor, all of them being killed in such a gruesome and horrific ways where they are either sliced apart to pieces or charred and burned.
The rotund man is nonetheless accompanied by his bodyguards but even they are trembling in fear at the sight of none other than Ylith who moves towards them like a wraith, clutching his spear in hand, the blade itself glowing blue and cackling in electricity as his glowing glaring eyes are at them.
The bodyguards attempted to either charge at him or open fire but Ylith dashed through them, holding the rotund man in the neck as he choked him and hold him aloft.
"Please... Have mercy... I have a daughter..." The rotund man pleaded Ylith but all it did is making the Phantasm move his head towards where their eyes should be, his glowing eyes piercing into the man's very soul.
"Mercy?" Ylith speak as if the man had the audacity to sat it, "After all of what you did to those innocents you have taken, especially with what you planned to those three youths, you expect me to show you mercy?"
The man widened his eyes in shock at the realization that Ylith knows it which the Phantasm also realized as well, "So, it is true. And for that, you don't deserve to be given a quick death. Hope you are okay with having your bones grow on you."
The man is confused by what Ylith said before he gives a gargled scream as something pierced into his neck, courtesy of a bone spike impaling into where his neck is as Ylith let the man go as the man is grabbing his neck, trying to elevate the bleeding and taking what stabbed his neck out.
The bone-like spike, however, then receded into the open wound as the rotund man is started to choke, convulse, spasmed and cough until finally, bone spikes started to spurt out from his body, starting from his eyes, head, back, arm, chest, legs and feet until finally, the man is now hanging, dying and bleeding in some sort of bone tree where all the man can do now is to cough up more and more blood from his mouth, giving only a gargled scream until finally, he expired.
"Now then... His daughter shall be next..." Ylith stated as he wipe off the dust and blood from his hands before looking outside to see a lot of guards are out of the mansion, all of them running around, having sensed the deaths of both the woman and the rotund man.
Ylith then gripped his spear as it's blade started to crackle until finally, he aimed it towards the window.
"Geez... What's with the storm, lately?" Lubbock asked as he and the other members of Night Raid were all hidden beneath the trees as they stare up to see the night sky is entirely covered by the flashes of lightning and the shocking sounds of thunder.
Night Raid had been tasked with assassinating a family that may pose as good samaritans but are in reality, sadistic torturers who take pleasure in torturing anyone they manipulate with their honeyed words, affable demeanor and promises at hand.
However, they were also then told that the Phantasm, who's real name is Ylith, is there as well.
The Phantasm have always been a wildcard amongst the conflict between the Empire and the Revolutionary Army and while he is very obviously against the Empire, if what Sheele had explained to them is any indication, he would always maintained his own lone crusade against the Empire all by himself and have little involvement or even though of making an alliance with both the Revolutionary Army and Night Raid.
Sheele did say that Ylith has a chance that he would join them but even then, she would also explained that incurring Ylith's wrath is a foolish endeavor, especially when Najenda empathize thoroughly that the Phantasm is as dangerous as Esdeath and that is no exaggeration.
And looking at the storm, Night Raid realized who has come to the mansion before them, "Sheele? Leone?" Akame said, looking at the storm ahead.
"Yeah, Akame. I know..." Leone said grimly, "He's here."
"Good..." Mine said, hefting her Teigu in hand, "Let's see how cocky he is, huh?"
"Uh? Mine?" Sheele said, raising her hand up, "Shouldn't we not provoke Ylith to be angry at us?"
Mine just scoffed as she said, "I'd like to see him try once I blow a hole on his head."
"You know that's not what the Boss ordered us to do, right?" Lubbock stated, making Mine grumbled at that.
"Come on, guys..." Bulat said, still wearing his Teigu armour, "Hope that we would meet him when he is in a good mood."
As Bulat said that, a bolt of lightning appeared from the sky and there are a lot of screaming at the horizon, suggesting who is attacking their target's home.
"Doubt it." Lubbock sarcastically stated as the rest of Night Raid approach the mansion to see the situation at hand.
