Snow Fairy/Funkist

"Flame and Wind"

~Jennifer's POV~

Me and Natsu hurried through the hallways of the train station, checking every room for the dark guild Eisenwald's guild master, Erigor. After a while, the serach seemed endless, we had found no clues to the whereabouts of the Grim Reaper, and the dragon slayer had started to grow restless.

"Natsu, stop!" I called. "The entire building will collapse!" Although that was an exaggeration you were sure he could do that eventually.

The fire mage either ignored or didn't hear me for he broke through another wall. "Erigor!" He yelled, creating another hole in a wall. "Come out, come out wherever you are!"

Noticing that he was only using his destructive flames to get into rooms to look for Erigor you gave him a simple suggestion. "Why don't you just use the door?"

Natsu suddenly stopped and stood still. I ran up behind him and noticed that we were at the end of the hallway. I heard the dragon slayer mutter. "Where is he?"

"Uh Natsu, maybe we should go look outside?" I suggested, knowing that the wind barrier was most likely already in place. I needed to get Natsu and the rest of our team up. Wait, where's Kageyama?!

I quickly turned around and if on cue, the shadow mage rose from the ground, a shadow beneath him.

I grabbed Natsu's arm, trying to turn him around. "Natsu!" The fire mage looked over his shoulder and saw the dark guild member. Almost immediately after that, Kageyama sent out a shower of shadows that hit both me and Natsu. We flew back and into the wooden crates in the back of the room.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while now." You heard the enemy state. "Have you had enough, you Fairy Tail insects?"

I sat up, rubbing back of my head. 'Geez, that hurt a lot!'

I looked over to see Natsu who was stuck upside down in pile of broken wood, his legs sticking straight up.

The fire mage struggle to get out for a second but soon emerged from the rubble, his head going through an amusement park's advertisement poster. "Not you again?!" Natsu shouted at the shadow mage.

I dusted myself off.

Kageyama laughed a little, commenting on Natsu's new accessory. "Wow, you look like an idiot."

"Ah, shut it, Doggie!" Natsu yelled, mispronouncing the dark guild member's name.

The shadow mage stomped his foot on the floor, quite similar as a three year old might if they were having a temper-tantrum. "Get it right, the name is Kage! The name is Kage!"

"It's the same thing really." Natsu said.

Kageyama placed his hand on his hip. "Anyway,I think I got you all figured out the time."

'I highly doubt that.' I thought looking at him with a look of disbelief.

Kageyama continued, "You eat flames to increase your power. Isn't that your big trick? Shouldn't be hard to stamp out."

"Ugh, do ever you stop talk? Are you done with your little evil monologue? You shouldn't underestimate, Natsu. He is a lot stronger than you think." I exclaimed, with an annoyance tone. I really hate when other wizards thought lowly of your boyfriend.

"Shut it, girly! I'll deal with you later." Kageyama stated.

"Hey, don't talk to Jenny that way!" The dragon slayer shouted, burning off the poster around his head, "I really wanna to teach you a lesson,
but I don't have the time!"

Natsu extended his fist towards the Eisenwald member. "Tell me where Erigor is?!"

"Wait, Natsu!" I stopped the mage, "I know where Erigor is, there's no need to fight."

The dragon slayer turned to toward me. "What? How do you know?"

"There a lot of stuff I know, but there a town next to this one where Gramps is having his conference with the other guild masters are! That where he is going!"

"How do you know that?" I heard Kageyama ask.

I turned to him, and smirked at him, which causes him to gritted his teeth as the dark guild member sent out a flurry of shadows that pummeled me, sending me flying into the wall.

I hit the wall with great force, creating an indention but caught myself before hitting the floor and slide on the floor. Almost a split second after Kageyama's attack, Natsu charged at the shadow mage htting him with one of his flaming fists. "Don't touch her!"

The shadow mage was sent backwards but soon found his ground again. "Oh, you'll pay for that!" I was on the floor, and watching as the two mages fought. Kageyama sent multiple attacks at Natsu but the skilled fire mage dodged them all.

"Shadow snake!" The dark guild member sent reptilian like shadows at the dragon slayer. "You can't get away from these!"

"Oh yea!" The fire mage crossed his arms, flame emerging from his wrists and up. "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" He yelled, using the fire to eliminate all of the shadowy snakes.

Kageyama stepped back a bit, intimidated by Natsu. "You're a monster." The dragon slayer landed one final blow on the shadow mage that sent him flying through the wall and into the room next to me, as I was dusting the rubble off of me.

"Are you okay, Jenny?" Natsu asked walking over to nodded. "Yea, I'm alright, handsome." I placed a hand on his cheek, pulling him to kiss. I heard footsteps coming from further down the hallway. "Natsu, Jenny!" I heard Erza's voice. "Do not harm him, we need him alive!"

