A young boy with green hair cut very short and neat sat in his chair in Aldera Middle School in Musutafu, Japan. He idly spun the pen in his hand as he tried to quench his boredom. 'He's glaring again,' thought the boy as he sat there, pretending to listen to the lesson. All the while, he was aware of a pair of murderous red eyes trying to burn a hole in the back of his head as he went over equations in his head and trying not to stand out too much. At least not any more than a Quirkless boy in a class full of Quirked people could, at least. This was Izuku Midoriya. The world he lived in was a world filled with superpowers the population called Quirks. Izuku had the unfortunate luck to be part of the minority. The 20% of humanity born without a Quirk. Because of this, Izuku was singled out and bullied by those who considered themselves his superior because of his lack of a Quirk. But, Izuku had a secret. One that awakened when he learned he was given the news he was Quirkless.

(11 years earlier)

Izuku, after the devastating trip to the hospital that almost shattered his dreams, and after trying to recreate his parents' Quirks, lay in his bed, exhausted after doing nothing but crying. After finally falling asleep, Izuku's mind was subjected to a dream. But part of him told him it was… more than that.

Izuku sat up on his arms, gawking at something that almost seemed like a dream. Golden portals opened in front of him, bringing people to the remains of the isolated compound where he'd spent the last three minutes fighting Thanos, the being responsible for wiping out half of life in the entire universe. Something he'd spent the last day working to undo. And now he had proof it had worked. Doctor Stephen Strange, Bucky Barnes, T'Chala, Sam Wilson, The Guardians… Peter Parker… All back and ready to fight and stop Thanos, the alternate one who'd followed them back to their timeline, once and for all. And they weren't alone, more people like Doctor Strange, the acclaimed Sorcerer Supreme, with glowing circles over their hands, the entire Wakandan army, Asgardians, even his wife, Pepper, in the Rescue Armor he'd made for her. An army of heroes ready to put everything on the line to stop the Mad Titan. With the arrival of Scott Lang, Bruce Banner, Rhodie and Rocket, he pushed himself up.

"Avengers," shouted his friend, Steve Rogers as he called the old hammer of Thor, Mjolnir, to him. "Assemble." With that whisper, carried no doubt by Strange using his 'Mystic Arts' the heroes charged, meeting the Chitauri army head on to keep the Infinity Stones from Thanos. He instantly flew up and met Pepper and Rhodie in the air, ready to provide air support for the ground forces as Scott took out the Chitauri aircrafts and the Wakandans and sorcerers took on the others on the ground.

The battle waged as Clint Barton tried his damndest to keep the Stones from Thanos' forces, passing it off to Peter Parker who utilized his Spider Armor to fend off the Chitauri. His AI alerted him to something entering the atmosphere. The big guns had arrived. He watched as Thanos' flag ship was taken down in an instant and smirked beneath his helmet as he launched a salvo of rockets into the Chitauri and turned to Pepper. "Honey," he said. "Go help Peter! I've got this handled!"

"Don't die," she said as she sped off. Izuku frowned before protecting Thor from a sneaky Chitauri with a Repulser Blast. He grunted as something knocked him from the sky and he landed by Strange who helped him off the ground before diverting his attention to something else.

"Tony," called Rhodie on the Avengers' frequency. "You ok?"

"Doing fine, Rhodie. Just try not to break my suit."

"Given what we're dealing with, that should be the least of your problems!" Izuku/Tony smirked as he sent nano-tech blade into the eyes of one of the aliens before seeing Thanos stop the women who were helping Peter. With a glance to Strange he saw the Sorcerer Supreme hold up one finger and his words before the Snap came to mind. 'This is the only scenario where we win.' He turned to Thanos and saw the Titan putting on the Nano Gauntlet. 'Sorry, Pepper,' he thought as he sped forward and wrestled with Thanos for the Gauntlet, making sure he didn't see the transfer of the Stones as Tony made one last desperate move. Thanos knocked Tony away before fixing the Gauntlet in place and smiling as he held up his hand.