There, they saw Ylith, the Phantasm, has appeared and facing off against the remaining guards and looking at his appearance, it does described what Sheele and Leone had told them.
"You guys are right..." Lubbock said, looking at the Phantasm, "He does look like a wizard ripped straight from a fantasy novel." He stated, looking at Ylith's sorcerer-like appearance.
"More like coming from a fantasy novel." Mine stated as the rest of Night Raid watched as Ylith faced off against the rest of the guards.
And faced them he did as Ylith showcase a wide range of powerful abilities that borders on magical, mystical and supernatural, as he flies around the battlefield, moving like what his title implies and either spin his spear around the area, decimating any of the guards in his way or once fired a bolt of lightning from his glowing spearhead, electrocuting a guard until he has become a charred corpse at that.
Ylith moves with such grace and expertise, spinning his spear as he effortlessly killed all of them guards close to his presence, twirling and spinning as he showed no mercy against anyone and despite being outnumbered, Ylith made killing all of them effortless as he casually swiped his spear to the side, slicing three of the guards, splitting their upper and lower bodies off with ease.
As the Phantasm look upon the aftermath of his carnage, he turned to look at the last survivor who is on the ground, trying to get away as Ylith is approaching him, "Wait... Please... I'm begging you... Spare me..."
"Spare you? After all by being complacent to what the family had done to the innocent, that you expect me to spare you?" Ylith said in his calm and collected manner although he still displayed his glare, especially with his mask.
"I... I had no choice... I just needed the money... And if I interfere, they would make me become their next victim..." The last guard reasoned with him.
Ylith seemed to contemplate this and said, "Well, I guess that is reasonable enough of an explanation..." He said in understanding, "But that is still no excuse. And that excuse has been used by many, many dogs in the Empire before I killed them. What makes you think you're anything different?"
The last guard is unable to speak from that, not knowing how reasoned with Ylith to spare his life.
"Do yourself a good favour and face your end with some dignity..." Ylith told him, "I promise I'll make it painless. That, I can nonetheless honour for one as guilty and yet regrettable as you. Besides, even if I do spare you, will you live with the guilt of what you've done? And of course, what are you gonna do now by being a sole survivor of my aftermath?"
The last guard has a reluctant expression before he finally understands what Ylith said to him before kneeling for the Phantasm, awaiting his execution.
"Thought so..." Ylith said as he deftly swing his spear at the last guard, beheading him as it becomes another corpse amongst the pile.
As Ylith stands in the carnage that he had wrought, the rest of Night Raid all watched in shock at what they are seeing, especially by how incredibly powerful that Ylith had done, especially by how effortless he killed all the guards with ease.
Although the part with his execution of the last guard does show something complex about Ylith and-
"Are you done hiding in the bushes? I can sense your presence."
This made the rest of Night Raid look in shock at what Ylith had said.
'He knows we're here!?'
This shocked them as Night Raid are skilled enough to hide their presence from anyone yet Ylith is able to sense them with ease.
While shocked at such a development, both Sheele and Leone look at each other and nod as they come out from their hiding place, much to the shock of their friends, "Sheele? Leone? What are you doing?"
Ylith stare at the forest to see none other than Sheele and Leone have come out from the bush as they meet while Sheele still carries her Teigu and Leone, on the other hand, sports a pair of lion-like feline ears, paws with sharp claws, foot and a flowing tail behind her.
Ylith look at the girls that he had met before with a sigh and said, "So, it seemed that Night Raid refused to follow what I say. How less than stellar of you all." He drawled out his statement.
"Sorry but we still have a mission to do." Sheele reasoned with him.
"Yeah, sorry. No hard feelings." Leone said, giving a cheeky grin.
"Well, I already finished with the rest here and now, I shall deal with the last worm of this scums of the family and return those innocent youths what you stole from them, Leone of Night Raid." Ylith stated, which made Leone look sheepish as Ylith prepares to disembark, "Now, farewell."