I looked over in the direction of the requip mage's voice and saw her and Gray quickly running up the stairs to where me and Natsu were. "Huh?" The fire mage gasped as Erza jumped towards him, sword in hand, "Wait! I-I dunno what I did, but I'm sorry!"

Erza's sword narrowly missed the fire mage and instead the wall right by Kageyama's neck.

You will dispel the wind barrier and you will do so without complaint." Erza ordered.

"Eek"

Gray made it up to the top of the stairs and looked at me. Noticing my injuries, he asked, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry." I said to him as I heal my wounds with my sky dragon magic.

Gray looked at Erza and I followed his gaze.

Natsu gave advice to the Eisenwald member. "Just do it man, this chick's a real monster!"

"Shut up! Natsu!" Gray instructed him.

"Understood?" The read head hissed.

"Fine," The shadow mage gave in, "I'll dispel it."

Kageyama groaned, clutching his abdomen. Suddenly, a magic circle appeard on his stomach and someone's hand emerged from it. "Why... Karacka..." The hand disappeared and the dark guild member slid to the floor revealing one of his guild mates in the wall behind him.

"Kage!" The requip mage shouted.

"No," Gray exclaimed, "He was our only way out of here!"

I looked over to Natsu, to see his dumbstruck expression.

"Kage, Stay with us!" Erza tried to wake the shadow mage up. "We need your help! Do you hear me!"

"I think we're losing him, Erza." Gray kneeled beside her.

"You're the only one of us who is able to dispel the wind barrier, just hang on!"

Natsu clenched his fists, "He's one of your own comrades...!" He paused engulfing himself in flames, "He's a member of your own guild, he trusted you and you tried to kill him?!" Karacka quickly fled into the wall, but Natsu was already on his way toward him. "How could you!" The fire mage punched through the wall, sending Karacka flying through the other room. "Is that how you dark gulid members treated each other?!"

"Kage! You need to stay with us!" Erza pleaded.

The ice mage, "It's no use, Erza! He's unconscious!"

"Kathunk"

"We can't let him die, he's our only way out of here!" The S-Class wizard repeatedly slammed Kage's head against the floor.

"But, there's no way, He can't use magic in his condition!" Gray tried to reinsure her.

"If I force him to he will!" Erza continued to shake Kageyama.

"Um," I heard Lucy. "Bad timing, huh?" You turned around to see the celestial mage and Happy. "Hey Lucy. Happy."

"Hi, Jenny. You look hurt, are you alright?" The blue exceed asked. "Yea, you're not looking too good, what happened?" The blonde questioned.

"I'm okay, I heal myself." I assured them. "But we have to hurry and get to Clover. Erigor wants to use Lullaby on the guild masters."

"What? But I thought..."

"Come on." Erza said, carrying Kage on her back. "We have to get outside." The requip mage hurried out of the room and down the hallway and everyone followed after her. I tried to walk, but I knew I wouldn't be able to make it down the stairs without support.

'Damn, I didn't realize it would be this painful. They didn't make it look this bad in the anime.' I thought and then sighed. I watched as my teammates turned the corner but Natsu stopped and turned towards me. "Are you coming?" I nodded. "Uh, yea. I'm just having a little trouble, I'll catch up."

The fire mage looked toward the rest of our team and then back at me. As if making a decision, Natsu jogged back up the stairs and turned his back to me. "Get on." He instructed. I blushed light. "No, it's alright. I can get the-" Natsu cut me off. "Come on, we must get to Clover as soon as possible. Let's go."

I sighed, knowing you wouldn't be able to win this argument. I climbed onto Natsu's back, wrapping my arms around his neck to hang on. The fire mage put his arms in the crook of my knees and ran, quickly catching up with the rest of our teammates.

"I'm feeling better now, thanks Natsu." I thanked the fire mage as he set you down. Now I was feeling well enough to stand on our own. Our team had made it to the outside floor of the station where the wind barrier was accessible.

"We have to stop Erigor!" Natsu exclaimed. "That's easier said than done." Erza stated. "Erigor cut off our only means of reaching Clover and is headed there by air."

"I'm pretty sure that we could catch up to him on the magic mobile, but we can't do anything until we figure out how to get on the other side of this barrier." Gray explained. Lucy asks, "How're we gonna do that?"

"Maybe, It'd be easier if we had someone who could dig holes or something." I said with sighed.
"Ah!" I heard Happy behind me. "I just remembered Lucy!" The exceed skipped over to her.

"Remembered what?" Lucy asked.

"What I was trying to tell you on the way here!" Happy reminded her. "On the way here?" Lucy asked. "Oh yea, you mean when you kept calling me weird?"

"Look!" Happy held up Virgo's key. "How'd you get your paws on Virgo's key!?" The blonde stretched Happy's cheeks. "Didn't anyone ever tell it that it's wrong to steal things?"