"I am inevitable," he said with a snap of his fingers. Nothing. Tony breathed as he moved the Stones into their correct places as Thanos looked at his Gauntlet in confusion and then surprise before he turned to the genius. Tony grunted as he felt the energy of the Gauntlet surge through him. His entire body was on fire, but he refused to let it deter him as he looked Thanos in the eye as his breathing started getting heavy.

"And I…" he said as his vision started fading. He focused on everything he needed to protect. Steve, Sam, Nebula… "Am…" Peter, Rhodie… "Iron Man." Pepper and his daughter, Morgan. And with that last bit of resolve, he made one single thought. 'Stop Thanos once and for all.' Tony snapped. A flash of light emitted from the Stones and within moments, Thanos' entire army started fading into dust, much like his friends and allies had done years earlier. Tony moved to a pile of debris and slid to the ground as he watched Thanos watch everything he had worked for literally crumble to dust in front of him before he did the same. Tony's vision finally started fading as he dropped the Stones from the Gauntlet to lessen the energy in his body. But he knew it was already too late. His sight strengthened for just an instant, seeing Peter, Rhodie and Pepper directly in front of him. He felt Pepper's hand on his cheek, a cool feeling to sooth the burning he was feeling throughout his entire body.

"It's ok," said Pepper. "You can let go." Tony couldn't say anything as he finally started fading. He'd won. But at a cost. He felt her kiss his cheek, the slight sound of a teardrop clink against his damaged armor. 'See ya soon, Pep,' he thought.

Izuku woke up as his dream ended and he touched his chest. The memory, if that was what it was, was still fresh. Izuku thought what he just saw was just a very vivid and dangerous dream. That was until his mind focused on the armor that he'd been wearing. The Iron Man Armor MK LXXXV. Comprised of adapted nanotechnology from AIM to recreate all of his armor's basic capabilities and weaponized features to allow easy transition into the armor without having to wait for transport from storage if he needed it at a moment's notice and also to avoid having to go through customs by storing it in a briefcase like with his MK XXXIII.

'Wait… why do I know that?'

(Present Day)

Izuku sighed as he heard the release bell ring and gathered his things including his journal before heading for the door. It took him a few years, but he soon worked out he might be looking at memories of a past life. One where he was a hero. One without Quirks but advanced technology to get the job done. After that first dream, more poured in as the floodgates opened as well as the high intellect of his past life. Every single suit of armor from the prototype he made in a cave from a pile of scrap to the nanotech he used in his more recent armors prior to his death as Tony Stark.

"Hey, Deku," shouted a boy behind him. Izuku ignored the nuisance as he continued along. "I'm talking to you!" Izuku turned to the angry blonde and sighed.

"What do you want, Kachan," he asked.

"Oh, so now you talk to me!"

"Well it's better than having you follow me, so yes. What do you want?"

"I heard you were going to take the UA Entrance Exam."

"Whether I do or not is none of your business."

"What was that?!" Izuku pressed a button on his smartphone, made from scratch, and the sprinklers over Kachan, his old childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou, turned on before the boy could send an explosion his way using his Quirk.

"If that's all, I have somewhere to be." Izuku started walking away as Bakugou growled. Once he was out of eyesight, Izuku breathed a sigh of relief. When his past life memories came in, Izuku started changing slightly. Knowing his intellect was higher than most everyone else's had him revert to how he was before he became Iron Man but to a lesser degree. He still had some traits, like his gentle heart and demeanor, but when confronting Kachan he found himself conflicted. He was aware of the violent and potentially lethal behavior he'd been displaying since they were children, but he looked up to the explosive blonde regardless. "Never mind him for right now. Need to check on the workshop."

Izuku sped from the school to the downtown area. Shortly after he started remembering how to build the Iron Man Armor, Izuku realized he needed something in order to properly construct them. Money. Something his current family was severely lacking in. Luckily, this world, as he was sure it was an entirely different one from the world Tony Stark had lived in, regarding the historical differences and lack of knowledge of anything regarding the disappearance of half the population of Earth, he could make use of the Stark Industries patents in this world. When he was seven, he discretely sold several patents and made billions within a few years. Of course, he kept this from his friends and family. Wouldn't do to let others know he was suddenly super intelligent. It would draw too many questions he couldn't, and didn't want to, answer.