"HEY!" A certain annoying yell from a certain pink haired sniper as she comes out from the bush and yelled, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, TELLING US WHAT TO DO-"
Suddenly, a lightning strike appears from the sky that results in causing such a powerful force that it made everyone stumbled back from the force itself, creating a crater from where the corpses of Ylith's enemies has become charred and burned now.
As everyone stare in shock at such a sight, Ylith then said, "Test my patience and that lightning will be aimed at you. And you know how very, very fast a lightning bolt from the sky is, right?" He said in a cold and threatening edge, "Now, I bid you all farewell." He said as he floats up and fly straight towards where the last target is while everyone is reeling from the fact that Ylith had just called down a lightning bolt from the sky like that.
As Mine is paralyzed in shock at what she had witnessed, Lubbock couldn't help but quip, "So, still think you want to take a shot at him?"
Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu are finally out of the mansion as they tried to escape from the grisly sight while also trying to save the last remaining member of the family which is Aria herself.
The trio look to see that Aria is running to a shed alongside the guard with her, "Aria!" Tatsumi called as Aria and the guard have finally taken notice of the trio.
"Good. You three are here. Now stall the intruders while I try to open the shed for Aria to get in for her safety." The guard explained it all to them.
"You kidding, right?" Sayo said in befuddlement.
"How the hell are we gonna do that-" Ieyasu's words stopped when he sensed a presence as the trio look behind to see none other than Ylith who appears from out of nowhere, his robes billowing like a specter alongside his glowing white hair as he clutched his spear in hand and glared beneath his expressionless glaring mask.
Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu are all looking shocked at the sight of Ylith's bizarre, spectral and haunting appearance as he floats towards them.
Tatsumi and Ieyasu take out their weapons as Tatsumi said, "Well, too late to complain now." He said as he and Ieyasu charged straight towards Ylith who look upon them with a deadpan reaction as he twirled his spear back and tapped the flat end to the ground, causing a force that pushed the two boys back.
Sayo hastily grabbed his bow and arrow and fire at him and with careful precision, she aimed and fire her arrow at Ylith, smiling that the arrow is close to him only for the arrow to suddenly hit a tree, much to Lubbock's surprise, that is, as Sayo look with widened eyes at that, 'Wait, what? How is that possible? How did I miss? That was a perfect shot from this range-' Sayo couldn't continue her thoughts as she was pushed to the side by Ylith who used something that propels her with such a supernatural force.
The guard then takes out his rifle and quickly aimed it Ylith but the Phantasm just fires a crackling bolt of lightning from his spear and hit the guard with it, sending him flying, charred and burned.
Aria can only look in horror at her guard's death before stumbling down as she saw Ylith is now looking over her with an expression of disgust as he twirled his spear and aimed it at Aria, "The price of your sins has come, girl."
"Wait, damn it!" He heard someone yelled as Tatsumi charged at him, easily dodging his swings as he floats to the side as he, alongside Ieyasu and Sayo, are all aiming their weapons at him.
As a fight is about to break out, the rest of Night Raid were all watching the ensuing combat is happening before Leone look in realization on who Ylith is facing, making her wince, 'Jeez, those kids have the most terrible of luck.' Then she looks regretful and thought, 'Guess who's to blame for that, huh?'
Back at Ylith facing off against the trio, the Phantasm them said, "Begone from this, you three. This has nothing to do with you all."
"But you're about to kill her, aren't you?" Tatsumi tells him that.
"Pretty much." Ylith answered without a care, shocking the trio for how unrepentant he sounds.
"With the sound like that, why should we not interfere?" Sayo said, aiming her bow and arrow.
"Yeah. Aria and her family had saved us when we're down. Why won't we return the favour?" Ieyasu said as he brandished his sword.
Ylith just look at them with an expression of annoyance and said, "I was about to ignore you three and finished what Aria has done. But now, I believe I should teach you children the meaning of knowing what to pick your battles..." Ylith then floats up as his spear is glowing and cackles, much to the shock of the youthful trio at such a bizarre sight, "Allow me to teach you the price for your excruciating naivety."
