Cody was really excited to be part of the wedding between Tommy and Celeste. There was more to be done about the plans in the coming weeks of the wedding reception, and he can hardly wait for it to go full swing. Celeste was going to be part of the family, and the kid's own wonderful sister-in-law. Curious of what the wedding reception would be like, Cody wondered where the event will take place, and hoped it would be a fun wedding for him to attend. Best of all, weddings always have the best kind of cakes to eat.

Looking at the tv, the kid saw "The Lion King" as he was flipping some channels to find what he wanted to watch. He decided that he would watch tbis beloved classic animated film.

Smiling, it slowly faded into a frown when it cut to the saddest part of the whole timeless classic: Mufasa falling and screaming with Simba watching in pure horror. Oh, how he remembered this scene in the movie when he was much younger.

flashback

Four year Cody was watching "The Lion King" with his father, Daniel. It was the exact same part where Mufasa had died, and as the scene went further onward, younger Cody began to cry at watching how sad and tragic Mufasa's murder was.

"Cody? Are you ok?" said Daniel.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine, daddy." He fought back tears that were forming in his eyes.

"Help!" Young Simba screamed on the TV. And that was enough to make the boy cry and let all the tears out of his eyes.

Seeing how heartbroken he was at seeing one of the greatest cartoon dads die a terrible death like this. It was not hard for Daniel to gently hug his little boy in his arms. "It's ok, Cody." Said Daniel. "It's only a movie."

Still looking at the TV, Cody let out more tears as Simba was crying himself and going under the left paw of his father's corpse for comfort. The human boy let out even more tears after this moment, and Daniel continued soothing him.

"I... i know it's only a movie, dad." said Cody as he wiped his bose with his right arm. "But... but..."

"It's still sad. I get that." Daniel replied. "That's the magic of movies like these that make them so great."

Quiet for a moment, Cody said ay last, "dad, you'll always be there for me, right?"

Daniel smiled as he gentle let go of his younger son. "Cody, me and your mother will always be there for you if you ever need any kind of help. Always. I love you, Cody."

smiling with the tears starting to go away, Cody said: "i love you too, daddy."

End of Flashback

looking back at that very moment in his life, Cody felt like God was playing a cruel, sick, joke on him just for showing him one of the saddest movie moments he had ever seen in his life.

Now his parents are dead, and he looked at one side of the couch, and on the other side of him, knowing that he was the only in the room right now.

Like many years ago, tears were forming in his eyes and the more he looked at the TV, the sadder and sadder he became.

At last, he could hold it in no longer, and cried into one of the couch pillows. This was one of the saddest scenes in any movie after all. It was just then Loona came out of the shower with her usual clothes on, and pulled out her phone like she would normally do.

"Heh, hey Cody, look at this picture Charlie sent-" the female hellhound was cut short when she heard the sound of Cody snivelling and blowing a piece of tissue to get rid of the dripping mucus. "Cody?" She said as she walked up to him, seeing that he was hanging his head down in sadness. "What's the matter?" She asked

"Oh, it's nothing, Loona. I'm fine."

"You don't sound like you are."

"Ok, i was reminded of something when my parents were still alive. Watching the Lion King. How Mufasa died... and... i guess i can relate to Simba now."

Frowning, Loona said: "oh, Cody. I'm sorry you had to see that... again." She sat down next to him to try and console him.

it was just then Blitzo came out of his bedroom and lokked happy. "Guess who got a special invite to..." he frowned to see Cody crying and Loona comforting him. "Oh, what's going on? Kidney stones?"

"No." Loona said in annoyance. "Cody just watched a sad scene to a movie."

"A movie?" Said Millie, who came in with Moxxie and Tex. "I can't believe we're going to Tommy's wedding!"

"Crumbs, i should pick the best tuxedo i can find." Moxxie said. "Cody you-" he paused to see Cody crying. "What's wrong?"

"Just watched the Lion King."

"Oh boy. Don't tell me, Mufasa right?" Said the imp.

"ah. Yeah that makes sense." Tex crossed his arms. "Are you ok, buddy?"

"Just felt like i was cruelly reminded that my parents are not with me anymore. My parents said they would always be there for me, but..." he swallowed on his sadness and Loona hugged him. "Life is so nit fair! Why is life so unfair?!" He admitted

The others gathered around him for some comfort snd support to lift his spirit.

"I am trying to be happy, but... how can i just move on and not think of that fire anymore?" He blew another tissue. "What did i do wrong to make mom and dad die like this? Does god hate me?" He closed his eyes in shame. Then he had a realization. "What if i am the Antichrist?"

"Don't ever say that." Said Millie. "The day that happens is the day pigs will fly, and humans can shoot lasers out of their eyes."

"Millie's right." said Moxxie. "You're not the Antichrist. And there is nothing tbe universe can prove otherwise."