Not long after making enough money, Izuku paid for a workshop to be made in downtown Musutafu. One that could only be accessed by himself with biometric, voice recognition, and equational safeguards. Even if someone could use a Quirk to beat the first two, the third would prove too difficult for anyone without a genius level IQ. A definite precaution in a world like this one. It was as he made his way to the workshop that he found himself stumbling across a sludge villain right in his path. "You'll do," said the villain as his body started moving to the green haired boy. Izuku cursed his luck. He had his prototype gauntlet in his bag and couldn't exactly reach for it with this villain so close. As he tried to run away, the villain started to envelop Izuku's body with his own, attempting to use him as a meat suit to hide from whatever hero was chasing him. That's when Izuku spotted the hero in question. As a sewer lid shot out and bisected the sludge tentacle trying to enter his mouth.

The green genius spat out before looking up and seeing the villain trying to attack the man, a tall, muscled man with blonde hair who simply punched forward, scattering the sludge everywhere before dispersing the man entirely to the point he dropped Izuku who started passing out from the lack of oxygen.

As he woke up, Izuku felt someone gently slapping his face. "Hey," said a masculine voice. "Thought we lost you there!" And with that, Izuku screamed. His hero and idol, the number one hero All Might, was standing right in front of him. The green haired boy scrambled backwards in surprise.

"Y-you're All Might!"

"Well, looks like you're fine!" Izuku stood up and looked at the man in front of him.

'It really is him,' he thought. 'Huh. Got nothing on the Hulk.'

"Well, I better get going!" He pat the bottles in his pockets, showing the sludge villain contained inside them. "Gotta make sure this one gets handed over to the authorities!" Izuku stayed stunned for a moment before he realized the man was leaving.

"Wait. I need to…" On instinct, he grabbed the man's leg just as he started to jump to wherever he was going and screamed as they were suddenly hundreds of feet in the air. And clung for dear life.

"What the…?" All Might looked down and saw him clinging to him. "H-hey! Let go!" The hero started trying to kick him off.

"Are you crazy?! If I let go I'll die!"

"Oh, right!"

"Can you land, please?! There was something I wanted to ask you!" Within moments, they were on top of a tall building and Izuku looked down from a ledge. "Don't suppose you could've landed somewhere closer to the ground, Big Guy?" He turned and saw All Might starting to walk to the opposite edge. "Wait. Can I be a hero like you? Even if I don't have a Quirk?!" Even though he planned on using his armor regardless, a small part of him still wanted to know what his idol thought. "All my life, I've wanted to be a hero. But everyone keeps saying it's impossible. Since I learned I was Quirkless, people have been trying to dash my hopes and tell me to give up." He looked at the ground as he thought about the doctor who gave him the bad news as well as Bakugou's bullying. Not just him, but all of the students with Quirks who singled him out. "I've been picked on and made fun of because of my dreams and told they would never become a reality. But I refuse to give up. I know I can be a hero. And I want to hear it from you. To get some form of acknowledgement that I can be like- Holy crap!" Izuku looked up and exclaimed as a cloud of smoke revealed an emaciated man standing where the hero had been just a moment before. "What the heck?! All Might?!"

"Yeah," sighed the man. "It's me."

"What happened to you?! You were a mountain before!" All Might sighed again.

"I suffered an injury about five years ago." He lifted up his shirt, revealing a scar on the left side of his torso. "Most of my stomach was destroyed. Needless to say, I haven't been eating properly since."

"So… your normal form. Is that you flexing in water in order to appear larger?"

"Wow, kid. You're smarter than you look." Izuku scowled slightly. "N-not that you look dumb!"

"Wait. I know all of the fights you had five years ago, not one of them landed a hit deep or hard enough to do this based on all of their previous bouts with other heroes. Was this fight away from public knowledge?"

"Wow. Two for two. Yeah. Me and some people I know did our best to make sure this fight didn't reach the public eyes. I'm not gonna go into more detail on that. And as a result from that, I can only transform for three hours a day. As for your original question… no." Izuku frowned as he heard the words leave All Might's mouth. "There are some villains who can only be taken on with certain types of Quirks. Even I have some trouble fighting them at times. So, sorry. But my honest answer is no. You can't be a hero like me without a Quirk." With that, Izuku watched as he left the rooftop. Disappointed, but not dejected, Izuku shook his head.

