"Dad?" Draco questions suddenly at the breakfast table. He's been deep in thought the whole morning and hasn't even tried making his usual conversation with Haddy.

It's been almost a week since Hadrian got out of the hospital for the second time and he seems to be doing a lot better. The bottles are still a constant along with the feeding tube much to Haddy's chagrin.

"Yes, Dragon?"

"Can I have a few friends over today?"

"I think that's a great idea," Narcissa interjects when she sees the look on her husband's face. "Draco hasn't had company for quite some time and it would be good to get a head start on that homework." Draco groans not wanting his time spent with his friends to be dominated by something as boring as summer school work, but all eyes draw to Harry when he loudly drops his fork.

"I-I," he starts tearing up, "I c-can't go to Hogwarts no more." He promptly burst into tears. No one notices the subtle eye roll Draco gives as they jump to comfort Hadrian.

"You're alright, Hadrian. You may be too young for Hogwarts but you can still work on magical theory until you go."

"And just think how much of a leg up you're going to have above the other first years having been through it already," Narcissa smirks. "Yes, you can invite a few guests over for lunch, Draco. Just make sure you aren't too loud. Your aunt will be arriving soon as well."

As soon as breakfast is over Draco heads to his room to clean up and get his books together. He's certain his mother will expect at least one essay to be complete by the end of the visit. Lucius goes to his study to floo call the Zabinis and Parkinsons before starting his work. Normally Crabb and Goryel would join also but he keeps in mind that this is the first time the Slytherins would be properly meeting Hadrian. Narcissa ends up taking Haddy with her to the sitting room to wait for her sister.

Today is going to be a busy day for everyone.

"So how is having a younger sibling going, Draco?" Blaise asks once they settle in Draco's room. He and Pansy were properly introduced to Hadrian who hid shyly behind his mother before the trio went up to Draco's room.

"It's great. Hadrian is a little clingy but Mother and Father say it's due to his awful relatives."

"Clingy?" Pansy scoffs. "Clingy is just a nice way of saying he's taking all of the attention. You know this is how it's going to be from now on, right?"

"What are you talking about? Draco's parents are not like that."

"Yeah, I don't think they would just forget about me."

"Who are you really going to listen to? The only child or the one with an older brother who no one talks about anymore" Draco doesn't answer but that doesn't deter her. "As soon as I came along there were no longer special days with just the three of them. You guys see how my parents treat the both of us. It's obvious who the favorite is. Why do you think you're different?"

"Of course this is different," Blaise tries to interject but Pansy talks over him.

"Haven't you already seen it? Hadrian bats his eyes and your parents come running. No matter what."

Draco remains quiet, thinking.

Narcissa is as excited as she is nervous. Today marks the third day in a row that her sister has felt good. She's been eating and talking and sending letters along with her husband, vouching his wife's continued health. Today is a perfect day to finally introduce her to her newest nephew. She was unfortunately unable to come to St. Mungo's on the day of Hadrian's birth as it closely coincided with the date of her stillbirth just a year prior. Nevertheless, Narcissa is thrilled by this opportunity and hopes that everything goes smoothly.

"Cissa, I'm here," Bellatrix calls out once she exits the flames with a flourish. "Where is the little one?" Narcissa draws her sister into her arms for a deep hug while Haddy hides behind one of the arm chairs.

"We missed you, Bella. Hadrian, come and greet your aunt, please." Haddy slowly makes his way over to the pair as Bella gets down on her knees.

"Hello, little one. I am your aunty Bella and I am so happy to finally meet you." Once he's within arms reach she carefully pulls the boy into her arms, giving the child enough time to pull back before engulfing him in a warm hug. Narcissa's heart warms at the reunion of her older sister and baby boy. Eventually, she ushers the two into the family room where they'll be more comfortable.

The afternoon is filled with Bellatrix getting closer to her newest nephew and pulling out information Narcissa had yet to discover. She's quickly reminded of her sister's mind healer trainer that she underwent before the madness took over her mind. The two women are able to get Hadrian to not only snack and play but talk a little about his life before coming to live with the Malfoys.

After lunch, where they continue to fuss over the boy as Pansy shares knowing looks with Draco, Narcissa decides that it's best if Haddy rests while Bella spends some time with her first nephew.

"Now Draco," Bellatrix starts when he sits in front of her after bidding his friends goodbye and settling next to his aunt. "How is it having a baby brother?"

"It's fine. Mother and father are really happy that he's back."

"I know it can be a big adjustment having a sibling especially with the issues that Hadrian is facing but you have been such a big help. Thank you so much for allowing your parents to devote so much of their time with Hadrian." Bellatrix's heartfelt speech has Draco pausing. He has been feeling out of sorts since his talk with Pansy but it's nice that at least one person is noticing his sacrifices. The two talk and Draco is able to get more off his chest.

Later everyone is in the sitting room about to say their goodbyes when Hadrian suddenly bursts into tears apologizing.

"What's wrong, Lovely? What happened?" Narcissa asks while scooping Hardrian into her arms.

"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. We were wrong. So wrong. I'm sorry."

"Why are you apologizing?"

"I have a bad secret that I have to tell you," Harry tearfully admits.

"What kind of secret?"

"Aunty Bella is so nice and I'm so sorry. I thought you didn't want me, so why would she want him?"

"We love you Hadrian. We told you that. The day you were taken was the worst day of my life," Narcissa admits.

"I know. I love you and Daddy and Draco and Aunty Bella so much, but like how I belong to you and daddy?"

"Yes," she encourages.

"Neville belongs to Aunty Bella."