Ylith then disappears in a blink of an eye, making everyone look around, trying to find where the Phantasm is, "Where did he-" Tatsumi didn't have a moment to ask as he was hit in the head, making him stumble to the ground, courtesy of Ylith appearing from behind him and using the butt end of his spear to hit him.
"Tatsumi!" Ieyasu said in worry of his friend before glaring at Ylith, charging at him, "You'll pay for that!"
Ylith, however, just hit without looking with the butt of his spear, knocking him down and making him groan in pain.
Sayo aimed her arrow at the Phantasm and released the string, letting the arrow fly towards Ylith. Yet, despite the fact that the arrow is flying at the center of him, the arrow seemed to miss him, letting the arrow fly straight towards Tatsumi who stands up in a daze before yelping in fear as he duck down to avoid the arrow.
"Sayo... Watch it!" Tatsumi yelled out at her.
"I'm trying!" Sayo said as she fired her arrow at Ylith yet no matter how accurate she is firing at him, the arrow can't seemed to hit the Phantasm.
Night Raid watched the whole fight commenced as Lubbock said, "Damned. She's a really bad shot if she keeps missing someone at such an obvious range."
"No, wait." Mine stated, looking at Ylith who remains unaffected by the arrow coming at him and despite how the arrows are precisely on point at how they fly towards the Phantasm, it doesn't even embedded upon his body, not even hitting him, almost as if the arrow doesn't hit Ylith as if... he isn't there?
As Sayo tries to get more arrows, she realized she has run out, making her eyes widened in shock before looking at Ylith who is now standing over her in such an imposing sight.
Desperately, Sayo tries to grip her bow and takes a swing at Ylith but the Phantasm and just hit her square in the jaw with a backhand, making her get thrown away by the merciless hit as she was flying to the side, landing, tumbling and rolling down at that.
"Sayo!" Tatsumi screamed the girl's name before glaring at Ylith with his sword in hand as he said, "You bastard. You're gonna pay for that."
Tatsumi charge at Ylith with his sword at the ready as he swings at him but the Phantasm just casually dodged the swing with such unnatural speed dash that Tatsumi hits only air.
Looking in confusion yet remains resolute as he keeps swinging his sword at Ylith yet he just casually by just dashing.
Growling in frustration, he yells as he tried to keep on swinging his sword at him yet Ylith keeps on dodging to everywhere around Tatsumi as the boy can only swing wildly, trying to hit Ylith with everything he got yet it is proven to be all but ineffective.
The Night Raid members were all watching the duel between Tatsumi and Ylith, and all of them, even possibly Mine although she doesn't want to admit it, find Tatsumi admirable at how determined he is against a foe that is basically his better.
On the flip side, however, once again, what Ylith is shown to be capable of, it is profoundly bizarre and what Sheele had explained to them, it can't be put to words.
"What kind of training did this guy get to be faster than Akame of all people?" Lubbock stated as Ylith's speed is shown to be almost a blur in comparison to Akame, if that is actually possible.
"No..." Akame states to herself, "I think there is something unnatural about his movement. Something that we don't know of."
"Well, the guy looks like he got out from a fantasy novel or something so..." Mine almost stopped herself, as if she can't believe she is saying this, "Magic."
Every member of Night Raid just look at Mine in disbelief at what she cannot possibly said as Leone just giggled and said, "Wow. Can't believe you actually say that, Mine."
"Shut up, Leone..." Mine screeched at her, "I just... I just don't know what to say about these Ylith guy. And I hate it when I don't know anything."
"Don't know if there is any logical explanation..." Bulat stated, "But then again, there isn't anything purely logical about whatever Ylith is."
Back at the fight, Tatsumi was about to grip his sword up high and attempted to strike him but Ylith just grabbed his wrist, making the boy look shocked as he tried to pry from Ylith's grip only to scream in pain when Ylith crushed his wrists, not enough to actually break his bones but nonetheless let's him release his sword.