"So he doesn't think so either, huh?" The boy sighed before gaining a look of determination. "Guess I'll just have to prove them wrong." Looking around, Izuku noticed he was on top of a building several blocks away from his workshop. "Damn…" He fished around in his pocket before sighing. "And no cab fare. Guess mom's gonna worry about me being late, then." Izuku made his way down an adjacent set of stairs and started heading to his workshop. He then stumbled upon a sight he never expected in this part of town. A villain was attacking, drawing the attention of the public. He made his way to the front of the group, journal at the ready, to observe the new villain. He paused, however, as he saw it was the same sludge villain from earlier. 'But…' He thought back to him clinging to All Might for dear life. 'I must've knocked the bottles from his pocket by accident. Dammit!'

"Look," said one of the civilians near him. "That villain took a kid hostage!" Looking at the villain again, he spotted the sleeve of an Aldera uniform. His school. One of his classmates had been taken hostage. He glanced at the heroes nearby, one was putting out fire, two were evacuating civilians and Mount Lady couldn't fit in the narrow street without breaking anything. Wait. Fires? From where? He looked at the villain again and saw red eyes in a frantic state and blonde hair as the boy tried to fight his way out, only for explosions to go off from his hand and cause destruction and start spreading more fire.

"Kachan!" Izuku dug into his backpack and bolted past the police, ignoring them as they tried to call him back.

Behind the crowd, Toshinori Yagi, the man known as All Might, watched as the boy charged headfirst into danger. 'What's this kid doing,' he thought.

Izuku threw his backpack before dawning his prototype Repulser as the contents of the backpack scattered everywhere and obstructed the villain's view of him. "Hold on, Kachan!" Izuku grabbed hold of his friend's arm and pulled before seeing the sludge start to pull him in. Izuku adjusted the intensity of the gauntlet before looking at Bakugou. "Close your eyes!" He aimed his hand at the boy as the silver gauntlet powered up. Bakugou stared before closing his eyes on instinct. A wide blast hit the sludge and started separating him from Bakugou who coughed as he cleared his airways.

"Deku," growled the blonde. "I didn't ask for your help!"

"Shut up and get back before you cause more damage!" The villain growled and charged at them. Izuku aimed his gauntlet before hearing it power down. "No, no, no! Not now!" The sludge started coming down on them and Izuku, out of desperation, pushed his friend away from the villain.

"Deku!" Bakugou looked up and paused as he saw Izuku bracing himself only to feel nothing. The emerald genius checked his body for damage.

"I'm such a fool," said a voice behind him. Izuku turned around and spotted All Might blocking the villain from getting to him. "To think. I would overlook one key fact about being a hero." With a smile on his face, All Might reeled back his fist. "Detroit Smash!" Izuku covered his eyes as the punch released a gust of wind that blew out the fires around them and sent the villain into a wall, the force knocking him out. All Might turned to Izuku before giving him a thumbs up turning to address the crowd as reporters quickly swarmed the man with the danger passed.

(Ten minutes later)

Izuku sighed as he listened to the beratement from Death Arms for his recklessness. "It's not like you were going to do anything," shouted Izuku in frustration. "My friend was in danger and I went to help him! You could've done something to get him away! Even Mount Lady could've shrunken down to a manageable height to pull Kachan from the villain but neither of you did anything! At least Kamui Woods and Backdraft had legitimate reasons for not being able to help!" Death Arms glared at the boy before sighing.

"Be that as it may, it was still too dangerous for you to get involved. And you know you're not supposed to use your Quirk in public," said the hero.

"I didn't use a Quirk! I used my invention!" Izuku held up the gauntlet. "It's something I've been working on to be a hero!"

"That came from this," asked Mount Lady as she plucked the device from his hand.

"If I didn't have to make the beam wide in order to blow the villain away, it would still be operable. But yes, that was what I used. Not a Quirk." Izuku ignored the glare coming at him from Bakugou as Mount Lady gave the gauntlet back. "I didn't break any laws and still managed to help my friend. I don't care if it was reckless. I couldn't sit back and do nothing!" Izuku glared at the hero in front of him.