"But I didn't steal it!" The exceed defended himself. "Virgo asked me to give it to you." The celestial mage let go of the cat. "Huh?"

"Apparently after Everlue was arrested her contract with him ended. When we were leaving she came up to me and asked if she could be contracted with you, Lucy!" Happy exclaimed.

"Great, I get a big ugly spirit." She sighed, "Anyway, thanks for letting me know, but I'll have to deal with her later. If you didn't realize it right now we have to find a way out of here."

"But Lucy," I explained to her. "Can't Virgo dig holes to get from place to place?"

"Oh yea, she can!" The blonde realized, taking the key from Happy. Lucy stood up, extending the key outward. "I call upon thee, in the world of the celestial spirits, and now I beckon thee to my side at once. Pass through the gate!" She paused. "Open, Gate of The Maiden, Virgo!"

A magic circle formed by Lucy and a pink haired, slim, maid with chains on her wrists appeared from it. Her hand on her chest, she said, "You summoned, mistress? What can I do for you?"

"Who're you?" Lucy asked confused at her appearance.

"What's up Burger? Man you look good, you lost come weight." Natsu greeted her. "My name's Virgo." She corrected him. "I apologize for any trouble I might have caused you."

"She didn't just lose weight, Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed. "She's a totally different person!"

Virgo looked over at the blonde. "I'm a very loyal spirit who will do anything to please their wizard, so I try to take on whatever form I think my wizard will find most appealing."

"I dunno, I kind of liked it when you were all big and tough looking." Natsu told her.

"Did you really? Well then," She transformed back into the 'gorilla-lady'. "I'll switch back if you like."

"No, don't listen to him!" The celestial wizard shouted. "I'm your wizard and I like the other form better!" Virgo transformed back. "As you wish, Mistress."

"I'm afraid we don't have much time." Lucy explained. "Can we work out the contract deals later?"

"Of course, whatever you'd like Mistress." Virgo said. "Do you really have to call me Mistress?'" The blonde crossed her arms.

The pink haired maid looked down at Lucy's whip. "Would you prefer me to call you queen?"

"No." Lucy denied.

"What about princess?" Virgo suggested.

"Oh yea, that's more like it." The celestial mage smirked.

Natsu sighed. "Hurry it up ladies."

"Yes, sir." Virgo replied, digging into the ground. "Now." There was now a hole in the floor leading to the area outside the wind barrier. "Let's get out of here." I instructed. I turned around to see Natsu carrying Kageyama on his back.

"What do you think you're doing?" Gray asked. The fire mage replied. "I know he's just one of our enemies but I'd feel guilty if we left him here to die."

"Alright, let's go."

"Looks like we made it out!'" Gary shouted over the roar of the wind. Erza instructed us. "Let's head towards Clover!"

"Woa! This wind is crazy!" Lucy exclaimed. "Princess, I'll kept your panties from showing!" Virgo said as she tried to cover up Lucy.

"What about your own?" Lucy said.

"Oh wow!"

"It's no use." I heard Kageyama from where he was lying on the ground. "You'll never be able to catch up to Erigor." He paused. "You can't stop us. We've won." You were all silent.

"Where's Natsu?" Erza noticed the fire mage was missing. Gray looked around. "Happy's not here either."

"I think they went after Erigor and heading to Clover.." I exclaimed. "All by themselves!?" The blonde questioned. "Come on!" The S-Class wizard called to us. "Let's go!"

We all packed into the magic mobile Erza had acquired, Gray carrying Kageyama with him.

After a little while of driving on the train tracks to Clover, the silence is broken by the shadow mage. "So tell me," He said. "Why're you taking me with you?"

"Because you obviously need a doctor!" Lucy exclaimed. "And since everyone left town, you'll have to see one in Clover, or Jenny can heal you. Try and show some gratitude."

"I'm debating about it." I said crossing my arms.

"I don't understand." The Eisenwald member stated. "Why're you helping me. We're enemies."

The blonde's expression changed dramatically.
"Oh I get it." He muttered. "You're taking me hostage to make a deal with Erigor. Well you can forget it, he couldn't care less about me or any of his men."

"Jeez, lighten up dude." Gray says, "If you wanna die we can make that happen.' Gray suggested.

"Chill Gray." Lucy instructed.

"There's a whole lot more to this world than just life and death you know?" The ice-make wizard paused. "You should try to look for the positive, you and your Eisenwald pals."

Then the moblie moved to the side, causing us from our seats, Lucy's butt bumped into Kageyama and I landed on Gray's lap.

"Erza!"

"Sorry! It's all right!" Erza apologized.

"I'm sorry!" Lucy apologized to Kageyama.

"Could your butt be any bigger?!" Kageyama said with his hand in his face.

"Sexual harassment! Gray! kill him!" Lucy ordered.

"Hey, now. Don't make my sage advice go to waste..."

I sighed at this.