Tatsumi then finds himself staring at Ylith in the eye as Tatsumi looks scared at the close proximity of Ylith's sight on him as the Phantasm said, "Know your battles, boy."
Then he kneed Tatsumi in the gut, letting him cough up from the hit as he was dropped to the ground while clutching his stomach.
After he had finally incapacitated the three youths, he then turned around to look at Aria, who is busy trying to open the door shed to get in for safety.
"And where do you think you're going, little lady?" Ylith called out to her, making her yelp in pain as she trembled in fear as the Phantasm approached her, "If you want to beg, don't bother. You have already committed such a heinous act. Nothing you can say will erase what you've done." He said in a threatening manner.
"Hold it!"
But before Ylith would kill her, he was stopped when he heard a voice as he turned around to see that Leone has come out from the bush as she meets with Ylith himself.
Ylith glared at her as he said, "What exactly are you doing? Can't you just see that I am doing your job for you all?"
"By all means, go right ahead. But I just need to show the three kids why you need to kill her, that is. So, can you wait for a minute?" Leone tells him and while Ylith still stares in great reluctance, he just groan in annoyance as he stopped himself.
"Fine. But only for a minute." Ylith tells him which made Leone beamed at what he said.
"Alright..." She jumped in joy before saying, "Come on, guys. Don't be shy. Let's go meet the kids."
"Don't tell us what to do." Mine stated in annoyance alongside Akame, Sheele, Bulat and Lubbock as they all come out from the woods.
Beaming happily, Leone then crouched down as she poked at Tatsumi's face, waking him up as he groaned in discomfort before looking at Leone, who gives a cheeky grin and said, "Hello."
Tatsumi screamed in shock as he recognized who the woman is, pointing at her as he said, "You... You're those boobs from before!"
"That's right. It's the beautiful lady, pleasure to meet you." Leone said nonchalantly, waving at him.
"You..." Leone heard a yell to see Sayo has stand up and glaring at her, "You got a lot of nerve to show your face here. Once I get my hands on you-" She was about to pounce when Akame appeared behind her and hold her tight, much to her shock as she tried to escape, "Hey! Let go of me you-"
Ieyasu then stand up, groaning in pain as he rubbed his head and said, "Ugh... My head... What just happened?"
"Don't worry..." Bulat said as he crouched next to him, "It'll get easier." He said as he gives him a thumbs up.
"Uh... Okay?" Ieyasu said in bewilderment, not knowing how to respond to these admittedly awesome looking armoured guy.
"So..." Leone said, calling out everyone as she speaks in a serious tone, "You guys think that Aria here is innocent..." She said as she approached the shed door and readying her paws, busted open, revealing to everyone what is inside the shed.
Much to their horror, they saw something that cannot possibly be put to words.
Bodies...
All rotting...
Mutilated in the most horrible ways possible, unimaginable beyond doubt with how much torture implements had crafted onto them.
Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu can only stare in shock and horror at the sight while Ylith, alongside the rest of Night Raid sported grim expressions as they take in the sights before them.
"What... What is this?" Tatsumi said in a tone of shock and disbelief.
"This is the true face of the Empire. Aria and her family posed as good honest people that spoke of fake promises and honeyed words but are all kidnappers who abduct any innocent people out of the streets and torture them for the fun of it..." Leone explained to them, "So, even if you saw this, you still think that Aria is innocent?"
"SO WHAT!?" Aria yelled out, sporting a rather demented expression, no longer having the innocent girly expression as she continued on yelling, "YOU'RE ALL ARE NOTHING MORE THAN CATTLE FOR ALL OF US TO SLAUGHTER! PIGS THAT HAS THE RIGHT TO ONLY BE NOTHING BUT FILTH THAT SHALL BE USED FOREVER MORE! AND YOU!" She then pointed at Sayo as she yelled, "HOW DARE YOU HAVE GREAT HAIR!? I'VE WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE MY HAIR PRETTY YET WHAT DOES A COUNTRY BUMPKIN BITCH LIKE YOU DESERVED GREAT HAIR THAN MINE! YOU DESERVED TO PAY FOR-" Aria's ranting is interrupted when Ylith grabbed her by the hair and with a firm grip, slowly started to tore Aria's hair off of her, making her scream in pain until finally, Ylith basically and gruesomely scalped her head and thrown in front of Aria.