"I think we should let him go with a warning," said Kamui Woods. "He managed to do what we couldn't until All Might arrived by keeping the villain at bay." Death Arms looked at Kamui Woods with an exasperated look.

"Yeah," said Backdraft. "And he didn't even break anything. I'd say a warning is fair." Death Arms grunted.

"Fine," he said. "But next time, leave it to the real heroes or get your license. And don't waste our time."

"The only waste of time is you berating me for acting like a hero does," said Izuku as he walked away. Looking at the street layout, he started heading to his workshop again.

"Hey," shouted Bakugou as he followed the genius. "Don't ignore me!" Izuku sighed and turned to face the boy. "Why did you help me back there?" Izuku said nothing. "I didn't ask for your help! I didn't need it!"

"Shut up. If heroes only helped when asked, there'd be a lot more people in danger! You know that!" Bakugou backed up a step. Deku never shouted at him before. "And didn't need my help?! It was obvious your Quirk did nothing more than provide that villain a setting that prevented others from stopping him! And not only that, but you also wouldn't have been able to do any damage to him at all! I saw you were in danger and helped when no one else did! But if your pride is preventing you from accepting that, then fine. Just don't take your anger out on me and leave me alone, Kachan. I don't want to hear it." Bakugou stared as Deku started walking away. With a grunt, he started walking in the opposite direction.

Izuku paused as he saw the skeletal form of All Might in front of him. "Is now a bad time," he asked.

"No. That was long overdue." Izuku sighed before looking at the number one hero. "Why did you follow us?"

"I actually came to thank you."

"Thank me?"

"And to discuss your question from earlier." Izuku stared at the man in surprise. "If you hadn't told me about your life and run into danger to save that boy, I'd just have been a worthless bystander watching from the crowd. Like the others." Izuku grunted softly as he thought of how the heroes on sight didn't properly communicate and delegate tasks to one another to better handle the situation. So when I saw this Quirkless boy run from the crowd in a desperate attempt to save someone and put their own wellbeing on the line to get them out of harm's way, I was inspired to act as well." Izuku's eyes widened as he stared at his idol. "There are stories, you know. About heroes. How they became great. And most have one thing in common. Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think. Almost on their own." Izuku thought on what he was saying and smiled slightly as he started emulating his mother and tears started falling. "And today? That's exactly what happened to you. Young man. You too can be a hero."

(Elsewhere)

A young girl with long pink hair smiled as she finished off her latest baby. She exclaimed before shaking her head as it exploded in a puff of smoke, but didn't wipe away her smile. "Back to the drawing board," she exclaimed before wiping off the soot and going back to her tools. She heard a beep and turned to her phone, seeing a video link. "What's this?" Mei Hatsume watched the video of a boy running to pull someone from a sludge villain and almost went back to her baby when she zoomed in with her Quirk and held the phone closer to her face as she saw the verdette boy put on a silver gauntlet and blast a wide beam of energy, blasting away the villain from the angry blonde boy he was holding hostage. She ignored the rest of the video and focused on the gauntlet in the boy's hand. She rewound and reviewed the segment of the video where he used the gauntlet multiple times and exclaimed in joy before trying to replicate the design and effect.

(Shibuya Square)

A young girl with long black hair watched the video going around with interest. She noted the green hair of the boy before blinking as she recognized the energy beam that blew away the sludge villain. "Wait is that…?" She rewound the video before seeing the energy beam again and sighed. "Well. So much for practical tests. I guess a field test before any safe tests will have to do." She sighed before smiling. "Guess we know it works, Tony," said Momo Yaoyorozu. She sighed before looking at her tablet and typing something down before making her way to the train she was going to originally to head to Musutafu.

(Author's Notes)

Alright. So I've been on a bit of a superhero binge recently and got the idea to do this. Let me know your thoughts on the premise and how I did with this. I may, or may not, continue with this alongside the finale of my story Kill The Conduit or leave it be. I know I work on quite a few stories, but when I get ideas, I need to write them out. Whether or not I continue is based on how much I can work on it. Until next time, Y'all!