Aria can only scream and cried in pain and agony as she kneeled down, holding the scalp of her hair, her head being bleeding and some parts of the brain are exposed for all to see.
Lubbock cringed at the sight, "I gotta say that was a little extreme but I think that's basically karma for ya."
Mine nod at his statement although she can only hold her pigtails in slight fear, not wanting that happened to her.
"MY HAIR! MY HAIR! YOU! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE-" Aria yelled at Ylith before he then punched her with such a force that it both smashed her to ground and of course, blow her jaw off, letting it slide aloft from the blood.
Aria can only give a groan of pain as she held where her jaw is, giving only gargled scream as Ylith stared at her before walking away in disgust, "Do what you want with her. She isn't worth my blade."
"You got it." Leone nod at him as she looked at Akame and said, "Akame."
"Eliminate." Akame said, readying her weapon in hand.
"Wait..." Tatsumi interjected as he approached Aria.
"Seriously..." Mine said in an incredulous tone to him, "After all you saw, you really want to protect her?"
"No..." Tatsumi said as he gripped his sword, "I'll kill her myself."
And without hesitation, he beheads her, making her now mutilated head rolled over before it got squished by Bulat, who stomped Aria's head with ease.
Tatsumi can only sigh as he sheathed his sword as he is together alongside Sayo and Ieyasu who sport sad looks on their faces as well as they hugged each other at the horrible experience they had.
"What kind of place is this!? How can something so cruel exists like this!?" Sayo said, her tone being one that cannot comprehend what she had witnessed.
"It's reality. The sooner you accepted..." Mine said in a serious tone, "The sooner you won't face anymore like this."
The trio can only look down as Ieyasu said, "So, what now? Are we gonna go to our village empty handed? We promise we're gonna make it big in the city but how can we when the city is something like this?"
Then Leone started to hugged them as she said, "Come on, kids. Put that frown upside down because..." She then declared, "You're coming with us!"
"What!?" The youthful trio said in shock.
"What!?" The rest of Night Raid, minus Akame, also stated in shock at what she said.
"Hold it..." Mine interjected, "Who tell you to take them in?"
"Why, me, of course..." Leone declared, "Now, come on. I'll take this cutie..." She said, hugging Tatsumi as he tries to break free.
"Hey, let me go..." Tatsumi said.
"Bulat, you'll take this kid..." She said as she pushed Ieyasu to Bulat who grabbed him as Ieyasu look at him.
"Yo, long time no see, huh?" Bulat said to him.
"It was only just a minute ago." Ieyasu muttered at him.
"And Lubbock, you'll take the girl." Leone said, making Lubbock beamed at this.
"Really?" Lubbock said in a happy tone.
"Just kidding..." Leone said humorously to him, "Akame, you'll take the girl." She said as she pushed Sayo straight towards Akame.
Sayo is now thrown into the embrace of Akame as she effortlessly catch her as Sayo blushed at her predicament, "Don't worry, it'll get easier." She said in a deadpan tone.
"Why would you say that?" Sayo said with a sweat drop.
"Alright. Now, with that out of the way, let's-"
"WAIT!"
Leone's declaration is interrupted by Sheele where everyone has their sights at Sheele who suddenly yells, "What's wrong, Sheele?"
"Aren't you guys forgetting someone?" Sheele motioned her head towards the last one, Ylith who is about to walk away before stopping when he heard what Sheele said as he stares at them.
"Yes? Who is it?" Ylith said sarcastically as Sheele approached him.
"Why, it's you, silly..." Sheele said with a chuckle, "Didn't you forget your deal with me? Yesterday?"
"I did remember. I also told you that I'll think about joining this Night Raid of yours and I'm not joining you now. Goodbye, Sheele and all you, Night Raid." Ylith said as he was about to walk off.
"Good..." Mine muttered as she said, "Don't know if I can handle a guy with a stick up his ass."
"Isn't that pot calling the kettle black?" Lubbock commented to her before he was punched in the gut by Mine.
"Nobody is asking you!" Mine yelled out to him.
Though Sheele looks disappointed, she started to remain resolute as she said, "Wait..." She said, grabbing onto Ylith as he stopped, "Just wait..." She said to him, "Just join us to our home for now and try to give us a chance..." She explained as Ylith stares at her, "If it isn't up to your standards, then you can leave. Okay. No one is stopping you. But please, just join us at our headquarters and give us a chance. Can you?" She looked in a pleading expression to Ylith as the Phantasm stares at her, still having that expressionless mask of hers.
Then Ylith sigh as he said, "Fine. I'll join up. But if it isn't up to my standards, I'm leaving and you can't stop me on this. Understand, Sheele of Night Raid?"
"I understand..." Sheele said with a nod before looking at the rest as she said, "He's coming with us."
"Yeah, you did it, Sheele." Leone said cheerfully at what Sheele did.
"Great..." Mine said as she rolled her eyes.
"Mission accomplished, everyone. Let's go." Akame said as she then carried Sayo in a bridal carry, which she yelped at what she did as everyone leave the mansion away.
All the while, Ylith can only think of as, 'I really hope it'll be worth it...' Ylith sigh as he thought about Sheele, 'Why are you so alike, Sheele of Night Raid?'
Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter because I don't know if I can actually make it work but nonetheless, I have finally done it.
Before I finished this chapter, I would like to say something first...
I want you guys to know that I come up with a story idea, a crossover between Akame ga Kill and Batman, specifically the Dark Night: Metal comic because think about it.
With how gritty Akame ga Kill is, wouldn't it be fitting if it were ever crossover from a comic where a certain most popular and yet, the most overexposed character in the comic series came from?
Alternatively, this has been inspired by that Pokemon/Batman crossover story, 'Pokémon: Dark Multiverse' by 'Pikashades' and the story is amazing, if kind of... Well...
It's just that the story is what will happen if you make a child friendly show having a crossover with a grim dark media, like what will happen when a magical girl anime meets the grim and grit like Puella Madoka Magica.
I mean, it is great but I like the fact that the story would be better suited if it were crossover with Akame ga Kill.
And not just any crossover but a crossover that takes inspiration from 'Akame ga Kill: Wrath of the Ultrabots' and yes, I like the story and I'm not shutting up about it because the story itself, which is an Akame ga Kill/Samurai Jack Crossover, is about the titular Ultrabots having decimated the Empire and now, enemies are now turned to allies as they face off against these unknown threat.
It's just too bad that it has been cancelled and unfortunately, the author who adopted it isn't making it done right.
A shame, really...
Now, I like these kind of Akame ga Kill story, not because that the Ultrabots are absolute badasses who makes everyone their bitch but because the concept is interesting as it makes Night Raid, the Jaegers and of course, Budo, who will confronted by themselves without fighting and be exposed to who their enemies really are and actually work together to fight a common foe and I imagined that it will be a story where there will be character development, world building and something very awesome and optimistic against an enemy that will kill them with ease.
It would seriously break the status quo of making the Empire the sole villain of any story. Because seriously, I get it. It is a corrupt cesspool of crime and villainy where everyone is a mustache twirling one-dimensional bad guys who thought little girls having a footsy with dogs is funny.
It's just too bad that it has been cancelled and I do wish that there will be a nice conclusion for the story itself.
But anyway, that is my idea on the Akame ga Kill/Dark Night: Metal crossover because really, the Dark Knights, minus the Batman Who Laughs, are all interesting and cool and I really wish that someone would make this story idea I have made here.
It is unfortunate that I have no idea what to actually with the story because I don't exactly have knowledge on the comic so, if you guys can make a story like this, let me know in the comments below because I really, really, really want a story similar in concept from 'Akame ga Kill: Wrath of the Ultrabots'.
